post about my depressing introspection. Because I have no one IRL who I can vent these to, or at least, no one I feel comfortable venting to about these emotions without feeling like a burden and wanting to dieeeee…

I take to Tumblr, a place I rarely visit due to SJW cringe and a lot of the people I followed changing their blog themes or leaving after the Culling, to rant my emotions to a vast sea of faceless users that….don’t care.

So, let’s just jump right into it!

Life is meaningless, as always, but it really hit me after I graduated High School. That hellish prison, or so I thought, because I’d GLADLY go back than keep living this new scary Adult Life ™ that I’ve been thrusted into.

I graduated in May, whoopie, hooray for me. I was pretty happy for about a week. I had a feeling this was gonna happen, but I ignored it. I thought that I could finally take some time off from doing…things, besides the measly 6-9 hours a week that I worked at my town’s local restaurant making pizza. But NOPE. My MOTHER decides that I get 1 week off. And then, I MUST IMMEDIATELY FIND A GROWN UP JOB CAUSE IM A BIG BOY AND IF IM NOT GOING TO COLLEGE STRAIGHT OUTTA HIGH SCHOOL, THEN I NEED TO FIND MYSELF A FULL TIME JOB AND NOT HAVE A BREAK FROM 13 YEARS OF INSTITUTIONAL LEARNING.

So, i got some strings pulled, and the next week, i got a job in the actual kitchen at the Restraunt ™.

It sucks. I work 24-25 hours a week, 5-6 hour days, during early morning (not a morning person) slaving over a hot stove and deep fryers, racing around a kitchen, dodging the actual cook since I’m basically just an assistant to the Actual Cook ™ all while the Actual Cook ™ gets compliments from the owner and customers and I get pure radio static unless I fuck something up and then I get a Talkin’ To ™. (Prepare for a lot of ™s.) I go home, exhausted and aching. I go in my room, shut my door and try to rest….

(Warning: I’m gonna be referring to my “mother” with the pronoun It. That thing is not worth calling a pronoun or even a person, it has lost all value as a human)

Until my “mother” decide it’s time to FUCK WITH ME and then i have to complete mundane chores while my waste of a mother lazes around and complains it’s not Feeling Well ™ and it’s Tired ™ from working 2-3 hours that morning. And it’s a high school janitor. Not even that, it’s a supervisor, and all it does is tell its employees what to do and it’ll occasionally sweep or mop something. It does NOTHING and that’s why the school looks like shit. But it still comes home with enough energy to abuse its entire family (emotionally and mentally to me, my father and my sister + physically to my sister, but that’s a whole other story) and scream at me to complete simple household tasks, which I do almost all of the tasks this house needs except maybe 1 or 2 , and THEN IT HAS THE AUDACITY TO SAY IT DOES EVERYTHING AROUND HERE AND NO ONE GIVES IT A BREAK. It’s a waste of biomass, and I hope it has a massive stroke and dies an agonizing and slow death. Luckily, it’s slowly stopped doing so much shit (nearly to a halt) to me as it’s realized that I won’t allow it to abuse me as badly as it used to anymore, but it has its ways. Since I won’t let it abuse me, that new channel has strengthened the abuse towards my father and sister. I am forced to sit here and listen to that thing call my father, who is a wonderful dad, a piece of shit and a waste, and beat and berate my sister in the room next to mine. The situation’s awful…

I’m both physically and mentally exhausted from my job that doesn’t appreciate me, then I have to deal with listening to two of the closest people in my life get torn down and beaten by a abomination who dares call itself a “good wife and mother”. I wouldn’t even call it either of those things. It’s scum. I need to leave, I really need to leave. And there’s nothing I can do about my situation. If I try to get authorities called on it, it’ll just hide all evidence it has done anything wrong and fake it. Once the authorities are gone, I’m done for. It’ll kick me out of the house with no resistance since my entire family has essentially developed Stockholm Syndrome, which is another reason getting the police involved is hard. I can’t bring myself to do it, it’ll tear the family apart. My sister will get taken into custody and put into foster care. My father and the abomination will divorce, which with my father’s intense case of Stockholm Syndrome, will drive him into depression and probably suicide. And most of all, my “mother” will face minimal consequences since it has a silver tongue to challenge Lucifer himself and will mostly likely get away scot-free. And if I don’t do anything, then that abomination will continue in it’s sadistic and vile ways, causing my family to worsen and probably force my sister to kill herself when she hits 13 or 14. My entire relationship to my family is….gross and awful when dealing with It. My father and sister are wonderful , but my “mother” is ruining them…

Normally, I can deal with this with social interaction, spending time with friends. Having them over at my house usually forces “mother” to put up a “good person” mask in front of everyone. It has to maintain a reputation, ya know? So, I have friends over constantly. But now that we’ve graduated…..most of them have already headed to the next stage in life. 2 of them are shipping off to the Navy in under a month, 4 of them are in relationships which occupy most of their time and attention (2 of them being fathers, which takes up even more time), and 3 of them are hyper focused on college, and the final 3 don’t do anything outside of school. Like, they refuse to leave their house 90% of the time. I only truly have one person to spend time with. But even he is a two faced and apathetic friend. He’ll talk good about me to my face and our mutual friends, but talk major shit about me to people who don’t like me. I get he’s trying to maintain as many friendships as he can, but it’s still two faced and it’s still wrong. So, most of my friends have moved on with their lives, the one I do have is kind of shitty, and I have no online friends because I get more anxiety trying to become friends with people online than I do IRL in a sick twist of fate.

So, exhausted, beaten and alone, I’ve fallen into a bit of a depression. That is, if I could feel it. Since my life had been filled with negative stimuli and new ones kept popping up, I decided at some point that I was done feeling emotions and I started to become permanently apathetic. And it’s finally taken effect. Now, most of the time, all I feel is….indifference to stuff. I shoved my emotions down so far and bottled them up so tight, they don’t really exist anymore. I still feel mild versions of emotions, but it’s more or less the lite versions. Anger has become mild annoyance, depression has become very mild sadness, and happiness has become mild satisfaction. Humor hasn’t changed. I can still fall over crying from a funny joke, so there’s at least that. I can still feel happiness in one form. Other than that, though, it’s mostly just…indifference. And with apathy comes grim realization.

I have no real talents or skills or even passions, which has shown me that I’m fairly mediocre. And that life is gonna be mediocre. And i’m most likely going to be just another cog in the machine of life. I’m going to live a mediocre life, work a mediocre job and die a mediocre death.

And it sucks to realizes this, but it’s a fact I’ve accepted. Or, well, a perception I’ve internalized. I know that all the negative things I say are unhealthy and incorrect. At least I’m self aware. But, I feel like I’m stuck in the cycle of mediocrity and just existing without purpose. I want to die, not because I’m depressed, but to escape this path of apathy and mediocrity,

That’s what really hit me when I graduated. I coasted through high school, using little to no effort to get through it, all while complaining it was hell. But now I’m out, with no real talent or work ethic and no idea where to go. My goal has been to graduate, but now that I have…..what now? Where do I go?

I’m lost and I have no one to aid me through it. My friends have moved on, and my family and me are in different worlds. I got nobody, and it kinda sucks.

I have no purpose.
