• leo is honestly the last person u want to see when ur trying to finish learning ur material,,,that too in a rush

• that, nd also that if u dont give him Any attention At All he will literally wither away nd basically refuse to sleep nd WILL stare at u till u give him kissies (nd he alrdy doesnt sleep enough........ sigh)

• so when he wakes up in the middle of the night (the one night u managed to somehow get him to bed) nd doesnt see u in the room a part of him panics

• he quickly calls out for u nd when he hears u respond from the study room, he opens the door to see u slowly turn around from ur chair, tired, shoulders slumped over

• immediately rushing over, leo tightly wraps u in a hug, a hand running through ur hair

• nd then he places his head on ur lap, the other half on his body relying on the chair he was previously sitting on for support

• anyways to make up for it, nd also stick w his promise to help u, he tells u to go through the material, nd explain it to him! he heard somewhere that it works bcs it forces u to rlly understand the concept instead of memorising it nd u think it should work

• but oh god how is it supposed to work when rei keeps looking at u w stars in his eyes, nd his hand suddenly grabs urs nd he circles his thumb on the back of ur hand nd IS HE FLIRTING IN THE MIDDLE OF A STUDY SESSION

• rei playfully quirks an eyebrow when he sees u get flustered nd just . lay ur head on the table w sigh nd just whine

• "REIIIIIIIII I HAVE TO STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

• he chuckles bcs he does realise what hes doing to u nd honestly he loves ur reactions so he keeps doing it

Eh i think it still has some weird yaoi shit I just don't quite know the degree? I have really high tolerances for yaoi bullshit due to brain poisoning so I'm sure my meter is off BUT its yaoi bullshit flavor is mostly in the 'awkward' rather than 'YEEEEE-IKES' category imo. but, this is how I would sum it up:

the main character turns 30 while still being a virgin and because of this he like... gains the power to read people's minds and finds out his coworker has a crush on him. shenanigans ensue. he ends up being like wow this guy rules actually I love him :) I'm only on episode 10 right now so idk how it ends yet whoops. also despite the premise the narrative doesn't feel like it really shames him for being inexperienced and it makes a point to tell you not being interested in relationships is okay through a side character which was a really neat moment especially considering the character is a woman and female characters in yaoi/BL are usually fucking terrible IEHWHDJDJ.

Also there's a B plot with the main character's romance author friend and the guy who delivers all his cat tree packages. I thought it was just okay and most of my enjoyment of it was bc I already like the 'type' of couple. execution was a bit weird and I also feel some kind of way about the whole customer/employee meet cute trope but. package delivery guy gets a bonus for actually saying he's gay afaik all the other characters do the whole 'yes I love you no I will never talk about my sexuality ever' thing (which I guess I prefer over IM STRAIGHT BUT YOURE THE EXCEPTION trope but not by much)

also yes! get into cpop. i personally don't find their '4th gen' music (basically the new generation of kpop knockoffs) good because of its horrendous english grammar, but their music isn't mind blowing or anything anyways. i would recommend some ballads though, chinese ballads will remain superior forever.shotaro supremacy! i fell for him before i even started stanning nct, that says so much. and yes, ive watched his relay cam and fan cams multiple times, way before i stanned too haha. hes honestly so likeable.
