Hello! ❤️ I'm only going to do MC's full siblings, but if you want the others, the other consort's opinions, or your father's opinion, just let me know!

Putting it under the cut!

Consort Huo Qinwen: Consort Huo doesn't really care about who you decide to court, as long as you're happy! That said, she does have a slight preference for Si Huaiqiao or Xu Chanyu. First, she loves a good Servant/Liege romance (literally how she got together with your father), but also because they've been with you for a while and she thinks they know you the best.

Second Prince Nan Shuailu: Shuailu doesn't mind who you romance, but he would definitely prefer Si Huaiqiao. As mentioned in the post about Zhi Qianxie (Shuailu's personal guard), Shuailu arranged for Huaiqiao to be assigned to you. If you two ended up together, he'd be extremely pleased about it. (He's also living vicariously through you two since he's too scared to ask his own guard out LMAO)

7th/8th Princess Nan Liangxu: Liangxu, like the others, doesn't mind/care who you romance. She's a bit young to understand the political implications of marriages and relationships, so she can't really have a true meaningful and impactful opinion. But, if she had to pick, it'd be Wu Nahou. She remembers seeing her perform at different social events/festivals and she think's she's cool and pretty!

10th/11th Prince Nan Qiongkuai: Right, so Qiongkuai is a Literal Toddler at 2 years old. He has no real idea what's happening and really doesn't have an impactful opinion on this. That said, his favorite ROs are Wei Duqiong, You Kounao, and Xu Chanyu. He likes Wei Duqiong since he gets gifts from him every time he visits, he likes You Kounao since he plays with him and can match his energy, and he likes Xu Chanyu since he sees her around a lot and she also sneaks him candy!

Dowager Queen Nan Niexing: Dowager Queen Nan Niexing also doesn't really care, as long as you're happy. That being said, she would prefer you to marry someone "of your station" so that would mean either You Kounao or Shen Sandong! She also wouldn't mind Si Huaiqiao since he's been with you/the palace for over 10 years now. But if you don't romance any of those, she won't make a fuss. She's just thinking about how to best protect you from court enemies.

MC's Family React to MC Getting Kidnapped and Later Being Found Beaten Up

King Nan Shaimian - Shaimian wouldn't know what happened until the Head of the Guards tells him. He'd be very upset and immediately arrange a search party. When you're found, he'll feel bad and come visit you maybe 3 or 4 times while you're healing. It might not sound like a lot, but he's busy trying to figure out how this was even possible while also running a kingdom. He will also arrange a group to go find your kidnapper.

Dowager Queen Nan Niexing - Niexing will be very upset when she hears you've been kidnapped. She'll be relieved you're alive when you're found, despite you being badly hurt. She often acts as anchor for both Consort Huo and her son while you're healing since those two get a bit in their heads. She will also spend time with you while you're healing. When the kidnapper is found, Niexing will be glad and the kidnapper should be glad she's not younger, or things might be way worse for them.

Crown Prince Nan Lunsu - Lunsu like the rest of his family, will be very upset hearing about you being kidnapped. He wants to join the search for you but Queen He, his mother, makes him stay and help run the country since Shaimian would be occupied with finding you. He's glad when you're found. There's the smallest chance of him maybe visiting you while you're healing. He's a very busy person who doesn't get much free time. He'll also want to join the search for your kidnapper, in which Queen He, once again, stops him to get him to help his father with running the country. He'll be relieved when the kidnapper is caught and turns a blind eye to his more... creatively inclined... siblings who want revenge.

First Princess Nan Kutuo - Kutuo will be very worried hearing about you being kidnapped. She thinks her mother has something to do with it (surprisingly, Consort Xing does not, this time). She'll be happy but worried when you're found. She'll probably drop by a few times while you're healing to drop off some get-well gifts. She can't stay since she's a busy woman, but you enjoy the little bit of time you get to spend with her. She's happy when the kidnapper is caught and brings her more creatively inclined siblings (and Lunsu) with her to pay the kidnapper a little visit in jail. She just wants to talk...

Second Princess Nan Dapang - Dapang would be upset. She doesn't know you super well, but she still knows you. She's one of the people who's allowed to go on the search for you. She's glad when you're found and will send you some flowers and a small get-well gift, but, like Kutuo, she is very busy with her area of study. She most likely won't visit you while you're healing. She's also one of the people who help find the kidnapper. She goes with Kutuo to pay the kidnapper a little visit.

Third Prince Nan Pihen - Pihen will be worried. He's a natural worrier, so this is pretty on par. He makes sure his mother doesn't try to meddle in the investigation or anything. He's relieved when you're found and will also send you some flowers and a get-well present. He might drop in for a quick visit to play his flute for you, if he can get Consort Xing off his back for an hour. He's also glad when the kidnapper is caught. He goes with Kutuo to pay the kidnapper a little visit, though he doesn't do anything. He's more there for moral support for his older sister.

Third Princess Nan Luexia - Luexia is worried what this will mean for the rest of the siblings, especially the younger ones. She's happy when you're found and will bring you flowers and a get-well present in person. You don't normally talk to Luexia since she tends to be busy, but she seems to know a lot about you. She's glad when the kidnapper is caught, but still thinks the security needs work in the palace. She will not join Kutuo and her siblings in paying the kidnapper while in jail, although she does say to "give them a kick" for her.

Fourth/Fifth Princess Nan Zhouwa - Zhouwa is worried since you're one of her favorite siblings. When you're found, she's relieved, even if you're hurt pretty badly. She'll visit you as much as she can while you're healing, eagerly sharing gossip you're missing while you're getting better. She's glad when your kidnapper is found. She's all too happy when Kutuo extends her an invitation to go pay the culprit a little visit in jail with their siblings.

Fifth/Sixth Princess Nan Gaotang - Gaotang is also worried since you're one of her favorite siblings too. She's also glad when you're found and tries to visit as much as possible while you're healing. She, like Zhouwa, tells you about gossip you're missing out on, although she focuses more on the court than the personal lives of the nobility. She's happy when the kidnapper is found.

Fourth/Fifth Prince Nan Duanzu - Duanzu is upset when he hears you've been kidnapped. He can't really do much since he's 16, but he tries to help out as much as he can and that Consort Xing will allow. He's glad when you're found, since he thinks things could've gotten a lot worse. He won't visit you while you're healing since you're not that close. He does send you some get-well flowers, much to his mother's disappointment.

Fifth/Sixth Prince Nan Casao - Casao is just as worried as Gaotang and Zhouwa since you're also one of his favorite siblings. He also tries to help out as much as possible in the search for you and the kidnapper. He's relieved when both of you are found. He'll try to pay you a visit and spend time with you while you're healing, but he's pretty busy with his studies.

Sixth/Seventh Prince Nan Kenlu - Kenlu, like the others, is also upset to hear you've been kidnapped. He won't do much to try to find you since he's 14 and is pretty sure he'll just get in the way. He is promptly told "no" and is forced encouraged to help train his Magic Aptitude. He's happy when you're found, even if you're hurt. He might visit you if he can find time in his schedule. He'll bring some get-well flowers since he's not super close to you. He's a bit miffed when his teacher makes him help out on the search for the kidnapper, but is happy when the kidnapper is found pretty quickly.

Seventh/Eighth Princess Nan Liangxu - Liangxu won't quite understand what's happening, just that everyone's acting weird in the palace and it has something to do with you being gone. When you're found, she cries when she sees you're hurt and tries to give you Maomao, her beloved stuffed toy dog, to help you feel better. She spends a bit of time with you while you're healing, but not a whole lot since you do need rest and she's 8.

Tenth/Eleventh Prince Nan Qiongkuai - Qiongkuai is 2 years old. Does he know what's going on? No. Does he know you're gone? Yes. Does he like you being gone? No. When you're found, he'll be told that you have a big ouchie and he has to be nice to you. He makes you a little get-well card. It's an artistic masterpiece... for a 2 year old. He spends a decent amount of time with you since he's around Consort Huo a lot. He likes to crawl into bed with you to show you what he recently learned (shapes, colors, numbers, etc). He does kick and scream when it's time to leave you to rest, not wanting to leave you alone.

Yes! Nahou does have foreign heritage and she's definitely better than Consort Xing LMAO! The other ROs who have foreign heritage are Kounao and Duqiong!

Consort Huo, and by extension Shuailu, MC, Liangxu, and Qiongkuai, can also have foreign heritage depending on what you decide your MC looks like!

Which is rather funny to think about if Consort Huo and Consort Xing both had foreign heritage, the King struck gold with one and an absolute terror with the other LMAO!

What's Huo Qinwen's relationship with her children? (Specifically MC but I'd love to see how she is with the other siblings too) is she cold and strict or caring and doting towards them? Or does she have a favorite that she especially dotes on and a least favorite that she pays less attention to?

OH and does the MC get to choose how they feel towards mother dearest/choose their dynamic (if you will) or is their relationship set in stone?

I addressed this briefly in the Side Characters page, but I'd be glad to expand on it!

As for being able to pick how MC feels towards their mother, I'm debating whether or not to include it. It wouldn't really amount to much since she'd treat you the same, even if you didn't like her, so if I do include it, it'd be for flavor text only and not make much of a difference!

Consort Huo Qinwen's relationship with her children is all positive. As mentioned in the Side Characters page, she dotes on her children quite a bit, more than what's expected of a consort, anyways. She doesn't really have favorites among her children, but she does recognize that the younger ones need more attention than the older ones.

Nan Shuailu

Consort Huo's relationship with her first child and eldest son is as good as it can be. Second Prince Nan Shuailu is kept very busy as the heir's heir, meaning he doesn't see his mother too much anymore. He's also 25 years old, so he doesn't need his mother to baby him. That said, Consort Huo will still baby him. It doesn't really matter if he's 5 or 25, he's still her baby. In return, he actively works the court and its officials in her favor, which pisses Consort Xing off quite a bit.

Consort Huo also caused quite a bit of a fuss when Shuailu was born, since she refused to hand him to a wet nurse at first, which was customary for consorts. She was eventually convinced to hand him to a wet nurse, but it ended up working in her favor in the end since he refused to nurse from anyone but her.

Consort Huo's relationship with her second child is also good. MC still stays with their mother in her palace at the start of the story, so they see her quite a bit. She tries to arrange 1-on-1 time with them, knowing that most of her attention goes to the younger children than her older ones. She's supportive of everything MC decides to do and actively tries to show interest, even if it's out of her wheelhouse.

Nan Liangxu

Consort Huo's relationship with her third child is great. Seventh/Eighth Princess Nan Liangxu is only 8 years old, so she still requires her mother's attention. She enjoys doting on her daughter, buying her various dolls and stuffed toys for her never-ending collection as well as helping her get ready in the morning. Liangxu adores her mother in turn, often picking weeds flowers for her, since she's too young to do much. When she has time, Consort Huo also enjoys playing with her daughter.

Nan Qiongkuai

Consort Huo's relationship with her fourth child is also great. Tenth/Eleventh Prince Nan Qiongkuai is 2 years old, so he takes up much of her time. He's a very energetic and happy toddler, wanting to be carried quite a bit. He's still learning basics like numbers and colors, which she helps with when available. He spends most of his time around her with his nannies. He is also currently being weened off of milk, much to his displeasure. He still doesn't like being too far from her either, throwing tantrums when she has things to do that don't involve him. Like with Liangxu, Consort Huo will also play with him when she has the time.

Second Prince Nan Shuailu is MC's older brother. He is 25 years old and the fourth born among ... twenty-two children. As Second Prince, he's very busy with tutors, learning law, and court politics. He is currently second-in-line for the throne, making him an easy target for Consort Xing. Despite her clearly targeting him, Shuailu actually gets along fantastically with the Consort Xing's son, the Third Prince.

He is a good older brother and son, despite his duties taking him away from his siblings and mother more often than not. He excels in both combat and law. MC's Personal Guard, Si Huaiqiao, was actually assigned to Shuailu first before Shuailu sent him to them.

Lunsu to Kenlu - LINK

Sixth/Seventh Princess Nan Zhuanying - Zhuanying is Consort Xing's 4th child and is her "favored" daughter. As a result, Zhuanying doesn't really like MC that much, although it's more because of her mother's influence over her than her actual feelings. She's 10, so give her a little time to develop her own opinions.

Eight/Ninth Princess Nan Tuojiu - Tuojiu is Consort Dou's 3rd child. Tuojiu is actually a little scared of MC! MC hasn't done anything to her, she just has her mother's personality and all of her older siblings (Kenlu and older) are intimidating to her! She's 7 years old.

Seventh/Eighth Prince Nan Genbi - Genbi is Consort Re's 4th child and is the eldest of her twins. Genbi likes MC. Since Consort Re and Consort Huo are friends, he sees them fairly often. He likes to try to be "grown up" around them since they're one of the older siblings!

Eighth/Ninth Prince Nan Zhuibi - Zhuibi is Consort Re's 5th child and is the youngest of her twins. MC is one of Zhuibi's favorite siblings, so he likes them. He likes that MC is willing to let him be a menace, within reason.

Ninth/Tenth Princess Nan Quanying - Quanying is Queen He's 3rd child. Quanying is acquainted with MC, but she doesn't have any super strong feelings since she doesn't see MC too often, often with her nannies at Queen He's palace. She's 5, so she's still a bit shy around her siblings.

Ninth/Tenth Prince Nan Zuoya - Zuoya is Consort Xing's 5th child. He doesn't really have an opinion like Quanying. He tends to just repeat what Consort Xing says about the other consorts' children/the consorts, if asked, since he's 4 years old.

Tenth/Eleventh Princess Nan Tangye - Tangye is Consort Xing's 6th child. She doesn't have an opinion on MC since she's 1.

Eleventh Prince(ss) Nan Guangtian - Guangtian has not been born yet.
