Ambition through the signs (pt.2)

Hello every one and welcome back to this series where I analyse personality traits through each and every signs and ranking them, just for fun.

My definition of ambition for this ranking will be : someone's who has a "strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work".

Please check your Sun, Moon or Mars. You may also look at other placements, such as houses. I would suggest 1st, 6th, 7th and 10th.

Leo (#2)

This shouldn't come as a surprise for any of y'all, as Leo is ruled by the Sun and is also a fixed sign. Which means, they'll definetely have some big projects for themselves and be able to follow through their plans entirely. I think one of the reason why Leos might not seem ambitious is that they really do love to have fun and might get distracted at time. I think, if they're well surrounded and get enough praise, they do get really far.

advice: be careful not to get crushed under the pressure. you're the one being too harsh on yourself at times.

2. Cancer (#10)

The reason why Cancer is not rly high on the list is because of two things. First of all, they're ruled by the Moon. Which means, they are really, really moody. One day, they want to be a nurse, the other day a professional ballet dancer. This constant change in plans can leave them overwhelmed and frozen. It's not that they wouldn't be able to achieve it, they would, it's just that their goals keep changing as their mood changes (which is pretty frequent) and they end up not knowing what they really want to do. The second aspect is that Cancer are really scared of getting hurt. There's a reason why the crab is one of their symbols. They create this thick ass barrier between them and the world in order to stay safe. But by staying in their comfort zone, Cancers can sometimes shoot themselves in the foot. It's not every Cancers that are like that, though. Some of them have found a balance between their comfort zone and the risks they have to take in order to reach their goals. But it's hard for them, that's all. Doesn't come naturally.

advice : Give yourself the opportunity to fall. You can actually learn alot more by fucking things up, failing, getting hurt and getting back up. Your refusal to get hurt can sometimes create more pain than anything.

3. Gemini (#11)

Gemini kind of has the same problems as Cancers : they're always changing their mind! I would say even more than Cancers. Their interest jumps from subjects to subjects and they rarely get too deep in anything. Gemini gets bored really quickly, only finding the first part of a project the most interesting. I will say, they do have enough imagination to be able to visualize something for themselves, and dream big. I would say their flaw resides in choosing a subject and really sticking to it. Let's also note that most Geminis are naturally good at a lot of things, so that explains why they get bored so quickly.

advice: this should be obvious, but stick to the project you've started! i know everything else seems more fun at the moment, but please stick to that one project you've started.

4. Taurus (#12)

Yep. Taurus, to me, is the least ambitious sign. Now. That doesn't mean that they're never going to achieve anything, they're going to be miserable their whole life or anything like that. Taurus are hard workers, who rarely give up on a assigned task. But, the moment they get stuck in a situation that feels comfortable (but is not necessarily their highest potential), they'll stay. Taurus craves material stability. Let's say for example, they get hired for a job that pays well, treats them well and gets them paid vacations. At the same time, they also have a deep desire to be a model. Both jobs pays well, but one gives them the stability they so deeply crave. While they will work hard at both jobs, most Taurus will choose the job that can give them stability now. They don't really like to take risks if it means that it threatens their financial security.

advice: In order to achieve your highest potential, getting out of that comfort zone is going to be your lifelong lesson. It's scary, it's uncomfortable (which we know you hate being uncomfortable), but it's necessary.

5. Virgo (#1)

Number one spot, baby. Are we really surprised? Virgos are such powerhouses, it's freaking ridiculous. There's multiple reasons why Virgos deserve that number one spot. First of all, their main theme is to be of service, to devote themselves to someone or something. If they find that goal they want to achieve, best believe, they will give them their all. Another thing that helps them is the fact that they will always strive for perfection. They do not give up, under any circumstances and that is fueled by their ability to evolve constantly, to improve. That is something that most ambitious signs don't have. Most of them want to achieve things just to see the finish line. Virgos will be at the finish line and will ask about "when's the next race?" While this can be detrimental long term, we cannot deny the determination and grit that comes out of that mentality. Another thing, they're mutable signs. I feel like most Virgos have mastered the main strength about being a mutable signs which means to adapt. They will change the game if it doesn't work for them. By being a earth sign, they are able to materialize their thoughts into the real world and create really big things for themselves. Being ruled by Mercury, their need for constant mental stimulation makes them always want to take on a bigger challenge (because ... they're bored otherwise). Nah, really, Virgos deserve that m'fin spot. Sue. Me.

advice : y'all already know your flaws, y'all be aight.

6. Libra (#6)

Libras are in the middle. To them, achieving things can mean a higher social status, people praising them, receiving compliments on their achievements, etc. And those are all things that gets them going. It's important to them that they look good in front of society and in this society, material success is considered the highest form of success. Most of them will then try to achieve that. Because they're fueled by that motivation, that validation of others, they can actually go pretty far. They're also Cardinal signs who love to create things for themselves, being their own bosses, etc. The reason they're not any higher is that, they can sometime get lost into people's opinions and thoughts about them. I know many Libra placements that seem like they'll only do what people expects of them.

advice : Many of y'all suffer from people-pleasing tendencies. Do what you wanna do. You'll be happier. And don't worry, you'll still get praised about it.
