until one day he is walking somewhere and he runs across a cat family sitting on a wall outside a house

he really, really, kinda thinks one looks like dazai just a little bit and he is kinda annoyed he also lowkey wants the cat but moves on with his life. no time for bothering with that. so yeah, goes about himself

when he returns later chuuya is sitting on a couch, legs up and crossed. He's all lazy, looking at his phone. Aku keeps walking until the guy calls out to him. He's asked how his mission went. He just gives a vague non-answer and goes back to wherever

eventually he runs across the same cat and he is kinda frustrated because it looks lost. he decides to take it back to the home he found it before, but there is a for sale sign and he calls up higuchi like some serious stuff is going down and she comes down immediatly with a car. so, basically on this nice little street in the middle of nothing-happens-land this fancy car pulls up and out pops a lady lookin' like she works for some secret organization. (she does, but still) no one is really around, anyway, aside from maybe someone looking from a window and the two start talking. Higuchi absolutely notices that akutagawa's rashomon is moving a bit oddly, but is whatever about it. Aku tells her he found something and it needed to be taken back with them. He's holding the cat in his hand like he's it's mother (full on cat hunched over like 'where are we going, mommy?') and higuchi's face is completely red with -wow senpai is cute frfr, how did i get so lucky????-

so, yeah, the cat gets taken back with them.

afterward, chuuya is 100% acting like it is his cat

there is always the idea that chuuya just shows up with a cat or the cat just shows up / follows aku back to the organization

The good news is that I went to the dr today and he didn’t dismiss me at all! He listened and did a few tests and got blood and a stomach xray but said he doesn’t rly know what the problem could be so he’s sending me to …a specialist AND to the hospital later this week for additional tests and. A scope of my stomach and I’m like 😰 I know it was probably unrealistic to think he’d just immediately kno what the problem was and be able to prescribe something to fix it but I’m like. A little SCARED now bc now it feels Real and more serious aaaa 🫠
