Int: I feel like suddenly everybody is able to express themselves more.
Pierre: Thanks to...
Int: I know Lewis started doing it but -
Pierre: To be fair, I think it's important to say it. Without him, it would be different these days. Lewis opened a lot of doors for all of us, and I think the mentality has changed slightly, I think people have a lot more space to express themselves.

Summary: He is the definition of high class smart ass, swimming in Dom Pierre Pérignon champagne and has never seen the shadow of poverty. She is underprivileged, lives in a messy dorm room on sale and struggles working as an assistant after being thrown out of college. But how will they collide when Luke makes Y/N pregnant after a drunkenly one night stand?
When We Collide on Wattpad
“This is not a good idea...”
“What?” Luke asked in disagreement and threw his jacket over his shoulder, “It’s the best idea possible!”
You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms. No matter how many times he tried to convince you the idea only got worse. It was no way possible that you, Holly, Luke and Ashton would all together go out on a shopping spree for the baby.
Or more likely it wasn’t supposed to be a shopping spree. Holly and Luke needed more reputation as they hadn’t been doing much PR stunts for a while and needed to get out to the public to do something.
You on the other hand had planned a simple day for shopping. You knew Ashton already had planned to tag along since you had asked him and Luke didn’t seem to mind when you explained him what was going to happen.
But you hadn’t expected he would come with the suggestion. In fact, you had planned for it to be a great day but now it already seemed to crumble and you had barely gotten to your breakfast.
“What if she gets suspicious? Out of all the days you could go out and do public stunts it had to be the day I planned to go shopping for the baby?” You opened the fridge a little bit frustrated and pulled out some yogurt.
“It’s Holly she won’t get suspicious about anything.” He almost scoffed and shook his head, “Yesterday she borrowed my wallet to pay off for something on a website or something and she didn’t even question the picture I had in my wallet.”
“Picture?” You quivered your eyebrow confused but before he could explain any further the doors opened to the penthouse apartment.
“Morning sunshines!” Holly exclaimed happily and full of energy. She clearly didn’t look like someone who had just put a messy bun on the top of her head after just getting out of bed.
“Morning.” You mumbled with your mouth full of yogurt but swallowed it quickly when you saw Ashton come in as well.
“Look who I found at the elevator.” He said with a sarcastic smile and it became wider when he got eye contact with Holly again.
It was funny because Ashton was always super sarcastic with Holly but she never took notice. She was always smiling around and using Ashton for the benefit and being the professional he was, he accepted everything. But it wasn’t without a roll in the eye or a huge sigh coming from his lips almost in frustration.
“I hear we’re going shopping!” She excitedly said and placed her bags on the top of the kitchen counter. How did she manage to walk around with three and they were all filled?
“We are?” Ashton asked with a quivered eyebrow and looked over at you in confusion.
You opened your mouth not really knowing how to save it. You didn’t understand why they had to tag along in the first place but Luke was very convincing and he had also promised to buy some baby clothes for you.
It was almost a win win situation. You would get the chance to look for baby clothes and he could get some publicy. If people asked, he could easily say that he was just out helping out his assistant because he was helpful with all his employees.
“Yeah, Luke and Holly are also going.” You managed to say, it wasn’t helping on Ashton’s face because it fell more.
“Isn’t that great? Guess who’s gonna carry all my bags now.” Holly teasingly said and poked her finger into Ashton’s bicep, “It’s you darling.”
“How did I get this lucky?” Ashton mumbled with wide eyes but he seemed to soften up when he met your eyes.
It wasn’t something you really had the power to take decision over. You were after all workers for Luke so if he needed the help we had to go out and do something. It wouldn’t look weird after all.
It wasn’t the first time Luke had dragged you out on the busy streets of New York to go find clothes. He had once needed a second opinion and someone to make sure he made all his right choices that evening.
And with a security guard it wouldn’t look less weird. Luke had done that a couple of times and it most probably would be needed if there were a lot of people and you wouldn’t get the chance to get out of the mobbed crowd.
“I’ll just my wallet and we’ll be ready to go.” Luke mumbled and headed over to his desk where his computer and files were.
You threw the yogurt into the trashcan and placed the spoon in the sink. You usually took the time to clean after you but somehow being in a rush you ran over to grab your jacket and were ready to get out of the door.
Oh how you had no idea what to expect for today’s activities.
The streets were just like any other day. Filled with people and tourists either wanting to explore the city or heading for work. It was hard to walk properly without bumping into people but being so used to it you didn’t mind.
It was only because of the bump you had gotten much more protective. Everything that is close to just hit it carefully made you squirm because you were scared.
There was this one time where you had been resting on your side and you were almost too afraid you would do any harm for the baby. Now that it was a girl it was also much easier to talk to her as she but you still had to get used to it.
It was a nice feeling knowing what was growing inside of you. Every single morning you would wake up and the first thing you would do was to greet her. Just to make sure that you would start the day out with something good.
“So where do you wanna go first?” Ashton asked with a curious expression. You could tell he had expected the day to be something different and felt a little bit misplaced.
You were after all pretty used to Luke and Holly together now. It wasn’t that you had accepted their fucked relationship or understood anything that was going on but they had become manageable.
“It’s one word! Holly exclaimed and pointed a finger in the air, “Gucci!”
Ashton’s eyes widened in surprise when his arm was suddenly hooked around hers and he was dragged towards the fancy store with at least three other security guards standing by the door with crossed arms.
You looked up at Luke to see him have the same surprised expression. His jaw fell slightly it probably wasn’t the plan he had but since there wasn’t a sight of paparazzi anywhere he decided to go with it.
“Seems like she doesn’t need my credit card today.” He mumbled and ran a hand through his hair. He seemed a bit lost and so did you.
“You know Ashton hates her right?” You asked just to be sure and he nodded his head in agreement.
“But he’s professional enough to shut up about it and doesn’t say anything. That’s what I love about him.” He explained and you nodded your head in understanding.
Ashton was probably the most professional guy you knew. He rested so much in his personality and always treated people the right way. He treated people the way they deserved but still kept the respect and didn’t like making people sad.
“Let me show you something.” Luke suddenly said and you looked away from seeing Ashton’s shadow disappear into the store.
You didn’t know what he was hinting at but when he carefully hooked his arm around yours you followed his direction.
It wasn’t that far away from where you had been standing before and when you saw the large Babesta sign. At first you weren’t sure what it was because the name didn’t sound familiar but once you came inside your eyes widened.
The store was large yet there was so many things it was hard to see everything. You were the one to have planned looking for baby clothes but once you were in front of it you didn’t know what to do with yourself.
There was so much it was insane and the amount of color was hard to pick out from. Mostly had the pastel colors but it was just like you preferred and you stood for a moment frozen in your spot.
Luke sighed softly by the reaction and leaned over to grab a small catalog. The music playing from the speakers were quiet yet you could faintly recognize the sound of Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth.
“Where do you wanna start?” He asked, seeming pretty clueless himself.
You must have looked amusing for the workers behind the cashier because others were walking around either with a list or just having a nice time looking for clothes and preparing.
You and Luke on the other hand didn’t know where to go or what to buy. You weren’t even sure what size would be the best since this was the first time you had actually gone out to buy something for the baby.
“How about we start out with something simple and neutral?” You asked after consideration and headed towards white natural colors.
“Sure. T-shirts and bodystockings.” He nodded his head in agreement and looked between the clothes.
Your eyes widened in surprise yet you weren’t feeling that inside when you saw the prices. They were insane you couldn’t believe someone would pay that much for baby clothes but now it made sense why Luke had pulled you into the store.
“Luke I can’t pay for this.” You mumbled and shook your head in disbelief.
It wasn’t that you didn’t have the money but you thought it was insane. You could buy much more clothes for less money than this instead of paying for one thing where you could pay for four.
“You’re not paying.” He stated without looking, instead checking the fabric of a simple white bodystocking.
His tone was so casual and calm you almost believed he didn’t hear what he was saying. But he meant his words. He didn’t care how much you would find in this store he would pay anything without a blink in the eye.
“I don’t want to take advantage of that.” You mumbled a bit confused, you didn’t want to go around and pick everything from the shelves.
“Only pick the stuff you want then. I’m not pressuring you into anything but I think we both know well enough that we can’t have the baby only being carried around in used hospital gowns.”
You nodded your head understanding and took a look around.
It had so much stuff where did you want to start? Luke had already grabbed some stuff here and there you could tell he was the true shopper of the two of you.
You had never really had the opportunity to do this and take everything you wanted. He did it without hesitation and was almost in his own state of mind because sometimes he just walked away when he spotted something else.
“I’ve always told myself if I ever had to get a kid I would prefer to buy clothes here. Not that I ever planned that in my life but I still had to make sure my child would wear something that would be more worth it than the clothes department in Target.”
You rolled your eyes by his words but smiled. Just the fact that he still remembered the store was a nice thing and you assumed he’d probably google it before you went out on the small spree.
“So you were prepared?” You quivered an eyebrow but with a teasing smile on your face.
“I didn’t say that.” He laughed and looked down at the clothes, “I’m just saying that I always take a look in the future before something happens. It makes me prepared for everything so I always can achieve for the best.”
You nodded your head in agreement but still had a secret smile on your face almost as if you didn’t believe him.
He rolled his eyes this time and picked out another shirt he had found. He had a good sense of style and all the clothes he had picked out pretty much seemed to match together.
“Hello my name is Averie, if you need any help I’m here to assist.” A woman in her late thirties came up from your behind and you looked over your shoulder.
“Where do you keep your baby shoes in the smallest sizes?” Luke asked before you could even say anything and Averie leaned her body over some of the clothes to point.
“Second aisle to the left. We’ve got everything from Converse to Leather.” She explained and Luke nodded his head in satisfaction of her words and help of direction.
“If you’d like we also serve service and tea. Time can tick slowly in the store with so much to look at it.” She explained and you hesitantly looked up at Luke not knowing what to answer.
“We will manage.” He explained and she nodded her head in understanding.
“Just call if you need anything Mr. & Mrs.”
“Oh we’re not together.” You were both quick to answer in unison and a blush came to your cheeks.
This was the first time you had been mistaken for being a couple. It sounded too weird for you and you could tell Luke was on the edge of laughing in disbelief. He also seemed surprised that she didn’t regocnize him for who he was but he decided to stay quiet.
“Oh my apologizes.” She nodded her head also blushing a bit in embarassment and stepped away so she didn’t have to deal with the sudden tension.
“You should feel honored.” Luke said with lifted eyebrows and you furrowed yours.
“Why?” You asked confused and headed towards the shoes he had been searching for.
“Being compared to dating me? Not only dating but being married. That must have been the best score of your life.”
“Really?” You asked in disbelief and crossed your arms, “I think world war three would have been caused if the two of us got married.”
“What a comparassment.” He commented and stopped when he was right in front of the many shoes.
“You don’t think that?” You asked with a bit of confusion but the both of you knew it was true.
Trying to imagine being married to Luke would probably be the last thing in your imagination. You’d rather date the entire cast of The Walking Dead than Luke and also you couldn’t imagine the two of you being together over all.
You were fine as colleagues, as the boss and the assistant. You knew each other very well from that and it was easy to figure out you’d never actually be together.
“I think it would trigger the forth and fifth as well.” He said with a wink and made you giggle a little bit.
The two of you were disagreeing on many things but this one was always something you had the same agreement with.
Luke leaned down to grab a pair of black converse and took a close look. He needed to make sure that they were actually real and not something fake because that would be the same as wearing a plastic bag over his head.
“You know they can’t really wear shoes until they are a few months old? Not to mention they can’t even walk at first so it might be kind of pointless to buy shoes already?”
“Nonsense.” He was quick to comment and looked down at you.
“My father bought me my first pair of Gucci Lace-Up Shoes before I could even take my first step. It’s a part of the family to have leather shoes as infants because we keep them for the rest of your lives. I’m sure I can still find them in my closet if I make Patrick look for me.”
“But you are aware that we’re having a girl? I’m not sure if she will fancy a pair of leather shoes at the age of two months.” You commented with a raised eyebrow and crossed your arms.
He was silent or a moment and looked down at the new leather shoes he had in his hands. He only had brothers and it had been passed by in the family but he had forgotten for a moment that it was a girl.
“Maybe leather shoes will be her thing? If she’s anything like her dad she will love them more than ever.” He commented and you laughed quietly by his words.
“If she’s anything like her dad I will have struggles every single day.”
His eyes widened in surprise by your words but he could tell that you were only joking. You had gotten to the point in your ‘friendship’ where it was hard to tell what was actually an insult or just a sarcastic remark.
You giggled and headed towards some of the other shoes. You didn’t understand his obsession with it but now that you were standing here you decided to have a look.
“Actually I forgot to tell you something.” He suddenly announced but had his head concentrated in a pair of shoes and the price.
“What’s up?” You asked with a hint of suspicious. You never knew what he had to say and sometimes you didn’t like that tone of his voice.
“So I was having this plan. I know you and Holly aren’t really the closest pair of friends and since you’re kind of living with the two of us because Holly is always around in the penthouse apartment I had this idea that could bring you closer together.”
“What kind of idea?” You asked with a lower tone. You didn’t like where this was going. Of course it was a nice thought that he had something in mind that could make you tolerate her better but still.
“We’re going to a lake house this weekend. It’s something I own in Canada and I visit it often when I need to take my mind off. There’s so many things happening at once here in New York and we can never properly relax so I thought that would be the best place for a little relaxing trip.”
“Relaxing?” You asked and put extra pressure on the word. You couldn’t imagine a whole weekend trapped with Luke and Holly without anywhere to go would sound like the most relaxing thing ever.
“You can bring someone along if you’d like. I don’t care who it is just as long as you feel comfortable. So we don’t just drown in money talk and fake plastic surgery.”
You appreciated that he allowed you to bring someone along but still? You weren’t even sure if you wanted to get to know Holly was she really supposed to have such a big part in your life?
Besides, she was a person that showed who she was just by speaking.
“I want Ashton with me.” You were quick to answer after thinking and he nodded his head.
“Ashton is fine. I was already considering bringing him along because I will take one of the diamonds with me.”
“Good. And I want my own bedroom.” You nodded your head in agreement and pointed a finger at him.
“You can have three.” He said without hesitation and laughed quietly by your reaction.
That was pretty much confirmation and suddenly the weekend coming up was planned. Not that you had anything else to do you had only planned to go read some pregnancy books but it seemed like that had to be done in Canada now.
You slightly softly and stopped in track when you looked down at the long line of shoes.
They all seemed pretty much the same they all had the same shades of color expect one pair. In fact it stood out from everything because you could tell they were still leather but a whole different color than the rest.
Luke had also noticed your silence and followed your eyes. When you started to walk slowly towards them he followed you behind and took a look when you grabbed the pair.
The shoes were probably the smallest you had ever seen. They could just fill your hand and the color was light beige. They were insanely cute and had a small fabric that made it look like a flower on the end of the shoes.
“It’s made by Ralph Lauren.” Luke was quick to notice and looked at the price.
They were Ballet Style Slippers and the price was almost 300 dollars. It was so insanely much you were shocked to see but you still hadn’t picked out any other thing in the store and you looked up at Luke.
“Would it be too much to ask for?” Your voice was almost quiet and too afraid to ask.
“No they are worth everything. They’re beautiful.” He mumbled while observing them.
You could tell he was hooked just by the sight. He loved them already and there was no doubt that he wanted to buy them for his daughter. She didn’t deserve anything less beautiful than that.
“They’re the perfect leather shoes for a girl.” He nodded his head in confirm and was almost too afraid to touch them.
You smiled softly by his reaction and asked if you could hold the clothes so he could hold them. He almost had to take out a tissue and clean his hands before touching that was how much he saw the worth in them.
“Should we go pay now? I think we’ve got everything we need.” You asked after watching him zone out for a full minute.
“Yes, of course. We should probably go save Ashton from drowning in Gucci.” He nodded his head in agreement and took a look at the shoes again.
The reaction was almost better than when he got his diamonds.
You smiled in agreement and nodded for him to walk towards the check out. He was completely focused on the shoes he didn’t notice you take a look at what he had picked out for the baby.
They all seemed pretty much the same, a few bodystockings that were either light pink or beige but one body stocking stood out from the rest of it. The text on the fabric was what stood out from everything else.
“Daddy is the CEO but mommy is the boss.”
You looked up with your lips parted. He was standing with his side facing you but his eyes were too focused to notice you had seen the fabric he had picked out.
You looked back at the bodystocking not knowing what to say. But you didn’t need to because the smiling on your face told more than a thousand words in the whole world.
