[The footsteps echoed through the chamber, 2 people breathing heavily yet only one pair of shoes clicking on the cement floor. The rushing water and loud yelling of people giving chase are the only thing Agents Foxglove and Catalyst could hear after a failed mission and a hasty retreat into the sewers which had gotten the latter injured.]

"Catalyst, don't worry. We'll get away from them and then we can deal with those injuries of yours. Just try not to yell out, for both of our lives."

[Catalyst, clasped in Foxglove's arms, clutching their blood soaked shirt, didn't say anything but nodded in acknowledgement.]

"Alright, Oh son of a-!" [A revolver is pulled and a single shot is fired, resonating through the chamber as the pursuer falls to the ground in a grunt, clutching their left kneecap]

"They'll be all over us now, just hold on, there's an exit door." [There's a creak of rusty hinges, a door slamming, and the sound of something being pushed in front of the door. The 2 have ended up in an alley way, sopping wet and out of breath.]

*Another flash of thunder and lightning. The rain howls.*
