♭ - grip my muse’s jaw to make them look yours in the eye
[ From: [x]]He’d be the first to admit that he hadn’t beenlistening. But then again, when there was a fight about to break out, of course his attention would be drawn toit. The wild gestures, the loud curses, the startled gasp when one went toofar. Julian lived for the drama; in another life, he would have been theperfect actor for the stage. Yet, he still found it in himself to feel surprisedwhen his jaw was suddenly gripped and his head forced to turn. Whiskey hueswidened in surprise, a crimson blush rushing to his cheeks, yet a smirk stillmanaged to pull through.
“Dorogoy, ifyou wished for my attention, all you needed to do was say my name.”
He flirted easily, though he’d never admit he secretlyloved the feeling of being… Controlled.

Sin Anon here. So, all I have to do is ask, and you'll run through the streets of Vesuvia naked?
“You say this as if I haven’t done such a thing before.…It will take more than simply asking.”

The words are both unfamiliar and unexpected, and she had absolutely no idea how to react to them. How should she? No one had ever said those words to her before, the blonde doesn't have any sort of parameters when it comes to what to do or say or how to act. She'd gone years without hearing them, without a father figure to guide her and help her and love her. Mouth opens and closes a few times as she tries to figure out how to respond.
“        I ― Oh. Um.        ”        Yep, there was nothing. Just jokes that were very much so not appropriate for the situation.        “        . . . Thank you. I think. Is that what you're supposed to say, cause I don't have any other ideas.        ”

" Are you certain your remedies will be effective, doctor...? " (plague ask)
[ Prompt can be found here: x ]
“I’ll be honest with you,” Julian began, dragging a hand through his hair. He looked exhausted, the bruises under his more pronounced than they ever had been. When was the last time he’d slept? “I have absolutely no idea. The plague is worse than I though it was, and I’m not even sure if there could be any medicine that could remedy it fast enough.”
Aside from fire, that is. But he wouldn’t say that aloud- no, that was far too grotesque of a suggestion, despite how the Lazaret was already working around the clock to be rid of the dead.
“All we can do is hope and pray, nemnogo odin.”[translation: little one]

Perhaps he should have thought over what he was goingto say before letting the words spill from his mouth. Then again, when did heever bother with that? The Count has asked for his opinion, and Julian hadgiven it- a bit too bluntly, apparently. But he wasn’t about to lie and say that his arm could have beensaved. It had been mangled beyond repair, and quite frankly, Julian had neverseen anything more horrifying in his life. That is, until he began to see theplague victims up close and personal.
“My lord, why are you bringing up the past now? It hasbeen years since that event, and-”
He wasn’t able to finish his sentence as the feelingof cold metal closing around the back of his neck stole his words from him.Swallowing harshly, he felt prickles of both fear and excitement course throughhis veins. Slowly, he raised his hands, palms outward; a sign of peace, of himnot wanting to cause further harm. His voice wavered as he spoke.
“I apologizefor speaking out of term, my lord.”
