dare i say that they made dennis finally reach a place with mac where he's comfortable about going back to their old dynamic only for him to find out a couple episodes later that mac has a boyfriend now. i needed the switch in the dynamic, instead of mac being obsessed over dennis its dennis' turn now while mac seems like he's moving on and dennis sees him slipping away

no because im still reeling over “if you’re johnny, then who’s dennis?” like mac couldnt fathom being catfished but for a split second was almost ready to accept that dennis was johnny if he was the johnny that mac knew, and dennis was someone else. theres no way dennis could have been manipulating me this whole time, that doesn’t make sense because i know johnny and i love him. dennis wasn’t pretending to be my johnny whom i love, that’s ridiculous. but just maybe i am prepared to accept that “dennis” was actually johnny the whole time. my johnny who i love and know so well and who loves me and wouldnt you know it has also secretly been my best friend and roommate for half my life and i can forget all about dennis who hurt me and manipulated me and will never love me, and be happy with johnny instead
