Third Leg?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: after spending time with Minho after exams, you remember something he said in the heat of the moment about your packmate Jeongin. You decide to confront Jeongin about it, because after all, what's the worst that can happen?
Warnings: sex. uh. poly ot8 and reader. more omegaverse. continuation of Dibs but can be read on its own. breeding kink?? manhandling ??? reader is lowkey a brat, uh. Jeongin's dick is huge. I actually don't know what else to add, so let me know if there's another thing I should put in here. reader is an omega but gender and genitals are unspecified as always
notes: I got possesed by a demon when I was writing this. I don't even have a breeding kink. Also if the title is bad, no. this is my first time writing Jeongin, so if it's bad no it isn't. this is his very late birthday present. Happy Birthday, King.
to read: Dibs
In most things, you try to be reasonable. It does not come easy to you, it doesn’t come easy to most people. You wish your pack would be more understanding of this sometimes. You know that’s an unfair thing to say about, to say to, your pack, but you can’t help it. You really don’t want to, you really can’t spend Jeongin’s rut with him. It’s the middle of the semester, you’re still convinced the Luna doesn’t like you, and you’d prefer not to think too hard about your relationship with anyone else. You’re comfortable with Hyunjin and you’re comfortable with Changbin. Everyone else, you think, couldn’t care whether you were around or not.
“That’s unfair to think, dove. Of course they want you around. We want you around.” Hyunjin says, he’s holding your face in his palms in a way that he often does when he talks to you.
“I know, but I really don’t feel comfortable yet, it’s only been a couple months, and it took me so long to get used to being around you.” You huff and you can feel a heat forming behind your nose. “I just really- I don’t want to spend Innie’s rut with him. I can’t.” Hyunjin hums affirmingly and swipes a finger under your eye to cut off a tear, but otherwise makes no comment about your crying.
“You want them to stop pushing,” he says, and you nod at him.
“I want them to stop pushing.”
“Okay. I’ll see what I can do. But, please don’t say we don’t want you around. We do. At the very least, I do. Okay?” You nod at him and smile slightly as he kisses your nose, it turns into a laugh when he gets insistent, peppering kisses all over your face until you’re shoving him off and smiling wide at him.
-
“So.” You have a spoonful of cereal halfway to your mouth when he comes into the kitchen. In all reality, you aren’t supposed to be here. You only stopped by for a quick snack before you went to head into work, but then there was something at the shop so your boss told you to stay home. You’d intended to detour to the campus library instead to catch up on some homework, but between your first and second bowls of cereal you had switched out of your outside clothes to sweats and an old t-shirt, and now you’re standing three feet away from Yang Jeongin.
“So?” You set the bowl down on the counter.
“You don’t want to spend my rut with me.” You draw your shoulders up to your ears defensively. You think something in your scent must turn sour because you see Jeongin wrinkle his nose.
“Wait, I didn’t mean it like that. I’m not mad or anything. I just wanted to know if you’d tell  me why.” You pause, picking up your spoon and stirring the milk around the bowl, listening to the clink clink clink of metal on ceramic. Something about his question confuses you.
“If?”
“Yeah, ‘if.’ I don’t want to pressure you for information if you’re not ready to give it. If you’re uncomfortable with spending my rut with me, that’s fine. If you don’t want to tell me you’re uncomfortable, that’s also fine.”
“I don’t want to tell you why.” He shrugs. You’re surprised at how easy that was.
“That’s fine. I have another question though.”
“Hmm?”
“Could we hangout, or something? Before you steer clear of the house for a week and a half, I want to spend time with you. Unfortunately,” he rolls his eyes, “I’ve come to enjoy your company and if I don’t spend some time with you I might do something drastic.” He’s slowly approaching you now, crowding you against the counter. He’s given you plenty of time to walk away or move, but you haven’t, so he continues.
“Drastic, you say.” He hums, taking your bowl and putting it in the sink, not bothering to rinse it out.
“Drastic like breaking every single door that separates the two of us just to make sure you’re safe.” He wraps his arms around your waist and rests his head on your shoulder, nose against your neck. His hair smells like baby powder, like his shampoo that you and Hyunjin sometimes steal. You can feel him shake with laughter when your scent changes with arousal as he gets in your space.
“You’re easy.” You hit his back slightly.
“You’re mean.”
“Will you hangout with me, though? I was mostly serious.”
“Yeah. Yeah, I’ll hangout with you.”
“Great,” he says, and you let out a small shriek as he drags you in the direction of his room. The door is halfway closed when he yells across the house.
“I call dibs until my rut starts!” You can hear the groans and complaints through his now shut door.
-
So, you spend time with him, both before and after his rut, and nobody comments on how annoying it is that you’re monopolizing his time like you thought they would. There’s a point where Hyunjin interrupts you because he wants Jeongin’s dick in his mouth, and when you move to leave, they both start complaining. (You left anyway, not being ready for that just yet, but the idea made you feel warm regardless.)
You don’t get to spend much time with him after that though, because then you have Minho and exams flooding your vision and your senses, and while one of those things is enjoyable, the other isn’t and for two seconds you’d like your brain to be off. Just for two. That time comes and it’s as you’re waking up from your post-fuck nap with Minho that it hits you.
“You said Innie was talking about me during rut?”
“What? Sweetheart, we just woke up.” Minho is rubbing his eyes, smacking his mouth, and blinking cutely. You feel the urge to pinch his cheek but worry that would land you in hot water so you just poke it instead.
“Yes, I know, I know, but. You said Jeongin was talking about me during his rut.”
“Yes? Why do you sound so surprised? You’re our Omega after all.” You flush again at his casual claim on you, he keeps catching you off guard with it.
“He never mentioned it to me.” Minho yawns and slings his arm over your waist.
“You were busy, of course he didn’t mention it to you. Besides, you seemed so … hesitant to spend his rut with him in the first place that he probably didn’t want to mention it at all.” You frown, brows furrowing as you think about it. You move to get out of bed when Minho stops you.
“And where do you think you’re going?”
“To talk to Jeongin.”
“It’s too early for one, and for two. I have some things planned for us.” His hand wanders up your shirt.
“But-”
“I thought you had learned enough to stop arguing with me? Does your mommy need to teach you a lesson?” He says this, but he’s not holding you back. If you wanted to, you could leave this bed and camp outside of Jeongin’s door until he woke up. But you don’t. You don’t even know what you want to say to him, and Minho is tracing soft circles on your skin and you’re struck with undeniable want. You ease yourself back into bed.
“That’s my pretty Omega. So good for me, hmm?”
-
You don’t get to talk to Jeongin until several days later. You’re too busy sleeping like the dead for a day and a half, then Chan steals you away for a celebratory dinner date, then when you finally get the chance to talk to him, you walk into his room and find him and Yongbok making out, so you’ve had to curb the conversation for later, until now.
“Innie!” He’s slipping his shoes on.
“Yeah?” He never ties them, you notice, ties them once and then slips them on and off over and over again.
“Where are you going?”
“On a walk.”
“Great.” You walk over to him and shove his jacket off his shoulders, then kick at his feet until he takes his shoes back off, and start dragging him to his room.
“What.” He’s confused despite the fact that he’s the one who let it get this far.
“I want to talk to you.”
“Okay?” He sits down on his bed, patting the spot next to him so you can sit too.
“Minho mentioned that you talked about me during your rut.” It comes out of you in a rush. Jeongin’s face flushes red. He covers his face with his hands, his huge hands with their stupidly long fingers.
“Ah. Yes. I did. Are you upset?”
“Am I up- Am I upset?” You’re incredulous. “One of the hottest men I’ve ever seen and one of my Alphas wanted me during his rut and you think I’m upset?”
“Okay, to be fair. You didn’t seem too thrilled about the idea of my rut to begin with.”
“I was new to the pack!”
“You’d been with us for three months!”
“Like I said, new!” He huffs and knocks you onto your back, laying across you in the way you’ve seen the others do to him.
“Why did you come to talk to me about it?” You flush at his question and you can hear his little chuckle. The members joke that he learned how to be mischievous from Minho and Seungmin, and you’ve never seen it more than right now.
“Oh? I see.”
“Don’t be mean.”
“Minho hyung says you like when people are mean.”
“Minho said what?!”
“I’m kidding, he refused to tell us what you two got up to, but now I know that I’m not too far off.” You grab a pillow from behind your head and smack him with it. He moves himself until your noses are touching and smiles at you. You smile back and poke around his face until your finger lands in a dimple.
“You want me to fuck you, is that it?” His voice is soft, low, because of how close he is to your face and he smirks when your scent fills the room.
“You do?” You nod at him and he tuts.
“Minho’s taught you better than that.” You huff and pout at him. He laughs and kisses you.
“I’ll let you get away with it because you’re cute.” You beam at him and he smiles back.
He starts with kissing you, because of course he does. It’s soft and sweet and a little hesitant and it’s similar to the way you’ve seen him kiss Yongbok, but different from the way you’ve seen him kiss Seungmin and you’re struck with the realization that he sees you as something soft and precious. That he’ll hold you with the same amount of delicacy he uses to hold Felix and your heart stutters in your chest for a minute.
“Baby? What’s wrong?” He’s pulling away, looking at you with wide eyes as your scent changes. “Did I hurt you?” You shake your head at him, pulling him close for a hug for a minute as you calm yourself down.
You’ve never had a pack before, your culture has moved away from it. You had to move from your family for school and since then you’ve been relatively alone. It’s been a while since you’ve felt loved, and when you’re faced with the sheer amount of it the eight of them have to give it overwhelms you every time. He hasn’t hurt you, it’s the opposite.
“Nothing’s wrong.”
“Ah, I see. Hyungs’ said you might cry a little. That’s okay. Do you want to stop?” You shake your head at him, answering with a verbal “no” after he stares at you pointedly. You lean in to kiss him again and he responds with the same gentleness he did before and you can feel yourself slicking up in your pants. You hear him take a sharp inhale and then you feel his grip tighten where his hands were resting on the side of your face and neck.
“Jesus, I can see why hyung keeps you to himself all the time. You smell so fucking good.” He stops kissing you to start making out with your neck, you can feel him starting to scent you and you tug at him, whining.
“Innie-”
“Yeah, I know, but-” he cuts himself off with a groan and you can feel his hips press into yours and dear God.
“Is that your leg?”
“No.” You whine again. There’s no fucking way his dick is that big. You tell him so.
“Well. Prepare to eat your words because it is.”
You huff at him again, and really, he should spend less time around the more sarcastic pack members because his attitude is making your eye twitch. He sees it and smiles mischievously at you before landing a soft peck right below the same eye.
“I’d like to see how you handle Hannie or Seungmin hyung. They’re worse than I am.”
“They also probably move faster than you do.” He grumbles at you at that and gets to work undressing the two of you. He’s sliding his hoodie off when you’re filled with the urge to bite his biceps. They’ve gotten bigger since you’ve been introduced to him and you think it’s crazy because you hardly ever see him work out. Suddenly, there’s a large palm against your forehead and any forward movement you had started is quickly stopped.
“What are you doing?” You can feel your teeth click together as your mouth closes and you blink a couple times.
“Nothing.” He squints at you.
“You were going to bite me, weren’t you?”
“No.”
“You’re a liar!” You’re being manhandled now, and you refuse to go down without a fight. You grab a pillow and nail him in the face with it.
“I am not! I’ve never- don’t pull my hair- I’ve never lied!”
“You’re doing it right- why are your nails so fucking long- right now!”
“Nuh uh!”
“Did you just fucking- ow! What the hell?” You finally manage to get your teeth on his arm and it’s just as great as you imagined it would be. Your victory is incredibly short lived because between one second and the next Jeongin has you pinned to the bed. Your cheek is pressed against the mattress and he has your arm twisted in a way that’s mildly uncomfortable, but that’s overshadowed by how you can feel him pressed against you to keep you pinned. He’s all lean muscle and you can feel where his shoulders press against yours and where his cock is pressed against your ass and if you tilt your hips just right, you can feel him brush against your slick hole.
“Oh? Does my pretty Omega want something?” You can hear the laughter in his voice. You can also hear how it’s dropped three octaves and you can feel it rumbling from his chest. You can feel how his cock is starting to leak against your skin.
“Jeongin-”
“I think,” he grabs your other arm, pinning your wrists at the small of your back, “that if you want anything you should beg for it.”
“Innie, you’re not being fair-”
“I’m not being fair? You bit me. I have you pinned. If you want anything from me, you’re going to have to work for it.” You turn your head into the mattress and let out a small sob, wiggling a bit in Jeongin’s hold. His hands loosen on your wrists and he lifts his weight off of you enough that you could get out if you wanted to. Minho did this too, gave you signals with his body to let you know that it was okay to not want it, the problem is that you do. You like how Jeongin has you pinned, and you like the humiliation that’s going to come with begging for it.
He notices you haven’t moved and so his grip tightens on your wrists again. You feel the chuckle he lets out as he presses his weight down onto you again and you know your scent must be doing something because he inhales with his nose pressed straight against your neck.
“Get to begging, baby. I have all night.” You whine at that, wiggling and trying to push your hips back against his to fuck yourself onto his cock, but he pulls his hips back, readjusts until you couldn’t reach his cock unless you dislocated something and he laughs at you.
Jeongin does have all night, it turns out, because you spend a considerable amount of time with your forehead pressed into the mattress trying to will the shame that comes with wanting out of your body. At one point, he asks you if you’re alright, dropping the act for a bit and when you respond he resorts to taunting you.
He’s doing it now, taking his ridiculously large dick in his hand and gathering some of the slick that’s leaked between your legs to jerk it. You can hear the wet noises it’s making and you can’t help but think of how much louder it would be if he were actually fucking you. It turns out that your Alpha was thinking the same thing because he starts talking, and each word chips away at the lump in your throat.
“Fuck, you smell so good, baby. Your slick is so warm, I bet it’d be warmer if I got it straight from the source, yeah? What do you think? You’re leaking so much you’ve made a wet spot on the bed, maybe I should fuck that instead, since you wanna be stubborn.” You whine in response.
“No? You don’t want me to do that? I think I should. Or should I just finish on your back?” Your next answering whine is more of a wail.
“Oh, I see. You’re a little cumwhore is that it? Want me to come inside of you? Hmm? Get our Omega pregnant?” You moan this time, drooling onto the sheets. Jeongin grabs your head and turns it to the side so he can see you better, or so that you can see him and how he’s about to waste his cum on you instead of in you. The drool smears onto your cheek and you can feel your eyes start to well up with tears because you know he’s close.
“Please.” It escapes from you in a pathetic whimper and the hand that was stroking his cock pauses.
“What was that? I don’t think I heard you.” You know he did, but you also know that if you don’t repeat yourself and beg good enough he really will make good on his promise to finish on your back and leave you there.
“Innie, Jeonginnie, please. I want- I want-”
“Want what? Hmm? A slice of cake, a new Minecraft update?” You huff at his mocking, but it’s too wet to really hold any weight, and you can feel your lip wobbling, so you’re not surprised when what you say next is more of a sob than anything else.
“Your cock. Jeongin, Alpha, please. You said you wanted me during your rut, don’t you want me now?” It’s a low blow, and even through your desperation you know that, but you’ll do what it takes to get him to finally stick his huge dick in you.
“Oh, baby. I do. Don’t worry.” His fingers are searching for your entrance, stretching you out just enough for it to not burn too bad, but you’re so wet, and both of you are so needy, you know that you’ll just have to deal with the pain of not preparing for his stupid dick later because you want it now.
“Then,” he made the mistake of letting go of your wrists to grab your hip instead, and you ball your hands into fists and hit the bed in frustration, “why aren’t you fucking me?” He huffs a laugh.
“All that and you’re still giving me trouble? You’re lucky you’re cute, Omega. So lucky.” You start to kick your feet at him but you’re stopped by the fact that he’s slowly starting to push into you, making a home for himself inside your body and slowly forcing the breath from your lungs.
It burns, and you expected it to with how unprepared you were, but it feels good and you don’t care so that will have to be a later-you problem.
“Jesus, you feel so good, baby. Better than I imagined.” He starts a rough rhythm right off the bat, and you’re needy enough that it doesn’t bother you, besides, you’re pretty sure he was edging himself earlier, so he’s entitled to this.
“Felix hyung and I talked about it, you know. When I was in rut. You left.” The last part comes out as a soft growl, and he coughs to get himself in check before pressing a soft kiss between your shoulder blades.
“You left and I thought about how warm you’d feel inside. Felix wondered too, said he wanted to know how sweet you were.” You hear him chuckle. “Y’know I got him to come untouched from just talking about you, pretty baby?”
You gasp, letting out a shuddery moan at that, and you hear Jeongin laugh above you. You were already halfway to delirious with how good he was fucking you- hard enough to shake the bed and bang the headboard against the wall- but something about knowing that the pack wants you always makes you just that much wetter, always makes your head that much lighter, so you can’t help but clench down around his cock and get everything around you soaked with more of your slick.
“Jeonginnie, Alpha, I- please- I want to-”
“Yeah, yeah, go ahead, baby. I won’t make you beg for this one.” He presses himself down against your back, knocking your knees out from under you so you’re flat against the bed and have nowhere to go, nothing to do but take it.
“The next one, though. I make no promises.”
The new angle has you going dumber than you were before and you can feel Jeongin’s breath in puffs of hot air against your neck. You whine at him, moaning as you’re trapped underneath his body and when you come it’s with white spots dancing across your vision. You’re just coming down when you feel him start to pull out and you surprise both yourself and him with the growl that comes out of you.
“Yang Jeongin, so help me God if you do not come inside of me-” He shuts you up by doing just that, bullying his knot into you until it pops and rolling the two of you onto your sides so you’re not laying in the multiple spots of wet that have stained his sheets.
“You’re bossy.” It’s said against your hair while his stupidly big hands come up to massage the crick in your neck that’s finally made itself present. “How do you get away with that when you’re with Minho hyung?”
“I listen to him. Mostly.” He pinches you, you pinch back. You sit in silence for a minute.
“Was it good? Or, as good as you imagined?” You try not to sound insecure as you say it, but you know that you’ve probably missed the mark.
“Better. Way better.” He kisses the spot he was just massaging and winds his arm around your middle. “Nap time. You’ll need your energy when I get you back for being a little shit.”
“I wasn’t.” He scoffs at you.
“Yeah, sure. And my name is Chan.”
“Hi, Chan, how are you?”
“Cancel what I said earlier. The second we aren’t locked together anymore I’m kicking you out.” You laugh at him.

jeongin stirs awake when he feels you climb into bed beside him. he's already reaching out, moving in to bury his face in the crook of your neck when you push him back. you turn over to face him, and he feels you softly kiss his lips.
"happy birthday," you mumble, nose nuzzling against his own. it earns a smile from him, and you're all too eager to kiss it once more. "sorry to wake you."
he just chuckles, "it's okay," and cuddles in. his forehead presses against your neck, and he wraps his arms around you. "what time is it?"
"... late."
he peeks up and squints at the clock. it's almost two in the morning. what went late? your job? your ride? he'll have to ask later. you wrap your arms around him and hold him close, pressing a kiss against the side of his head. he lifts his head just enough that you can hear him: "good night."
"good night," you murmur back. your fingers are playing with the hair at the back of his neck but growing slower by the second. "i love you."
he pecks your neck one last time before settling in. "love you, too."

“It’s not that I haven’t wanted to… It just never happened.”
Jeongin was defending himself like his life depended on it. Not that he needed to, no one blamed him or thought it was weird— more of a pride thing on his end.
“You don’t have to explain yourself,” you crumpled the empty water bottle in your hand and turned to Jisung. Raising and bringing it down playfully onto the top of his head, Jisung didn’t run from the scolding. “Why’d you put him on the spot like that! What’s your dating history like then, hm?”
Jisung immediately skipped over to Jeongin to take him into an embrace while the younger attempted to escape. “Ew, hyung— get away! You’re sweaty!”
When he managed to catch him, Jisung rubbed his cheek into Jeongin’s shoulder, “don’t feel bad, Jeonginnie. I’ve kissed people, but don’t worry, it’s not that fun.” Jeongin looked at you with a face that begged for mercy but not attempting to push him away.
“He’s lying, kissing is really fun,” Hyunjin chimed in and took a seat the open space beside you. “Kissing me is even more fun. C’mon Y/N’ie, just one?” He shoulder bumped you and puckered his lips.
“Kiss each other.” With that, you excuse yourself to the bathroom, only to come back minutes later to find Jisung pinning Hyunjin to the floor trying to take your words literally. You turned around and left again before witnessing anything that’ll make your eyes burst into flames.

What was probably hours had passed and everyone since forgotten about what had been said in the practice room, entirely too preoccupied with other things. Like singing lessons, for example. The session just didn’t go as you had hoped, that one high note was kicking your ass. As you walked through the corridor towards the exit, you could hear a soft voice from another occupied room.
Peaking through the small sliver of window, Jeongin was sat alone in the tiny confined space. You knocked twice before letting yourself in. He wasn’t startled, but surprised to see you, though the happy expression he wore quickly changed to something more melancholic.
“You’re still here? I thought your lessons ended an hour ago?” You stood in the door frame not wanting to invade too much of his space. Jeongin was always emotionally delicate, though he put up a hard shelled front.
“Yeah, just wanted some quiet before going home.” He twiddled his fingers, mind clearly not in the same room.
“Okay, wanna head back together? I can wait for you, I’ll grab us something at the convenience store.”
“Actually, can you come in?”
You closed the door behind you and sat in the spare chair. “Are you okay?”
He hated talking about his feelings, let alone things as personal as what Jisung had brought up earlier today about kissing. Jeongin has no idea how to go about it. He can’t articulate that he thinks you’re so pretty and that the way your nose crinkles when you laugh is adorable. It’s hard to put into words that he’s never kissed anyone because he didn’t want to waste his first with someone temporary because, “I only get one.”
Your eyebrow raised, “one what?”
His voice caught in his throat, hardly able to push the words past his lips, “one first kiss.”
“Are you still thinking about what Jisung said earlier? It’s nothing to feel bad about.”
Jeongin fidgeted a second longer before deciding to bite the bullet. “Take it. I don’t want it anymore.”
Fuck, he scared you. You’re looking at him like he has two heads and is speaking in tongues. “When you say it like that, I don’t want you to jump into things just because everyone else does. Don’t rush—“
“I’m not rushing. Like, the total opposite,” he sat on the edge of his seat and that much closer to you. “There have been people who wanted to kiss me, and I’ve wanted to kiss them. But I felt like I couldn’t? If I’m going to kiss someone, I want it to stick. Those people, they were temporary and I knew that, it wouldn’t have been fair to them. Now, I’ve been putting it off for so long that I think it’s not even an option anymore. But… then I look at you, talk to you, exist around you. It feels, for lack of a better word, right?”
At a complete loss for words, how have you not crumbled around him earlier? Let alone noticed he felt that way? You sat still with your lip between your teeth, running through all the possibilities that could follow if you were to go through with what he’s asking for. There was the fact that you already kissed one of them— briefly recalling your stolen moment with Felix— and that Jeongin hasn’t shied away from complementing you when he could or being all together boyfriendly. Even if you didn’t think of dating him, what harm could kissing him really do? If anything, doing it will satiate that need for the both of you, then close that chapter.
“Okay, but don’t tell Hyunjin. It’ll make him jealous.”
“More than when you kissed Felix?”
“How do you know that?!”
“I live with him?” He said it as if you were the stupid one to believe none of them would find out. Case in point.
You sighed, “yes, more than that time.”
As you moved and got more comfortable, he copied in sitting up straight and puckering his lips. “What’re you doing?”
“Getting ready to kiss you?” You rolled your eyes.
Jeongin came from a good place, even if he was entirely clueless. You suppose he was just parroting every time Jisung exaggeratedly tried to kiss the next nearest person. It was kind of endearing, a little geeky, but heartwarming nonetheless.
Putting your hands on his shoulders, you pushed them down to get him to relax. Then scooting your chair closer to his, you spread his knees to let your own take up that space. Jeongin let you maneuver him however you pleased, breath hitching as you stole his hands to place them lightly on the tops of your thighs. His hands were huge, not new information, but definitely a new feeling now that he was touching you. He was on the taller side, broader shoulders and probably able to wrap around your entire body if you hugged him properly. All those thoughts briefly swam around your brain just from the image of his hands on your thighs.
Jeongin was felt as though he was sweating bullets, but still immensely excited. Physical touch wasn’t his most favorite thing in the world, but he enjoyed it when it was you. These small, lingering touches, like where his hands were now, he probably enjoyed it more than he should.
“I’m going to put my hands on your neck, is that okay?” Jeongin nodded immediately, holding his breath. The warmth of your palms on his pulses made him shiver. “Don’t over think it. Kisses don’t need to be aggressive, they also don’t have to be too gentle. Just find a balance, not every person you kiss will want the same thing.” He nodded and absorbed every word that dripped from your perfectly plush lips. At some point he almost stopped listening and focused on your lips all together.
“What do you like?” He blurted out nervously. You giggled, oh so beautifully.
“We’ll get there,” your fingers traced back to comb through the hair at the back of his head teasingly, Jeongin almost fully leaned into it like a puppy. “Be calm. All the time in the world.”
Jeongin’s hands lightly kneaded the flesh of your thighs in anticipation, in need and desperation and longing to just feel your lips on his for the first time. He didn’t realize you were slowly drawing in closer and closer, then he could feel your breath fanning across his mouth and suddenly all the air was sucked from his lungs. “Make sure they want this as much as you. Look into their eyes, hold them tenderly, then ask. Can I kiss you?”
Glassy, watered over with all the stars staring back at you, “please.”
“That’s not a confirmation.” You were so close that the heat radiated off your body made Jeongin overheat in the best way possible.
“Yes, please kiss me.”
You were slow to press your lips to his, whereas as soon as the contact was made, Jeongin leaned further into you, almost shoving you out of your chair. Quick to push him back, you held his neck a little tighter and reined him in. Taking the hint, he put his excitement into his hands that now squeezed your thighs tighter and tighter, not that it hurt. His lips softened more, less eager but just as excited, he followed your lead.
The simple peck ended far too quickly for his liking, chasing as you pulled away. “No, no, more please.”
He moved to grip the bottom of your chair and tug the entire thing closer with the scrape of the legs on the floor echoing with a screech. Now you had nowhere to go, further trapped between his legs where you’d put yourself and Jeongin now reaching for your waist with one hand and the other cupping your jaw. And you didn’t hate it. Actually, you loved it. Getting attention from the one person that hates giving or receiving attention feels so rewarding, which is why you let him take what he wanted.
Long fingers threaded through your hair and tugged you to meet his lips half way, you fell forward into him and let your arms wrap around his neck. For his first time kissing, he was surprisingly well versed. Everything you’ve told him up until now he applied in his rather scattered yet charming kissing technique. He was everywhere all at once and it made your brain fuzzy.
Close lipped, simple, safe, eager, yearning, wanting, warm, fervorous, you didn’t want to let go almost as much as he did. Jeongin lightly whined when you pulled away, chasing after you again and keeping your upper body pinned to his. You hadn’t realized that your knees were pressing against his pelvis until you leaned a little back and he softly whimpered one more time.
“I don’t think you really needed kissing lessons.” He shrugged, smug. “Did you just wanna kiss me?” Another shrug and a crooked smile. “You little shit.”
“Don’t worry, I don’t kiss and tell.” You couldn’t tell if he lied, but truthfully you didn’t care, it didn’t matter.
Rolling your eyes again, he leaned in for a soft peck, molding your lips together sweetly, honey like moans being swapped between mouths.
That is, until the door to the vocal room was being burst open. You jumped in Jeongin’s hold, the both of you looking at who had just ruined your lovely moment.
“Oh, come on! Jeongin?! That is so not fair!” Hyunjin took up most of the doorway with Jisung peaking on his tiptoes over his shoulder.
A sigh fell from your mouth, patting Jeongin’s shoulders and reluctantly slipping from his grasp. He sat still, shriveling into the backrest of the chair as you gathered your stuff. “Aren’t you coming?” You asked him. Sheepish, he scratched the back of his head and pulled the hem of his shirt lower. “Nevermind, see you tomorrow, Jeonginnie.” He avoided eye contact again as you ruffled his hair and pushed past Hyunjin and Jisung.
The two followed behind you, bombarding you with question after question, mostly about how good the kiss with Jeongin was. Hyunjin was dramatically livid, nothing out of the usual, storming ahead of you and Jisung down the stairs to head home.
Jisung lightly pulled you back to a stop, curious eyes looking at you. “What is it?”
“I— I know I joke about kissing, said it’s not that fun and everything but…” he trailed off as though he couldn’t trust the words that he truly wanted to say. You waited patiently until he could articulate himself. “Can I be next?”

Imagine
Jeongin is your roommate, actually there was nothing between you two. But when it come to him wearing glasses, its just something else. It brings the dirtiest images of this situation. you cannot let this opportunity slip anymore; youre riding jeongin, praising him, kissing and nibbing on his skin. He is not understanding anything and dont know how it even started
-🤡
🏷️ fingering, oral (f) implied, mentions of perv!jeongin
with his glasses askew, his hair mussed and purple bruises decorating his collarbones jeongin’s a living vision of debauchery.
you’re seated in his lap and he doesn’t know where to put his hands. your skirt has ridden up so high he can almost see your lace thong. he knows you’re wearing the black one with the little bow on the front; he’d watched you fish it out of the dryer earlier and had made a mental note to pocket it later.
somewhere between then and now you’d come home from the club and pounced. it’d happened so fast jeongin’s brain is still struggling to catch up. it doesn’t help that most of his blood is rushing south.
“these fucking glasses,” you mutter between sharp nips at his skin. it hurts more than he’d like but he doesn’t dare to stop you. doesn’t want you to even if he should know better. he can’t ruin things. not with you.
“you’re drunk,” he protests weakly, “we shouldn’t —”
“shut up, i’ve only had three drinks,” you push at his shoulders. your strength surprises him. it also turns him on, which isn’t helping. neither are the words you utter next:
“yang jeongin, listen to me. i need you to fuck me. right now.”
never in a million years did he expect to hear those words coming from you. he stares at your face, searching it for any signs of trickery. this has to be a prank. it’s either that or he’s dreaming.
“what about jisung?”
jeongin’s not sure why he asks. he doesn’t give a shit about jisung.
“what about who,” you scoff and roll your eyes. jisung is the guy you’d been dating for the past couple weeks. ‘dating’ is a big word; it’d been more fucking than dating, with very little room for any conversation. it probably wouldn’t have worked out anyway. “he left with minho’s sister.”
it all makes sense to him now. you’re horny, and jisung left you high and dry. jeongin pushes the bitter taste of being used as a rebound away and tentatively puts his hands on top of your bare thighs. this might be his only chance.
“c’mon, innie, don’t be shy,” you giggle. why do you have to be so cute even when you’re teasing him? “i know you want me.”
he lets his gaze drift from your eyes to your mouth. fuck, you have no idea how badly he wants you.
“the walls are thin, y’know. i can hear you moaning my name at night.”
his eyes snap back up, feline eyes now wide and rounded, his ears turning the brightest shade of pink you’ve ever seen. you giggle again and grind your hips against his. jeongin’s so hard he’s sure he’s going to explode if you keep doing that. somehow the thought of you knowing about his little crush is more enticing than embarrassing. or maybe today’s the day he discovers he’s got a thing for humiliation. he realizes he doesn’t care. not when your skin is hot underneath his palms and you’re making the neediest little noises.
“i need your fucking hands. the amount of times i’ve fantasized about these long fingers…”
jeongin swallows hard. you’ve thought about him too?
he tightens his grip on your thighs and his mouth finds yours easily. the kiss is hungry and eager, more teeth and tongue than necessary as you lick into his mouth like you want to devour him. the low moan he lets out only seems to spur you on.
encouraged by your enthusiasm jeongin pushes your sodden underwear to the side and teases your slit with two fingers. he grins when he feels how soaked you are. “all this because of some glasses?”
you’re not laughing anymore, jaw going slack and eyes rolling back when he finds your clit. “down,” you tug at his shoulders and clamber off his lap. he lets you maneuver him into position, reclining on the couch with your thighs on both sides of his head. “the answer is you, you idiot. but you can keep the glasses on.”

•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
You grab the wine bottle to fill your glass again but you realize that it’s empty. Only a single drop makes it in your glass, and you stare at it in despair.
“Innie, how the fuck is this bottle empty? We just opened it!”
Your roommate blinks at you, his eyes going wide as you shake the empty bottle in front of his eyes. He pushes his glasses up on his nose. His bleached hair is a tangled mess on his head, his cheeks red from the booze.
“What the fuck,” he whispers, grabbing the bottle from your hand. He turns it upside down over his glass, like he wants to test it for himself, but nothing comes out. Not even a single drop. “What the fuck.”
He frowns, licks his lips. You are staring at him. At his lips.
“There’s only one explanation, Y/N,” Jeongin says, putting down the bottle beside you. He waves his index at you, so you lean in closer to him. “We must’ve drank it all.”
For some reason, this is the funniest thing you have ever heard and you burst out laughing. Your head ends up against Jeongin’s shoulder, and he wraps his arms around you, his laugh bursting out from his lungs. It’s loud, uncontrolled, and it mixes with yours perfectly.
You are both sitting on the floor of your living room, watching a drama you haven’t paid any attention to for more than a hour, eating snacks. It’s your usual Wednesday night ritual, except this time Jeongin decided to open a bottle of wine to celebrate a good grade he got - you drank it so quickly you had to open another, and now the two bottles were empty.
Now both of you are drunk. You’ve seen each other drunk multiple times before, but it’s the first time it’s just the two of you. You’re not nervous about it - you trust Jeongin completely, he’s a reliable roommate and a good friend of yours. You do not know each other that well, so you were nervous at first about sharing the space - but you had nowhere else to go and Jeongin was a good guy. You got along more than fine, getting to know each other as the weeks went by. He made you laugh a lot. You shared similar interests. He did his dishes and always left the bathroom clean.
He was also really fucking handsome, but that hadn’t been a problem for you until now. Because as you look up, your laughter finally dying down after long minutes, your face is inches away from his and his lips look extremely inviting.
Jeongin is still holding you in his arms, staring down at your parted mouth. Your lips are red from the wine, looking plump and soft, and he’s been dying to know what you taste like. Just a few nights ago he heard you masturbating in your room and he thought he’d cum on the spot. He really wanted to respect you, not to cross the boundaries of your relationship as roommates and make your living situation difficult, but you made it hard. You were just so attractive. Exactly his type. With your tits poking out from under your shirts when you didn’t wear a bra, that short skirt you liked to wear when you went out, the lip gloss that always made him think about pinning you against the wall and making out until none of you could stand straight.
He doesn’t want to think about you this way, but he can’t help it. Neither can you.
But you’re drunk and you don’t want to care. Neither does he.
“Innie?”
“Hm?”
“You’re staring at my boobs.”
He looks up in surprise. When he meets your gaze, and realizes you’re smiling amusingly, Jeongin grins and starts to chuckle.
“Sorry.”
“You like my tits?”
He licks his lips again. “Yeah.”
“You want to fuck them?”
He blinks, but his smile doesn’t go away. You love the way it takes up half of his face, that it always seems so sincere. Except this smile seems a little different. It’s amused, it’s bright, but it’s also mischievous, and it makes you a little too horny.
His hand pushes a strand of hair away from your face. “My pretty little roommate… I’ll put my cock anywhere you want me to.”
You clench at the words, letting out an audible moan. Jeongin chuckles, taking your chin between his long fingers.
“Are you already wet, pet? I haven’t even touched you…”
You lick your lips and he follows your tongue with his eyes. His stare is dark. “I want your cock between my tits, Innie.”
He mutters a fuck before he pushes his lips against yours. The kiss is messy, your tongues immediately colliding in a feverish dance, and you climb on Jeongin. He digs his fingers in your hips as you moan against his mouth. Both of you are drunk - you want this, and you can feel that he does, too. So you don’t stop. You can’t.
Jeongin’s large hands come to palm your breasts, squeezing the tender flesh, and he bucks his hips as he plays with your nipples. You moan, feeling his erection against your warm core.
“Are you sure about this?” he moans.
You nod. “More than sure. You?”
He smiles. “Me, too. I’ve wanted to have you like this for a while…”
He rolls his erection against your wetness, sending a shiver across your body. You grab his shirt, moaning his name. “Just needed a little liquid courage, huh?” you tease him.
“Right back at you. Fuck, those clothes need to go,” he breathes.
You nod, helping him remove your t-shirt and bra, and he stares down at your bare tits with his mouth parted. Giggling, you push them together, pinching your nipples with a soft moan.
“My cock is going to look so good nestled in between those,” Jeongin grins.
You both laugh excitedly as Jeongin goes to sit on the couch. You stay on your knees, on the floor, settling between his legs as he pulls down his shorts. His cock springs free, already fully erect, and you stare at it, your hands sprawled on his thighs. Jeongin holds it although he wouldn’t need to, smiling down at you.
“Fuck, you are so pretty looking up at me like that,” he tells you, his voice a little rasp.
You bite your lip, moving your hands upwards, resisting the urge to put his cock in your mouth, to suck him dry. Jeongin seems to catch your hesitation because he pushes two fingers under your chin to lift your face, meeting your gaze.
“Maybe later if you’re a good girl,” he says in a low voice, leaning in to give you a kiss.
He tastes like wine and sweets, and you position yourself, placing his cock in between your tits. His white hair sticks to his torso. Jeongin lets out a guttural groan, his head thrown backwards on the couch. His hair falls everywhere on his face, his glasses are crooked, his lips raw from your making out. You stare at him as you move your body up and down, making sure that his cock is trapped in between your tits.
“F-fuck…” he grunts. “Fuck, yes, just like that…”
You giggle, wishing you had a free hand so you could relieve some of the pressure in your cunt. You feel yourself getting soaking wet, your clit throbbing, aching for touch. But a part of you is too captivated by the facial expressions Jeongin makes as he starts to thrust his hips, fucking your tits. One of his wide hands slides into his hair, the veins popping out, and slides to gather your hair behind your head. He pulls on it a little, making you arch your back, and you let out a moan.
“I can’t… I can’t s-stop,” he breathes.
“Are you gonna cum on my tits, Innie?” you ask.
When he nods enthusiastically, you can’t help but smile. You work against his grip to bend your head forward and you stick out your tongue - so when his cock thrusts up, it touches it.
“Ugh, fuck!” Jeongin lets out a cry.
You lick him every time he moves, making him breathe harder. Jeongin pushes your head down on his cock, so much the tip almost enters your mouth. He’s muttering indecipherable words under his breath and you know he is close.
“Come on, pretty boy. Cum all over me,” you mewl at him.
It only takes another second before Jeongin grunts loudly, thick spurts of cum escaping his cock and falling on your mouth, your hands, and your tits. You look down at the beautiful white liquid covering you, clenching at the sight.
“Fuck, Innie…” you whisper. “You came so much.”
He doesn’t really answer you - his head has fallen back on the couch and he’s trying to steady his breathing. You chuckle, sticking out your tongue to lick him clean. He shakes a little, his cock sensitive, but you still do it.
“Don’t swallow,” he warns you.
You look at him with an arched eyebrow. Jeongin cups your face in his hands, removing the hair from your face. He stares at your wide eyes, at your wet lips, at the small stains of cum remaining on your face - it’s a sight he will never forget.
“Show me your tongue,” he orders you in a low voice.
You obey him, parting your lips. You look so hot right there, between his legs, mouth full of him. Cum falling in drops, and Jeongin pats your cheek.
“Now, swallow.”
He tastes warm and salty, but you like it. When you are done swallowing, Jeongin moves forward, flicking one of your nipples with his thumb. Your tits are a little sensitive, so your body jolts as you whimper.
“You’ve been such a good girl. Now it’s my turn to make you cum.”

🤍📮💌 this letter contains 5678 words 💌📮🤍
Tumblr media
Being the youngest of the group was not something Jeongin was used to. In school, considering he had to repeat a year, he was the oldest. All his friends acting like he was the wisest, too—when everyone knew that wasn’t exactly the case.
So when he moved to university, and followed everyone’s advice to join a fraternity, he was surprised to find he was the youngest pledge there.
It meant the brothers all babied him, telling him how cute he was and how much they loved his squishy cheeks and his smile and his dimples.
This wasn’t exactly what Jeongin envisioned when he thought about a frat. He imagined things being a bit more like those rude movies him and his friends sneaked into the house to watch late at night. American Pie was not what Jeongin was met with—and as much as the brothers wanted him to be sweet and innocent, his mind was anything but.
He wanted a party with people dancing on tables and girls throwing themselves at him. In all honesty, he just wanted to lose his virginity already. But he doubted any of the brothers would even help him with something like that considering he was the baby.
Besides, since he wasn’t actually part of the fraternity just yet, President Bang made him work at most of the parties—so when was he supposed to try and make a move on someone?
That wasn’t the only problem of course. There was also the small issue of Jeongin being very good friends with Y/N, one of the girls from the sorority on campus. And because you were such good friends, best friends even, Jeongin spent a lot of time eating lunch with you and your other girl friends. And somehow, the cute sweet innocent image followed Jeongin to the sorority, too.
Instant friendzone.
The girls all confide in him, and take him out to movies, and take OOTD pictures with him. As a friend.
How was Jeongin ever gonna get a girlfriend—let alone finally take the last step he had left to take and have sex?
Of course, he wasn’t ever actually upset by it, being surrounded by friends. And the friendzone didn’t matter all too much to him considering he didn’t have a crush on anyone. He just wanted some action already.
It was the second term of school, and Chan had called a frat meeting—something so important even the pledges were asked to come.
All the brothers were there, gathered in the living room of the frat house. And as expected, everybody cood cutely when Jeongin walked in.
“Look at your hair!” Changbin grinned, walking all the way over and wrapping his big arm around Jeongin’s shoulder. For someone as big as him, it always surprised Jeongin just how delicate he was.
They all complimented him for his new bleached look, something Jeongin did on a whim during the winter break.
The girls said he looked very handsome, which was friendly enough of them. But he was glad the brothers liked it too.
As more and more of them walked in, exchanging half hugs and hands clapped together, President Chan finally called everyone to attention.
“So! As you know, our Christmas party was very successful and everyone on campus is already excited for our next event!” Everyone cheered. “The president of the sorority and I came up with the next thing.”
“Please not another talent show,” Jisung stage whispered, remembering the incredibly embarrassing routine the girls forced him to do last time.
“It’s not another talent show,” Chan laughed, his dimples wide. “Valentine’s Day is coming soon.”
The room hummed and nodded.
“We’re doing a Secret Admirer Party.”
“I don’t think that’s a thing,” Seungmin whispered into Jeongin’s ear, rolling his eyes softly at the younger boy. Jeongin snickered.
“Did you make that up?” one of the other brother’s Jeongin didn’t know too well asked.
“Maybe,” Chan shrugged. “Think of it like secret santa, but for couples.”
Chan pulled out a box and shook it, small pieces of paper moving around inside it.
“Whoever wants to participate will take a slip of paper that has a name of one of the sorority girls on it. And that makes you their secret admirer. So, just put a smile on their face in the lead up to Valentine’s Day and on the 14th we’ll have a big party and the girls will have to figure out who their admirer is.”
“Chan,” one of the brothers raised his hand, “isn’t this all just a little too heteronormative?”
“No,” Chan said quickly, “this is about having good relationships with the sorority. I didn’t say you need to be romantic or marry them.”
“And if I wanna bring a guy to be my Valentine’s?”
“Then do that,” Chan shrugged, “but we still wanna make sure the girl you pick has a good night.”
Everyone nodded, happy with Chan’s explanations.
“Or you don’t have to participate,” he reminded, “if you don’t then you’re doing the car wash though.”
“I’ll participate!” He quickly said.
Everyone laughed.
A few questions were asked, Chan making sure to answer them thoroughly. The pledges were also participating, you weren’t allowed to reveal yourself before the party, crossing boundaries would get you punched by Chan, and pulling a name to then not participate would get you a warning and a discussion about your future with the frat. Everyone swallowed at that last one.
After that, Chan excitedly pulled up the box again, shaking it around.
“I think Felix should go first,” he said, walking towards the boy.
Felix’s face morphed into shock, looking around the room to try and understand why he was singled out. Until he realised everyone was going to pick one anyway.
“Shouldn’t it go by age?” Minho asked from where he was slumped in the corner. He’s been sulking since him and his girlfriend broke up, Jeongin realised it was the first time he said anything—a big contrast to how excited all the other brothers were for the romantic event.
“Felix raised the most money in our last baked goods sale—so he goes first,” Chan confirmed, nodding at the freckled boy.
Felix cautiously dipped his hand into the box, hissing softly before picking up one of the slips.
He opened it close to his face, but he couldn’t hide the smile glued on his features, freckles all but shining in response to the contents of the slip.
Jeongin would have to ask him who’s name was written on there.
Chan then decided the rest of the order would follow the sitting arrangement, which was pretty random, each of the boys looking over their slip and reacting silently. Except for Jisung, who yelled out a “no!”
“You pick who you pick,” Chan reminded him.
“But, hyung—“
“—enough.” Chan leaned over Jisung’s shoulder, reading the name and giggling. “It’s in the hands of fate, Han, nothing I can do.”
When the box reached Seungmin’s hand there were only another couple dozen slips left. He took one out and remained stoic. Jeongin never saw him reacting too loudly to anything anyway.
Then it was Jeongin’s turn.
He let out a sigh of relief when he read over the name. Y/N.
He was imagining every horror scenario possible, but this was the best case scenario. This would be easy; and as a pledge, Jeongin knew Chan would check up on him often. He could do this, easily! He knew you so well. The only objective was to make your winter a little bit nicer, light up your January blues. That was Jeongin’s task as the best friend anyway. It was basically a free pass.
He let himself smile as he nodded at Chan’s raised eyebrow.
*
Jeongin finished his day of studying, worked on his assignment and then sat down in front of his pile of empty letters. He went out and bought the nicest looking cards—pink flowers and hearts doting the outside of them. He thought you would like that.
Then he took out a pen, scribbling your name.
As soon as he saw it he realised you would recognise his handwriting in a heartbeat—and so he opened his laptop instead. He’d have to print them all out and stick them on the cards.
His first letter consisted of introducing himself to you, in the most casual and definitely not giving his identity away kind of way.
He hid it in your bag after your first class and watched as you blushed when you found it.
He wrote a silly joke down at the end of letter hoping to bring your mood up. He felt a swirl of pride in his chest when he heard you laughing at the card.
The next letter had another joke in it, and a reminder to eat your food well that day. He even wrote down a recipe for an easy and cost-effective pie that you could try and make.
Jeongin knew you got that letter when you sent him a snapchat with your dinner, the pie being a great success.
Then he wrote down a dream he had, just because he had no idea what else to write that day, and made sure to tell you he hopes your dreams are all pleasant and that you have something to cuddle with. Jeongin knew you left your plushies at home because your roommate was making fun of you for them, and decided to add a question at the end of that letter.
“Hey, Innie,” you smiled at him as he dropped you off at your dorm after your study date, “you know who has me for those letter things, right?”
“I can’t say anything about it—“ he avoided your gaze, heart sinking. If he was caught already Chan might kill him.
“No, no, don’t say anything to me. It’s just.. he asked me something and I don’t know how I’m supposed to respond to him.”
Shit. Jeongin was an idiot. These letters weren’t him texting you—of course you wouldn’t be able to answer his question. As he was scolding himself, neck growing incredibly warm under his thick scarf, he noticed the smile you were trying to suppress. He’s never seen that kind of look in your eyes before.
“Can you just say to him I said yes?”
“Yes?” He grinned, before quickly coughing it away. “Y-yes to what?”
“That’s between me and him,” you smiled, swaying from side to side. “Anyway, see you at lunch tomorrow!”
The next day Jeongin tries his hardest to hide the box he brought with him on your desk before you see it—and luckily, only one of the other frat boys saw him doing it. His secret is still safe.
You squeal when you open it, a soft fox plushie sitting in the box. Jeongin watches in awe as you hug it close to your chest, rocking back and forth before you run up to him.
“Innie, look!!” You shake the toy in his face, giggling wildly, as you start petting it. Jeongin’s heart skips a beat at the sight. He’s not too sure why.
“Thank you so much!” You pout, hugging him.
“No, it’s not, w-why are you than—“
“Can you give him another message from me?”
Oh. That’s why you’re thanking him.
Jeongin nods, trying to hide the sigh he has to let out.
“Tell him that, um,” you look away, eyes locked on the fox in your hands, “just tell him I’m really looking forward to the party.”
You’re blushing. Your eyes are sparkling and you’re giggling and you’re blushing.
All Jeongin can bring himself to do is nod.
He isn’t sure why, but his next letter is a bit more…. romantic. Jeongin tells you he’s looking forward to the party too, that he’s happy you liked his gift, that he’s excited to find an outfit that could match yours for the night. That maybe you two could dance together. That you wouldn’t have to worry about anything that night because he’ll keep you safe and walk you home when it’s over, even if you’re as drunk as you were at the Christmas party. Don’t be shy, he writes, it wasn’t as embarrassing as you think it was. He actually thought you looked beautiful even after Hyunjin spilled that beer on you. It’s not that you aren’t always beautiful, of course. Hopefully this isn’t too forward—but when you have fun like you did that night, with your loud laugh and your stupid dance moves, well, you’re the most beautiful person in the room.
Jeongin’s hands shake when he hides the letter in your lecture notes that day. He can’t even bring himself to look at you once you’ve read it.
“Innie, you know who he is?” You asked, more like stated, as the pair of you sit down to eat.
“Do you want Chan to kill me?” Jeongin glared at you.
“I just need to know who it is,” you whine, pouting at him.
Jeongin shakes his leg under the table, deciding that’s what’s making his stomach flip.
“You’ll find out at the party, it’s just another week,” Jeongin reminds you, trying his best to sound casual about it, as if it wasn’t consuming his thoughts.
What’ll happen when you find out who’s actually writing these notes to you? What’ll happen when you realise it was your best friend—someone who definitely shouldn’t have called you the prettiest girl on campus. Jeongin couldn’t help but feel like some sort of catfish.
“I’m going to kiss him,” you say, determination heavy on your brows.
Jeongin practically spits out his drink.
“Wh-what?” He squeaks. “You can’t do that!”
“He’s single, right?”
“I think so,” Jeongin stutters.
“Then I can,” you nod firmly. “I know I don’t know who he is, but he’s so thoughtful. And he remembers random details about me, so I know he cares about me, too. And he’s funny. Like, super funny.”
You’re gushing now, smile so wide it reaches your eyes. You’re even resting your chin in your hands, as cliche as it is. If Jeongin didn’t know any better he’d say you have a crush on this person. On him.
“Y/N, do you have a crush on your secret admirer?”
You giggle, hiding your face with your hands. “No.”
“Oh, sure, I believe that,” he scoffs at you.
“Innie, you know who it is. And you’re my best friend in the whole entire world.” Jeongin swallows. “And as my best friend—do you think I have a shot with him? Like, if I ask him out would he say yes?”
Jeongin gasps, his face growing incredibly warm.
“Wait, you want to date m—him? Genuinely?”
“Yeah,” you admit with a sigh. “He’s the perfect man.”
“You have no idea what he looks like,” Jeongin argues.
“I’m not that shallow!” You defend. “Besides, I know the frat boys and they’re all super hot.”
“He could be a pledge,” Jeongin shrugs, casually.
“Oh my god! He’s one of the pledges?” You gasp, eyes sparkling at this new piece of information about the man of your dreams, apparently.
Jeongin cringes at himself, obviously unable to undo that slip up. He should just stay quiet from now on.
“Please, best friend, please,” you bring your hands together, begging Jeongin. He knows you’re gonna ask for something crazy when you call him best friend like that.
“What?” He sighs, knocking your hands down.
“Can you please find out if he’d kiss me back?”
Jeongin couldn’t sleep. He kept replaying your conversation in his head, kept wondering if he would kiss you back. He’s known you most of his life, you were his closest friend in the world, and kissing you was certainly not something he thought of before. It wasn’t appropriate, it wasn’t right, but your lips were really beautiful now that he thinks about it.
Really quite beautiful.
And they were probably soft.
Jeongin thought about kissing you, wondered if you’d sigh into his lips once you touched them. He wondered if you’d even want to kiss him when you found out.
He wondered why the thought of you rejecting him pricked at his heart.
bestie: are you walking with us to the party?
innie: obvs, seung and i will be there in thirty
When Jeongin arrived he had to remind himself that you weren’t his date, at least, you didn’t know about it yet. You were his best friend and it was common for him to walk you to parties. Sometimes he’d do it even when he wasn’t planning on staying at the event at all—but he wanted to make sure you got there safely. And yes, when you’d call at three in the morning Jeongin would come over and walk you back to your room.
But that didn’t mean that he had feelings for you. Right?
That was just his best friend duties, just like it was his duty now to tell you how great you looked.
“Thank you!” You smiled brightly. “I was told to wear something blue.”
Jeongin knows this because he’s the one who told you to wear blue. Your deep blue dress matches his blazer (and the flowers he hid in the house for later) but you don’t comment on it yet.
You and a few of the other girls ask Jeongin to take pictures of them, and he of course obeys, while Seungmin just stands there and waits.
It’s not that he doesn’t care about taking pictures, he’s just as vain as the rest of you, but Jeongin knows he’s nervous. He’s been acting weird since the weekend—so Jeongin doesn’t push him to participate any more than he already is. At least he’s actually showing up to the party.
When everyone has had enough of the pictures, the group starts making their way to the frat house where the party is taking place.
You wrap an arm around Jeongin’s bicep in familiar ease—but the skip of his heart is new. It’s the nerves of the party, probably. Jeongin has a feeling Chan might make him take pictures again or even worse, he might be on picking drunk people off the floor duty.
Jeongin can’t wait for his initiation.
“Innie, if you’re working the party will you be drinking?” You ask, as the group slowly strolls behind the pair of you.
“Probably not, maybe just a shot or two,”
“So you have to save one with me!” You insist, and Jeongin’s smile widens on his face.
“Obviously.”
“I’ll have to go find my admirer first,” Jeongin’s stomach flips violently, “and then I can introduce you two.”
“I know him,” Jeongin rolls his eyes.
“I know,” you sigh, almost dreamily, “but I need my best friend and my future boyfriend to get along.”
Jeongin trips over a dent in the pavement, but your grip on his bicep stops him from falling flat on his face.
His heart is pumping inside his ears but this time he’s sure it’s not from his near death experience. You want him to be your future boyfriend.
“In-ah!” Changbin yells over the music, “take our picture!”
Jeongin complies happily, snapping a picture of Changbin and a few of the brothers.
They thank him quickly before someone else is tapping his shoulder and asking for their own picture.
This isn’t the first time he’s been put on camera duty, and frankly, Jeongin actually enjoys it a lot. He knows what to expect.
And there’s another benefit to being behind the camera for most of the night and that is the distance between him and you.
The more Jeongin thought about it, the more his heart raced and he wasn’t too sure it was the good kind of racing either. He was terrified.
Writing you letters and brightening your day was one thing, letting you go this whole time fantasising about kissing your admirer, kissing Jeongin was wrong. He should’ve told you the truth; he should’ve warned you or made a comment about the platonic nature of his letters. He should’ve been a good friend.
And he shouldn’t have let himself get carried away and write that last letter. The one telling you he can’t wait to kiss you tonight.
He couldn’t go through with it, no. It would be much better to let you leave the party disappointed in your admirer than for him to lose his best friend. Jeongin had to be selfish in that way, because the real selfish thing to do would be kiss you like he wanted.
You wanted the person in the letters. You didn’t want him.
Jeongin had to remind himself that.
A little later, when most of the frat boys’ shirts were off, one of the sorority girls tapped Jeongin’s shoulder. Instinctively he brought the camera up to his eyes, but all he saw through the monitor was a shake of the head.
“You need to go find Y/N!” She yelled over the music, the smell of alcohol sinking into Jeongin’s nose.
“Why? Is she okay?!”
“She figured it out,” was her answer.
Jeongin didn’t need to know any more details. Couples have been pairing off into the night by the dozen, much more than any other party he’s been to before, and he knew all the girls were going around and guessing who their admirer was. Considering Seungmin was found out already and that one pledge who takes Business was making out with his Valentine’s behind the bar—the process of elimination wasn’t very long.
He never should’ve told you it was one of the pledges.
“Where is she?”
“Locked herself in one of the bathrooms,” she said, a pitiful look in her eyes.
Well, shit.
“I,” Jeongin looked around, trying to spot Chan in the crowd. He saw him a few minutes ago prying Jisung away from a tower of empty bottles, but now he wasn’t too sure where he was. Jeongin couldn’t just leave his post.
The girl in front of him grabbed the camera strap around his neck and pulled it away from him.
“I’ll cover for you,” she smiled. Jeongin remembered now that she took a media class. Maybe she knew what she was doing.
“But Chris—“
“—just go find your best friend before she drowns herself in the toilet or something.”
Well. Major shit.
Jeongin nodded at the girl, smiling widely, before he ran up the stairs and knocked on all the bathroom doors.
Eventually, your voice answered him.
“Occupied!” It was your sad voice.
“Let me in!” He demanded.
“Go away,” you replied.
“I promised you a great night and you’ve locked yourself in a toilet instead. In a frat house. Do you want to die of communal diseases?”
“I hate you,” you mumbled back, but it was loud enough that Jeongin could still hear it through the door. He wondered if you were sat on the floor, pressed against the door like a real pity party.
“I don’t think you do,” he tried to convince you, and himself, as he sat down on the floor. He brought his knees up to his chest, curling up into a ball as he rested his head on the door. “Why?”
“Why would you lie to me like that?”
“When did I lie?”
There was a pause, Jeongin could practically see you biting at your bottom lip as you prepared yourself for the rest of the conversation. He wished you’d just open up the door already.
“You said I was the most beautiful girl in the room,” you started, “and you said my laugh brings you peace.”
“Those weren’t lies!” Jeongin defended.
“You said you think about kissing me a lot, that you think about it during class or when you should be sleeping.”
Jeongin didn’t reply.
“I can’t believe you’d throw away our friendship over a stupid frat thing,” you said softly. Jeongin almost didn’t hear you, but then you opened the door.
You stood above him, Jeongin was too scared to stand, so he let you tower over him while you slowly broke his heart.
“You could’ve just said nice things and made jokes like you did at first. Why did you have to act like a Valentine’s?”
“The whole point of this was—“
“—I can’t believe you’d do this, In.”
“Y/N, it’s not that I—“
“—and the worst part is I wanted it to be you.”
Jeongin gasps softly, watching you intently as you crouch down to his height. You tuck your dress under your knees and grab his hand.
Jeongin blinks.
“The fox was a massive giveaway, but then I kept thinking there’s just no way it would be you. So I tried freaking you out a bit with that kiss talk, but then you wrote back saying you think about it. So it was either not you or you were playing with me. I just really hoped you wouldn’t be playing with me but our outfits match so it has to be you.”
“It is me,” is all he manages, “I’m your admirer.”
You sigh heavily, shaking your head as you aimlessly play with the tips of Jeongin’s fingers.
“But I wasn’t playing with you. At all!”
“You think about kissing your best friend?”
“And other stuff…” Jeongin sighs, moving the pile of hands further up your lap.
“Yang Jeongin,” you glare at him, “I fucking hate you.”
“Please don’t hate me,” he sighs. Jeongin takes one of his hands away from your lap, burying it in your hair instead. He drags your face closer to his, resting his forehead on yours.
“It’s not my fault those letters made me fall for you.”
“You wrote them, Innie, who’s fault is it then?”
“Yours,” he chuckled softly, the air tickling your cheek lightly. “The way your eyes would light up every time you found one.”
“Jeongin, please stop playing with me. It’s cruel. Just walk away now and we’ll write this off as a drunk night.”
“And if I don’t walk away?” He pulled away slightly, eyes melting into yours. You felt your heart clench tightly.
“Then our friendship is over.”
“What’s the third option?” He licked his lips.
“I can’t tell you.”
Jeongin stays quiet for a few moments, your heart beat getting louder and louder in your ears the more time passes. You try focusing on something else, and oddly, find comfort in the small circles Jeongin’s rubbing into your cheek.
“I don’t want our friendship to be over,” he says, seriously.
“Then whatever you do,” your eyes flutter shut, “don’t turn me into a one night stand.”
“Y/N,” he chuckled, causing you to open your eyes quickly, “I’m not letting my first time be on the floor of a frat house bathroom. Do you know how many undiscovered diseases—“
“—okay, okay!” You laugh. “You’re not going to have sex with me and then dip?”
“Dip where?” He laughs, “you’re my bestest closest friend. My life involves you in so many ways and it’s been that way since I can remember.”
“All the more reason to use me for your first time and then—“
Jeongin rolls his eyes before he grabs your chin, pulling your face to his and kissing you. He’s kissing you.
But before anything else can register in your brain he’s pulled away. Smirking at you.
“Huh?”
“You were talking too much.”
“I-I—Was, talking, um—“
“Did a kiss from me make you speechless?” His smirk takes over his whole face, his dimples so big you wonder what it would feel like to poke at them.
Your eyebrows fold in determination before you pull him by his neck, crashing your lips together.
The kiss is longer this time, much longer, the pair of you frozen against each other before Jeongin carefully starts moving, fingers wrapping around your jaw to keep you close.
You sigh into his lips and he wastes no time in pushing his tongue against yours. Breaths heavy and mixing together, his blonde hair between your fingers, his tiny moans so close to you you can feel them against your skin.
And now you’re making out with your best friend on the bathroom floor of a frat house.
The cold tile beneath your knees makes you aware of it, somehow, and you snap out of whatever spell Jeongin put you under with those letters.
You shoot up in your spot, cover your mouth as if it was an undo button, then run down the stairs.
Jeongin doesn’t follow you.
A week passed and neither one of you reaches out to the other. You’re both helplessly stubborn, and equally embarrassed, and it’s only after Seungmin kicks Jeongin out of their dorm for being an idiot that he makes his way down to your room.
He knocks on the door before stuffing his hands in his pocket and rocking on his heels.
You hate him now, don’t you?
Jeongin’s heart breaks when you open the door. Your hair is messy and unkept, old mascara is still on your left lash line, and you’re wearing your pyjamas even though it’s almost dinner time.
The worst part is you’re clutching the fox plushie he gave you.
Jeongin doesn’t think, pulling you into a bone crushing hug instead.
“Why did you pick the second option?” You mumble into his shoulder. He gasps as he pulls away from you.
“No! No, I didn’t! You ran away from me and I didn’t know what to do!”
“Innie…”
Jeongin grabs your shoulders and pulls you towards him, lips inches away from yours, but then you gasp and push him away. His eyes gap at you.
“I haven’t brushed my teeth in three days,” you confess shyly, covering your mouth.
He nods at you, understandingly, before he slowly guides you to the bathroom.
He takes the fox away from you, ignoring your painfully adorable whine, and hands you your toothbrush.
He patiently sits on top of the closed toilet seat and waits.
“What was the third option?” He asks after you dry off your face.
You look away from him, leaning against the dusty countertop. You need to clean the bathroom, you think to yourself.
You don’t answer, instead taking the plushie from his grip. He doesn’t let you.
“Jeongin, let go.”
“No.”
“The fox is mine,” you pout at him.
“You’re mine,” he says instead. His words are so unexpected you let go of the plushie. “When did you last eat?”
Jeongin reminds you of a troubled grandmother when you tell him it’s been at least a day since you last ate, and so he guides you to your bed while he orders your favourite takeout.
They won’t deliver it past the campus gate, so Jeongin braces the now almost freezing February night air to collect it.
When he’s back you’re under the covers completely, only your face and the fox’s ears visible under the blanket.
He feeds you silently while you watch one of your favourite movies, and he says nothing as he climbs under the covers with you when the food is done.
Both of you notice how you’ve cuddled endless times before today, but this was the first time your heartbeats were both so loud.
Jeongin presses soft kisses on your shoulder until you fall asleep.
Another month passed, and it’s the fourth time you’re making out completely naked on Jeongin’s bed.
“I want you so bad,” he mumbled against your lips, rolling his hips against yours to prove it.
“I want you too, Innie,” you sighed, rolling your hips in answer.
“I’ll try my best to do it right,” he blushed, tracing his fingers up your arm. “I’ll do whatever feels good.”
“You feel good,” you run your hand over his stomach, lower and lower until you wrap your hand around his dick.
“And you’re sure this isn’t gonna mess up our friendship?” He asks, eyes bright. Jeongin leans closer to your head, his weight on his forearm by your shoulder. You kiss his bicep as you chuckle.
He watches as you push him away slightly, leaning down to his bedside table and grabbing a condom.
He stays motionless as you unwrap it and secure it on his dick—the feeling of the latex against his warm skin is unfamiliar. But you kiss his cheek when you’re done and it isn’t too scary.
You distract him from the nerves by rubbing your hand up and down his back, and after a few misguided pokes, Jeongin slowly sinks into you.
His gasp is embarrassingly high pitched, but you brush the hair out of his face without laughing at him.
“You’re doing good, baby,” you smile at him.
You grab his hips and push him in deeper. This time, Jeongin can’t think about the sound of his own moans since yours drown him out.
His lips collide with yours, and you can both tell he doesn’t actually have enough coordination to do all this just yet. With your guidance, he starts thrusting in harder and a little bit faster—and Jeongin wants to die when he cums just when you start enjoying yourself.
“Fuck, I hate myself,” he groaned, sitting up on the bed after disposing of the condom.
“Luckily we’re gonna do that again,” you say, even though Jeongin catches a hint of a question in your eyes, “so you can make it up to me.”
“So this isn’t a one night stand?”
“You picked the third option, no?” You smile up at him, pressing a kiss to his sweaty forehead.
“You never actually told me what it was,” he chuckled before pulling the blanket over the pair of you.
Jeongin hummed as you settled on top of his chest, lacing your fingers together.
“Date.”
“Wait,” Jeongin scrunched his face at you, “we weren’t dating this whole time? I’ve been paying for your food for a month.”
“Yeah,” you slap the side of his head lightly, “because we’re dating.”
“Oh, we have been dating this whole time,” Jeongin confirms to himself. You roll your eyes.
“You’re lucky you pulled my name out of that box, Yang Jeongin.”
“I know,” he smiles down at you before planting a soft kiss on your lips. “So lucky.”

embarrassing (y.j/i.n)
Tumblr media
hello! i realized i posted this on my main blog lol. hope you enjoy! <3
A and B get caught making out.
Jeongin rests his head on your lap, his eyes shut as he attempts to take a nap. Your fingers comb through his hair, your attention focusing on the movie playing.
The rest of the members went out shopping, you and Jeongin opting to stay home. Both of you didn't get much rest last night and didn't feel up to going out.
You shift your gaze towards your boyfriend, a smile gracing your lips at how cute he looks. You stroke the side of his face gently, causing him to let out a tired groan.
"Sorry, sorry," you giggle, removing your hand from his face. "You're just so cute, Innie."
"I'm glad you think so, but I'm tired," he laughs into your stomach, his arms wrapping around your waist.
Your smile widens as you rest one of your hands against the middle of his back. "Well, maybe someone shouldn't have stayed up so late," you tease.
Jeongin moves his hand to tickle your side, and you let out a shriek. "I'm not the only one to blame," he laughs as you attempt to push him off of you.
"Okay, okay! I'm sorry! Stop!" You gasp out, grabbing a hold of his hand.
The blonde moves to sit up, a smile on his lips. "Fine, I'll spare you. Can I take a nap now?" He asks, pouting at you.
"Can I have a kiss first?" You counter, grinning.
His eyes glance down at his lips, and you notice the light blush dusting his cheeks. You love how shy Jeongin can get when it comes to your affection.
You shift closer to him before he leans forward to kiss you. Your eyes flutter shut as you kiss him back, bringing your hand back to his cheek.
"I love you," you whisper as soon as you pull away from him. Jeongin trails his lips up your jaw and a soft moan leaves you.
"I love you too, honey," he mumbles against your skin.
Your heart pounds against your chest as Jeongin pulls back, his eyes meeting yours. He smiles at you before reconnecting your lips together.
His hands grab onto your waist, pulling you onto his lap. You drag your fingers through his hair as the kiss between you deepens.
"This isn't like you," you giggle into the kiss, tugging on his blonde hair a smidge.
"Only you bring this side out," Jeongin sighs, resting his forehead against yours. "Just you."
You groan in admiration, your cheeks starting to hurt from smiling so much. "How did I get so lucky?" You ask him.
"I could ask you the same thing, Y/N."
You nudge your nose along his, a deep breath coming from your parted lips. Your hands rest on his cheeks, stroking them gently before kissing him again.
Jeongin's arms slip around your waist, holding you close to him. The door to the dorm opens up just as he slips his tongue past your lips.
"My eyes!" Han's voice echoes off the walls, causing the two of you to pull apart.
You look towards the sound to see all seven members standing in the doorway, shocked looks on their faces.
"What is going on here!?" Chan asks, not believing his eyes.
Your boyfriend hides his face in your neck, and you notice the tips of his ears turning red. A chuckle leaves your lips as you decide to answer for him.
"We're… having an intimate moment," you point out, feeling your cheeks blush. "We'll just, uh, continue in his room."
Jeongin suddenly lifts you, his arms hooking around your thighs before carrying you to his room.
"Use protection!"
"Baby bread is growing!"
You and Jeongin let out a cackle just as you make it to his room. He kicks the door shut behind him, releasing a sigh.
"That's embarrassing," he mumbles with a shy smile.
"It was bound to happen," you shrug your shoulders, a teasing grin on your lips.

For the first time ever you were dating someone younger than yourself. You didn’t plan on getting close to Jeongin, but his persistence payed off, so you gave him a chance. It felt weird at first but you got used to him so quickly that you never once questioned your age gap. Even if he was way younger, he was mature, loving and kind - traits that you rarely found these days. You spent the entire weekend with him. Getting to know him and all his little quirks filled you with joy. Having him in your life felt so natural at this point, you didn’t think twice about asking him for things that mattered.
„You want me to go dogsit with you?“ He was taken aback by your request but complied happily, being an enthusiastic dog lover himself. And now you found yourself in your friend‘s flat, tangled with each other on her new beige couch. Your attention has long left the dog who was sleeping happily in front of the tv. All you could see, all you could comprehend was the beautiful boy right in front of you. Jeongin was an enigma to you - soft and nourishing, yet forceful and bold. The two of you stopped talking a while ago, lips too preoccupied with kissing every centimeter of each other. His porcelain skin was soft, his plush lips were even softer - you lost yourself in him entirely. He hummed in pleasure as he kissed you passionately, not wanting to let go of you. „Fuck, I really love kissing you, y/n.“ You grinned widely. „You’re a great kisser too, baby.“ Jeongin‘s eyes widened in surprise. „Did you just call me baby?“
Fuck, did you? You grew insecure, cheeks reddened instantly. You only started dating - was this too early? Did he even want to be your baby? „Oh, did I? Sorry. Did you… Did you not like it?“ Anxiously you held your breath. You were used to giving it your all from the very beginning, but not everybody was like that. Not everybody liked that. His smile put you at ease though so you relaxed again. „No, I liked it. Very much actually. Can you… can you call me baby more often?“You let out a heartfelt laugh, relieved that you were on the same page. „I can do that. Baby.“ You winked at him before kissing him again. Jeongin kissed you back, hungrily, while roaming your body with his big hands. „Wait, y/n wait. I want to call you something cute, too.“ „Oh?“ He cleared his throat before speaking again. „I know it‘s cliché but I really want to call you jagi.“ Jeongin looked down, cheeks flushed now. „Jagi? Really?“, you laughed out loud. Your hand reached for his chin as you tilted his head to yours. „Okay“, you whispered. His eyes lit up in excitement. „Really?“ You nodded happily. „Can I also call you noona then?“
Flashbacks of your annoying brother calling you that flooded your mind. He used to get on your nerves, always pointing out your age, always mocking you for being older. Were you okay with your beautiful, young lover calling you that? Hell, no. „Please don’t call me noona. Anything but that, Jeongin.“ He laughed out loud, trying to convince you. „Oh come on, it makes sense since you’re older and everything. Please let me call you noona.“ He enjoyed your uneasiness way too much. You shifted your position, untangling yourself from him but failed as his strong arms grabbed you quickly. „Where do you think you’re going, noona?“ His voice overly seductive, his brown eyes glued to yours.„Jeongin, I don’t like you calling me that. I really don’t.“ You grew defensive. You didn’t want him to see you as an old hag. He caught on quickly, feeling sorry for triggering an insecurity of yours. Reflexively, he caressed your arms with his hands, trying to soothe you. „I’m sorry y/n. I won’t call you that anymore. What do you want me to call you instead?“ You took a minute to yourself before answering. With a shy smile on your lips you whispered your reply.
„Yours.“

fuck boy ! jeongin who tries to get close to you and befriend you. however, you've been warned by your friends about his reputation so you believe he is only getting close to you because he wants a quick fuck when in fact, it's the opposite. he likes how driven you are by your dreams, how head strong you are. how well spoken you sound. he doesn't stop pestering you until after months of begging you finally give in and let him take you out on a date.
fuck boy ! jeongin who is so madly in love and smitten by you, he's willing to change just to keep you. he promises to get rid of the contacts of his hook ups, change his friend circle and be a better person; be the person he truly wishes to be.
fuck boy ! jeongin who lies awake at night, stroking his cock to the thought of you. the palm of his hand gliding up and down his shaft, his moans muffled. his skin on fire, nerve endings tingling. his cock rock hard and tip an angry red as he pumps himself to sinful thoughts of you. his imagination runs wild until he finally orgasms. his sticky fluid landing on his toned stomach, chest heaving as he calms himself down.
fuck boy ! jeongin who is slowly falling madly in love with you. every time you look at him, he goes shy. every time you touch him, his skin is on fire. every time you speak, he's in a trance. he's a love sick puppy for you but also scared. it's a whole new feeling he has never experienced before but it's a feeling he wishes never to end.
fuck boy ! jeongin who asked you to be his. you said yes and that same night, you both had sex. it was the best sex he has ever had. to be able to feel and hear you in a new light. to see your body and face twist and turn with each thrust of his cock. to hold your hand and feel you clamp around him as you whisper and moan his name. nothing compares to it. he's slowly becoming addicted to you–as are you.
fuck boy ! jeongin who finally got what he wanted. a stable life with the person of his dreams. he finally said goodbye to his fuck boy life and settled down, planning his future with you and only you. he's never looked back since.

another cinderella story

Jeongin frowned at his friend’s bad joke. To be fair it was finals week. They had to find some humor somewhere because if they didn’t laugh, they would most definitely cry. He reached over to flick Jisung’s forehead,
“Go back to studying,” He deadpanned.
Jisung rubbed his forehead with a pout. “I’m trying, bro”. He groaned, “I don’t know why the hell I took this class in the first place.”
Jeongin chuckled, “It’s a required class Sung, you didn’t have a choice,”
“I know, I know but I’m a –”
“Creative writing major” They said in unison.
“We all know. You say it all the time,” Jeongin groaned and leaned back. “It’s college math bro, we all have to do it whether we like it or not,”
It was currently nearing dinner time and they both have been cooped up in the library from the day has started and they have yet barely reached anywhere.
“I give up. I don’t know why I even attempted to study,” Jeongin placed his head on his hands. “And I’m hungry,”
“We need to pass the class,” Jisung said trying to convince himself, “And I do not want to go through this hell again,”
Jeongin looked around, the library was full of tired and stressed out students. “If we leave and come back we’re probably not going to get our spot back.”
“Or, I could leave and you watch our spot?” Jisung looked over at him with a sly smile. “I could bring you back a coffee, please! Innie-ah please!”
Jeongin sighed, running his hand through his hair, “Fine, just go. You need it more than me anyways.”
Jisung barely took notice of his comment before packing up and leaving immediately. “I’ll find the best coffee on campus I promise!”
Jeongin would describe himself as an okay student. The university he attends now wasn’t his first pick. In fact, it’s more quaint than the others. But seeing that he still hasn’t declared a major, he can’t really be too judgy.
He looked down at the foreign formulas in his book. Studying was not something that was on his mind at the moment. So with the lack of motivation and food in his stomach, he starts to scroll on his phone, praying that Jisung comes back soon.
The table he was sitting at shifted. He looked beside him to see a girl unpacking her books, basically setting up camp for studying beside him.
“Hi, uh that’s someone’s seat,” Jeongin said.
She turned to him and he noticed how put together she looked. Her twists pulled into a neat bun, wearing a sweater vest and dress pants paired off with the cliche black glasses frame. She was also wearing a mask but the way she frowned at him with her eyes in despair, when he told her she was in Jisung’s seat, tugged at his heart strings. He could tell she was a nerd, but at least, she was a cute nerd.
“Really? Oh no, the exam is tomorrow and my laptop is dying and this was the only open spot with an outlet right next to it.” Her soft voice brought back some life into Jeongin.
He suddenly felt re-energized. And who was he to turn down a study partner, especially one with such pretty brown eyes.
“Well, I’m sure he’s not coming back for now.”
That was the half-truth, Jeongin prayed that Jisung wouldn’t come back for now.
“You can stay here until he’s back,”
The bright eye smile you gave him as you pushed your glasses up, made him smile as well.
“Thank you so much!”
“No problem.”
After a shared silence, he glanced over to see you clicking away on your calculator. Your brows were knitted together as you punched in numbers and quickly wrote down answers, softly mumbling to yourself.
“Is that college math?” He asked.
“Yeah, the exam is tomorrow and I’m so nervous,” You barely even glanced at him.
But he smiled again. “Yeah, I have it too. But you seem to know what you’re doing. I’m sure you’ll be fine.”
You paused what you were doing and looked up at him. He felt the gratefulness from your eyes.
“Thank you. But I don’t. And it’s no thanks to Professor Cho,”
“Wait, we're in the same class?”
“Yeah, we are”
“How come I haven’t seen you before?”
You looked back down at your notebook, and pressed your lips together, “Oh, you probably just didn’t take notice,” You said softly.
He scratched the back of head, feeling embarrassed.  “Well I should have. I can’t believe I’m only getting to know I had such a pretty and smart classmate all along.”
You laughed softly through your mask, “I’m wearing a mask, you can’t even see me.”
“I don’t need to when I know how gorgeous your eyes are already,”
There’s a certain warmth from you that’s pulling you towards him and he wants to find out more.
You rolled your eyes, hoping the mask hid your smile beneath it, but Jeongin saw straight through it. Before he even got a chance to comment you changed the topic,
“How do you think you’re going to do on the exam?”
His shoulders slouched, “Honestly,” He chuckled, “It’s in God’s hands at this point,”
Your head fell back slightly as you laughed at him. It was to the point of people starting to shush you. You covered your mouth, trying to soften your laughter, even though you already had on the mask.
He liked that he made you laugh.
“It can’t be that bad?” You tried to offer little hope, before shaking your head, “No, it’s that bad. Professor Cho did nothing but yell all semester,”
“Or complain about –”
“No one wants to work these days,” You both said simultaneously.
You giggled looking over at him. His jet black hair slightly ruffled, most likely due to stressfully running his hand through it. His dimples really shine through, even when he barely laughs. His eyes glanced over at you and you both made eye contact.
“You’ll do fine though,” You said softly. “I see you and your friend in class and you always have the long ass worksheets he sets for us done,”
“You saw that?” His eyes widened, “Damn, how come I’ve never seen you before?”
He truly cannot believe that you two have not crossed paths before. He was almost mad at himself for not taking notice of you. It’s amazing how in such a short time, he managed to feel so comfortable with a complete stranger. He really wanted to get to know you more. He can’t imagine how much more beautiful you were unmasked.
You laughed, “Maybe it’s the mask. You just didn’t notice me”
But his eyes narrowed at you, “Maybe it is,”
His hand slowly reached out towards your face, “Can I?”
You nodded.
As his hand gently touched the face covering, you both jumped apart at the sound of someone clearing their throat.
Jeongin looked up to see Jisung and cursed in his head. Of course he picked the worst possible time to come back.
“Uh hey, that’s kinda my seat,”
And apparently Jisung was set on cockblocking him too.
“Oh! Sorry, yeah. My laptop’s done charging anyways.” You said quickly packing up your stuff.
“I’ll see you around Yang Jeongin,” You said, “Good luck,”
Jeongin looked at Jisung out of the corner of his eyes. “You couldn’t stay away for five more minutes,”
“Bro, I don’t know why you’re attacking me. You’re the one that gave up my seat to a random girl. Why were y’all so close anyways? Do we know her?” He said handing the coffee over to Joengin.
Jeongin rolled his eyes as he took a sip, “No. But she knows me. And I was getting to know her.” He sighed leaning back into his chair, “The only good thing to happen to me tonight was her and I didn’t even get her name bro,”
Jisung shrugged, “She left her calculator here though,”
Jeongin sat straight back up, “Wait what,”
He grabbed the calculator and examined it, realizing there’s no name on it. Instinctively he stood and rushed out of the library, but he didn’t see you around.
“Damn it, the exam is tomorrow and she doesn’t have a calculator,” He mumbled to himself.
Dejectedly walking back into the library, he saw Jisung packing up.
“Did you find her?”
Jeongin shook his head.
“Maybe you’ll find her tomorrow man. But let’s call it a night because I have a feeling we’re not getting anything else done tonight.”
He shook his head again, “Nah, you go ahead. I wanna stay back,”
Jisung shrugged and left him behind.
The sun was blaring down on Jeongin at the exam center. He woke up early and went there just so he could see the girl with the mask again, in hopes of giving her the calculator before the exam.
It was now five minutes before the exam and still no sign of her. He looked down at the pink calculator with a frown. Before one last hopeful look he turned around with a sigh about to enter the room.
“Yang Jeongin!”
A girl screamed running towards him. As she got closer Jeongin realized it was her.
She came to a halt breathing heavily, “You have my calculator? Please tell me that you do?”
Her pretty brown eyes furrowed once again, reminding him of their first encounter. Her twists were no longer neatly pulled back but a bit more messy resting her on shoulders. Yet, wearing just a simple t-shirt with sweatpants he still found her beautiful. His eyes scanned the features of her face, the mask so rudely covered. Her full lips fixed into a frown and her round cheeks added to her cuteness.
“I do. When I realized you left it, I ran out after you but you were gone.”
“God, I’m so stupid. I didn’t realize I left it until I reached back to my dorm and I had to study using my phone calculator. If you know anything about phone calculators and how inconvenient they are, you can imagine how stressed I was. Not to mention I thought it was gone for good and calculators are so damn expensive nowadays and I got that ages ago and –” Your hands flew up to her face in despair as her breathing got worse.
He gently reached out to your hand and placed your calculator in it. “Breathe.”
And so she did.
Their eyes locked together once again as Jeongin smiled at you, “I’m sure you studied well and you’ll do well. Now let’s go so we never have to go through Professor Cho again,”
You laughed. He really liked that he could make you laugh. “You’re right,”
When Jeongin left the exam room, he saw you outside waiting for him.
“So how was it?” You asked with a smile.
He shrugged, “It was okay. But I think it’s because I saw you again as to why,”
You laughed and shoved him slightly, “You play too much,”
“How was it for you?” He said.
“It was good. Thanks again for bringing my calculator,”
“Of course. I had to find you again,”
“Why?”
“Because I want to get to know you,”
You looked down, suddenly feeling insecurities rise upon you. Why would he want to get to know you?
“I forgot to wear my mask today,”
“So?”
“I…I was just saying that’s why I look different. You’re probably not really interested. It was probably the illusion of the mask,”
He placed a finger under your chin, raising your face up, forcing you to take eye contact with him. “I mean what I say, I want to get to know you. And without the mask, I think you’re beautiful the same,”
You felt your face warm up and if you were a bit lighter, you’re sure you would have been caught blushing.
“Let me take you out,” He said boldly. “After finals. It’ll be worth your time I promise,”
“You don’t even know my name,”
He used his other hand and tucked a twist behind your ear, “What’s your name pretty?”
“Y/N. My name is Y/N,” You said with a soft smile.
He smiled at you back. Your name was beautiful as you were. “Would you go on a date with me Y/N?”
“Yeah, I would,” You said with a giggle.
“You know, I’m actually really glad you left your calculator,”
You gasped and hit him playfully, “You play too much,”
He laughed as he gently took your hand and walked with you. He knew that you were glad too, you just didn’t want to admit it as yet.

gurlll (not literally idk) pls imagine jeongin sub and reader dom making him with one of that vibrators pls i cant
Masterlist
☆゚
sub!jeongin would be such a dreeeeam. he’s still figuring out what he likes within the realm of kinks and is willing to try anything once. suggesting using a vibrator on him… he’s sold instantly. as in grabs your hand and drags you to the bedroom and drops his pants so fast you get whiplash.
he wouldn’t know what to ask for or how to ask for it in the beginning and doesn’t want to upset you :( just wants to be good no matter what position he’s in. you would have to teach him— and he’s a visual learner, so take note! gently guide him, praise and reassure that he can ask for things because he won’t unless given permission.
that’s another thing, he won’t disobey. it’s not in his nature to be a brat. teasing, maybe, but never a brat.
the vibrator though, he gets it. he understands why sometimes people prefer it to actual penetration. the mind numbing buzz, muffled sound when you hold it a little tighter in your hand. he’s naked and on his back, mouth watering at the prospect of the electricity on his skin. actually has the widest stare you‘be ever seen. the definition of 🥺 cus he’s excited, nervous, hard.
jeongin is handsy in bed, so when you tell him to keep them to himself, he audibly whimpers before you’ve even started to touch him.
he’s such a good sport about it, though. you’re impressed he can even listen with how it looks like drool is starting to drip from the corner of his mouth, he can hardly contain himself.
all comfy with his head in the pillows, you sitting over him with the toy in hand, you don’t even need to be naked for him to be throbbing, just getting to look at you is enough. but you’re taking so long :( why won’t you touch him already? why do you keep staring at him like that? he’s been so enthusiastic, please just touch him already.
oh, but a kiss first, he’ll take that. he’ll take anything you give him, really. but he especially loves when you kiss him and run your hands down his body. you bring the vibrator up for him to see, watch as you turn it on and let the tip of it buzz against his chest. he likes it, it tickles a little, but in a good way. he can’t say it because if he opens his mouth, he might say something that’ll make you stop. fuck, he doesn’t want you to stop.
you slowly, tauntingly run the vibrator lightly down his pecks, his abdomen, across his pelvis avoiding his twitching cock and the small puddle of precum dripping down. all the way down the length of his legs and back up, he feels weightless already. jeongin can’t help the small whine when you return to his midsection and lean down to place a small kiss on his cheek.
the yelp that comes out of his mouth as you take him in one hand and hover the toy over his tip sounded like a whole new person, that’s a sound he’s never made before. oh, and it doesn’t stop. he keeps whimpering like that as you graze it down his leaking cock, as you pull it away just to press it fully against the throbbing head. the warmth of your hand, your breath against his cheek, whispering sweet nothings in his ear, jeongin feels everything at once and it’s over before he can even say thank you, cum splattering across his chest and stomach with twitching hips that refuse to slow down.
you pull the toy away and continue to kiss his cheek and stroke his hair as his breathing returns to normal. what a fucking feeling, he can’t believe anything that just happened.
you’re smiling at him, telling him the blush on his cheeks is cute and asking how he’s feeling. fucking great, not a care in the world or weight on his shoulders.
“good,” you tell him.
good?
what’s good?
oh no, you’re looking at him like that again. he just wants to hold you, can he hold you? he can’t look away, your eyes are so pretty but so terrifying.
when you grab his cock again, his entire body shudders and gasps. he shoots you a glare, “what are you doing? i— i already came, i don’t think i can—“
“you will.”
he understands why some people prefer vibrators. he really, really does.

snowy morning
a/n. i planned to write this for gyu but i figured that innie barely has anything :( i’m sorry all the jeongin enthusiasts 🙏 i promise i’ll work on this!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
jeongin groans loudly, too tired to open his eyes. he just woke up and he’s tired already. good thing it’s weekend and you’re by his side–
“y/n?” he calls out with a raspy, morning voice when his hand lands on a cold mattress instead of you.
“innie, it’s snowing!” you chirp happily, turning around from facing the pretty view to look at even more beautiful one.
jeongin sighs dramatically, slowly sitting up and rubbing his eyes. the dark locks of his hair are sticking in every direction possible, making it impossible not to smile.
“look!” you point at the window, turning your gaze back at the snow petals swirling in the air. the city was covered in white, fluffy snow making it look magical.
“so pretty…” jeongin murmurs and you’re ready to agree but then you realise he’s talking about you.
he grins and pats the cold, empty spot next to him.
“come back here. we can cuddle and look at the snow together, hm?” your boyfriend offers, noticing your red ears. and you give in, because how you could say no?

how they´d react when you catch them starring at you.../skz ot8
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-chan
he would be starring at you while you´re talking and get so lost in your beauty, he wouldn´t even notice when you stopped talking bc you caught him starring. When he finally did he´d shyly smile and and give a little peck on your nose, making you all blushy and him giggle
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-lee know
okay so lee know would just stare in the most obvious way you can imagine, just being mesmerized by your sight and then when you´d turn to him, cuz you obviously noticed, he would wink at you and start to just fully on flirting
(also ik this is 100% accurate cuz he does that with han:)))
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-changbin
he would be looking at you ALL THE TIME, starring at you from across the whole room, eyes always on you and grinning to himself. When you see him looking at you like that he´d send hearts and flying kisses to you because he knows that you start blushing whenever he does
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Hyunjin
would be starring so long that he´d take pictures for it to last longer and would have a whole album on his phone just with your pictures and you actually wouldn´t even notice cuz he´s being very subtle about it. When you sometimes actually did notice him starring, he wouldn´t care and just keep on starring for so long that he can´t take it anymore and squeeze's your face bc he´s so overwhelmed by your cuteness
-jisung
stares at you with the biggest and most loving eyes when you´re telling him about something that really excised you and are passionate about. While you´re still in the middle of talking he´d just say things like "You´re beautiful" ,"-What?"and knowing you heard him the first time he´d just continue staring and you´d start talking again but this time calmer since you´re now aware that he´s staring at you and you can´t focus anymore either
-felix
FULL ON STARRING and being obsessed with how cute you are "am I that ugly...?" "WHAT" "you´ve been staring at me" would come to you and litter your face with butterfly kisses ALL OVER your face and bombard you with all existing compliments
-seungmin
would try to hide that he´s starring but when you caught him he´d blush and start denying it "don´t deny it, i saw you did!" "no i was just looking at that thing under your eye..." "What? is it an eyelash??" "Wait" he´d come closer to swipe it away ,but then give you a lill peck on your cheek, this time making him laugh and you blush
-jeongin
wouldn´t even notice himself when he was starring at you because he´s literally mesmerized by you and would just get lost in your eyes and just YOU. would blush and look away immediately when you caught him but still give you a little peck on your cheek

So Wrong, It's Right
Tumblr media
Pairing: foster brother!Jeongin x fem!reader
AU: non-idol au (forbidden love)
Word Count: 17.6k
Summary: Jeongin knew it was wrong to harbour feelings for his adoptive elder sister, but it wasn't something he could control. Convinced that the silly crush would fade as he aged, he was proven wrong when the feelings he fought hard to bury resurfaced years later. What happens when the lines between foster siblings and something more begin to blur?
A/N: Based on a wild ass dream I had of Jeongin being my brother. You won't believe how upset I was because of that lmfao.
MAIN MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
"Honey, come over and say hi to Jeongin." Your parents called out, standing beside your new brother.
The adorable 14-year-old boy fixed his gaze on you with wide, awe-filled eyes as you descended the staircase of your home. A radiant smile graced your face, and you waved excitedly at him, exclaiming, "Hi, Jeongin! It's nice to meet you. From now on, I'll be your sister. Just call me noona, okay?"
He nodded, the rapid thumping of his heart resonating in his chest as he admired your striking presence, "H-hi, noona," He stammered, his cheeks turning a rosy shade as he met your gaze, "It's, um, really nice to meet you too."
The decision to adopt Jeongin might have been a sudden one, but you wouldn't have it any other way. Looking at him now, you understood why your parents felt the need to take him in.
Your parents stumbled upon him at a nearby bakery one day, they watched as he stood pitifully alone.
With a sense of curiosity and kindness, your parents struck up a conversation with the young boy, who had been gazing longingly at a display of freshly baked bread from outside the shop. They noticed his hesitant demeanour and asked, "Why aren't you going inside, young man? The bread is delicious!"
Jeongin hesitated at first, but he saw the genuine concern in their eyes. He admitted with a heavy heart, "I don't have any money, and I can't afford to buy anything."
Concerned, your mother inquired further, "Did you run out of pocket money your parents gave you?"
It was then that Jeongin felt compelled to share his difficult truth. With a tremor in his voice, he confessed, "I don't have parents. I live in a nearby orphanage, and we're all struggling. There isn't much money for anything, really."
Your father decided to take matters into his own hands. He bought Jeongin all the bread he had been eyeing, as well as some sweet pastries, and the three of them sat together, sharing stories and laughter in the bakery.
Jeongin had never felt such warmth before.
The couple sat there, fully absorbed in the boy's passionate storytelling about his aspirations.
He spoke animatedly about his dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher or a social worker, eager to extend his help and care to children who, like him, were in need of love and guidance. His eyes sparkled with unwavering determination, and it was evident to them that he was not just a good kid but a remarkable young soul deserving of so much more in life.
After they left the bakery, your parents escorted him back to the orphanage, where the bleak conditions of the place broke their hearts. It was a stark contrast to the loving home they created for you. The poor children there were deprived of even the most basic necessities.
Later that night, after a long and heartfelt discussion with you, your parents decided to extend their love and generosity to Jeongin.
They welcomed him into your family, providing him not only with a loving home but also the opportunity for a brighter future. The decision was a life-changing one for all of you, as you opened your hearts and home to the young boy who had touched your lives so profoundly.
To your parents' absolute relief, you and Jeongin got along extremely well. He may have been a little shy at first, but with all the initiative you took in getting him to open up to you, he eventually did.
One afternoon as the school bell chimed the end of another gruelling day, you and Jeongin found yourselves making your way home together. High school had been a whirlwind of challenges, but the bond you'd formed with your brother made it a little brighter. You were a senior, and he was a freshman, but your connection transcended the age gap.
As you walked along the tree-lined path that led to your neighbourhood, you reminisced about how this friendship had all begun. It was that very path where Jeongin first opened up about his dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher or a social worker. His dream resonated with you and became a shared vision.
You looked over at him, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes as he recounted a funny moment from class, and you smiled at that. The two of you started this journey as siblings, but over the course of a year, your relationship deepened into something more, a friendship that was founded on trust and shared experiences.
You remembered the days when you invited Jeongin to join your lunch group, which consisted of your close friends, Chan and Minho.
They welcomed him with open arms, treating him like a little brother. Chan, the ever-protective and caring friend, had taken Jeongin under his wing, offering advice and guidance. Minho, the laid-back and funny one, had been the source of laughter and camaraderie that made Jeongin feel right at home.
Together, you formed a tight-knit quartet.
Lunch hours became a time of shared laughter, stories, and secrets. Chan would often share stories of his younger sister and brother, which allowed Jeongin to see that sibling relationships could evolve into something deeper and more profound.
The year passed by in a whirlwind of exams, late-night study sessions, and adventures. And in that time, the bond between you and Jeongin had grown stronger. As you approached your house, you felt grateful for the way your friendship had developed.
You knew that this shared journey was just the beginning of an extraordinary chapter in both of your lives.
As the days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Jeongin did his best to navigate the tumultuous waters of his feelings. He knew, deep down, that it wasn't right to have these emotions for you, even if you weren't biologically related. You were his adoptive sister, and the societal norms made it clear that such feelings were taboo.
But the heart, as they say, has a mind of its own.
Jeongin was determined to suppress his romantic feelings and focus on the friendship that blossomed between the two of you. He took every measure he could to see you as nothing more than his friend and big sister.
When you invited him to hang out with your friends, he eagerly participated in the activities, valiantly trying to blend in with the group. He laughed at their jokes, shared their interests, and offered his own opinions to the conversations. In the midst of it all, he felt himself slipping into the role of your little brother without a choice.
Late-night study sessions were another challenge.
As you worked together on assignments and helped each other prepare for exams, Jeongin had to remind himself that this closeness was borne from a shared pursuit of knowledge, not an opportunity for romantic connection. He focused on the task at hand, suppressing the romantic thoughts that occasionally tried to intrude.
His determination to maintain the purity of your sibling relationship was fueled by his admiration for you. You became his role model, a paragon of kindness and ambition. He appreciated the way you always had his back and the encouragement you gave him in pursuing his dreams.
Despite the occasional flutter of his heart and the way his cheeks might flush when you smiled, he persisted in viewing you as the friend and sister that you were meant to be.
He took comfort in the warmth of your friendship, hoping that with time, the inappropriate feelings he struggled with would fade away, leaving behind a bond that was deeper and more profound than any fleeting crush.
Time flew by, and the next thing you all knew, the day of your high school graduation arrived.
As you walked across the stage, beaming with pride, to accept your diploma, Jeongin watched from the audience, sitting with your parents. It was a bittersweet moment for him, and his heart swelled with a mix of pride and sadness.
Seeing that beautiful smile on your face as you held that symbolic piece of paper in your hands was a moment he would treasure forever. Your success meant the world to him, but at the same time, he felt a pang of sadness. You were about to leave for Seoul City to pursue your dreams of becoming an author, leaving behind the life you've known.
He knew that the upcoming separation was inevitable. In a way, he believed it might be for the best. This time apart could serve as a respite, a chance for him to reflect on his feelings and, hopefully, come to terms with them. The intensity of his emotions had not waned, and he understood that it was time to face the reality of his situation.
The idea of missing you was painful, but he knew that he needed to work on getting over his romantic feelings.
He hoped that in your absence, he could focus on his own personal growth and, perhaps, redirect his ambitions toward becoming the kind-hearted and supportive person you've always been for him.
Jeongin made a silent promise to himself that he would use this time apart to heal and grow, while always cherishing the special bond you had as siblings. Your graduation marked the beginning of a new chapter for both of you, and he was determined to make the most of it, both for your sake and his own.
As the day of your departure arrived, you stood at the entrance of your home, a mix of excitement and sadness in your heart, with Minho by your side helping you load your luggage into the car's trunk while Chan was already seated in the driver's seat.
The three of you had been accepted into the same college, which felt like a stroke of luck, even though you were pursuing different degrees.
Your parents hugged you tightly and repeated their words of advice and affection. They wanted to ensure you were prepared for the adventures and challenges that awaited you in the big city. It was a heartwarming scene filled with warmth, support, and love.
When it was Jeongin's turn to bid you farewell, he didn't hesitate. He wrapped his arms tightly around you, burying his face in your neck. The embrace was filled with an unspoken fear of the unknown. He didn't know when he would see you again, and he wanted to hold you as close as he could at this moment.
You smiled, even as tears welled up in your eyes, and you gently stroked the back of his head to comfort him, "I promise I'll come back during breaks, Jeongin-ah." You reassured him.
He pulled back slightly, his eyes glistening with unshed tears, "You better, noona. I'll miss you."
You chuckled, your voice filled with tenderness, "I'll miss you too, cutie pie. Take care of mum and dad for me, will you?"
He nodded, holding onto your hands tightly, ignoring the rapid fluttering of his heart. With a reluctant smile, he waved at Minho and Chan before watching somberly as you got into Chan's car. The engine roared to life, and you all began to drive away, leaving your childhood home behind.
Jeongin's gaze remained locked on the car, a mixture of sadness, longing, and hope swirling in his heart as he silently wished you a bright and fulfilling journey.
Over the next four years, life took you and Jeongin in different directions.
You immersed yourself in the college experience, pursuing your passion for literature and growing as an aspiring author. The bustling city provided the backdrop for your personal and academic adventures. You met new friends, experienced new cultures, and even dated a few guys during your college years.
But, no matter how much your life expanded, a piece of your heart always remained at home.
On the other hand, Jeongin was making his own journey through high school, diligently focusing on his studies. While you were away, he thrived academically, often being the top student in his class. He poured himself into extracurricular activities and helped out at the orphanage whenever he could.
The multiple confessions from girls at his school came and went, but he politely declined each one. He was determined to bury his feelings for you, convinced that by the time he graduated high school, he could move forward without the weight of an unrequited love.
The two of you had your share of brief reunions during semester breaks. Each time, you were greeted with a warm hug and that familiar, heartwarming smile from Jeongin. Your family remained the constant support system in both of your lives, and it was always a comfort to come home to their open arms.
Despite your separations, the bond between you remained strong. You would often talk late into the night, sharing stories of your college experiences, the people you met, and your dreams for the future. In those moments, it was clear that your relationship was built on something more profound than mere biology.
Jeongin's determination to let go of his romantic feelings for you was evident in his endless support and encouragement.
He wanted nothing more than to see you succeed, and the happiness in your eyes was all that mattered to him. With each passing semester, he hoped that he was one step closer to the day when his heart would finally let go of the unattainable dream that had haunted him since he met you.
On one of the weekends when you returned home for a traditional festive celebration, the house was filled with the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals and laughter. After a hearty dinner with your parents, you and Jeongin retreated to your room.
As you sat side by side on your queen-sized bed, you couldn't contain your excitement, eager to share all the fun and exciting things that happened during the semester. Your eyes sparkled, and your voice was filled with enthusiasm as you recounted your adventures. Jeongin, being the attentive and caring brother he's always been, listened intently, hanging on your every word.
He noticed how happy you appeared, and he couldn't help but comment, "You seem really happy, noona."
You blushed slightly, a shy smile playing on your lips, "Well," You began hesitantly, "There's this guy I've been seeing. I really like him."
Jeongin's expression remained neutral, but a pang of heartache pierced through his chest. He accepted the truth that it was forbidden to love you in a romantic way, no matter how deeply he felt for you. He knew he could only be happy for you if you found someone who was genuinely right for you.
He continued to watch you with endearing affection as you mumbled sleepily, exhaustion finally catching up with you, "I missed you so much, Jeongin-ah." You whispered, the words barely audible as you began to drift into slumber.
Gently pushing a strand of hair away from your face, he let out a soft, wistful sigh. His unspoken emotions remained trapped within his heart as he watched over you, the love in his gaze too deep and too forbidden to ever be shared.
Jeongin muttered softly, his voice barely above a whisper, "I missed you too, noona, more than you could ever know." His heart ached with the weight of unsaid words, with emotions too heavy to bear. He leaned down to press a gentle kiss on your forehead, a silent promise of love and protection, before tucking you in with great care.
As he left your room, he did so quietly, as if trying to keep the sanctity of the moment undisturbed. The sadness that had been gnawing at his heart began to intensify as he returned to his own room, which suddenly felt much emptier than usual.
He sat on the edge of his bed, the turmoil in his heart almost unbearable. He wondered if he would ever truly move on from the feelings he had for you. Every time he felt like he made a little progress, it all crumbled when he saw you again, heard your voice, or felt your presence. It was a constant struggle, a daily battle against the emotions he tried so hard to suppress.
He knew that the path he had chosen, one of being content with being your brother and nothing more, was the right one.
But the ache in his heart, the longing that seemed to grow stronger with every reunion, made it painfully clear that moving on was going to be a lot harder than he'd ever imagined. Jeongin rested his head in his hands, lost in the torment of a love that could never be, hoping that someday he could find the strength to truly let go and move on from the impossible dream that held his heart captive.
As you entered your final year of college, the weight of schoolwork and academic responsibilities pressed upon you, leaving little room for anything else. This time, you couldn't make it home for the traditional festive celebrations, and the absence of your presence left an undeniable void in your family's hearts.
Jeongin, in particular, felt the absence keenly.
But he saw an opportunity in your absence, an opportunity to create some distance and try to avoid thinking about you. He decided to dedicate all his thoughts and focus to his own senior year of high school. He filled every available moment with extracurricular activities and volunteering, immersing himself in various projects, and contributing to his school and the orphanage.
The idea was to keep his mind preoccupied, to allow himself to grow and develop independently, far away from the influence of unrequited love. Although your absence was painful, Jeongin believed it might help him in the long run.
During this time, the only updates he received were through your social media. He saw photos and stories of you with a guy named Mingyu, whom he assumed was the one you mentioned that night. The pain of seeing those updates, the envy that welled up inside him, and the realisation that you've found happiness with someone else was like a bitter pill to swallow.
Yet, that pain became his driving force.
The hurt and envy he felt served as a catalyst for him to finally let go of the romantic feelings that had haunted him for so long. He used these emotions to motivate himself to move forward and to continue building a future that didn't revolve around you.
With each post he saw, he allowed the heartache to be a reminder that his heart needed to heal and that it was time to focus on his own dreams and aspirations. It was a painful process, but he was determined to emerge from it stronger and ready to embrace a life without the burden of unrequited love.
Towards the end of that year, Jeongin began to feel like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders.
It was as though he could finally breathe again, no longer haunted by the painful emotions that had plagued him whenever he saw anything you posted with Mingyu. He made remarkable progress in letting go of the feelings he once thought he had for you.
As the final months of his high school life passed by, he realised that he could genuinely be happy for you. Seeing you with Mingyu no longer stirred up jealousy or heartache. Instead, it brought a sense of contentment, knowing you've found love and happiness.
On Jeongin's graduation day, he stood proudly on the podium as the valedictorian, delivering a heartfelt speech that moved not only his fellow graduates but also your parents, who watched with pride and tears in their eyes. It was a day of celebration, a recognition of his hard work and dedication.
While he knew you weren't able to make it due to your final exams, he wasn't too upset. In fact, he couldn't wait for the surprise he had in store for you. You didn't know it yet, but Jeongin had been accepted into the same college as you. He would soon be near you again, and he couldn't wait to see the look of shock and joy on your face when he finally revealed his plans to be near you.
It was the beginning of a new journey for both of you, one that held the promise of rekindling the bond you shared as siblings and exploring the infinite possibilities of the future together.
On your college graduation day, you hugged your parents tightly, your heart filled with pride and accomplishment. As you held them close, your excitement couldn't be contained, and you couldn't help but ask, "Where's Jeongin? I can't wait to see him."
Your parents exchanged a cheeky grin, and you noticed their mischievous smiles, "He has a surprise for you," Your mother said, her eyes twinkling with anticipation, "He'll be coming to see you soon."
Your curiosity was piqued, and you pleaded with them to reveal more details, but they remained resolute, sharing only vague hints about the surprise. Your parents had a knack for keeping secrets, and they weren't about to give away the surprise before the right moment.
But as the graduation ceremony drew to a close and your fellow graduates reunited with their families, there was no sign of Jeongin. You felt a mix of emotions, a blend of anticipation and disappointment.
Eventually, it became clear that you wouldn't get to see your brother on this special day. Your parents had to leave to return home, and you remained in Seoul where you were set to start your new job at a well-known media organisation. It was a bittersweet ending to the day, filled with both professional excitement and a sense of longing to see your family, especially Jeongin, who had promised a surprise.
Looking out at the cityscape, you wondered what the surprise could be and when your brother would finally reveal it.
As the clock struck 10pm, you sighed, realising that it was time to retire to your bedroom. The disappointment of not having seen Jeongin on your graduation day weighed heavily on your heart. You missed him terribly, especially after an entire year of separation.
With a heavy heart, you got up and prepared to turn off the lights in your apartment's living room. You were about to retreat to your bedroom when, suddenly, the doorbell rang. You froze in place, and your heart skipped a beat. The unexpected sound sent a jolt of excitement through you.
Without a second thought, you hurried to the door and pulled it open. Your breath caught in your throat, and you felt tears welling up in your eyes at the sight of the person you've longed to see. It was Jeongin, standing before you, a shy smile playing on his lips.
You cried out his name, overcome with emotion, and without hesitation, you jumped into his awaiting arms. He held you close, his arms wrapped securely around you. The feeling of his presence, the warmth of his embrace, and the sound of his voice whispering, "Surprise, noona," was like a dream come true.
Tears of joy streamed down your cheeks as you held onto him, unable to believe that he was here, in the city with you, after all this time.
The longing for him had been replaced with an overwhelming sense of happiness and love. Your heart felt complete as you held your brother close, knowing that this surprise reunion was a moment to cherish for a lifetime.
Settled in your living room, you finally had the opportunity to take a proper look at Jeongin. You noticed just how much he's grown over the past year. He looked mature, and it was evident that he was no longer the cute little boy you once remembered.
He became undeniably good-looking, and it was clear to you that he must have been a heartbreaker during his final school year. You couldn't resist teasing him about it after you told him how proud you were of him for graduating as valedictorian, which only made him blush and shyly dismiss your compliments.
After a round of lighthearted jokes, you turned serious and asked the question that's been bothering you, "Why did you miss my graduation, Jeongin-ah?"
He finally decided to tell you the truth, "I'm starting my early childhood education degree at the college you just graduated from," He admitted, "I had to settle into the dormitory during the day, and I couldn't make it to the ceremony."
Your eyes widened, realisation dawning on you. You gasped, "You're going to be here, near me from now on?"
Jeongin's face broke into a bright smile, his eyes filled with excitement, "Yes, noona. I'm going to be here, and I can't wait to spend more time with you."
The thought that your brother was now living in the same city and attending the same college as you filled you with joy. You felt a surge of protectiveness and a desire to look after him, now that he was here. You excitedly volunteered, "You know what? You're not going to be alone in this big city. I'll take care of you now."
His smile widened, and he happily accepted your offer.
As the night wore on, you and Jeongin spent hours catching up, sharing stories, and reminiscing about old times. The bond you shared felt as strong as ever, and you both enjoyed every moment of it. The laughter and conversations flowed seamlessly, bridging the gap that a year of separation had created.
Eventually, as the hours passed, it became clear that there was no way Jeongin could head back to his dormitory at this late hour. You insisted that he spend the night at your place, assuring him that you'd drop him off at the dorm the next day.
The two of you settled in your cosy living room, reminiscing about your childhood and discussing your plans for the future. But as the night grew quieter and the two of you sprawled on your bed, the conversation took a more serious turn. Jeongin, his head propped up on his arm, mustered the courage to ask you about Mingyu.
Your smile faltered, and you gazed at the ceiling for a moment. You softly admitted, "We actually broke up just before graduation."
Jeongin couldn't deny the mixture of emotions that washed over him upon hearing the news. He tried to keep his expression neutral, not wanting to show any trace of his own feelings.
Truth be told, he knew he was hopeless from the moment he saw you again. You looked even more beautiful than he remembered, and his heart ached with longing. He tried to keep himself in check, to focus on being a good brother and a friend to you. But when you admitted that you were single again, a spark of hope ignited within him.
His concern was evident in his eyes as he asked, "Are you alright? What happened with Mingyu?"
You sighed heavily, the weight of your recent breakup still lingering in your heart, "I'm still working on healing from it," You admitted, "Mingyu got an opportunity to work abroad, and he didn't want to have a long-distance relationship. It was a mutual decision, but it's been really tough."
As you spoke, the disappointment and heartache came rushing back, and tears welled up in your eyes. The emotions you've been trying to hold back finally overflowed, and you started to cry. Jeongin didn't waste a moment. He pulled you close into his arms, kissing the top of your head and held you tightly as you sobbed into his chest.
Through your tears, you heard his soothing words, "I'm here for you, no matter what happens. You can always rely on me."
Nodding against him, you felt the warmth and comfort he provided. At that moment, you realised that your little brother wasn't so little anymore. He's grown into a dependable and caring presence in your life. With him by your side, you felt less alone.
In the quiet of the night, Jeongin watched as you gradually found comfort and rest beside him. He pulled the duvet up and tucked you in gently, ensuring you were warm and snug. As he gazed at your peaceful face, he couldn't resist leaning in to kiss your forehead softly, his lips brushing against your skin with tenderness.
With great care, he settled down next to you, the events of the day and your emotional conversation lingering in his mind. Seeing you so upset and heartbroken, he felt the need to help you find happiness again, even if it meant putting his own desires and feelings aside.
As he closed his eyes and began to drift off to sleep, his thoughts were filled with one singular purpose: to be the supportive, loving brother you needed to overcome the pain of your breakup. With determination, he silently vowed to be by your side, offering his love and comfort, ready to help you heal and find happiness once more.
The next day, you took Jeongin to his dormitory, pulling up to the entrance of the building. As he gathered his things and prepared to get out of the car, you shared a warm hug with him, leaning in to kiss him on the cheek before you drove off, a fond smile on your face.
Unbeknownst to both of you, Jeongin's roommate, Felix, had been standing by the entrance, watching the entire scene with a hint of amusement in his eyes. He grinned smugly as he saw the blush forming on Jeongin's face.
As he climbed out of the car, Felix couldn't resist teasing him.
"Whoa there, Jeongin," Felix said, crossing his arms and wearing an amused expression, "Already found yourself an older girlfriend here, huh?"
Jeongin's smile faltered slightly as he considered Felix's words. He hesitated for a moment before deciding to clear things up, "No, Felix. She's my foster sister."
Felix's playful demeanour quickly shifted to one of surprise and apologetic understanding. He realised that Jeongin's feelings for you might be more complex than he initially thought, and he decided not to press the matter further.
Jeongin's situation was a delicate one, and Felix respected that. As he stepped into the dormitory with Jeongin, he silently hoped that his roommate would find happiness and navigate the complex emotions he felt for his foster sister in his own way.
A few months passed since you started your new job, and Jeongin has settled comfortably into college life as well. You both made an effort to meet up during the weekends, cherishing the time you could spend together when neither of you had prior commitments.
This particular weekend, he came to your apartment for a cosy dinner and movie night. Before the night's activities, you decided to go grocery shopping to stock up on all the snacks and ingredients you needed. You grabbed a couple of bags, and together, you headed to the local supermarket, laughing and chatting along the way.
Jeongin accompanied you as much as he could, always by your side, not wanting you to be stuck alone with your thoughts of Mingyu.
In the grocery store, you both carefully selected the items you needed for your movie night, exchanging playful banter and sharing smiles as you navigated the aisles.
As you reached for an item perched on the top shelf of the aisle, you found yourself struggling to grasp it. Your fingertips barely brushed the edge of the product, and you huffed in frustration. Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed Jeongin snickering at your predicament.
Unwilling to give in to your momentary defeat, you stretched on your tiptoes, hoping to reach the item. But it was futile, and you sighed, admitting defeat.
Just when you were about to abandon your mission, you felt a presence behind you. Jeongin moved close, his warm breath brushing against your ear as he whispered, "Let me help."
He reached up effortlessly, plucking the item from the shelf with ease. As you turned your head slightly to look up at him, you were met with the close proximity of his face. The moment felt charged with unspoken tension, and your breaths hitched as you gazed into his eyes.
You couldn't deny how manly and handsome Jeongin has become. His features matured, and there was a quiet confidence about him that made your heart race. It seemed that he, too, was affected by the close proximity, his eyes flicking briefly to your lips.
Before either of you could react to the electric moment, an elderly woman passed by, and her eyes twinkled with amusement as she cooed at the two of you, "Aww, young love is so adorable."
You blinked rapidly, caught off guard by the unexpected comment. You moved away from him, shaking your head, "N-no, we're not—"
But the elderly woman waved you off before you could explain, her knowing smile intact as she walked away, leaving the two of you with a moment of embarrassment and the unspoken awareness that perhaps there was something more to your bond.
Despite the pounding of your heart and the replay of that intimate moment in your mind, you chose to continue on as if nothing had happened. It was the safer route, the one that preserved the comfortable sibling relationship you've cherished for so long.
As you moved through the store, your conversations and laughter returned to their usual ease.
You picked up groceries, playfully teased each other, and shared stories about your week. It was as though the elderly woman's comment had never happened, and you felt a mixture of relief and uncertainty about the unspoken tension that lingered between you and your brother.
For Jeongin, that quick glimpse he saw in your eyes has stirred something within him. He knew, even if just for a moment, that you didn't see him as just a brother.
It was a tiny glimmer of hope, a spark of possibility that he couldn't ignore. He tried to keep his own feelings in check, not wanting to jeopardise the relationship you shared, but the knowledge that there was a chance beyond being just siblings remained in the back of his mind.
After your grocery shopping adventure, you and Jeongin returned home to prepare dinner together.
You decided to make your mother's famous soybean stew, hoping to recreate the comforting flavours of home. As you began cutting up the ingredients, you found yourself struggling with the knife, and a momentary lapse of concentration nearly resulted in a close call as the blade neared your finger.
Before any harm could befall you, Jeongin rushed to your side. He gently took the knife from your hand, placing it aside. Like a mother hen looking after her chick, he instructed you to take care of the simpler tasks, ensuring your safety.
As you carried out the tasks he assigned you, you watched his back as he expertly worked on preparing the stew.
His competence and caring nature were on full display, and you couldn't deny that you liked what you were seeing. For a brief moment, you found yourself thinking.
I could get used to this.
But you quickly snapped out of your trance, realising the implications of what you've just thought. You've always seen Jeongin as your little brother, but now you wondered if your feelings for him were evolving into something more complex. The realisation left you feeling a mix of emotions, both uncertain and intrigued about the uncharted territory that lay ahead.
As you both enjoyed the homemade dinner, you finally took notice of his attentive actions.
They were hard to miss as he carefully blew on the stew to cool it down before feeding you the first spoonful. His gaze was unwavering as he watched you savour the flavours, and he didn't hesitate to wipe the corner of your lips when a grain of rice got stuck there. He even made sure your bowl was filled with all your favourite things and took the items you liked the least for himself.
In that moment, you wondered if he'd always been this attentive or if these actions were only becoming more pronounced recently. You questioned if you were overthinking it or if there was a possibility that Jeongin could see you as more than a sister.
Recalling what the elderly woman said about you two in the supermarket earlier, you realised that he hadn't bothered to correct her at all. He simply smiled shyly to himself when he thought you weren't looking. It was a small but significant detail, and it left you with an unspoken question that hung in the air between you and your foster brother: was there something more to your relationship than mere sibling affection?
After dinner, you find yourself doing the dishes in the kitchen, trying to focus on the task at hand and push those silly thoughts to the back of your mind. Jeongin has been your little brother since the day you met him, and it wasn't right to entertain such thoughts. You squeezed your eyes shut and told yourself not to give these emotions any time of the day.
Determined to shake off those uncertain feelings, you quickly finished the dishes and got cleaned up.
You made your way to the living room, where you found Jeongin laying out the snacks you bought earlier, preparing for your movie night. It was a cherished tradition for you both to play rock-paper-scissors to decide who got to pick the movie. You always fought hard to win because Jeongin loved horror movies, while you avoided them like the plague.
When the game ended and Jeongin won, you groaned loudly, preparing yourself for the horror flick that awaited you. But to your surprise, Jeongin handed you the remote instead, "I'll let you pick the movie just for tonight."
Little did you know, he had a hidden motive.
He was willing to sacrifice anything, even his own movie preference if it meant he could make you smile and forget about Mingyu, even if just for a little while.
Feeling a twinge of guilt that Jeongin had willingly given up what he wanted to watch for you, you decided to pick something that could please both of you. After some consideration, you chose a psychological horror film. It didn't have the typical jump scares, but it contained enough eerie and mysterious elements that you knew he would enjoy.
As the movie began, he couldn't hide the grin that spread across his face. He leaned over to tease you, saying, "Oh, a horror movie? Trying to toughen up, huh?"
You playfully slapped him on the arm, retorting, "Shut up and focus on the movie before I change my mind."
With a mischievous chuckle, he left you alone to enjoy the movie. But deep inside, Jeongin couldn't deny the happiness he felt. Your choice of the film was a thoughtful gesture. It was a simple act, but it spoke volumes about how much you cared for him.
As the movie progressed, you began to regret your decision bit by bit. The suspense and tension had you inching closer to your brother for comfort. He was focused on his snack when he felt your warmth getting nearer, prompting him to turn and check on you.
His heart melted at how adorable you looked, your eyes wide with anticipation and fear, as you worried about what was going to happen next in the movie. Unable to contain his amusement, he snickered and teased you, "Are you scared, noona?"
You scoffed and tried to act tough, "Psh, of course not." But your trembling hands and the way your eyes darted around the screen told a different story.
As Jeongin finished his snack, he cleaned his hands and opened his arms, "Come here."
This time, you didn't bother to keep up the facade. You gladly went into his familiar embrace, seeking the comfort and safety he offered. He pressed his cheek against the top of your head and muttered, "It's alright, I'll protect you."
You whimpered and snuggled even closer to him as the climax of the movie approached, seeking refuge in his comforting presence. Jeongin smiled, tightening his hold on you. This was precisely why he loved horror movies so much; they provided the perfect excuse to hold you close like this every time, and he cherished these moments more than anything.
After the heart-pounding horror movie, you decided to wind down the night with a cute animated film. You started to get up from your cosy spot in his embrace to change the movie, but he gently stopped you, his arms wrapped snugly around you.
When you looked up at him in question, he gave you a sheepish smile, "I'm too comfortable like this. Can't I keep my teddy bear a little longer?"
You chuckled and shook your head, realising that his hold was indeed quite comfortable. You settled back down in his arms, finding that perfect spot for your head between his neck and shoulder, and felt yourself relaxing.
As the animated film played, the warmth of his embrace and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat were incredibly soothing. Somewhere towards the end of the movie, your eyelids grow heavy, and you end up falling asleep.
Jeongin relished the moment, feeling your soft breathing against his neck. He pulled the throw blanket from the couch over your frame and nestled your head into the crook of his neck. It was a feeling of contentment he's longed for, and he held you closer, realising that it was becoming more and more difficult for him to hide his growing feelings, especially now that you were both away from your parents.
More time passed, and you experienced new emotions the more you spent time with Jeongin. He made your heart flutter more than once, and you found yourself having feelings that went beyond the bounds of sibling affection.
It was a bewildering and confusing experience, one you didn't dare voice to anyone, fearing the judgement and misunderstanding that might come with it. It felt like a taboo, a secret that was too delicate to share with anyone.
You kept these thoughts to yourself, trying to sort through your feelings. It was an emotional journey you were navigating alone, unsure of where it would lead.
The weekend arrived, and it was a perfect time to have Chan and Minho over to catch up. Jeongin was just as excited as you were to reunite with your friends, having built a strong bond with them over the years. Your living room was the designated hangout spot, and you all gathered there with bottles of soju.
As the evening progressed, stories flowed freely, punctuated by laughter and shared memories.
Jeongin was animated and engaged, contributing his own anecdotes to the lively conversation. It was one of those nights when you could forget about the complexities of life and simply enjoy the company of your closest friends.
But the tranquillity was shattered when Chan unexpectedly brought up your ex. He leaned back on the couch, one arm resting on the backrest, and casually mentioned, "Oh, by the way, I saw Mingyu in town the other day. It looks like he's back for good."
The room fell quiet as his words hung in the air. You didn't know how to feel about this revelation.
It has indeed been a while since you'd thought about Mingyu. His absence from your thoughts had been telling, but now it was all coming back. A swirl of emotions welled up within you, and you realised that your mind has been preoccupied with someone else recently, someone who has taken up more space in your heart than you'd ever expected.
Jeongin, sitting beside you, sensed the shift in the atmosphere and exchanged a concerned glance with Minho. You took a deep breath and tried to push those feelings aside, but the growing confusion and uncertainty about your emotions weighed heavily on your heart.
Realising how insensitive he must have sounded, Chan quickly offered an apology, "Gosh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up any bad memories or anything."
You offered him a reassuring smile, "It's okay, Chan. I'm fine, really. I've moved on." It was a half-truth, for you have indeed moved on, but your heart was now muddled with feelings you weren't sure how to process.
Trying to steer the conversation away from yourself, you asked, "How's Mingyu doing, though? Is he alright?"
Minho shot his friend a stern, warning glare.
Chan understood that he needed to tread carefully when discussing your ex, so he nodded and replied, "Mingyu seems to be doing okay. He's back in town, but... he seems different, more regretful about certain things. It seems like he's returned to make amends."
Jeongin, who had been quietly observing the conversation, grew increasingly concerned for you. He worked tirelessly to help you move past your previous relationship, and the last thing he wanted was for that guy to hurt you again. He checked on you, a mix of worry and protectiveness evident in his gaze.
As the night came to a close, you hugged Chan and Minho goodbye at the door as they prepared to leave. After they departed, you returned to the living room to start cleaning up the remnants of the evening – empty soju bottles and scattered snacks.
Jeongin, however, couldn't help letting his concern show. The thought of your ex returning seemed to be bothering him more than it was you. He approached you as you worked, his eyes filled with a mixture of worry and protectiveness.
"Are you really okay, noona?" He asked, searching your eyes for the truth.
You smiled warmly and reached out to ruffle his hair, assuring him, "I'm alright, Jeongin, don't worry."
But before you could retract your hand, he gently held onto it and brought it to his chest, his heart beating steadily beneath your fingers, "Noona," He implored, "Promise me you'll always come to me, no matter what happens."
The touch of his hand and words sent a rush of emotions through you. You nodded, squeezing his hand, "I promise, Jeongin-ah."
He took a step closer, his voice a little more earnest, "I'll always be your favourite boy, right?"
Your heart raced in your chest, and your pulse quickened at his words. You smiled, though it was tinged with a hint of nervousness, "Of course, silly. You know it."
The atmosphere between you two grew charged with unspoken emotions, feelings that were beginning to spill out of the boundaries of your sibling relationship.
As the days passed, you found yourself growing more and more conflicted about your feelings. Jeongin's actions had taken a bolder turn recently, and it was becoming increasingly difficult for you to convince yourself that his concern and care were purely brotherly.
You sighed, pushing those thoughts aside as you enjoyed a meal alone at a restaurant you frequented during your lunch break.
The pleasant atmosphere was disrupted when the entrance bell chimed, signalling the arrival of a customer. You instinctively looked up and froze in your seat when you saw who it was. Mingyu scanned the room and, upon spotting you, made his way to your table.
"Hi," He said, hesitating slightly, "Mind if I take a seat?"
You gulped, feeling a mix of surprise and uncertainty, but you nodded, saying, "Please."
You blinked and tried to regain your composure, continuing to eat as he settled in at the table with you. Eventually, he mustered the courage to break the silence and ask, "How have you been?"
Taking a deep breath, you managed a smile, "I've been great, thank you. And you?"
Mingyu's expression turned more serious, and he confessed, "I haven't been fine."
His regret was palpable as he continued to speak, "I shouldn't have broken up with you, not like that, not when there was nothing wrong with our relationship. I've spent all this time thinking about it, and I've missed you so much."
He leaned in a little closer, his gaze fixed on you, as he continued, "Since graduation, I haven't been able to stop thinking about you, and I realise now how much I've missed you. I've even transferred back to the local headquarters to be near you, to seek your forgiveness, and to make things right."
His words hung in the air, and the sincerity in his eyes was hard to ignore. It was clear that he was struggling with his own feelings of regret and longing, and he hoped you might be willing to give him another chance.
You sighed deeply, your heart heavy with the mixed emotions his reappearance has stirred within you, "Mingyu, I appreciate your honesty, but you need to understand that I've genuinely moved on from our relationship." The words were difficult to say, and they pierced his heart like knives.
He couldn't accept the fact, his voice tinged with desperation as he asked, "Is there someone else?"
Your eyes widened when Jeongin immediately came to mind, and you shook your head, "No, it's not about someone else. It's about the fact that from the moment you made that decision to end our relationship all those months ago, things changed, and they will never be the same again."
Feeling the need to distance yourself from this uncomfortable conversation, you pushed your chair back and rose from your seat. Mingyu chased after you, his expression filled with regret and apology, "I'm sorry for coming on so strong. I understand how you feel, and I know I deserve this, but I will work to earn your trust and forgiveness again."
Your emotions were all over the place, and you were caught in a whirlwind of feelings. Trying to escape the situation, you told him, "I have to go back to work."
With a heavy heart, you left the restaurant, leaving Mingyu standing there, knowing that he didn't deserve your forgiveness so easily after how he abandoned you.
When you returned home that day after work, your exhaustion was still lingering from the tense encounter with Mingyu. As you entered your apartment, you raised your brows in surprise to find Jeongin already there, bustling around the kitchen, and making dinner. He wasn't supposed to come over until the next day.
"Jeongin-ah, why are you here already?"
He turned to you with a warm smile, "My professor let us off early today, and I thought I'd come over and cook us a proper dinner. You always end up eating unhealthy instant food when you're alone, and I wanted to take care of you."
You managed a half-hearted smile, still feeling somewhat distraught after Mingyu's sudden reappearance and his desire to reenter your life. But Jeongin was perceptive, and he could read your emotions well. He turned off the gas and approached you, gently helping you take off your shoes.
When you told him it wasn't necessary, he sat you down on the couch and kneeled in front of you, taking your hands in his, making your heart flutter, "Are you okay, noona?" He asked, his eyes filled with genuine concern.
You let out a tired sigh, feeling comforted by his presence and deciding to be completely honest despite your initial intention of keeping this from him. You knew it would worry him, but you couldn't hold it in any longer.
You recounted what happened with Mingyu during lunch, and Jeongin tightened his hold on your hand as he listened.
His frown deepened, and he told you in a protective tone, "You should call me the next time he dares to bother you again. I'll make sure he doesn't trouble you."
You patted his head affectionately and reassured him, "Mingyu won't do anything to hurt me. He just wanted to talk, that's all."
Unable to resist the growing curiosity in his heart, he finally asked, "Noona, be honest with me. Do you still have any feelings for him?"
You contemplated for a moment, weighing your emotions before answering honestly, "No, Jeongin-ah, I don't."
As you looked properly into his eyes, your heart racing, you assured him once more, "I have truly moved on from Mingyu." If only Jeongin knew, it was him who has been occupying your thoughts lately, taking over every corner of your mind.
He sighed in relief, his fingers tenderly tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear, "I'll always be here for you, noona."
You smiled at his words, the warmth in your heart growing as you replied, "I know."
In an effort to lighten the mood, he gently pulled you up from the couch and led you into the kitchen. Your heart swelled with gratitude and affection as you watched him cook and take care of you, realising that, despite your initial intentions to care for him, it seemed like he was the one taking care of you more.
The following day, Jeongin decided to take you cafe hopping to help get your mind off your ex.
And it worked like a charm.
From the moment you stepped into the first cafe, you were fully distracted from any thoughts of Mingyu just by being near Jeongin. The day was filled with visits to countless cafes, each with its own unique concept and a menu of delicious, inventive desserts.
As you entered what felt like the fifth or maybe sixth cafe of the day, you'd lost count, but it didn't even matter. It was all about enjoying the moment with Jeongin. You giggled with delight as he ordered a drink served in the shape of a cute cartoon character, and he couldn't stop telling you how it resembled you.
Taking a sip, you didn't realise you'd gotten some foam on your lips until he leaned closer to gently wipe it away with his thumb. His touch lingered, and you found yourself staring up at him with wide eyes. The gaze you shared in that moment told you that there was so much more to your relationship than mere sibling love. It was a feeling that you couldn't ignore any longer.
Before you or Jeongin could say anything, a voice suddenly interrupted, "So this is what you've been so busy with? And you said there wasn't anyone else?"
Your head snapped up to see the person standing behind your brother, staring straight at you, and you stuttered, "M-Mingyu?"
Jeongin's eyes immediately narrowed as he got up from his seat and turned to face your ex, his protective instincts kicking in, "And what's it to you? Have you forgotten you were the one who wanted to break up? She's no longer your girlfriend, so don't make it seem like she's cheating on you. If you're apologetic, then at least act like it."
You panicked when you saw Mingyu's nostrils flare, "Wait a minute, I know you. Aren't you her brother? Why are you—"
You got up and stood between the two men, not wanting him to finish that sentence, "That's enough. Let's not do this in here." Realising what you said, Jeongin and Mingyu looked around to see the other customers staring at the three of you, bewildered by the dramatic scene.
In a hushed tone, you continued, "Let's talk outside."
Jeongin nodded, ready to protect you from any potential confrontation, while Mingyu reluctantly followed.
Outside, the chilly breeze hit your face, and you felt a mixture of emotions swirling within you, as the two important men in your life stood in front of you, ready to face whatever was coming next.
You let out a deep sigh and pressed your face into your hands, gathering your thoughts before facing your ex with an unhappy expression, "I'll be honest, I didn't appreciate your accusatory tone earlier," You looked straight into his eyes, "We've already broken up, Mingyu, and you don't have the right to question me like that."
Sensing that Jeongin was about to step in and add more aggressive words, you held onto his hand and shook your head, signalling for him to stay silent, and he gave in, squeezing your hand in support.
Mingyu looked remorseful and admitted his fault, "You're right. I let my jealousy get the best of me, and I'm sorry. I just... I really want you back."
Your heart ached at his words, but you knew you had to make it clear that there was no turning back this time. Letting go of Jeongin's hand, you moved to stand in front of Mingyu, locking eyes with him.
"Look, Mingyu, you need to understand something," You told him, your voice firm, "Our relationship was always on your terms. You decided to end it, and I respected that decision, even though it was hard for me. And now, just because you want me back, you can't expect me to drop everything and go back to the way things were. What about what I want?"
Your words hung heavily in the air as you challenged him. Mingyu looked taken aback, realising that he'd never considered your feelings and desires in your past relationship. The silence between you was palpable, and you awaited his response, hoping that he would finally understand your perspective.
The realisation of his past actions and selfishness hit your ex hard, like a tidal wave crashing over him.
He could now see how one-sided the relationship had been, always revolving around his feelings and desires, without ever considering what you wanted or needed. He felt a deep pang of guilt for being so blind to your feelings.
His hands trembled as he let out a shaky breath, his eyes reflecting the inner turmoil he was experiencing. Slowly, he nodded, his voice filled with remorse, "God, you're right, I've been so wrong. I've never considered what you wanted. You deserve someone better than me, someone who will prioritise your happiness above all else."
His apology was sincere, and he continued, "I'm so sorry for not being that person for you, for not treating you the way you should have been treated. I... I promise I won't bother you again, if that's what you want. You deserve to be happy."
You nodded in response, feeling a mix of relief and sadness, "Thank you, Mingyu, I appreciate it."
His words seemed heartfelt, and you hoped he would find the self-awareness to grow and change. With a heavy heart, you wished him well and turned to rejoin Jeongin, who was still standing by your side.
As he watched you walk away with Jeongin, your ex felt a bittersweet mix of emotions. The sight of you with someone else, whether it was your foster brother or a new love interest, weighed heavily on his heart. He knew he didn't have the right to be upset, for he was the one who had ended your relationship, and he understood that you deserved happiness, even if it was with someone else.
Mingyu noticed your interactions earlier in the café, and at first, he misunderstood them.
The way you looked at Jeongin, and the comfortable way you interacted, gave him the impression that there was more to your relationship than just sibling affection. He'd been so sure that he was witnessing a new romantic connection in your life, only to later realise that it was your brother.
Deep down, Mingyu recognised that it wasn't technically wrong for you to have a romantic relationship with Jeongin. After all, you were not blood-related, and your sibling relationship existed mainly on paper. The legal and technical aspects of your relationship didn't diminish the deep bond you shared.
With a heavy sigh, he turned and walked away, understanding that he needed to accept the reality of the situation and focus on his own growth and self-improvement.
Meanwhile, your walk home with Jeongin was filled with a heavy silence, broken only by the soft rustling of leaves in the wind. As the streets grew quieter, your mind grew louder with thoughts of the encounter with Mingyu.
His words echoed in your mind: "You deserve someone who would prioritise your happiness over anything else." It struck a chord within you, and you felt a twinge of fear. The realisation that followed scared you even more—the first person who came to mind was Jeongin.
Lately, you noticed that your interactions with him were blurring the lines between sibling affection and something more. It was a feeling you've tried to suppress, but it was becoming harder and harder to deny. The way he cared for you, the moments that felt more intimate than they should be for siblings, it was all starting to blur the boundaries.
The weight of it all settled heavily on your chest.
You worried about the implications of these feelings. What would it mean for your relationship with Jeongin, for your family, for your future? How would your parents react if they knew? What would your relatives and friends say?
The fear of it all consumed you, and you couldn't shake the unease that settled deep within. It was a battle between your heart and your rational mind, a conflict that left you feeling lost and uncertain about the path ahead.
Jeongin was incredibly perceptive, and he understood that you needed some space and time to process your thoughts and emotions. He didn't press you for conversation, instead remaining a supportive presence by your side, offering a comforting hand or a warm meal when you needed it.
The weekend passed in quiet contemplation, and you were grateful that he respected your need for solitude.
As Sunday evening approached, the time for Jeongin to return to his dorm drew near. The car ride was quiet, with the radio providing the only sound in the background. He was worried but wanted to give you time to come to terms with your own feelings.
When you arrived at his dormitory, he hesitated before getting out of the car. He squeezed your hand and said, "Noona, remember to—"
You cut him off with a weak smile and understanding eyes, "Yes, I know. I'll come to you if I need anything. You'll always be my favourite boy, Jeongin-ah."
His heart swelled with affection at your words, but a hint of unease remained. The way you said it left him feeling unsettled. You leaned over and pressed a lingering kiss on his cheek, causing his cheeks to flush with warmth. Before he could say anything else, you gestured towards the outside of the car where his roommate was waiting.
"Go on, your friend's waiting," You said softly, your eyes filled with tenderness, "I'll see you next weekend."
He nodded, his emotions swirling within him. He stepped out of the car and closed the door, turning back to look at you once more before heading to meet Felix. The conflicting feelings within him mirrored your own as he left, and he knew that your relationship had reached a pivotal crossroads that neither of you could ignore.
Jeongin couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
Ever since the evening at the cafe with Mingyu, you'd been acting distant and aloof. He'd been eagerly anticipating the next weekend, hoping to see you and spend time together as usual, but his heart sank when he received a text from you telling him not to come over because you had a date. It felt like a punch to the gut, and he couldn't understand what changed.
In the days that followed, your interactions became more strained. You only contacted him when it was necessary, and you'd been spending your free time outside of work on dating apps and meeting new people.
Jeongin couldn't make sense of it.
He thought you shared his feelings, and he'd been more than willing to take that next step. But your behaviour now was pushing him further away, and he couldn't bear the thought of being relegated to the role of a mere brother.
Jeongin has kept his feelings to himself for too long. He was tired of the secrecy, the unspoken words that hung between you. He'd been convinced that you felt the same way, but your recent actions left him bewildered and hurt. He couldn't understand why you were suddenly treating him like a brother when it felt like there was something more between you.
The frustration was building within him, and he couldn't hold back any longer. He needed to confront you and get to the bottom of this, no matter how difficult the conversation might be.
His heart ached with the uncertainty of your feelings, and he had to find out what changed between you. He decided to go to your place, leaving you a text to inform you of his visit. He watched as the message was marked as "delivered" but received no response. The coldness of your silence stung him, but he couldn't abandon his mission.
Arriving at your door, he knocked several times and called out your name, but there was no response from within.
Panic started to bubble up as he called your phone and heard it ringing on the other side of the door. You were undoubtedly inside, so why were you not answering? Fear for your safety began to creep in, and he decided to use the spare key you'd given him to unlock your door and enter.
He cautiously moved through your apartment, searching for any sign of you. When he reached your bedroom, he noticed the door slightly ajar. He called out to you softly but received no response.
Jeongin pushed the door open gently, and relief washed over him when he saw you lying on the bed. But the relief turned to alarm as he got closer and realised that you were drenched in sweat, your face pale, and your body burning with fever.
You were sick.
Frowning with concern, he touched his hand to your forehead, wincing at the intense heat radiating from your skin.
Worry was etched across his face as he whispered, "Noona?" He knew he needed to take care of you, and at this moment, any confusion or doubts about your feelings faded into the background. Your well-being was what mattered most to him now.
Jeongin hurriedly grabbed a tub of water and a washcloth, gently wiping the sweat from your face and forehead. The cold water offered some relief from the fever that consumed you. He pulled the duvet up to your chin, ensuring you were snug and comfortable. Your slightly improved condition eased his worries, but his heart still raced with concern.
As he turned to go to the kitchen to prepare a soothing soup for you, your weak voice stopped him in his tracks. You reached out, your hand grasping his arm, trembling. The vulnerability in your voice broke his heart as you whispered, "Don't go, Jeongin-ah... I'm sorry, I know I hurt you..."
Sitting down beside you, he held your hand in his and wiped away a fresh tear that slid down your cheek, "Then why, noona?" Your eyes locked with his, and he saw the anguish in them. You continued, your voice shaky with emotion, "I'm scared..."
His heart constricted with a mix of emotions, understanding your hesitation. He knew exactly what you meant – you were afraid of the new and unfamiliar feelings that developed between you two. Your attempts to push him away and maintain boundaries had been out of fear, but now you realised it had only hurt both of you.
He squeezed your hand gently, a reassuring presence by your side, "Noona," he whispered softly, "You don't have to be scared. We'll figure this out together, step by step. You're not alone in this, and I'm not going anywhere."
You let out a shaky breath, finally allowing your emotions to surface as you nodded. With his support, you began to understand that maybe, just maybe, you didn't have to be afraid of your own heart.
As the evening light casts a warm glow in your room, you lay there, your mind finally free from the tumultuous thoughts that have been plaguing you for weeks. In the quiet space of your bedroom, you let your heart's true feelings wash over you, unencumbered by doubts and worries.
For too long, you've tried to suppress your emotions, viewing Jeongin as nothing more than a brother, even though you knew deep down that your bond was evolving into something different. The time you spent apart from him had been torturous. The realisation hit you like a tidal wave – you were in love with your foster brother.
It was a complex emotion, a mixture of joy and fear, excitement and apprehension. You couldn't believe this was happening, but you couldn't deny it any longer. You knew that you couldn't keep pushing your feelings aside.
Taking a deep breath, you made a decision.
You were going to face your emotions head-on and confront the truth about how you felt. The journey ahead might be difficult and filled with uncertainties, but one thing was certain – you were ready to explore the depths of your heart, and you knew you wouldn't have to do it alone. Jeongin would be there, beside you every step of the way.
After your recovery, your shared understanding of the unspoken feelings that have been growing between you became impossible to ignore. The day has come when you know you need to address the elephant in the room.
Jeongin had taken care of you during your illness, staying by your side and nursing you back to health. His caring actions only made your feelings for him even more evident.
With newfound clarity, you decided that the time had come to talk about your emotions. You stood alone on the balcony, feeling the cool breeze as the city lights twinkled in the distance. You gazed out at the vast cityscape, the view offering a sense of perspective and contemplation.
Jeongin, on the other hand, busied himself in the kitchen, tidying up the dishes. He insisted on taking care of everything after your meal, leaving you free to gather your thoughts. He knew this conversation was important, and he wanted to make everything as comfortable as possible for you.
Unbeknownst to you, he quietly approached.
You turned to him as he gently draped his oversized jacket over your shoulders, his familiar scent enveloping you. A warm, fond smile graced his lips as he broke the silence, "Wouldn't want you to be sick again." He said with a touch of humour in his voice, although his eyes held a deeper understanding.
You both settled into a comfortable silence, leaning against the balcony's railing and allowing the city's sights and sounds to wash over you. It was a peaceful moment, one where the unspoken words were about to find their voice.
After what felt like an eternity of shared silence, you finally found the courage to break the ice, "Jeongin-ah," Your voice trembled slightly, "There's something I need to talk to you about." You turned to look at him, and he met your gaze with a reassuring nod.
He moved closer, his shoulder brushing against yours, "I've been thinking about it too," He admitted, his voice soft but filled with hope, "There's something I want to tell you as well."
Taking a deep breath, you began, "To be honest, I... I didn't plan for any of this. I never thought I'd feel this way," You paused, trying to find the right words, "You've always been my little brother. But lately, something changed, something shifted."
He listened attentively, his expression a mixture of curiosity and anticipation. He was clearly eager to hear what you had to say.
"Maybe it's the way you've grown, how mature you've become," You continued, your voice gaining more confidence, "Instead of me taking care of you, I find myself relying on you, more and more every day."
Your heart was racing as you admitted your feelings, the words you never thought you'd say out loud, "Jeongin, I've been feeling different around you," You confessed, your eyes glistening with emotion, "I don't know when it started, but recently, it's as if our interactions are more than just brother and sister. And when Mingyu told me that I deserved someone who would prioritise my happiness above all else, it was you who came to my mind..."
Now, in a small, vulnerable voice, you finally let it out.
"I think... I think I'm in love with you."
The weight of your feelings hung heavy in the air between you, your heart pounding in your chest as you waited for his response.
Jeongin's smile began to bloom, and you felt his warm hand encase yours. The softness in his eyes mirrored the affectionate grin playing on his lips, and his words tumbled out, as if he'd been holding onto them for far too long.
"You have no idea how many times I've dreamed about hearing you say that," He admitted, his voice gentle and sincere, "I've felt this way for so long, and it's been... difficult, to say the least. Noona, I've loved you from the moment we first met." His thumb caressed the back of your hand as he continued.
You let out a small gasp at that. It was news to you; you had no idea he felt this way for you all along.
"I spent the first year trying to suppress these feelings," He confessed, "I thought I could get over this silly crush by distancing myself from you, but every time I saw you again, it just became impossible. The time I spent apart from you, like my final year in high school when I didn't see you, made me think maybe I could move on from these romantic feelings."
Jeongin's gaze never wavered from yours, "But then, I came to Seoul and saw you again. After a whole year of being apart, I knew it was hopeless. I realised that I'll always be yours, noona."
As his words settled in the air between you, you felt a profound sense of relief and contentment. The unspoken emotions that simmered beneath the surface were finally out in the open. Your connection was no longer confined by the boundaries of a sibling relationship.
The nights turned into days, and the two of you decided to keep your newfound love a secret. It was a shared agreement, a whispered pact, born out of caution and a desire to be sure before revealing your relationship to anyone.
The days that followed were marked by an unspoken understanding that you'd take things slow, allowing your feelings to deepen and grow organically.
You enjoyed every stolen moment together, experiencing the joy of love without the scrutiny of prying eyes. You ventured out on quiet dates, exploring the city together, building new memories while keeping your budding love hidden from your friends and family.
As you navigated this uncharted territory, you both acknowledged that taking the time to nurture your relationship in private was important. It allowed you to be absolutely sure of your feelings for each other and ensured that when the moment came to share your love openly, you'd be standing on a solid foundation.
Your relationship was something you were willing to protect and cherish until the right time came to reveal it to the world. It was a journey you were excited to embark upon together, and you were both determined to savour every moment of this beautiful, hidden love story that was just beginning.
Jeongin sat at the table one weekend, immersed in his assignments, determined to get as much done as possible while you buzzed around, ensuring he had everything he needed to concentrate. Cold water in his favourite glass, a bowl of fresh fruit, and some snacks on a plate were all arranged neatly on the small table next to him.
Every once in a while, you'd glance over to check on him, making sure he was comfortable. He couldn't help but admire your care and attention, which has become such an integral part of your relationship. The sight of you bustling around, making sure he was well taken care of, was heartwarming.
As dinner time approached, you busied yourself in the kitchen, preparing a delicious meal for both of you. The fragrant aroma of your cooking wafted through the air, making Jeongin's mouth water. He bit his lip as he watched you, feeling so lucky to have you in his life.
Finally, dinner was ready, and you both sat down to share a quiet, intimate meal. The conversation flowed naturally, your laughter filling the room as you talked about your day and the little things that's been on your minds.
After dinner, you moved to the living room, where movie night awaited. You settled on the couch next to him, and as the movie began, you leaned into him without hesitation. He wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer, and you nestled comfortably against him. The warmth of his embrace felt like the most natural thing in the world.
Jeongin's heart swelled with contentment, realising that he didn't have to think of ways to keep you close anymore. You were already there, right where you both belonged, in each other's arms, a silent promise of love and companionship that's been growing stronger with each passing day.
As the romantic comedy movie played on the screen, a particularly passionate kissing scene unfolded before your eyes. You were engrossed in the storyline, the characters' connection so palpable that it tugged at your heartstrings.
Beside you, Jeongin has been fighting an internal battle, and the sight of that on-screen kiss has only intensified his yearning. He'd been patient, respecting your boundaries. You'd both held hands and exchanged countless cheek and forehead kisses, but that was it. The thought of sharing a first real kiss with you has crossed his mind many times, but he never wanted to rush it.
But this moment, with the movie's romantic ambience and your hearts aligned, felt different.
His heart raced as he shifted slightly closer to you. His hand, previously resting on your shoulder, inched toward your cheek, his fingers softly grazing your skin. He swallowed hard, the warmth of your proximity igniting an intense longing.
With a tender smile, he tilted your chin upward, his eyes searching yours for reassurance. Your breath caught in your throat as your faces drew nearer. You met his gaze with wide eyes, your heart pounding with anticipation.
His warm breath ghosted over your lips as he whispered, "Do you trust me, noona?" Your nod was all the confirmation he needed, and the radiant, almost boyish smile that lit up his face was nothing short of breathtaking.
Finally, the distance between you vanished.
Jeongin leaned in and gently pressed his lips to yours for the first time. His heart soared in his chest when he felt you kiss him back; your lips were even softer than he imagined. He still found it hard to believe that he was actually kissing you; his dreams were finally coming true, one by one.
As the kiss deepened, your worries and doubts melted away, leaving only the warmth of your love for each other. It was a sweet and heartfelt exchange, a testament to the trust and affection you've nurtured throughout your journey together.
After that first kiss, Jeongin decided that kissing you was his new favourite thing to do. But as much as he loved your kisses, he never failed to seek your consent before pressing his lips against yours. At first, you admired his respect for you and found it adorable whenever he felt the need to ask before kissing you.
But over time, there were moments when you wished he'd act on his own impulses, and let spontaneity guide your affection.
And today was one of those days.
You'd been playfully dancing around the living room, lost in laughter and movement until a slow song came on. As the music swelled, Jeongin gently pulled you close, his eyes locked onto yours. He leaned in, but before your lips could meet, he paused and asked, "Can I kiss you, noona?"
You chuckled, cupping his face in your hands, "Yang Jeongin," You whispered, your breath mingling with his, "You don't ever have to ask me again. Just kiss me."
His heart somersaulted at your words, and his hesitation melted away. At that moment, he leaned in without any more questions, capturing your lips in a sweet and passionate kiss. The music continued to play, but you had both entered your own world, a world where you didn't need words to express the depth of your love for each other.
He pulled away slowly to catch his breath, the lingering warmth of your kiss still hung in the air, and your eyes remained closed as you revelled in the delightful sensation.
When your eyes fluttered open, you found Jeongin staring down at you with a loving gaze, his fingers tenderly brushing a strand of hair from your face. You couldn't help pouting at him, curiosity dancing in your eyes, "Are you sure you've never dated around before?" You playfully inquired, unable to contain your amazement.
His eyes widened at your question, and he quickly shook his head, responding with fervour, "I swear, noona, you're the only one I've ever loved. You're my first girlfriend, my first kiss, and—"
Before he could finish his sentence, you interrupted with a light laugh, "Oh no, you silly boy! I meant that you're just so good at kissing, it baffles me that this is your first time."
His cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, and he hid his face in your neck for a moment, embarrassment creeping in. As he pulled away slightly, he managed to mumble, "Wait, am I better than Mingyu?"
You blinked, not quite expecting this question, but after a moment's contemplation, you nodded slowly, "Yeah, you are."
He immediately broke into a triumphant grin, thrilled at the idea that he was a better kisser than your ex, "Yes! Take that, Kim Mingyu!" He exclaimed, playfully taunting the ghost of your past relationship.
You scoffed, rolling your eyes with a chuckle, "Alright, alright. That's enough."
But Jeongin had mischief in his eyes, "No, it's not enough." He leaned in, capturing your lips again with newfound boldness, clearly intending to prove his point once more.
Many months have passed, and your relationship with Jeongin has evolved and become quite stable. You both decided to take things slow, enjoying your time together and strengthening your bond, all the while keeping it a secret from everyone.
But now, things were changing.
Jeongin was ready to open up to someone he trusted, and he believed it was time to let his roommate in on the truth. Felix had been a little suspicious for a while, especially after witnessing a near-kiss between the two of you when you dropped Jeongin off one day.
He took a deep breath and finally admitted, "Felix, you know that time you saw us nearly kissing... Well, we're actually together."
Felix's eyes widened with surprise, and he shot up from his bed, grinning from ear to ear, "I knew it!" He exclaimed, thrilled to have guessed right all along, "Man, I've had my suspicions for ages! Congrats, buddy! I'm here to support you every step of the way."
Jeongin couldn't help smiling, thankful for having a friend like Felix who would stand by his side.
Later on, you both discussed breaking the news to your friends, Chan and Minho. It was a decision that weighed on your minds for a while, and you felt that it was time to share your secret with your closest friends. The idea of keeping this from them had begun to feel more like a burden than a protective secret.
One weekend, the two came over for your usual catch-up session. They noticed that you and Jeongin seemed even closer and more affectionate than before, exchanging quiet jokes and smiles, leaning in to whisper to each other, and laughing about private little things.
Finally, unable to contain his curiosity any longer, Minho, with his arms crossed, demanded, "Alright, I know we're idiots, but even we can tell there's something different about you two. Tell us now, what is it?"
You exchanged a knowing look with Jeongin, and after a brief pause, you decided it was time to share your secret. Your voice trembled slightly as you began, "Well, there's something we've been keeping from you guys. Jeongin and I... we're dating."
There was a moment of shocked silence as the two processed this revelation, their eyes widening in surprise. Finally, Chan broke into a wide grin, "No way! You're together? That's amazing!"
Minho, after recovering from the initial shock, couldn't help laughing, "Honestly, it makes sense. You two have always been so close. It's about time you figured it out."
Seeing your friends' positive reactions brought tears to your eyes, but they were tears of relief and gratitude. You were deeply moved by their understanding and acceptance of your relationship with Jeongin. When Chan noticed your tears, he immediately expressed concern, "What is it? Did we say something wrong again?"
You shook your head, your voice filled with emotion, "No, it's just... I didn't think you'd both accept it just like that... Jeongin and I, we've been so worried about what other people would think."
Minho shook his head with a reassuring smile, "Look, I know it might seem wrong without proper context. But you two aren't biologically related, and Jeongin joined your family relatively late. It's not like you grew up together as siblings and then fell in love. There's technically nothing wrong with this. You have our full support."
The weight on your shoulders felt even lighter as your friends' understanding and approval washed away your concerns. It was comforting to know that your closest friends saw your relationship for what it was, a deep and loving connection that had grown naturally between two people who cared about each other deeply.
The tears in your eyes transformed from those of worry to those of happiness, and you gave a sincere smile of gratitude to Chan and Minho for being there for you.
As Jeongin's semester break approached and the return home to visit your parents became imminent, you found yourselves lying in bed beside each other one night. Your head was resting on his chest while he drew comforting circles on your back. In the midst of the quiet moment, you gathered the courage to voice your thoughts.
"Innie... we've been together for a while now, and our friends in the city all know about us. Should we..." You looked up at him, seeking his thoughts, "Should we tell mum and dad?"
He leaned down to press a reassuring kiss onto your lips before responding, "They'll have to find out sooner or later. We might as well get it over with once and for all. If our friends are so accepting, maybe our parents will be too..."
You smiled at his supportive response and nodded, "Let's hope so."
He closed his eyes, pulling you even closer, and you both tried to fall asleep that night with your minds wandering to how your parents would react to the news of your relationship.
It was a mix of excitement and nervousness, but you knew that whatever happened, you had each other to lean on.
As you both packed up for the trip back home after informing your parents of your return, there was a noticeable tension in the air. You carefully loaded your car's trunk with your belongings while Jeongin watched closely, his perceptive eyes not failing to catch the slight trembling of your hands.
Before you could make your way to the driver's seat, he reached out, taking hold of your hand and gently pulling you closer to him. He circled his arms around your waist, concern in his eyes as he asked, "Hey, what is it?"
You swallowed hard, "I'm just nervous, Innie. What we're about to tell them might change things forever. I'm scared."
He pressed your head onto his shoulder, holding you close as he placed a gentle kiss on your head, "I'm scared too," He admitted, "But whatever happens, we're in this together, right?"
You nodded against him, feeling the reassuring warmth of his embrace, "Right."
With a determined resolve, he squeezed you gently, "Then let's do this."
You took a deep breath, wiped away the threatening tears, and got into your car. As you started the engine and began your journey back home, you felt a mix of fear and hope.
Upon your arrival at your parents' home, you and Jeongin went to hug them. They expressed how proud they were of both of you for doing so well taking care of each other in the city. A slight falter in your smile betrayed the internal turmoil you were feeling. Would they still be proud once they found out the truth about your relationship?
Jeongin looked over at you and gave you an assuring nod. He understood your apprehension but was there to support you. For now, you followed your parents into your childhood home, deciding to wait for the right moment to break the news.
In the meantime, you caught up with your parents, sharing the latest updates and stories from your lives in the city.
The evening passed pleasantly as you all settled back into your family routine, but in the back of your mind, the knowledge that you needed to reveal the truth was a constant presence. You were both determined to face whatever would come next, knowing that honesty was the only way forward.
As you all settled down at the dining table, dishes filled with your and Jeongin's favourite food in front of you, the atmosphere was warm and comforting. Laughter filled the air as you enjoyed the meal.
Then, out of the blue, your mother turned to you and asked, "Honey, tell us about your love life. Have you met any nice guys or do you already have a boyfriend without us knowing, hm?"
The question hung in the air, and you stilled, your hand reaching for a dish in front of you halted mid-air. You threw a sidelong glance at Jeongin, who met your gaze with a nod, silently encouraging you to seize this moment.
You knew it was time to reveal the truth.
Setting down your utensils, you cleared your throat, "Mum, dad, there's something that we have to tell you both."
The cheerful atmosphere shifted, and your parents set down their utensils, their expressions curious. Your father asked, "What is it, honey?"
Your voice shook slightly as you began, "I do have a boyfriend," Your parents' faces lit up with excitement, and your mother asked, "Oh, that's great! What does he do?"
You held up a hand to pause their assumptions, "Wait, I'm not finished, mum. You... you both know this person incredibly well," They paused, clearly puzzled. Your father guessed, "You're not dating Chan or Minho, are you?"
Shaking your head, you lifted your hand, placing it over Jeongin's on the table, "He's right here, next to me."
Your parents froze, their eyes widening as they tried to process your words. They watched as Jeongin laced your fingers together before adding, "It's me... we're together."
The room fell into silence as your parents absorbed the revelation, their expressions shifting through a range of emotions.
You jumped in your seat when your father slammed his hand on the table, his voice filled with anger and disbelief, "What is this atrocity?! You're siblings, for god's sake!" Tears welled up in your eyes as his outburst shattered the room's silence.
Jeongin nervously gulped, "But dad... Noona and I, we really love each other. We hoped you could accept our relationship."
Your father stared at Jeongin with an incredulous look, "Are you out of your goddamned mind? She's your sister!"
Feeling a mixture of anger and sorrow, you couldn't stay silent. You stood up from your seat and implored, "Stop, dad! Don't yell at him; he didn't do anything wrong."
Your father, however, seemed beyond reasoning. He rose from his seat, his tone unyielding, "I don't care. You two better stop this madness, you hear me?" With those words, he stormed out of the dining hall and into his room, forcefully slamming the door shut.
Feeling overwhelmed and heartbroken, you collapsed back into your seat, overcome with emotion. Jeongin immediately gathered you in his arms, planting a comforting kiss on your head.
Amidst the turmoil, your mother finally spoke, her voice wavering, "Tell me, do you two truly love each other?" You both nodded, and Jeongin answered her, "I know this might be a lot to take in, but we wanted to be honest with you. Our relationship developed over time, and we've been together for a while now."
Your mother nodded slowly, taking a deep breath before responding, "It's alright, you have my support," Her words brought you both a sense of relief, and you looked at her, surprised, "Really?"
She smiled, her eyes filled with warmth and understanding, "Yes, honey. You're both my children, and I love you no matter what. I want to see you both happy. Besides, it's not like you're actually siblings. Your father... he just needs a little time to sort out his thoughts; he'll come around, I promise."
You breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that at least your mother understood and supported your relationship. While your father's reaction was hurtful, you hoped that, in time, he would come to accept the love between you and Jeongin.
The next two weeks at home were emotionally challenging as your father continued to give you both the cold shoulder.
Despite the fact that Jeongin wasn't even his biological son, your father's refusal to accept your relationship felt like a heavy weight on your shoulders. Every time he turned away from you or acted as if you were invisible, it hurt you deeply.
One day, after he walked past you and ignored your presence, you couldn't hold back your frustration any longer.
"Are you really going to behave like this forever, dad?" You asked, your voice laced with disappointment. He stopped for a moment, seemingly contemplating your words, before continuing to walk away from you.
Sighing heavily, you returned to your old room.
Lying on your bed, you cried silently into your pillow. The rejection and disapproval from your father felt unbearable. Eventually, you heard footsteps entering your room, and you felt a dip in your bed. A familiar hand landed on your trembling shoulder.
You turned to see Jeongin, and you didn't waste another second. You melted into his warm embrace, crying into his neck as he held you close. His presence was your anchor in the storm of your father's disapproval, and he whispered soothing words into your ear, promising that things would get better with time.
He couldn't bear to see you so upset and decided he needed to confront your father. After you've cried yourself to sleep in his arms, he gently laid you down and tucked you in.
Determined, he went in search of your father.
Jeongin found him sitting alone on the front porch, contemplating the turmoil within his own heart. With a deep breath, he sat down beside the man who had raised him as his own son.
"Hey, dad," Jeongin began, his voice steady but filled with determination.
Your father grunted, refusing to meet his gaze, "If you're not here to tell me you've come to your senses and realise what you're doing with your sister is wrong, then don't bother starting."
Jeongin sighed but decided to go on.
"I understand that this situation is difficult for you, and I appreciate everything you've done for me all these years. I came here to talk, not to argue. I know that we aren't blood-related, but we've lived under the same roof for years. You're the closest thing to a father I've ever had, and I love you as if you were my real dad."
He continued, "Noona and I didn't plan for this to happen. Our feelings developed naturally over time. We've tried to be respectful and considerate of your feelings and our family's reputation. But we can't change the way we feel."
Jeongin's eyes softened as he concluded, "We just want your understanding and acceptance. Noona and I are in love, and we don't want to hide our relationship from our family. I hope that, in time, you can find it in your heart to support us and be happy for our happiness."
As your trip home came to an end and you prepared to return to Seoul, you and Jeongin loaded your car trunk with your belongings. Your mother stood alone, getting ready to bid you both goodbye. Your heart ached at your father's absence, but you knew it was a step-by-step process.
You hugged your mother, tears glistening in your eyes. Just as you were about to enter your car, your father's voice rang out, "Wait up!" You turned and chuckled tearfully when you saw him approaching with a container full of kimchi that you'd watched him prepare just the day before.
He held it out to you, and Jeongin helped you take it, "Thanks, dad." You said, touched by the gesture.
Your father scratched the back of his neck sheepishly before he finally smiled, "Promise me you'll continue to take good care of each other, alright? And... I wish you both happiness."
Your eyes widened, and Jeongin smiled knowingly, "Does this mean you... you accept us, dad?"
He nodded, his smile growing, "I might have overreacted a little... but deep down, I know neither of you are doing anything wrong. It was just too sudden, and I needed some time to digest it."
You nodded, smiling through your tears, "Thank you, dad. It means the world to us." You hugged him tightly, relieved that the toughest hurdle was over.
You could both finally be together openly now.
With a warm farewell from your parents and the promise to visit again soon, you and Jeongin drove back to the city, hand in hand.
As you both settled back into your apartment that night, you couldn't stop smiling. All the most important people in your life had accepted your and Jeongin's relationship, and there was no more reason to keep it a secret.
But there was one thing you couldn't figure out: why did your father change his mind so abruptly? Did something happen?
Jeongin found you deep in thought as you brushed your teeth and crept up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist, "What's on your mind, beautiful?" He asked, his voice warm and comforting.
You blushed and quickly rinsed your mouth before turning around to face him, "I was just wondering what made dad change his mind so suddenly..."
He grinned knowingly, his eyes sparkling with mischief, "I may or may not have said something to him."
You softened, realising that Jeongin had played a part in bridging the gap with your father, "Of course, it's you... seems like I have to rely on you for everything now."
He nodded, a hint of playfulness in his eyes, "Guess you do." Then, he caught your lips in a loving kiss. Seeing you happy was enough for him, and he was determined to support you through all the challenges and joys life had in store for both of you.
A few years have passed since the night you finally revealed your relationship to your parents and the world.
You and Jeongin have been living your lives openly and happily as a couple, surrounded by the love and support of your friends and family. By now, everyone who mattered in your life was aware of your relationship, and they celebrated your happiness alongside you.
One day, you both decided to spend a leisurely afternoon shopping at the local mall. As you walked hand in hand through the bustling shopping centre, a familiar face caught your attention. It was Mingyu, your ex. He seemed surprised and intrigued as he watched you and Jeongin together.
His suspicions were soon confirmed as he observed Jeongin leaning down to press a kiss on your lips. He chuckled to himself before making his way over to the two of you, a friendly smile on his face.
"Hey there." He greeted you warmly. This time, there was no tension or unease in the air.
You beamed, not at all hesitant as you introduced the love of your life to your ex-boyfriend, "Mingyu, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Jeongin."
As the three of you chatted and shared stories of the past and present, Mingyu noticed the way Jeongin looked at you. The love and affection in his eyes were undeniable, and Mingyu realised that you've found someone who truly cherished you. At that moment, he felt genuinely happy for both of you, knowing that if Jeongin was the one who made you happy, that was all that mattered.
Weeks later when Jeongin's graduation day arrived, you were bursting with pride and excitement. Together with your parents, you cheered loudly for him as he walked across the stage to receive his degree. It was a moment of immense joy and accomplishment, and you couldn't have been happier for him.
After the ceremony, as the four of you stood together, Felix helped capture the joyous moment in family photos.
Your heart swelled with happiness as you looked at the man you loved, knowing that you've come so far together. What once felt like an impossible dream was now a beautiful reality. Jeongin, too, felt the weight of the moment, still somewhat surprised by the fact that you were finally his. It was a dream he has long harboured, and now it was his reality.
You both exchanged a knowing glance, understanding that this love you shared was your endgame. It was always meant to be, from the beginning until the end, and that's all that truly mattered.
Not long after, as Jeongin prepared for his first day at his new job, you helped him tidy up his work attire with a smile. He was about to start working at a kindergarten for refugee children near your office, and you were both thrilled that you'd be able to travel to work and back home together daily.
"Alright, now you're all set." You said as you straightened his collar and gave him a proud smile.
He beamed back at you, feeling grateful for your support, "Thanks, noona. Love you."
You leaned up to kiss him gently, "Love you too, Innie. I'll see you after work."
Watching him walk into the building with excitement, you drove away to your own workplace, feeling content and blessed. Life was going great, and you couldn't have been happier with how things have turned out.
The day went by rather slowly as you wondered how your boyfriend was liking his new job, feeling incredibly proud of him. Guilt washed over you when you realised you'd spent most of your day thinking about him more than getting any actual work done. Even after years of being together, he still had the ability to make you feel like a teenager in love at times.
You jumped in joy when the clock finally struck 6pm, signalling the end of the work day.
When you went to pick him up from work, it seemed he wasn't done just yet. So, you decided to park your car and take a look around the area. That's when one of Jeongin's colleagues, Jisung, quickly smacked him on the arm to get his attention, gesturing toward you.
"Dude, is that your ride home?" Jisung asked, curiously.
Jeongin nodded quickly, realising you've arrived. Jisung boldly stated, "Yo, dude, your sister's hot."
Before he could respond or clarify your relationship, his colleague was bounding towards you, sweeping a hand over his hair in an attempt to look cool, "Excuse me, noona. Do you have a boyfriend?"
Your eyes widened in surprise at the unexpected question, "Umm, hi," You greeted him, "Well, yes, I do have a boyfriend," Jisung sighed dramatically, pouting, "Of course, you do! You're so pretty; your boyfriend is one lucky guy."
Jeongin came up behind Jisung, clearing his throat, "I sure am," Jisung rolled his eyes, thinking he misunderstood, "Not you, doofus. Her boyfriend."
You stifled a laugh as you watched the exchange. Jeongin stared at his colleague, unamused, "I am her boyfriend, you idiot," Jisung blinked rapidly as he tried to wrap his head around the fact that he'd just attempted to hit on his new colleague's girlfriend, "Oh shit, dude, I'm sorry—"
Jeongin shook his head, trying to hide a smile, "It's fine. You're not the first one. Bye, Jisung. I'll see you tomorrow."
You waved at Jisung, and both of you chuckled as you walked away, Jeongin's arm wrapped protectively around your waist to mark his territory. He sulked slightly as he muttered, "You're too pretty, noona. Guys are always hitting on you."
You laughed, "Is that my fault?"
He scratched his chin thoughtfully, "I guess not."
You softened, cupping his jaw to make him look at you, "What does it matter, Yang Jeongin? In the end, I'm yours."
His smile returned, "That's right, you're all mine."

This is my failed attempt at staying loyal to Minho, all thanks to Jeongin's disrespectful ass for wrecking me lately, goddamnit.
No regrets though lmfao, this is probably one of my personal favourites. It's my first time writing for SKZ, and I didn't think it'd be for baby bread, but here we are.
Anyway, hope y'all enjoyed! As always, I love reading all your thoughts, reviews, and feedback, so feel free to leave as many replies as you want! Thank you, my lovelies! <3

There was a black cat sitting in front of Jeongin, and he shouldn’t have followed it… But in his defense, it literally won’t stop meowing.
He’d just been on his way home from his part-time job, his bag bouncing with each slow step he took as he dragged the trip out. He needed to do laundry when he went back to the sharehouse, and then he had to study, work on a paper due by the end of the week… Ultimately, he’d probably be up later than usual, and he was only prolonging it by taking more time. Work was tiring, too: he’d been saddled with some unsavory customers and tried to handle the situation as best as he could. But even Jeongin had limits.
Following a random black cat that was yelling at him wasn’t one of them, though. He could hear Minho’s voice in the back of his mind: what if it had kittens somewhere? Stray cats only acted out like this if something was truly wrong, right? The cat kept running ahead, stopping long enough to turn back and fuss at him, ensuring he was following.
Sure enough, something was wrong, because he found you, crumpled up on the ground. The cat returned to you, immediately nuzzling its head against you. Jeongin rushed over, falling to his knees beside you as he began to check you over. You were bleeding from your side, and Jeongin gasped.
“Don’t—Don’t worry,” he said, hands shaking as he went for his phone. “I can call for help—”
Yet your hand shot out, grabbing his wrist, “No!” Your voice was stained, yet your eyes met Jeongin’s and he felt a newfound tension wash over him. “No, I… Call someone else.”
Before he could question who, you started reciting a number. Halfway through, he started to recognize the numbers, and by the time you finished…
He stared at you, brows furrowed. “... You know Minho?”
You furrowed your brows. “You’re…?” Then a pause as realization hit you. “Fuck.”
The moment you let go of his wrist, he went to call Minho. At first, he’d been confused, yet when Jeongin started to describe you (due to lacking a name), he heard frustration in his voice. He asked (or, well, demanded would be a better word) where he was, and told him to stay there and keep an eye on you. All too quickly, Minho had run up, pushing Jeongin back as he made his way to you.
“How do you know them?” Minho said, a hand resting on Jeongin’s chest. “You should have left them here.”
“Piss off,” you grunted from the ground.
“I mean it!” He said, “You should have sent your familiar to someone else,” he turned to you, already kneeling down to roll you onto your back. “Stop going after those things and let the council take care of it.”
… Council? Jeongin watched as Minho, despite his hardened gaze, gently pulled your shirt back. It was true that you were bleeding from your side, but something seemed… off about it. The oozing black liquid that ran alongside your blood made his stomach churn, yet he couldn’t pull his eyes away. It was like he needed to say there and see this, despite the fact Minho kept yelling over his shoulder for Jeongin to leave.
“And I told you that those fuckers can barely take care of themselves,” your eyes screwed shut as Minho pressed his palms down on your wound.
“Stop being so dramatic,” Minho clicked his tongue. “You’re not dying… unfortunately.”
Without missing a beat, you flipped him off. Oh. You knew Minho, then: there didn’t seem to be venom in any of these actions, except whatever disdain you held for this “council” the two of you mentioned. Minho pushed down harder, ignoring the way you grunted in pain again, yet this time Jeongin could see a light protruding from underneath his palms.
His voice came out barely above a whisper, “... Hyung?”
Jeongin felt something rub against his legs, and he looked down to see your cat there. With a slow blink, he resumed rubbing against Jeongin’s legs, as though to calm him. Then he looked ahead again at the way you’d reached up, a hand curling hard around Minho’s bicep. Slowly, the wound had begun to close itself up, pushing something out as it did so. When Minho brought his hands away, he was clutching something black and sharp within them, palms still wet with your blood and whatever else had been oozing out of you.
“You should have called me,” Minho said, looking at this broken piece of something. “I told you. Jeongin isn’t like us.”
Jeongin just stood there, staring for a moment longer. He felt a paw press against his leg. “Like you…?”
Minho shut his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. “You don’t need to worry about it—”
“I was right, though.” You had begun to push yourself up, slowly standing back to your full height. You stumbled, hands latching onto Minho to brace yourself. “He could be.”
“He won’t,” Minho pushed you away, letting you brace yourself on the nearby fence instead. “He doesn’t need to be involved.” And for the first time, Jeongin could see a thread of resentment when Minho looked at you. “Not if you’re involved.”
“Minho—”
“I mean it,” he said. “People like us live dangerously. Jeongin is normal.”
“He is not normal,” you argued back. “I told you the last time I was at the sharehouse—He could be powerful if you’d just teach him to tap into that ability.”
Jeongin looked between the two of you, stepping forward. “Hyung, what are they talking about?”
“Nothing,” Minho said, voice cold. With one arm, he brought Jeongin behind him, shielding him from your vision. “Don’t say anything else.”
Yet Jeongin was an adult. He pushed his way past Minho. “What do you mean?” He could feel Minho’s fingers curl around his wrist, yet he tugged himself free with ease. Regardless of what Minho wanted for him… He couldn’t not know now. “You’ve been to the sharehouse?”
Your gaze met Minho’s for a moment, and he could see you commit to what you’d said thus far, nodding. “I told Minho you have potential. I can feel it. But you’d have to be trained, and Minho refuses to do it.”
“Because he’s too young,” Minho said. “He’s a student. I don’t want to find him like I find you—”
“Would you teach me, then?” Jeongin’s eyes bore into your own. “Do… I get one of those, too?” He pointed at your cat, who you kneeled down to scoop into your arms.
“You wouldn’t get something just like Crow, but most witches get familiars. Some of us even get multiple,” you huffed, staring down Minho again with a pout.
“It’s not my fault they chose me.”
You rolled your eyes, turning back to Jeongin. “So you want to learn?”
With a final nod, Jeongin decided to seal his fate. “Teach me.”
