I’m not gonna reblog the ask post myself so I will just share anyway: my first sims game was I think it was called sims social, on Facebook in like 2011, but it’s gba bustin’ out that I really look back on fondly! I’ve played sims 4 too, but theres so much stuff part of it now even since 2018 I’d get lost. I liked listening to James Turner narrating his build videos more than I had actual fun playing it I think. I find it’s the sort of game you need an entire week clear to do nothing else in to really get into it!

i used to watch james turner alllll the time!! haven't in a couple years, because i got caught up in lil simsie's videos and found them a nice length. also watched kelsey impicciche when she was doing the 100 baby challenge with buzzfeed, the most recent simmers i watch on occasion are caryn and connie – mainly because they remind me sooo much of the twins from unsellable houses on hgtv lol

🍮 Favorite thing to do in the sims? (Could literally be anything!) building! i love, love, love, love building! i rarely play the game at this point lol i just spend so much time building. since finishing my desk, i hope to bring up and extra monitor we have and use playstation with it so i can comfortably use a mouse and keyboard. that way i can use all the packs i have vs mainly basegame (computer sims).

🌸 What's your earliest memory of playing the sims? + 🍇 What was your first sims game? i'm lumping these two together because like i said, i'm still fairly new to the game, have only been playing for five years now. but my first sims game is the sims 4, also my only.

earliest memory was when i first got it christmas 2018, i had no clue how anything worked and my house that i built was... awful. to say the least. my brother refers to it as "the prison house" because i didn't know how to even change the walls from drywall and floor from concrete lmao

#i've played the apps (freeplay and mobile) but barely count those as games because they are just. meh imo #but they are apps so it's expected. #seems like i remember a friend of mine talking about either 4 when it came out or maybe 3 right before 4 was released idk #i do know she played it a bit and mentioned a few times. so at least four years before i started playing. #but yeah i spend most of my time in build mode. i either open it and am sucked in for hours or spend 10 minutes trying to build #and nothing comes out right so close the game for a month or so. outside of stray and rocket league it's the only game i have. #it's definitely the only game i play on a regular basis. again all because of build mode and the creative outlet it is #anyways. thank you for the ask!! #ask #ask game #herbcitty #the sims
