#i'm glad i decided to watch the mvs again today

in through the looking glass alice navigates across a chess board, the chess board in through the looking glass is red and white but throughout the mujina carnival videos it's red and black. at one point she comes across the red king who is sleeping, as she tries to wake him, tweedledum and tweedledee tell her that she is just a figment of the red king's imagination and when he wakes up she will cease to exist. as she wakes up at the end of the story she wonders if this too, is still red king's dream.

the lyrics of futatsu no tsuki ~deep into the forest~ are filled with motifs inspired by through the looking glass as well like the lit candle that's symbolizing the king dreaming, only extinguishing when he wakes.

the future being seen through the falling leaves is in part inspired by the white queen's ability to see the future, within the song it's referring to various shots that flash red with blue silhouettes that represent what aspects of self dissipate within the forest that feature falling leaves.

at one point in through the looking glass alice gets lost in the forest, and forgets everything including her own name. she encounters a fawn there, and they help each other through the forest, until they recover their memories upon leaving and the fawn remembers they are a fawn and fawns are scared of humans. the forest is called the "forest of things with no name"; the forest has a name but the people lost within it, don't.

going deeper into the forest for alice and the fawn leads them to the exit where they recover their memories and previous selves including societal roles. any companionship they build up within the forest crumbles when faced with reality.

within the song going deeper into the forest continues to cause aspects of your previous self to crumble, as you are continually opened up and destroyed, allowing you to truly feel.

this isn't the full meaning of the song or mv just a couple things i noticed about how it connects to this book.

Tbh, i forgot to inform you that it was not only that you convinced to to finally listen to bts, but to kpop in general. I had some weird dislike for bts because of the 'boy with luv' ( was salty they didn't give halsey more lines) and was afraid of k stans in general. I don't personally love their newer releases, but wings is *chef's kiss* and also all of their cyphers are amazing.

i've committed a kpop sin. i've listened to quite a bit of cix, all of their discog at least once and have a bunch of their songs on my playlists, love jungle for example, but i've never watched any of their mvs?! how foolish of me! jungle mv was amazing. also i'm too uneducated to understand it fully i'm sure. burn it was too short. even the full drama version. i wanted more of it. both of them went straight to my fave mvs playlist no doubt about it.

yeah paranoia is really cool! i like side effects too but i think it's mostly bc it's one of my fave skz tracks and also that one scene with hyunjin and seungmin in it which i love for some reason, it just hits all the right corners in my brain, i'm weird, i fixate on the littlest things. power and awkward silence are soo fun thanks for inspiring me to watch them again. the real was a really fun mv from the ones that were new to me. had to add that to my playlist too.

hi!! i hope i'm not bothering you, but i really want to stan bts and i have no idea where to start! i've always liked their music, so i decided it was time to stan them lol. i know their names, but can't put those names to all of their faces yet! would you mind telling me how you learned their personalities and things? sorry for bothering you, again! ❤️

OMG I AM SO SORRY FOR REPLYING TO YOU SO LATE!! I’ve been on my side blogs activity and just now went back to taieds 💕

But omg, you are no bother. Im glad you want to join Army and stan BTS :D so Ill try and help you the best way that I can 😊

First, I was exactly how you were when I first started to stan BTS - not only that, BTS was the first kpop group I got into, so I had NO IDEA who was who and what was what lol

To answer your question, what I personally did was go on google and typed in “ BTS members names ” or which ever **RECENT** mv they did I would look up “ BTS not today members ”

~ this usually helped of what they currently looked like and would help me identify who was who when I would look up recent pics of BTS

Another form, to getting to know their personalities and putting their names to their faces was looking at their **dance practices**. THIS HELPED ME SOOO MUCH ~ because when I would watch their dance practices I would “try” to find me bias and when I couldn’t… I would go down to the **comment section** and some nice Armys would help identify who was who by time within the dance practice. Once I would find my bias, this helped with what kind of style my bias wears and how cute BTS are lol

hm, what else helped me was their time on “ After School Club ” or “ ASC ” ~ all their episodes with BTS should be on YouTube. just type in “ BTS on ASC ” ~ some episodes go back to their debut and their latest time on ASC.

I feel like this will help you the most because each episode is about 50 minutes and you will get to know EACH MEMBER better along with their names because all members really show their personality in the show and GIVE THEIR POSITION IN THE GROUP ~

if you dont know what After School Club is or ASC , it’s basically a live stream interview talking about their latest album at the time and the host plays some games with them along with BTS answering some fan questions 💕 and the best part is….its ALL IN ENGLISH!!! Yes everything is in English, this show is held in korea but their hosts all talk English and Korean, so whenever BTS talk in Korean there is a English translation at the bottom of the video OR one of the hosts translate for us (: NOTE: however, BTS haven’t been on ASC since December 2015 but this will definitely help you know how EACH member acts. Plus, how they are on the show is the same way how they are now lmao believe it or not 😇

LASTLY, just watch as many BTS videos as you can (preferably old ones) or recent live performances :) and you will know BTS in no time!! 😊😊
