That’s where she was, in fact; with two of her friends in Mr D’s office, except without Mr D and a surplus of Will Solace and Nico di Angelo. 

“Yeah, Neeks, what’s wrong?” She asks absentmindedly, playing with her hair. “Why’d you drag Will into this?” 

Nico stares at the floor, not looking at Percy. Instead, Will fills the silence. “Percy, remember when you told me that you felt like parts of your memory was missing? I have a question.” She nods, and he continues, “does it still feel like that?” 

When he mentioned it, it did. Percy felt that familiar tug on her stomach. 

It all began when she drank the blood from Phineus. Percy’s memory slowly started to come back to her; bit by bit, she felt her story reborn. But something was always off. Percy tried to think it through, but if she put too much effort in, her brain started to hurt and her limbs felt weak. When she curled up with Anthonius, something felt wrong—even though she only curled up with him and her mom before. No one else. So why did it feel wrong, bad?

There is no tension, no discomfort, but still he feels as if he should say something - feels as if he should pull his fearless leader and other half from whatever traps lie inside his head.

“What’s that game you always liked to play say?” Brow twitches as he tries for seriousness, head shifting until it lays on the younger man’s shoulder. “In war, victory. In peace .. vigilance?” Another laugh passes through lips as he tries to recall more of it, memories fleeting. He hadn’t paid much attention before, but now, now he wishes he had. “We’ll get to that, you know. The vigilance thing.
