if crisis core remake comes out before the other two parts of the ffvii remake, doesn't that spoil for new players all of cloud's backstory?

#i mean the very existence of zack this early in the main game does that a little also #but it could be like a spicy mystery to unravel over time #idk i haven't actually played crisis core just the main game #so i don't really know what is and isn't apparent in it #but like the reveal in the original game was soooooo good #i'd hate for new players to be deprived of all that #and we also don't know how different the remake is going to get now that the whispers are dead #as a zack lover who never got to play crisis core #im very excited for the remake! #just yea a little bummed if it makes the story beats weirder for new players #final fantasy vii

not to hate on how HG has done (most of) their alters, but do you prefer alters over the normal limited characters? we've only got 2 normal limited aside from the nian siblings afterall.

though I guess if we count originium dust it became 6 characters in total.

also for mostima alter, would you rather hg make her wield her blunderbuss again or do you think they'll go the nearlter route?

To be perfectly honest, i'd rather Alters didn't exist at all and we got them for free with a form-switching mechanic like with Guard Amiya,.

But also if we HAVE to have Limited characters, I'd rather they be Alters of characters we already have and who aren't limited rather than locking out entirely new characters from the player base who will have to wait for a rerun if they don't roll them. I think one of Arknights' most appealing features is that very few characters are limited, and combined with the generous rolling rate, if you miss someone you can always roll them later. I think making entirely new characters limited and thus depriving some of their fans the ability to get them anytime gets in the way of that.

I find W and Rosmontis being limited especially unfortunate since they're involved with the main plot, with W specifically being a major force behind the scenes.

I'm willing to overlook Team Rainbow though, as they are borrowed IP from Ubisoft and HG can't really keep them permanently. That's why I liked that they put a guarantee on them (Ash guaranteed within 120 rolls, Frost and Blitz guarantee each other) to prevent excessive FOMO rolling. If they lower the sparking guarantee on future limiteds from 300 to 120 like Ash, I would be very happy.

For Mostima Alter, I don't have any specific wishes (apart from her being extremely good), HG is good at surprises so I want to see what they'd make for her.

Just wanted to mention as additional info that i love mindless strolls and walks to nowhere with some great music and idle talks. coffee, rainy nights and staying up late, doing random shit till 3 until i get hungry and eat sumth (it's either instant ramen or i actually make the ramen from scratch at all odd hours) then proceed to doze off on the sofa. knowing that if i dont stop, my back will be shaped like the letter 'c'. just thought i'd share so you had more info C:
