'Lust of lovers in the summer' Story Event~Morinaga Route
Tumblr media
(It's hot again today....)
I walk in the sunshine, wiping the sweat off my face.
But despite the heat, joyful voices could be heard from all over the town.
Merchant 1: "It's almost the summer festival, isn't it? Morinaga-san and his friends are going to do something, aren't they? Have you heard the details?"
Merchant 2: "No, not at all. But it’ll be fun with that man leading the way."
Merchant 3: "Yes. I wonder, what's in store for us?"
(As expected of Morinaga-san..... Everyone is hyped.)
In order to liven up the town of Kamakura, which is suffering from the extreme heat, the samurai of Kamakura decided to hold a summer festival.
Morinaga-san was appointed by Yoritomo-sama to take charge of this.
He is now working with his men in one part of the town to prepare for the festival.
(I can only help by bringing some refreshments, but I hope the festival is a success.)
....................
(Oh, I think this is the workshop.)
It looks like they have just stepped out onto the back of the stage, which is being assembled.
Yoshino: "Um, hello. I've brought you some----"
Tumblr media
Morinaga: "Oh hey, Yoshino. Come here."
(Ha!!!..... Half-naked Morinaga-san!)
His exposed, water-soaked upper body is a sight to behold.
Morinaga: "Oh, sorry about this. I was just taking a dip in the water because I was sweating at work."
Morinaga-san approached me looking like that.
Yoshino: "Erm....where are the others?"
Morinaga: "We decided to take a break a while ago."
Yoshino: "Um, Morinaga-san...if you could...wear your kimono back on...?"
Morinaga: "Why? You have already seen me like this last night. Are still embarrassed? No wait,.....You're embarrassed because you saw me like this last night, isn't it?"
Morinaga-san bent down lightly and looked into my eyes, and my cheeks heated up.
Yoshino: "Nn..Don't tease me....."
Morinaga: "Sorry, I must have hit the nail on the head."
Morinaga-san's smile deepens as I look away, unable to bear my embarrassment.
Morinaga: "You're so cute."
He looked at me with his sweet, lechery eyes and my heart clenched.
(But....I'm at the mercy of Morinaga-san all the time.)
I have only recently fallen in love with him, and I am swept away by the little antics of the more mature Morinaga-san.
Morinaga: "There's nothing wrong in having a shy face, but it's lonely when you look away so much."
Taking both my hands, Morinaga-san let me hook them around his neck, wondering what I was thinking.
(Wh-Whaa...this position?)
Morinaga: "You looked me right in the eye last night, didn't you? It was lovely to see you begging for it, .....but I don't think I'll see it again today."
Yoshino: "Mm...."
A thick-skinned finger flicked my lips, causing a slight sensation of pleasure.
Morinaga-san's face comes to me as if he was enjoying seeing me blushing....
We kissed,....a soft tongue crept through the opening to gently pamper my mouth.
Yoshino: "Hmm....ah..."
Morinaga: "At last a voice that sounds familiar..."
(Mm....I don't know, but it's like he's trying to revive the last night's memories...)
Morinaga-san embraces my waist with his big hands and melts me with his mouth.
In between, his hands start to trace my legs from my waist, reminding me of how he touched me last night.
From my toes to my head, I felt a sweet sensation that sent shivers down my spine.
Yoshino: "Haa.....No, Morinaga-san. Someone...might see us...."
Tumblr media
Morinaga: "How can I stop, when you make that lovely face? You're such a sly, first, you make that face, and then you won't even let me play."
Yoshino: "What do....you mean by 'play'?"
Morinaga: "Play with you, of course."
Yoshino: "No. Not now....!"
I shouted and pressed the package against his chest and Morinaga-san chuckled.
Yoshino: "Are you teasing me....?"
Morinaga: "No,..... it's just that you're so comfortable with me that I got carried away."
(.....Mm)
A gentle but dangerous flame of greed burned in his eyes, which were drawn back by a pleasant smile.
As soon as I realized this, we kissed again.
Samurai 1: "Morinaga-sama! We're back!"
(.....!?)
Samurai 1: "Huh, I don't see Morinaga-sama."
Samurai 2: "Maybe he had gone somewhere?"
(Everyone is back....!)
A voice from the other side of the stage made me instantly impatient.
They are nice people who are happy to see us together, but there is no way I can show them this.
Yoshino: "Morinaga-san, they are all here. Let go now...."
I try to pull away, but the hand on my hip doesn't budge.
Morinaga: "Heh, are you sure you wanna go in front of other men with that face?"
Yoshino: "Mm....."
The back of his fingers brushed my cheek, kindling another sweet tingle.
Morinaga: "Teary eyes, blushing face.... I'm the only one allowed to see you like this. Isn't that right?"
Yoshino: ".....Y-Yes..."
Morinaga: "Yeah, good girl."
Satisfied with my reply, Morinaga-san comes closer and rubs the tip of our noses together....
When I had my fill of hidden kisses, the package I had to deliver was gently taken away.
Morinaga: "I'll deliver this. If they see you right now, I'll be jealous. Thank you, and be careful on your way back."
Yoshino: "Ah....."
(---Let's run.)
Even my breath is hot and I feel a little embarrassed again.
(Alas! What a sly person.......... who only makes me throb.)
.................
One day after that-----
Merchant 1: "Did you hear? There's going to be a big raffle at the festival, and everyone gets to draw once."
(Heh, I see.)
I came to the town to sell medicine and listened to the voices I heard.
But then----
Merchant 1: "And the raffle! The first prize is the right to have one wish granted by Morinaga-sama."
(Ehh?)
Merchant 2: "Is that so? Well, then we'll have our roof repaired."
Kids: "We want Morinaga-san to play with us!"
Merchant 3: "Hmmm, maybe I'll have a lesson in the art of gambling then."
(Hehe. There are many kinds of wishes.)
I smile as people talk happily about the festival.
Woman: "Really!, then, that I should invite Morinaga-sama on a date."
(....!?)
Merchant 1: "Well, maybe you will surely get your way with him! Now we'll all be participating in the raffle anyway!"
(No no no no.....whaa?)
I could no longer listen to their excited laughter with any sense of calm.
(Is it possible that Morinaga-san will go on a date with other women....?)
....................
Morinaga: "Ohhh, so I'm the prize. I've been a winner but never been a prize before."
Yoshino: "What do you mean, you didn't know?"
When I asked him about it after returning to the Imperial Palace, he gave me a very relaxed response.
Kagetoki: "You're very popular with people. It's going to be a lot of fun, isn't it?"
Morinaga: "I'm not sure if that was your idea, Kagetoki, I don't mind, though. But at the very least, you should have informed me about this. Yoritomo-sama, entrust this to me, you know?"
Kagetoki: "It's not going to change anything. It's up to you to make it happen."
Morinaga: "That's true."
As Morinaga-san pondered this, my concern deepened.
(.....I'm sure it's a good event, as the aim is to provide fun for the people of the town.)
(But what if Morinaga-san goes on to date with the person who drew the first prize...!)
...................
After Morinaga-san and Kagetoki-san had gone, I gave a small shrug of my shoulders.
(I don't want Morinaga-san to go on a date with....any other woman.)
Shigehira: "Yoshino-san, what are you doing here?"
Yoshino: "! Shigehira-kun."
When I expressed my concerns to Shigehira-kun, who said he would listen to me, he looked at me in dismay.
Shigehira: "Oh, dear! That's what you're worried about?"
Yoshino: "Yeah!"
Shigehira: "It's certainly possible that a woman with such hopes could win first prize."
(Mmmmm....)
Shigehira: "But I don't think he's going to take it very well with you around. I think you should talk to him directly, not me."
Tumblr media
Shigehira: "----You guys are in love, right?"
Yoshino: "....! Thank you, Shigehira-kun."
(It's nice to have straightforward encouragement at a time like this.)
(Okay. Let's talk to Morinaga-san about this later.)
.................
But Morinaga-san was always busy, and time went by without him having a chance.
(Hmmm, what to do....)
The day before the festival, I was returning from the city to the palace with a troubled mind.
(Oh, I can hear some voices....)
(Morinaga-san must be rehearsing for his festival.)
I stopped to look around and a shrine happened to catch my eye.
(I'm not sure if I'll be able to see him today... can I ask God for help?)
I put my hands together, closed my eyes, and breathe.
(I have one wish....-----)
(May I win the first prize in tomorrow’s raffle!)
Morinaga: "You look very serious. Is something bothering you?"
Yoshino: "Ah, Morinaga-san.....!?"
Morinaga: "Hey. It's been a while since I've seen our face properly."
I looked up at the familiar voice and saw Morinaga-san standing right next to me.
Yoshino: "What are you doing here? I thought you were practicing?"
Morinaga: "Right. We were just about to wrap up. I was just about to join you. But what's wrong with you? It seems like you're asking God for help."
(Okay....there's no better opportunity than now.)
Yoshino: "Morinaga-san, I have something to talk about. Can I have some of your time?"
Morinaga: "Talk? About what?"
Yoshino: "If it's a bother then----"
Morinaga: "Not at all. You're always welcome to talk to me. Then come to my house tonight. It's been a while since we've spent any time together."
Yoshino: "Yes....!"
(I only got my promise. Thank you god.)
.........
Thus, I was invited to visit Morinaga-san in his room....
I went to the house at a time when the practice would be over and was immediately shown into Morinaga-san's room.
(Hmm. I don't think he's home yet....)
I relaxed my shoulders and looked around.
As I was wondering how I was going to start the conversation----
I heard someone's footsteps walking towards me.
Morinaga: "Here you are. Have I kept you waiting long?"
(Ah.....!)
Yoshino: "No, I just arrived...."
No sooner had I said this than Morinaga-san sat down in front of me.
Morinaga: "Come here."
(Ehh!)
He lifts me up by my waist and placed me on his lap.
Morinaga: "What do you wanna talk about? Let me hear it."
(Like this....!?)
This position, straddling on Morinaga-san's lap and resting my weight on them is too embarrassing.
But the hands that pulled me down to my waist wouldn’t allow me to move away.
Morinaga: "I'm getting a bit tired after all the work we've been doing for the festival. It wouldn't hurt to get a little energy from my own little girl for a night, would it?"
(That's a little.....)
My heart fluttered as I realized that the eyes staring at me had long since reached a fever pitch.
Tumblr media
Morinaga: "Hey, can I kiss you?"
Yoshino: "....... Yes."
His slightly rough, masculine lips press softly against mine.
(Mm.....)
I haven't had the sensation of a moist, repeated kiss for days.
The feeling makes us breathless, and we lose ourselves in each other.
(Oh, my hands....)
I felt a gentle nudge of the leg that had been straddling my thigh, and the pit of my stomach slowly....melted.
The finger that entered through the hem of the kimono traced up my inner thigh as if it had seen through it.
(Ah-----no!)
I wondered at his hand, which had stopped just before touching my fragile part, and met his eyes, which narrowed happily.
Morinaga: "...I think I'd better go on from here after I've heard all your troubles. What's the matter?"
(Ngh....)
Yoshino: "Not fair....Morinaga-san..."
(You stopped it on purpose....!)
I looked at Morinaga-san, in tears and he smiles back at me.
Morinaga: "Don't get me wrong. You see, if I don't ask you now, I won't have the chance to ask later."
(Hm...Mm....)
The hand that had been touching my waist, started stroking lovingly, and I couldn't help but rock my hips unintentionally.
Yoshino: "This is....embarrassing..."
Morinaga: "Well then...
(Oh, I'm still at his mercy....)
Embarrassed, I finally gave up.
I started talking about how I was worried after hearing that anyone could be the winner in the raffle, and the winner could ask on a date with Morinaga-san.
I also revealed that I asked God to let me win the first prize.
Morinaga: "You're really cute."
Yoshino:"...Don't laugh."
Morinaga: "I'm not teasing you. I'm just really happy."
Morinaga-san stroked my cheek and my eyes softened....
Morinaga: "But Yoshino, in such case, you should turn to me, not to God. Because it's my job, not anyone's, to grant your request."
(Morinaga-san....)
Morinaga: "And don't worry. If someone asks me to do something like that, I'll let him off with a no. I know it's a bit unfair, but I'm not saying I'll not do anything. I've already got the most important woman in the world, it's only natural, right?"
(Nn....)
The sweetness of his voice as he says it gently makes my heart tighten.
Yoshino: "So I'm the only one who can go out with Morinaga-an, right....?"
Morinaga: "Of course. And going on a date... You're the only person I'd want to do these kinds of things with."
I repeated his words in a low voice and hugged Morinaga-san, tightly.
(That's great.... I told Morinaga-san and in no time I had nothing but happy feelings.)
Morinaga: "...Did I reassure you a little?"
Yoshino: "Yes, thank you! This way, even if I don't win the first prize I won't be jealous of anyone else. Maybe I won't even have to draw lots at all."
Morinaga: "You're of those people who lives in Kamakura, so you have the right to draw. The pride of the Kamakura Shogunate, it's the best thing that's happened all summer. Come and try it for yourself."
Yoshino: "Sure. I'll try it to test out my luck."
I replied with a smile-- and Morinaga-san suddenly looked into my eyes.
Morinaga: "....Yoshino. What do you want me to do if you win the first prize? What's your wish?"
Yoshino: "Well....I'd like to enjoy our time together. Morinaga-san, you're always surrounded by so many people. So I will ask you to let me have you all to myself."
Morinaga-san laughed aloud.
Morinaga: "I hope you’ll really wish that when you win."
...............
On the day of the festival---
(Wow, what a busy street.)
The town, decorated with festive decorations, was crowded with spectators.
On a special stage, Morinaga-san and his friends were just finishing their performance.
Samurai 1: "Ah! Morinaga-sama, Yoshino-san is here."
Yoshino: "Morinaga-san, Thank you for your hard work."
Tumblr media
Morinaga: "Yeah.....!"
Looking back at him, Morinaga-san's eyes widened and then he immediately smiled.
Morinaga: "My god, you tied your hair up today. It's nice and cool. It suits you. Oh, by the way, did you draw the raffle? It's about to close."
Yoshino: "About that...."
Samurai 2: "You're just in time. Go on, take one."
When I picked up one from the raffle boxes offered to me, I was a little nervous.
(But I'm fine.)
I looked up at Morinaga-san and his kind, narrowed eyes reassured me.
Samurai 1: “Um.... Actually, we’re sorry.”
Yoshino: “Huh? What for?”
Surprised by the sudden apology, a few of the people swept their eyes apologetically.
Samurai 1: “We were there when Morinaga-sama was planned to be the first prize for the raffle.”
Samurai 2: “Later we realized that if a woman who liked Morinaga-sama drew the first prize, what would she wish for.... You guys have just recently started dating, and we should have stopped them.”
Samurai 3: “But this one time we couldn’t. But we support Morinaga-sama and Yoshino-san from the bottom of our hearts!”
(Eh)
Standing next to me, Morinaga-san laughs out loud,
Morinaga: “Thank you for worrying about me. But that’s okay. I’ve already talked to Yoshino about it, right?”
Yoshino: “Yes!”
Samurai: “! What.....”
Morinaga-san and I chuckled, though we apologized for the puzzled looks on everyone’s faces.
Morinaga: “Well, I’d better get ready for the result announcement. Will you come to see the results?”
Yoshino: “Yes! I want to see if I win the first prize!”
Morinaga: “I’m looking forward to it too. Win the first prize and keep me to yourself.”
As the sun went down, the excitement of the festival covered the town of Kamakura.
Morinaga: “Well, here we go! It’s time for the Kamakura summer lottery, which our main attraction.”
(Finally....!)
The festival site was the most exciting place of the day.
Thanks to the support of the Shogunate, the prizes are all very generous.
(We all want to be challenged, don’t we?)
Many people who have won the raffle were happy with their prizes, while some were disappointed.
The tension and excitement grew with each successive announcement of the third and second prizes.
Morinaga: “And now, for the most awaited one! The first prize! I’ll grant the person who wins first prize, one wish. You can ask me any favor you want...-----”
Premium END // Epilogue
I loved it! I loved every bit of this story. So who do you think will win? Will it be Yoshino? or some random woman? or a kid? or Yoritomo-sama?.....you’re all free to guess.

Excerpt from “Dreaming of a Liar: Kokichi Ouma x Reader” (slight NSFW)
I’ve been writing a fanfiction on wattpad, and this is an excerpt from chapter four that I’m proud of. It’s a Kokichi Ouma x Reader (female).
Basically Monokuma has gone to the good side and brings all the Danganronpa Characters (from the main three games plus Komaru, excluding Twogami and seperating Hajime Hinata and Izuru Kamakura into seperate entities) and puts them all in one class, but doesn’t hold a killing game for once!
But in order to have a perfect 50 student total, he needs one more student. So he takes a person from the real world and brings them into the class to learn alongside the students! But it’s while your sleeping, so when you meet an interesting supreme leader, is it really reality, or just a dream?
There’s a specific scene that gets a little NSFW, I’ll give you a heads up when it comes.
I also tried my best to make Kokichi canon as possible, so let me know if I did a good job or if I didn’t.
So, enjoy!
*^*^*^*^*
I followed this Alter Ego hologram along with the rest of the students, as we were instructed to by Monokuma. Of course the one who didn't leave my side was Kokichi.
"Sooooo," Kokichi put his hands behind his head as he walked, which I imagined couldn't be too comfortable. "You mentioned back there that you've never been in a killing game. Like, ever. Is that true?"
"Well, most kids my age aren't put in a killing game," I shrugged. "Can't help but feel bad for the others, though."
"Actually, it's not that bad," Kokichi said matter-of-factly. "Well, for me at least. Nishishi~!"
I rolled my (E/C) eyes. "Oh come on," I scoffed. "There had to be some point where you were scared shitless."
"Scared shitless about what, exactly?"
I stared at Kokichi, dumbfounded. How could he act like being in a killing game wasn't a big deal?! A person would have to be a complete sociopath to act so nonchalant about something so serious and terrifying! I paused, clearing my throat to regain my composure. "W-Well, I don't know, dying?"
Kokichi snickered. "Pfft! Come on, really? Dying? Gee, you are a hoot!" He
"I'm serious!" I remarked, bewildered. "Almost every human being is afraid of what lies beyond death! It's the greatest mystery known to man-!"
He put a finger to my lips. "Notice how you said almost every human being. I am not like most humans, heck, I might not even be human, you never know," He smirked, the glint in his amethyst eyes filled with mischief. "Besides, I was a victim. I said so in my introduction earlier. Squished to death. I already know what lies beyond the grave, Ms. (Y/N), believe me." He hissed into my ear, making me shiver.
"R-Really?" I stuttered, now a bit uneasy. "Is that s-so..."
"Yep!" His attitude perked right back up. "After all, I was revived. Heck, I could even tell you all about it if you wanted, though it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg!"
"But you didn't know what death was like before you died, Kokichi," I glanced up at him, staring into his eyes. "You don't seem like the type of person who is always fearless. In fact, it seems you hide many fears, including death itself," This time, it was my turn to smirk. "Though I'm not one to assume."
Kokichi's face turned pink, sweat starting to roll down his face. He glanced down at the floor, not meeting my gaze. "Well, I never expected something like that to come out of you..." His voice trailed off. "You're certainly something, aren't you?"
"Same goes for you," I responded. He blinkd at me. "You have some good acting skills, but then again, I can't expect anything less from a liar."
"Wooow, you caught on that quickly?" He started to pout, his expression changing like a remote changing the TV channel. "Bummer, I thought I could mess with you for a bit. You aren't so bad yourself, with acting. Kinda caught me a little off-guard there. You suurree you're just a transfer student?"
"I'm sure," I insisted. "I'm not really good at anything specific, skill or anything like that."
"Liar, liar, pants on fire~!" He singed. "You're good at acting, so just take the damn compliment!"
"If you say so..." I whistled shifting my attention to Alter Ego, who stopped at a doorway.
"Right now, we are in the main building on campus. This is where you gather for meals, classes, and special events that take place in the school. Most of the classrooms are unoccupied, so that gives many students a chance to start clubs and hold small get-togethers," The hologram started to elaborate. "Where we just gathered is the gymnasium, which is where most school-wide events and gym classes take place. Right down the hall is the stairwell up to the third floor, which is where most of you came from in pairs of two or three. We have around thirty empty classrooms here."
"Across from the gymnasium is the cafeteria, which will open it's doors along with the gym at seven am. It will close at ten pm. On weekends, it will be closed, and students can only ask permission to use it from the principal and or faculty. From the cafeteria, you can access the kitchen, pantry, and walk-in fridge, but only after three pm to ten pm. Breakfast and lunch will be prepared by the MonoLadies, but dinner must be prepared by the students. The kitchen staff also has access to the greenhouse using a second stairwell located in the kitchen."
As we entered the cafeteria, I couldn't help but marvel at the amount of tables were set up. And just a simple glance at the lunch line made my mouth start to salivate at the thought of so much food.
"Now, right outside the cafeteria are you lockers, which you will store your belongs temporarily. You are allowed to decorate the inside of your lockers however you please, but all personal items must be removed from them before the end of the day. Your monopad serves as your combination and lock. Your monopad will unlock your corresponding locker. Other students can leave you messages, and you can even post reminders and other messages."
I took out my monopad and hit the tab that was labeled Locker. It showed me a map of where it was located, which was the farthest away from the cafeteria door. Easy to remember, but the worst access to food. It had an inbox, which read zero messages, and a calender with bullitins to add on. As other students went to find and test out their new lockers, I went up to mine. As soon as I approached it and held the monopad up to where the lock should be, there was a click and I was able to swing the door right open.
There was shelves to put books and other supplies, hooks to hang up bags and coats, and on the back of the door a digital calender. "Sweet." I remarked.
"I wonder if you can play games on this thing..." The girl who introduced herself as Chiaki said earlier. I glanced over at the locker besides me, and it seems she was my locker neighbor. "Probably not..."
"That would be pretty cool, though." I admitted, grabbing her attention. She gave me a small smile, and I returned the kind gesture.
"If you'll follow me, please," Alter Ego gathered up the students once more. "To the right of the lockers is where you'll find the Fitness Center, where there is multiple work out machines. It's doors open at six am, but you can only access it before seven with a pass from the principal or faculty. It closes at nine pm. Right across from there is where the bathrooms and locker rooms are, as well as the second entrance to the gymnasium. The lockerooms and bathrooms can only be accessed using your monopad, to make sure you aren't going into the wrong one. To the other gender, it is locked. They open at six am and close at ten pm. Like the fitness center, you can only access the lockerooms if you have a pass administered by the principal or faculty."
"Do we have lockers in there like the ones we have at the entrance?" A boy by the name of Kazuichi asked.
"Yes, indeed," Alter Ego responded. "Now, follow me up to the second floor."
We followed Alter Ego back around near the gym entrance and up the set of stairs at the end of the hallway. And the strangest design was that to our right was the greenhouse. The entire wall was glass looking in. The greenhouse was filled with all sorts of plants, flowers, harvestables, you name it. There was even a picnic table in there. "To our right is the greenhouse, which is where we grow our food and many other flora. Students are also allowed to eat and spend time in there, but only with permission from the faculty. Unless students are part of our gardening club, which will open up soon."
I pondered the thought of spending time with Kokichi in the greenhouse. It would be a nice place, but there would be too much stimulation for our noses in there. I didn't know if Kokichi had a flower allergy or not. So the greenhouse was off the list.
Alter Ego lead us down the hallway to a more open space with couches and nice places to sit, with a big entrance labeled Library straight ahead. "This is an area where students can study and interact with each other with a more greater volume," The hologramed A.I. explained. "And down the hall to your right is the multimedia center, where there is printers and computers and other technology. I will give you a few minutes to explore these two areas before we re-group."
I instantly went inside the library. That was my go-to. Growing up with my brother, since we never really had much form of entertainment, would go to the library and read all sorts of books together. Some of my favorite authors were J. K. Rowling, Lemony Snicket, and Stephen King. There were dozens upon dozens of shelves towering above me. There were long tables with reading lamps, a cozy fireplace with large plush-looking armchairs and loveseats. To top it off, one of the walls were completely glass, letting natural light into the room, casting a heavenly glow onto the books. I couldn't stop myself from gawking.
"Wow, you a bookworm or something?" Kokichi came up from behind me. "You seem a little out of it..."
"I read plenty of books when growing up, so I'm practically in heaven," I breathed. I turned to Kokichi, which by the look of his expression was amused by me nerding-out. "This would be the perfect place to hang out!"
"I dunno, libraries kinda make me uneasy..." His voice trailed off. "Ever since Rantaro died in one, they kinda just are sorta creepy to me nowadays..."
I frowned, realizing I was making him uncomfortable. "Oh, I'm sorry Kokichi, I didn't mean-"
"Juuuust kidding~!" He winked. "Libraries just aren't my style, y'know?"
"Liar..." I mumbled.
"That's what I am!" Kokichi beamed with pride. He then grabbed my wrist. "C'mon, let's go check out the multimedia center!" He then started running, dragging me along with him, out of the library and down the hall, where a handful of other students were.
When we entered, the first thing I made note of was the amount of computers there were. Plenty of them, all lined up in five rows of eight. Along the windows were tables with 3D printers and regular printers set up. At the front of the room was a big screen, which I assumed was gonna be used for displaying videos and power points.
"Not gonna lie, I thought it would be more exciting," Kokichi heaved a sigh of disapointment. "All the nerds here must be over the moon, though."
"I think it's a bit over-the-top for a high school computer room," I whistled. "I'm kinda impressed that they have so many resources here. But then again, it's a school for gifted teenagers..."
"When are we gonna go to the next area?" Kokichi examined his hand in what I assumed out of boredom.
"I don't know," I shrugged, longing to explore the library more. "I'm gonna go back to the library." I told Kokichi as I started to make my way back to the room filled with books.
"Well wait for me, idiot." Kokichi sped up so he could besides me.
"I thought libraries weren't your style," I raised an eyebrow at him. "Or was that another lie?"
"Well, you never know if there's a secret room in the library," Kokichi flashed me a mischeivious smile. "Or better yet something even cooler!"
"You make a good point there, Kokichi." I nodded in his direction as I continued my way through the library doors.
(At this point it becomes a bit NSFW)
As I scanned the shelves in the different sections, Kokichi dawdled behind. It was kinda weird, though. He was just staring behind me, as if he was scanning me up and down. Not really observing, but something else...
"What'cha doing back there, Kokichi?" I looked back at him. He was leaning against a shelf, just staring at me."
"Nothing much," He shrugged, smirking. "Just enjoying the view, that's all~..."
I blinked, furrowing my brow. "Of what, exactly?"
"Whaaaaattttt~? You seriously don't know...?" Kokichi came up to me and backed me up into another shelf. He propped his hand against it, leaning into me. "...I'm looking at a snack~..." His voice became low and husky.
I stared at him. "I don't have food on me, Kokichi," I told him. I then paused in consideration. "I would like to have some, though. If I did I would share it with you, if that's what your essentially asking me."
"Nishishi~!" He chuckled. "Oh no, you are sorely mistaken! It's all over you..."
(Becomes SFW once again)
"Do I got a mustard stain on my shirt or something?"
"Kokichi, stop it!!" A voice then came from down the aisle. I turned my head to see the blonde girl that was next to me during everyone's introductions and a guy with cyan-colored hair and thick lower eyelashes. The command came from the male, who was pointing right at Kokichi.
"Shuichi!!" Kokichi seemed to bounce right back at the sight of the cyan-haired male and charged right at him, arms outstretched to give him a hug. The guy then froze up, and was tackled to the ground by Kokichi. "I missed you sooooooo much!!"
"K-Kokichi, get off of me!!" The guy stuttered, struggling to get the smaller male off of him.
The blonde girl came up to me, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you okay? It looked like Kokichi had you pinned against the shelf, there." She asked, pointing to the shelf.
"I'm good- Ah, Katie, was it?" I scrunched up my face trying to remember the girl's name."
"Kaede," The girl corrected me with a bright smile. "Kaede Akamatsu."
"Right, sorry," I quickly apologized. "Yeah, I'm perfectly fine, thanks for asking," I turned my attention towards Kokichi, who was straddling the poor guy at this point. "Uh, Kokichi, I think you should get off him now."
"Awwwww..." He whined, pouting. "Okay, then!" He then jumped right back on his feet, letting the man stand up. Kokichi then skipped back besides me
"Kokichi, what the hell were you doing to this poor girl?!" The guy scolded as he brushed off his black and grey stripped blazer. "I mean, pinning her down, what were you thinking?!"
"Who are you, again?" I pointed at the guy. "Sorry, there was so many introductions I can hardly remember the all."
"Shuichi Saihara," The guy reintroduced himself, giving me a small smile. "Ultimate Detective."
"Nice to meet you, Shuichi," I smiled back. "Same for you, Kaede," I nodded to Kaede. "But uh- no, it's totally fine. He just thought I had food on me and asked for some, it's all good."
"Pffffttthahahahahaha!!" Kokichi doubled over and went out into complete hysteria, clutching his sides and slapping his knees. "Ohmygod you're so stupid!! Hahahahaaaaaa!!" He wheezed.
"How?" I stared down at him in confusion. "You we're looking at me, I asked why, you said you were looking at a snack, I said I didn't have food on me, then you said it was all over me, and then you tackled Shuichi. I don't see why I'm the stupid one here, because you're the one that insisted that I had food on me which I clearly don't." I gestured to my clothes to show the lack of crumbs and stains.
"U-Um, that's- ah..." Shuichi's voice started to crack, him covering his mouth while he looked down at the floor, clearing avoiding my gaze.
"I think what Kokichi was trying to call you was- um..." Kaede's voice trailed off, uneasiness in her voice. "...s-sexually appealing."
"Oh," I blinked, turning my attention back to Kokichi. "Um, thanks for the compliment?"
"I was just messing with 'ya," Kokichi waved it off with a hand, him catching his breath. "I would never think of you like that, let alone perv on 'ya," He reassured me, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. "Oh my god, that was priceless!" He sighed.
"For you, that is. It's just confusing for me," I shrugged. "I've never really been the type of gal to think about that kind of stuff, so I don't know sex terms or the meaning of when someone calls another person a snack."
"Then toying with you is gonna be more difficult then I thought," Kokichi started to bite his thumbnail, muttering. Then he quickly put his hands resting on the back his head. "Ah well, I'll figure out something. For now, I gotta make sure that filthy cum dumpster doesn't taint your innocent mind~!"
"I'm not that innocent, I'm aware about sex. I just know little to nothing about it..." My voice trailed off at the end. "Also, what's a cum dumpster?"
"Don't ask." Shuichi shook his head.
"Why that loud filthy pig during the introductions, of course!" Kokichi exclaimed, his tone matter-of-factly. "You must stay away from her at all costs, 'ya hear me? She's an absolute slut that will tell you all the terms about sex, and you're too innocent to be taught those awful things!"
"Your treating me like child," I pointed out. And at this point I felt like one, though Kokichi was only a smidge taller than me. "I'm sixteen years old, I can make my own decisions. And I can remember her name no prob, her introduction was the one that was the most out there. Miu Iruma, Ultimate Inventor."
"It's not very nice to call Miu such vulgar names, Kokichi," Kaede informed the violet-eyed boy. "She probably doesn't enjoy the names you give her, either."
"She probably likes it when she's hooking up with someone," Kokichi shrugged. "So I don't see why I can't call her names."
"I think a more polite way to describe Miu is that she's sexually active," I suggested. "Besides, she seems to be brimming with self confidence."
"Well yeah, same thing..." Kokichi muttered, suddenly gaining some attitude. "And that's not self-confidence, it's narcissism." He quickly added on.
"You can't exactly be one to talk, Kokichi," Shuichi pipped up. "You can be a bit full of yourself sometimes."
"Yeah but not as often as Miu, and I'm leaving it at that." Kokichi folded his arms across his chest, leaving us all in an awkward silence.

So what happened to the 78th class if it's not to spoilery? (Like specifics on who murdered who and that stuff)
Tumblr media
//i actually wrote notes on how the game goes in this au so thanks for asking!
notes under the cut (warning, it’s a lot to read, and also equivalent to rambling, not all of this is entirely solid yet and there may be holes in logic compared to the original, I’ll also include a short explanation of what happens after the game ends)
After The Incident, the 78th class agrees to barricade themselves into Hope’s Peak High, to avoid the riots outside. In doing this, they also trap themselves with Ultimate Despairs, Mukuro, Junko, and Ishimaru. Junko and Ishimaru start planning for the Killing School Life.
Shortly before beginning the game, Ishimaru executes Junko and Jin Kirigiri in a fit of despair in front of the 78th class, then uses Yasuke Matsuda’s memory removal method to wipe everyone’s memories.
The big difference here is that there is no Junko impostor, and Mukuro participates as herself, with all memories wiped.
Also, Ishimaru participates and acts as if he’s just another victim instead of barricading himself in the data room like Junko does in the original.
The motives all remain the same, The videos of everybody’s captives, (including Ishimaru’s, and for Mukuro it’s a video of Junko’s execution), the embarrassing secrets, the money, and instead of the revelation of Sakura being a mole, (since she dies in the first case), Monokuma spreads lies to make everyone believe there is a traitor, when really, there isn’t.
(I won’t be going into the absolute evidence details, only major events like character interactions and crossings with the canon story)
In the first case, Mukuro kills Sakura.
Mukuro is threatened by the video of Junko, and wants to escape the school immediately to find out what happened to her sister. Meanwhile, The mastermind blackmails Sakura into killing someone, and she and Mukuro have a chance meeting in the student dorm area after everyone had gone to bed.
While this happens, Sayaka is still making her plan to kill Leon and has switched rooms with Naegi already.
Mukuro kills Sakura and hides the evidence of the murder, but leaves the body in the hallway so everybody is put under suspicion, and shortly after, Leon goes to visit Sayaka, but sees the body and panics, running to his room and waiting out the night instead of seeing Sayaka.
The night goes on until morning comes, and Ishimaru wakes up earlier than everybody else to go to the breakfast meeting, and finds Sakura’s body leaned up against the wall. He goes to alert everybody else about the discovery, and eventually the body discovery announcement goes off.
The trial later on ends with Kyoko and Naegi dragging the truth out of Leon and successfully indicting Mukuro.
Mukuro is executed.
The execution i thought up for her involves her being carried by soldiers with Monokuma heads to a room for execution by firing squad. She manages to break free of their grip and kills them with a knife hidden in her boot, and runs for a door that reads exit, only to find a long concrete corridor, with tall walls. She attempts to climb them, only to find that she can’t. Meanwhile, more Monokuma faced soldiers come into the room, grab her, and blindfold her, facing her forward to a firing squad. She gives one last smile as she remembers Junko and how this might be filling her with despair right now. The Monokumas shoot their rifles, one hitting her square in the head, killing her instantly.
In case 2, Asahina is depressed and upset over the death of Sakura, who she was just getting to become friends with.
Eventually, Monokuma reveals the dirty secret motive.
In this timeline, Ishimaru happens to be in the locker room around the time that Mondo would have lost it and killed Chihiro, and because of this, Chihiro isn’t murdered.
Instead, Celes is threatened by the dirty secrets, and blackmails Hifumi into helping her plan a murder in the pool area. Asahina overhears their plans and goes to the meeting place to talk the two of them out of it, claiming that nobody else should have to die like Sakura and Mukuro did.
Celes doesnt listen, and Asahina in a dire attempt to save everybody from Celes and Hifumi, slams Celes into the pool and kills her.
Hifumi, meanwhile, is waiting for Celes to carry out their plan, and grows worried when she doesn’t meet with him, so he goes to check on her and finds her dead body floating below the surface of the pool.
Asahina is found as the culprit, and is executed.
For Case 3, Monokuma reveals the money motive, and nobody is biting.
Hagakure and Leon are socializing and hanging out in the rec room, and Leon makes a joke along the lines of, “I may actually kill someone if we have to stay like this any longer” and Hagakure takes it seriously. The two have a massive misunderstanding and Hagakure threatens to tell everyone else that Leon intends to kill someone, and Leon becomes deadly serious, threatening Hagakure with a nearby Monokuma bottle. Hagakure retaliates by hitting Leon on the head with another one of the bottles, causing him to pass out, while Hagakure runs out of the room.
Wondering why Leon didn’t follow after him, He goes back to check and finds Leon dead on the ground.
Panicked, he takes some of Leon’s blood and writes a fake dying message pointing to Mondo.
Mondo does pass by the rec room and sees the body and the writing left on the ground, and goes inside to smear it so nobody can read what it says, then leaves, so nobody wrongfully suspects him.
Later on, Makoto and Chihiro go to the rec room and find the body, as the body discovery announcement goes off.
Hagakure is found guilty and executed.
In case 4, the remaining survivors theorize that there may be a traitor in their midst, and Monokuma lies, saying there is a traitor, when really, they are already dead (Sakura was the traitor and died in the first case).
Sayaka, who only got by without killing anybody by hanging out with Leon (who is dead now) and Makoto (who is now spending most of his time with Kyoko) plans a murder to get out of the school.
She decides to try and kill Chihiro, as he’s the weakest of the survivors, and writes a note to him, asking him to meet in the warehouse.
Her plan goes similarly to the first case of the original game, she waits around a corner with a kitchen knife waiting for her victim. Chihiro ends up being late after running into Mondo and Ishimaru in the hallways, while Hifumi goes there to look for more anime merch to put in his room.
Sayaka ends up killing Hifumi by accident, thinking it was Chihiro.
Sayaka is later found guilty, and executed.
Case 5 and 6 go almost exactly like the original game cases, the difference this time being that instead of Mukuro, Kyoko suspects that Junko is the mastermind, as she’s ever appeared in front of them, when in fact, Junko has been dead from the beginning and stowed away into the body freezers, and her body is used at the crime scene with the white coat and mask.
Ishimaru originally put on the mask and attacked Makoto in his room, being chased off by Kyoko, who was locked out of her room by Byakuya. Later on, Ishimaru, Chihiro, Mondo, Byakuya, and Toko are in the gym taking Monokuma apart, while Kyoko is missing and Makoto is sleeping.
Junko’s body appears in the garden with the mask and coat, and the bomb that Genocider Syo activates burns the body beyond recognition.
The trial goes unfinished and the group accuses Makoto, sending him to his execution, but Alter Ego, who Makoto, Chihiro, and Kyoko planted into the school’s computer system, stops the execution, sending Makoto to the trash room where Kyoko rescues him.
Later, everybody begins exploring the school for the final investigation and the final trial. In the trial, they find that Junko was originally a mastermind but was killed, so the only one who could be the mastermind was someone in the room with them, as Kyoko found a laptop pointing to Monokuma being an AI like Chihiro’s AI, Alter Ego. (This is the Junko AI that Kamakura later manages to plant into the Neo World Program in SDR2)
Everyone begins to suspect each other until the evidence leads them to suspect Ishimaru, Mondo goes into an outrage at this and tries to defend Ishimaru, until eventually Ishimaru admits to being the mastermind, and to killing Junko.
He attempts to fill everyone with despair at the thought of being released into the outside world, and it works until Makoto gives everybody hope.
They all vote against Ishimaru.
A different version of Super Duper Nasty Torture happens, where the executions go: Makoto’s (he wears a helmet and isnt killed by the crusher, dont question it Junko got hit by a pile driver in the original and survived), Sayaka’s, Hagakure’s, Asahina’s, Jin and Junko’s, and then Mukuro’s, with a twist.
Just before the bullet aimed for his head lands, an explosion goes off, knocking a hole in the wall and throwing Ishimaru into the outside world, while the survivors who are still watching are convinced that he died in the explosion, and he is proclaimed dead by the Future Foundation. The reality is that Kamakura managed to sneak into the building and set the explosion as a decoy, to make the world think that Ishimaru died, while allowing Ishimaru to escape the execution, albeit badly injured, but alive. Kamakura sneaks out of the building and grabs Ishimaru before anyone can find him, nurses him back to health while running from the future foundation, and the two manage to make it to Towa City, to call the Remnants of Despair to destroy the Future Foundation.
The survivors leave the building with the escape button that Ishimaru left behind, and are picked up by the Future Foundation, Makoto, Kyoko, Byakuya, and Toko follow the same roles they do in the original, while Chihiro helps with tech support and the Neo World Program for the Remnants, and Mondo acts as Byakuya’s backup force and meets Kanon Nakajima in Towa City, in Hagakure’s place.

Winter 2017 Anime First Impressions
The first season we’re really feeling the effects of more anime simulcast services. Yellow subs, torrents not being under the CR/Funi umbrella - dark times. Due to the fact I can only DDL at college, I am choosing not to watch LWA or Onihei because I wouldn’t be able to keep up with them. I’m definitely going back to LWA after the season’s over though. Regardless, this season has the usual ups and downs, but initially I’m seeing a lot of ups - Maidragon is fantastic, Demi-chan and Urara are cute as hell, and Scum’s Wish is almost emotionally draining to watch, it’s so enthralling. Here’s what I’m watching, with MAL links: Fuuka (MAL) Starting off, we have an ecchi almost-harem manga that I didn't like. Great. Fuuka has the original plot elements of a shut-in guy that popular on the internet, who also has a super-popular girl as his childhood friend and soon gets to know another cute girl. Also his three sisters never wear clothes. Cool. Fuuka wasn't really that shit until the truck-to-the-face level plot twist that occurred in the manga, which I hope they will reach in the anime just for the reactions to how bullshit it is. Other than that, Fuuka is a less-than-stellar sort of harem about a whiny, bland main character. Fuuka even falls on the MC twice in the first episode for good measure. Oh, I guess also the plot involves playing music, but that's basically just a way for more random good things to happen to an unlikable character. OP and ED are nothing special, either. If anything, Diomedia's art style is usually good. Otherwise, avoid. Masamune-kun no Revenge (MAL) A story of a fat kid who got ripped and now wants to get revenge on his former crush. It's something new, for sure. The completely worthless perfect-in-everything trope is now supplied by both the female AND male leads. What a show. At the very least, Masamune-kun tempers the trope by giving both mains embarrassing reasons to keep up airs. The girls we've met aren't half bad, and I for one support a peppy class rep rather than the standard strict, megane type. The princess-complex is so tiring every time it happens, so lets hope that the show moves more toward Makabe/Aki in their real selves rather than putting on airs. Masamune-kun's plot actually strikes me as similar to Last Game, if anyone's read that manga. While I doubt this show will carry far enough into the future to deal with marriage, the story of a guy trying to ruin/outdo a girl and falling for her is definitely there. I have no strong feelings one way or another about this show, at least not yet. That will probably depend on how much princess Aki vs. normal Aki we see. Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu (MAL) I thought Long Riders was last season? Anyway, here we have a slice of life about a girl in a biking club. Relaxing enough premise, for sure. First impressions are that this show takes it pretty slow, judging from the fact that it takes 14 minutes before the main characters get to school at all. That is not a complaint, just an observation. Another is how different the landscape art is from the character art. The show opens with some amazing nature stills, while the character art is, for lack of a better term, "old." As in, it almost has the feel of an earlier 2000s show. I did wonder how much into biking the show would get, like Long Riders did, and the end of episode 1 answered that for me. The last two minutes or so are a live action segment where two of the seiyuu learn about getting into biking by talking to a guy running a bike shop. While the super serious stuff is what kind of made Long Riders fall flat for me, maybe it won't be as serious. We’ll see. Nyanko Days (MAL) I guess since I can't get my Teekyuu fix, I'll have to find a different two-minute show. Nyanko Days is about Tomoko, a girl who has three personified cats. For a two-minute show, that's about how far episode 1 got. She was depressed about being lonely, but cheers up upon arriving home to her three cats, Maa, Shii, and Rou. For a show this short the animation is surprisingly clean, and the 30sec ED was suitably full of "nya" and various words combined with it. It's cute, and it's two minutes long, so why not? Seiren (MAL) I came into this show knowing little more than it was a school romantic comedy, and overall I think it benefited my first impressions. The show focuses on three main girls and their relations with the male MC, and dedicates a few episodes to each of them out of the 12-episode cour. I'm immediately wary of this, only because it gives me flashbacks (read: PTSD) to Photokano, where they focused on a different girl each few episodes and then reset time the next section. I do enjoy the lack of the transfer student trope, at least for the MC. The first moments successfully give you the sense that there is already a school community, something I prefer over having to sort out relationships individually following a transfer. Overall, the MC is pretty standard and the current girl has a tiring personality. As long as this show stays far from resembling trash like Photokano, I think this show will be defined by the personality of the current girl, whether you like that or not. Chaos;Child (MAL) Because we needed more of the Chaos;Head storyline. I don't remember much about Chaos;Head, other than the incredibly shit voice of the main character and the incredibly shit everything else. I watched the first episode in a 1-hour combination with "Episode 0," which is a recap of Head. If you get the HorribleSubs release, that's what the file will be. Anyway, Child itself takes place six years after Head, in which the main character of that show causes some event or something. The recap doesn't help at all. Child follows a school's newspaper club investigating murders similar in strangeness to those during Head. Initially, Takuru seems like a person interested in the depravity and bizaare level of the murders, but that personality gets completely dropped when he tries investigating the newest murder - he completely loses all cool after seeing a body. While that otherwise may be a fairly normal reaction, it goes at odds with the Takuru that had looked at pictures of previous murders and called them "juicy" and interesting. He also regains the first personality after the event is over. Just seems way too abrupt. I will say Itou Kanako returns as she does for everything semi-colon related, and her voice is as good as ever in the OP/ED. I'm thankful for the lack of the otaku protag, but otherwise this seems just as nonsensical as Chaos;Head but with better art. Not looking forward to more. One Room (MAL) The second short show of the season, from famed artist Kantoku. That's the only reason I'm watching this, anyway. This show makes the initially strange choice of being shot in POV, with a voiceless male protagonist. The first episode sees him meet his new high-school girl neighbor, then grow close enough to her that she asks him to help her study. The show is billed as series of shorts focusing on three girls, so I would expect something like four episodes for each one. The most noticeable part of the show is the art, and damn does it look good. Closeups of the girl, fluttering cherry petals, everything is beautiful as a still and smooth when in motion. The POV part is less of a problem for me as I see it as similar to a visual novel, and with the girls being cute and the art being great, this will be an enjoyable watch each week. Kemono Friends (MAL) An all-CG mobile-game show, and a full 24 minutes at that. Why am I watching this? One of the things that stood out immediately was the grating sound of the first two characters's voices. Kemono Friends involves Japari Park, in which anthropomorphized animal girls live and have to deal with aliens called Ceruleans. While the show is clearly projecting a light-hearted tone, it was strange to hear heavy techno during a battle with a big Cerulean. This show looks like no more than a walk around the different areas to see different animal girls. I'd be satisfied with that if it wasn’t just so boring. The OP is suitably bouncy, but even if this show doesn’t get serious, 24 minutes of bad animation is a serious slog. Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (MAL) Ah Kyoani, the true saviors of anime. Kyoto Animation's production budget meets the artstyle and writing of Danna ga Nani's creator. I'm on board. A working adult who drunkenly invites a dragon-girl to be her maid. A unique premise, to be sure. Right off the bat, the contrast between the Tohru's unfazed optimism and Kobayashi being done with her shit all the time made me laugh my ass off. The sequence with Tohru getting more scared of humans when Kobayashi and Takiya are drunk was also top-tier. Art-wise the show looks great, animation is smooth, and Tohru is cute as hell. Always a plus. In addition, I think Kobayashi is a grounded character with a few weird tastes, which is somewhat more relatable than a totally “normal” person, if I'm being honest. Regarding the OP/ED, I will do anything for more fhana, and Maidragon's OP does not disappoint. No ED in episode 1. Overall, I was surprised at how much I liked a show with such an ostensibly strange premise, but I am wholeheartedly excited for the next episode. Kuzu no Honkai (MAL) I was immediately drawn in by the brutally emotional premise of Kuzu no Honkai, or Scum's Wish. Two students dating, only using the other as a physical replacement for an impossible emotional love. Wow. I was almost shocked when the episode ended, because I had been enthralled the entire time. Even through the intimate scenes, there was a heavy air, one punctuated by wells of emotion that kept me breathless. Something has to be said for the sound design too - the crescendos of music match Hana's emotional ups and downs to a T. Flawless. Likewise, the art throughout, especially with the black watercolors clouding white paper, the choices of camera angles during the intimate scene - it brings out the regretful and simultaneously indulgent feelings that the scene evokes. The fact that sexual encounters in anime are almost always moments for comedy rather than real emotion just makes Kuzu no Honkai's scenes more unique. Just the very idea of feelings so strong that two lonely people would come together to physically try to stave them off is both depressing and greatly intriguing at the same time. Even the general atmosphere of episode 1 enriched the painful introspective Hana was going through, culminating in the titular wish. With the courage to take a darker look at high-school romance, I want to see more. Watch this show. Demi-chan wa Kataritai (MAL) I didn't think I had a thing for something as specific as "blonde vampires," but there you go. Man, does this show make me feel good. A world where racism towards demi-humans has calmed down to the point where it's a normal part of life. No serious, overbearing issues, just a fun, light-hearted look at the concept of a demi-human living a modern life. I think I find the epitome of that in Takahashi, who doesn't really want much more than to just know more about demi-humans - he has a genuine desire to get to know the subtleties of their lives. Soft-spoken and laid back, he is the perfect foil for the quirky, bubbly Hikari, the aforementioned blonde vampire. Funny exchanges with a few heartwarming moments combine to form one hell of a great first episode. The ED fits the relatively calm tone perfectly, but I'm partial to the OP by TrySail after they caught my eye doing Classroom Crisis' OP. Give it a listen. While there are some noticeably harem-esque undertones, if this show stays relatively away from Monster Musume ecchi and carves its own niche, I will enjoy it to the fullest. Urara Meirochou (MAL) [To get this out of the way first, FUCK Anime Network - who the hell thinks yellow subs, and hardsubs at that, still look fine? At least with the CR/Funi deal I would think we would have some consistency for once, damn.] I saved this for last because it looked like the most healing show this season. That, and midriffs. I'm a sucker for the traditional Japanese style (Mushishi, Katanagatari, Uchouten Kazoku), and Meirochou's art and architecture do not disappoint. Thus far, this is a heartwarming tale of four girls working to find themselves through their style of fortune-telling. The four girls are quite cute, even if Nono's voice is pitched just a bit too high. Also, midriffs. I hope that stays. I also like Chiya's wild-person-new-to-society personality, and I think it meshes interestingly with three other girls that, while adjusted to society outside of Meirochou, are otherwise just as new. Overall, this is a show that takes an interesting setting and premise and aims to tell a story through four cute girls. What's not to love?

Ikemen Genjiden ‘Secret meeting’ story event- Tamamo summary
Tumblr media
Story starts with MC in her room treating a raccoon which she found in the garden. It’s foot was injured, so MC brought it to her room without thinking and treated it’s wound. After treating it’s foot, she started stroking it’s head, when she heard footsteps outside her door. The raccoon also looked up to see who it was. The door to her room opened, and Tamamo enters. MC asks if he needed anything and he sees the raccoon in her arms. He smiles and talks to the raccoon.
T: “what? did MC invite you....”
MC: “???”
T: “This is Yuno. The woman I’m in love with. I’m not hiding anything about the world of monsters. You can be comfortable around her.”
Tamamo sits beside MC and poked the nose of the raccoon playfully to which it trembled. The raccoon slowly started to talk. He looks at MC and thanks her for treating him. MC was still surprised. Tamamo strokes her head and tells her that the raccoon in her hand is a ayakashi serving the head of the forest. He’s also an old friend of his.
T: “did MC caress your head? I’m jealous.”
The raccoon, by looking at them says that they both are truly in love and that he is glad that Tamamo found someone wonderful. The raccoon bowed looking at MC as if to thank her for loving his friend and MC instantly bowed back. Tamamo asks what he was doing here and  the raccoon says that he is here to invite Tamamo to ‘the night of the stars’. MC asks out of curiosity what he meant and Tamamo explains to her that it’s a night where there are lots of shooting stars. It’s not very often and also not considered a good sign or bad sign. The chief of the raccoon ayakashi calls it ‘Kitcho’. They were preparing for a festival on that night so he is here to invite Tamamo. MC gets excited about the festival of monsters and Tamamo seeing her excitement asks the raccoon if humans are allowed. The raccoon says it’s difficult because there will be some monsters who are scared of humans.
After hearing that MC’s excitement levels went down. Since it can’t be helped, she tries not get too indulge in their conversation. Tamamo looks at her sad face-
T: “you okay?”
MC: “hmm.....I was just excited to see the place Tamamo had been to..”
MC decides to say her true feelings to him than simply lying. Tamamo sighed and looked at her-
T: “Let’s go to the festival together, MC. What do you think?”
MC: “B-But....”
T: (smiles) “it’s a rare festival. Its going to be fun.”
Tamamo laughed at what he said, to which the raccoon gave him a confused look. Tamamo says that we have to hide MC ‘s identity and bring her to the festival. If any problem occurs, then they will leave immediately. The raccoon gave a thought to what Tamamo said and then looks up at MC. He agrees to his idea, saying that he owes one to MC for treating him. The raccoon hands her a purple bag. The bag contained something that would help in removing her odor, so that could help her easily blend in with the monsters. MC happily takes the bag and thanks him. MC finally looks at Tamamo, who is giving her a seductive smile.

It was the time for the festival. MC was waiting outside the palace for Tamamo. He soon reaches their meeting place and asks if he kept her waiting. MC says its fine. Tamamo looks at her from top to bottom.
T: “It’s the first time I’m seeing you in that kimono. It suits you very well.”
MC: “Really?thanks.”
MC was happy going out with Tamamo after a long time. She was eager to see the festival and also spend quality time with him. Then, Tamamo takes something out of his sleeve...
T: “all that is left is this.”
MC: “ears and tails?”
T: “yeah, pretty impressive isn’t it?”
He makes her wear those fox ears and tail which he made by himself. (#couplegoals)
T: “you look just like me”
MC finds this ‘matching-matching’ thing a little embarrassing, but as long as Tamamo is happy, she didn’t mind. She felt ticklish when he touched her ears. MC still got anxious about going to this festival of monsters. She touched the incense bag inside her sleeve to check if its still there. Tamamo calms her down saying that as long as she has that bag, no one will find out that she is a human. Also he will be by her side all the time.
MC sighed relief and they both walked towards the shrine where the festival is held according to the raccoon. To her surprise, it was quiet and they could only hear the sound of wind blowing.
Tamamo held her hand and guided her way into the shrine and suddenly a white light appeared. When the white light disappeared, MC opened her eyes to see her surroundings were not quiet now. they were surrounded by monsters and the empty shrine was now a place where the festival is taking place.
Tamamo tells her that a barrier was there at the entrance of the shrine and that’s why she couldn’t see anything at first. That barrier was there to restrict the humans from entering the festival. Tamamo wraps her arm with his and-
T: “come on, let’s have fun.”
They walk around the festival streets where there lots of food stalls. Suddenly all the monsters there noticed the both of them. MC and Tamamo felt anxious thinking that the monsters must have already realized that MC is a human. But to their surprise, one of the monsters greet them happily. Soon many monsters starts to gather around them and greets Tamamo after so many years. Tamamo also starts talking with the other monsters and MC starts to find Tamamo cool and awesome because he is still trending in the monster world. Suddenly one of the monsters noticed MC watching Tamamo with admiration. The monster asked who she was and also the other monsters starts to look at her. MC found herself in a difficult situation of not knowing what to answer but Tamamo quickly puts his hand on her shoulder and pulls her closer. MC’s heart starts to beat violently felt Tamamo’s body heat on her.
T: “She is cute, right? She is  the daughter of a fox ayakashi. She is also my woman, please get along with her.”
After hearing that, all the monsters began surrounding around her. The monsters found it hard to believe that Tamamo actually a serious about his relationship with MC. Tamamo quickly takes MC and before they could leave, another monster warns Tamamo to be careful because the barrier that kept humans from entering the festival is broken. They both acted casual, thanking him for the warning and that they would be careful.
MC and Tamamo were enjoying there time eating and walking around. When MC said that she didn’t expect a beautiful festival like this for monsters, Tamamo says that its only because of the stars that is going to rain at night.
T: “Back then, I did not bother of going to festivals like this. The sound of worship and treating me special was all annoying.”
Seeing his lonely face, MC reached out and tugged his kimono. Tamamo gently took MC ‘s hand and holds it with his.
T: “But, this time its strange. Being next to you, makes everything looks so beautiful.”
He gently pulls her towards him.
T: “its a big deal if you get separated. So stay close to me, okay?”
....................
While walking around in the busy street they comes across one of those stalls that has shooting games. (not with guns, but bow and arrow). MC notices and points at the cute little fox figurine in the store. She states that it looks just like Tamamo in his little fox form. Tamamo chuckles and asks of she wants that and MC nodded. He goes and brings the bow and arrows so that MC could shoot. In her first attempt MC fails. When she impatiently fixed the second arrow on the bow, Tamamo comes closer and whispers into her ears-
T: “MC, just aim a little closer to the target.”
MC starts to blush when she felt his breath on her ears and she tries to mentally calm down. Tamamo positioned her arms correctly so she could shoot easily. MC takes a deep breath and releases the arrow from the bow.
MC wins the second round and she got her little fox figurine. They were sitting on the rock in the corner of the shrine, while MC is still admiring the figurine like a little kid.
MC: “This is so cute, Thank you Tamamo.”
T: “You don’t have to thank me. You shot it down.”
MC: “all thanks to your instructions.”
While holding the little figurine in her hand and telling how cute it looked, Tamamo gently strokes her head.
T: “You look like a little kid.”
Compare to Tamamo who has lived for 800 years, MC is younger. But however she finds it frustrating when he actually treats her like a little kid.
MC: “I’m not a kid. You know that right?”
T: “Heh, well if you are not a kid then...”
T: “Will you do something that only adults does?”
Tamamo pecks MC on the lips. She grabs Tamamo’s hands to stop him but he reassures her that no one is watching them and was about to kiss her the second time when they hear some monsters screaming. One of the monster came running towards Tamamo and told him that there is some chaos happening near the food cart and that he should help them solve it. MC starts to worry, thinking that it might be Kurama, but Tamamo tells her not to worry and wait for him till he comes back.
MC agrees and Tamamo goes to solve whatever problem is going on. While waiting for Tamamo, she hears one of the monsters shouting-
Monster: “it’s a human. Catch him.”
MC tries to hide, thinking that the monsters found out her real identity, but to her surprise the monsters went past by her. MC starts to think, if the ‘human’ those monsters were searching is not her then who, that’s when she heard something behind her.
Yasuchika: “whoa, that was dangerous!”
MC: “Yasuchika!”
Yasuchika tells her not to shout. MC asks what he was doing here and what he did to the barrier.
Yasuchika: “I came to Kamakura for a reason, and that’s when I saw this monster’s festival. I was so excited to see so I followed them. Since the barrier was a hindrance, I broke it.”
MC was not so surprised that he can do something like that, because he is freaking Ommyoji. He comes and sits near MC and asks what she is doing here. MC tells that she is hear with Tamamo as a fox spirit.
Yasuchika: “Do you like festivals that much?”
MC: “I do love festivals, but I wanted to see where Tamamo is from.”
Yasuchika: “Why?”
MC: “Because I love Tamamo for a while now, but I still don’t know much about him. That’s why I want to know as much as possible. ”
Listening to MC ‘s answer, Yasuchika looks at the festival lights and then looks at her. He tells her that he is jealous of Tamamo. They both see Tamamo standing with other monsters, talking and laughing with them. Seeing Tamamo enjoying himself Yasuchika starts to talk-
Y: “Seeing Tamamochi (his nickname) smiling like that.....no matter how familiar you are with people, sometimes it’s important to spend time with your friends.”
Hearing this MC starts to think that the world of monsters is a place where Tamamo comes from and he has lot of friends there. Most of the monsters are scared of humans. She starts to feel responsible for Tamamo not spending time with his friends. Yasuchika calls MC when she was in deep thought. Suddenly Tamamo comes and stands between them and asks Yasuchika what he was doing her.
Yasuchika just smiles and tells him that he is going back before anything worse happens and leaves. Tamamo sighs and looks at MC-
T: “I want to show you something. Can you came with me?”
Premium end:
He took her to the river near the shrine. When MC looked up to see some many floating lanterns in the river. While MC enjoyed the beautiful sight-
T: “This is the last highlight of the festival. It’s a lantern made by kneading a spell and it melts in water after a while. If you think that your wish will melt into water and reach the sea, would you have a dream?”
Tamamo gives her a lantern. It was shining brightly even though there was no actual fire inside it. MC thank s Tamamo for showing her such a beautiful site.
T: “There are a lot of beautiful things in the world. But if it can make you happy, the world of monsters is also wonderful.”
MC suddenly thinks about what Yasuchika told her about Tamamo. She asks him he misses his own world. But Tamamo smiles while still looking at the sky-
T: ‘I go where I want to go, when I want to.
MC asks if he is not taking this seriously, to which Tamamo tells her that for him, he admires both the human world and monster world as long as MC is by his side. MC gives him a surprised look and Tamamo smiles at her-
T: “I’ll take you where I want to go, as well as where you want to go.”
MC smiles and holds his hand and tells him that she will not leave him no matter what.
Then it was the time to launch the lanterns and Tamamo tells MC to make a wish. MC wish is to stay with Tamamo forever. MC founded her wish a little embarrassing so she didn’t say it him.  She asks what Tamamo wished for and he looks at her in the eyes and tells her that he will tell her his wish only if MC gives him a kiss. MC blushed hearing what he said, Tamamo teased her saying that it’s her choice if wants to hear or not. MC looks around to see if anyone’s watching them and slowly pulls Tamamo. She kisses on his cheeks. Tamamo found her gesture to be cute and tells her he would have loved it if he does it on his lips. They both launches their lantern into the river and MC hear Tamamo silently mumbling.
T: “I hope....the time I spend with you last forever. I pray for the lantern.”
Tamamo hadn’t wished anything so sincerely until now and MC hugged Tamamo saying that she will be with him forever, even if she dies she will reborn again to see him. Tamamo also hugged her tightly. But then he realised something and called MC ‘s name. MC looks up to him in confusion and he tells her that her tail has come off. MC looks behind to see that she didn’t have a tail and starts to panic. Suddenly a child ayakashi from somewhere shouts ‘that kitsune doesn’t have a tail.’
Tamamo smiles and puts his index finger on the child’s mouth to quiet him down and quickly takes MC’s hand. With Tamamo’s magic they both teleport to the shrine entrance and from there back to the human world.
MC: “that was dangerous.....”
T: “don’t worry, they will think that the child was mistaken....”
He pats her head to calm her down. MC apologizes for causing trouble. Tamamo holds her cheek and looks at her seductively.
T: “Well then, let me get paid with that body of your...”
Hearing him say that made MC blush but he just laughs at her, stating he was just teasing her and she has hang out with him a little longer, to which she agrees. They both are now in Tamamo’s room, starts to talk about how much fun they had at the festival. While their chit-chat, Tamamo told her that he heard everything what she told to Yasuchika. MC looks away in embarrassment. Tamamo holds her face and kisses her.
T: “By the way, what did you wish for with the lantern?”
MC: “it’s a secret.”
T: “oh.....!”
Tamamo’s eyes shined which made MC tremble. He comes closer.
T: “Are you sure? I know how to make you say it?”

Ikemen genjiden 'As You Wish' story event - Benkei VS Tamamo route summary
Tumblr media
Story starts with Yuno, Tamamo and Benkei, all sitting in a room and eating shaved ice. What happened was, in another town, some nobles complained that there were monster attacks in their town. Yuno was called to get rid of those monsters and she was accompanied by Tamamo. Benkei was also in the town for some other work and also helped them in getting rid of the monsters. At the end all were rewarded with shaved ice. Yuno thanked Benkei for his help but he just said it was because he wanted to. Since it is summer, they quickly finished their shaved ice in a blink of an eye.
Yuno: “This is delicious and also the sweetness goes well with the ice.”
Tamamo: “You seem to like shaved ice, Yuno.
Yuno: “Well, it is delicious and also it looks beautiful.”
Yuno admired the shaved ice, its looks and taste. She couldn’t think of anything else best for summer. Suddenly she felt a hand touching her cheeks.
Tamamo: “If you like it so much, I will make it for you in Kamakura. At the same time I will prepare beautiful snacks as well. If you match it with ice, it’s like a flower---”
Benkei: “Wait a minute. If she keeps eating the same thing, she will be bored. At least add some salt. Yuno, you think so too, right?”
Suddenly when their argument turned towards her, Yuno was loss at words.
T: “No, no Benkei. That’s not true. If I treat her with beautiful shaved ice, I will also treat her with beautiful sweets.”
B: “Why do you only care about appearance?”
Like that they kept arguing about it on and on. Tamamo tells him that the sweet snacks goes well with shaved ice and outer appearance is also important factor and Benkei states that eating the same thing, with same taste everyday will make a person tired. Yuno tried keeping her distance, but since she understood that it is never going to end she decides to interrupt. Benkei suddenly smiles while thinking of something. He decides to feed her something delicious. Tamamo also plans the same thing for her. Yuno had a “How the hell did I even end up in this mess?” kinda face. But then she starts to think that both Tamamo and Benkei are quite good at cooking. So choosing between them would be hard. Suddenly Tamamo gently hugged her from behind.
T: “Yuno. Eat my sweets and say that it’s your favourite.”
Yuno starts to blush while sinking in his sweet yet sexy voice.
B: “It’s hard to ignore.”
This time Benkei grabbed by her arm and she leaned against his chest.
B: “My food is better of course. Yuno, eat it and say it.”
T: “Yes, like that let make Yuno decide the outcome.”
B: “Fine then.....is it okay Yuno?”
T: “All right ,Yuno?”
Their faces was getting closer and Yuno felt like she forgot to breath. This was too much of a responsibility for her, because she loves both of their cooking.
T&B: “Yuno?”
Yuno finally nodded to be a part for their competition and both of them got excited to start their cooking contest. A noble who secretly heard their conversation decides to interrupt. He tells them that he is ready to allow them use their kitchen for their competition. Tamamo also asked if they could stay overnight and the noble also agreed to that.
Next day, the cooking battle started. Thinking that the preparation of making the food was over, Yuno eagerly peeked inside the kitchen. There she saw Benkei with a serious expression. She was hesitant to call out his name thinking that he was focusing, but suddenly their eyes met.
B: “What’s the matter, Yuno? I thought you’d eat in the living room” ( ° ∀ ° )ノ゙
Seeing his smiley face, she felt relieved and went inside. He tells her that he is almost done with his cooking and shows her. There was steamed rice in an earthenware pot and also there was rice balls wrapped in bamboo leave.
Y: “Wow! you made rice cakes with steamed rice.”
B: “Yeah, shaved ice is delicious but, it can cool your stomach and make you feel bad. You will still get a stomachache if you eat to much.”
Y: “You always think about what would happen after you eat something.”
They kept talking about food while Benkei was shaping the rice balls with his hands. Yuno noticed that his hands were quite big and the rice balls he was making where small. She starts to stare at them and  thinks what else of him would be big, when she heard a laughter above her.
B: “If you stare at it too much, it will make a hole.”  \(⌒▽⌒)
Y: “! Sorry!”
She quickly realized how dirty her mind was and turned away. She asks him if he wanted any help, but he tells her that she is the one to decide the result so she shouldn’t. She looks at the earthenware, where there was still so much rice left. She knew that he was making it for the other people in the mansion as well. Looking at the glossy and delicious smelling rice made her hungry. Benkei grabs her chin and looks at her.
B: “Do you care?”
Y: “Yes, I care.”
B: “I see,I can’t help but spoil you.”
He smiled and let go of her. He returned to his work and pretended as if nothing happened. He tells her to wait a little more. She walks out of the kitchen while calming her beating heart. Outside she met Tamamo.
T: “Yuno, you were here? I’ve been looking for you.” (⌒ω⌒)ノ
Y: “Oh Tamamo. Have you finished?”
He comes towards her smiling.
T: “Yeah, I moved it to the living room.”
Y: “That’s why you were looking for me?”
T: “I wanted to show it to you first.”
She was curious to see what kind of sweets Tamamo made for her. When she followed him to the door of the living room, he suddenly stopped.
Y: “Are you not going in?”
T: “Yes, I will be going in. But I want to surprise you, so from here, I’ll have you blindfolded.”
Y: “Eh? blindfold?”
T: “That would be double fun.” (⌒ω⌒)ノ
He takes out a cloth from his sleeve and goes behind her. He coved her eyes with that cloth.
T: “Now it will be fun. Stay tune.”
She slowly starts to walk while Tamamo holding her shoulder to guide her.
T: “Wait here, I will take it out.”
She hears some faint sound of god knows what.
Y: “Ready?”
T: “No, not yet.”
Hearing Tamamo’s cheerful voice, she couldn’t wait and grabbed the edge of his kimono. She suddenly felt a tickles sensation on her neck.
Y: “Tamamo?”
T: “Oh, I’m sorry. My hand slipped when I was about to take off the cloth.”
She could hear his laughter and feel him stroking her hair. Because of loss of vision, she could feel his touch was intense. Again she felt the ticklish sensation.
Y: “Will, you take this off.....”
T: “What a pity. Are you that impatient?”
Tamamo takes off her cloth that covered her eyes. When Yuno opened her eyes she saw a small table which had four small and gorgeous looking rice cakes. Each cake has different ingredients and different colours representing each seasons. Yuno starts to wonder if Tamamo was helped by someone to make this because, it takes a lot of time and energy to make this. But Tamamo ensured that he did it by himself and that’s why he asked the noble to give them an overnight stay.
Soon Benkei also comes in with his rice cakes. Now the contest begins. Yuno eats the shaved ice and then tried both of the rice cakes made by them to see which one goes better with the shaved ice. Now the results-
Benkei End (Sweet end)
In this end Yuno chooses Benkei’s rice cakes over Tamamo and Tamamo starts sulking(I’m SOOOOOOO SORRYYYY Tamamo, I love you so much but I had to choose Benkei’s route because I didn’t much energy and Benkei’s route gives me shoes and his epilogue also seems steamy |▽//))
Yuno praises about Tamamo’s rice cakes as well. But the flavour of ginger in Benkei’s rice cakes were more tasty. This made Tamamo curious to try Benkei’s rice cakes. (I will do this quickly because I deleted the screenshots, so the remaining part of the story is based on my memory)
Tamamo eats Benkei’s rice cakes and he loved it. He takes some of the rice cakes and goes out of the room to give it to the nobles. On the other hand, Benkei and Yuno where in the living room, alone so they decides to eat the rice cakes together. While eating they also talks about random things and suddenly Benkei gets an urge to kiss her. Yuno could see that he was staring at her lips for quite some time and when they were about to do it, someone opens the door. It was the noble and Tamamo. Benkei hides Yuno behind his large back so the Yuno could relax because her face was all red. They all thanked Benkei for the delicious rice cakes and started eating in the living room. Benkei and Yuno just stared at them.
After some days, Benkei and Yuno returns to Hiraizumi. They came back late than they expected. Yuno praised Benkei’s rice cakes and asks if he will make it again for her, if he doesn’t minds. Benkei just tells her that he had prepared that dish just for her and he will make it for her whenever she wants. He places her between his legs, wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her forehead. Yuno also turns to face him and puts her arm around his neck. Yuno somehow started to get heated up just by holding him like this. But she didn’t wanted to let go. For some reason, just by looking at her Benkei also started to get horny and wanted to have sex. So he tries to give her some hints’. Yuno didn’t get it at first so  she asks him again. He became embarrassed at this point and went ahead and said it anyway. Both of their face became red. Benkei starts to kiss her roughly and pushes her down on the bed. Yuno could feel his cheeks were hotter than usual when she held them while they were kissing. She thought he looked very cute when he said that. And like that the epilogue starts from here.

Ikemen Genjiden “Secret Meeting” story event - Benkei’s route summary
Tumblr media
Story starts in Hiraizumi, where MC and Benkei are in a tea shop. Benkei tells her to order whatever she likes and doesn’t have to be shy. MC asks if it’s okay. He smiles and tells her that her that it’s a reward for helping him out in the mansion. MC didn’t want him to make a big deal out of it, but he pats her head saying that he wants to, because her helping with doing the dishes and all reduced his workload. Seeing how happy he was, MC couldn’t help but place an order for both of them.
After sometime, the shopkeeper brings their dumplings and tea and they both starts to eat. MC was happy at this moment because she was eating and spending time together with her lover, that she couldn’t ask anymore. While tasting the delicious dumplings, she starts to remember a tea house in Kamakura which served tasty dumplings. She starts to talk about this to Benkei. He asks if they taste good and she nods. MC starts to remember her days in Kamakura that she spend while serving Bakufu and going to tea houses like this with her friends. MC notices that Benkei was staring at her and she asks what was going on.
B: “....how about next time?”
MC: “WHAT!?”
MC protested saying that it is dangerous because its an enemy territory now. Benkei tells her that he has been to Kamakura few times and he has lot of experience and also it will only be dangerous if Yoritomo and the others finds them there. Also he wanted to taste the dumplings she recommended. MC did wish that she could taste those dumplings with Benkei someday, but was anxious about the dangers that they would encounter. But seeing Benkei’s smiling face she could only nod.
After few days, they reached the entrance of Kamakura. MC starts to feel little scared this idea of ‘secret visit’, but Benkei calms her down saying that it’s alright and she must act like her usual self so that she doesn’t stand out too much. He tells her to enjoy her time in Kamakura. Something about Benkei’s reassurance made MC happy and she smiled.
B: “finally you smiled.”
MC: “Thanks to you.”
Benkei asks her to show him around Kamakura and MC agrees. Once they entered the busy market area, Benkei’s curious eyes caught the goods standing in the market and he was like--
B: “ah, this fish looks good. It will make Yoichi happy if I cook it for him. Also those vegetables looks fresh. It’s also my duty to protect Lord Yoshitsune’s health. Maybe I should buy some.”
MC couldn’t help but smile seeing Benkei’s serious look on his face while shopping. Even when he is apart from his friends he is still thinking about them.
Benkei: (blushes because he came to realize MC was near him) “hey, why are you laughing?”
MC: “oh, nothing.”
As long as Benkei was having fun MC didn’t mind at all. At first she was thinking what would happen if the enemy found them but seeing Benkei’s excitment, she decides to leave all her worries behind. Benkei apologizes for getting carried away but MC didn’t mind. While walking around the market, they come across a kimono shop. Benkei asks her if she wants to buy kimono but she didn’t want any. Benkei with his serious eyes, tells her not to hold back, but MC was not interested in buying it anyway.
B: “let me buy it for you, it’s thanks for always taking care of me.”
MC: “But you already thanked me at the tea shop.”
B:*blushes* “I just...want to buy something for you”
Seeing his red cheeks, MC understood he was saying it out of love so she decides to give in. After buying her a kimono, they next came across a drug shop and now MC is excited.
MC: “That’s a drug shop, can I go and see?”
She was literally dragging him to the drug shop like a little child dragging his mother to buy him a candy and seeing her excitment, Benkei smiles.
B: “you look more lively than you were shopping for kimono.”
MC took her time while shopping her medicine and she notices that Benkei was smiling at her. She asks why he is smiling but he says nothing. After they paying for the medicinal herbs, the shopkeeper, who I think recognizes MC tells her that they must leave Kamakura quickly because, due to some entry of bandits recently, Kamakura is currently under patrol by Yoritomo and the others. MC thinking that they might meet one of them, quickly takes Benkei to the back alley. There they see a figure walking towards them in the distance. When MC looked more carefully she realized that it was Shigehira. Before Shigehira could find them, MC takes Benkei’s hand and they hide in the nearby gap in the alley. Shigehira who was almost about to pass by them, suddenly stops and starts to mumble something.
S: “I think I saw a person who looks just like MC.”
MC starts to get scared and was about to make a sound, but suddenly Benkei covers her mouth from behind. After sometime Shigehira left thinking that he was just imagining things. Benkei releases his hand from her mouth and MC realizes that he was hugging her from behind. She turns in his arms to thank him, but then they were face to face, so close their lips were almost touching.
He let’s go of her immediately and looks at her. He tells her that they should leave quickly before anyone finds them and takes her hand. He looks at her and apologizes. MC asks why he was saying sorry but he ignores her question. MC felt like Benkei had a lonely face when he said sorry.
After that they both went to the outskirts of the city where the tea house was located (Which was their primary reason for coming to Kamakura). The shopkeeper was about close the shop when they arrived because of the bandits, but since they both came a long way, the shopkeeper took their order. They both sat down side by side and started talking.
B: “you look happy..”
MC: “Of course, because I can share what I find fun and delicious with the person I like. Therefore thank you for coming with me to Kamakura today.”
B: “MC....”
Benkei closes his eyes for a second and thinks of something and opens. He gently touches her cheeks.
B: “Listen to me. I might not have thought of it before, but.....Kamakura is beautiful city. ”
MC: “eh?”
B: “You can see that good trade is possible by looking at the liveliness of the town. I do not want to admit it, but this is Yoritomo’s ability.”
Benkei has a great hatred towards Yoritomo, yet he still notices and praises Yoritomo’s ability.
B: “when I looked at this town from your perspective, I thought I understood why you care about this place.”
MC: “Benkei.....”
B: “You originally wanted to open a pharmacy in this town right? Just now seeing you getting excited at the drug store, I thought again,I...”
Before Benkei could finish, the shopkeeper comes out with their dumplings and tea. They both stopped their talking and started eating. When Benkei tasted the dumpling, he smiled. MC could clearly make out that he loved it. Benkei asked the shopkeeper for it’s recipe, but the shopkeeper says that it’s a secret. Benkei says that he will try to recreate it when he gets home. MC wonders why he wants to recreate it. She knows he loves cooking and that he can use his own ingredients to make it more delicious, but why does he want to make it the same way as the shopkeeper.
After eating and paying for the food, they both were about to leave when they see some shady looking men entering the tea house. They both stopped and slowly peeked inside the tea house, only to see that bandits had entered the tea house and starts to steal everything.
The old man who was the shopkeeper, tries to fight them but it was no use. Suddenly some other men starts coming towards the tea house. They realized it was Shigehira and his vassals coming to arrest the bandits. Benkei quickly takes MC behind the tea house to hide. While hiding they see the bandits facing Shigehira  and his vassals. Those bandits starts making fun of Shigehira, saying that he looks like a girl and stuff. But Shighira didn’t care about what he thinks and pulls out his sword. One of the bandits comes out to attack Shigehira thinking that he is weak, but to their surprise Shigehira instantly killed that bandit in one go. The bandits starts to get frustrated seeing it and quickly pulled the shopkeeper out of the corner and pointed the sword at him. The bandits tells him to stay where he is or he will kill the shopkeeper (the usual blackmail!).
Premium end:
MC and Benkei who were watching all of this starts getting frustrated, because they couldn’t do anything. But Benkei couldn’t take it anymore so he decides to go and save the shopkeeper first. MC tells him that, while he takes care of the bandit that was holding the shopkeeper, she will quickly take the shopkeeper somewhere safe. Benkei protests saying that it’s too dangerous, but MC says that she will do it no matter what. Benkei finally gives in and tells her to act safely. He comes from behind and breaks the arm of the bandit that was holding the sword towards the shopkeeper. He quickly shouts at MC to take the shopkeeper to safety. MC runs and takes the shopkeeper’s hand and they both runs out of the tea house.
While the shopkeeper was thanking MC, she suddenly felt someone’s shadow next to her. When she looks up, another bandit pulls out his sword to cut off MC’s head. MC heard Benkei’s voice calling out for her and she closes her eyes.
......
When MC didn’t feel any pain, she slightly opens her eyes. She sees a big figure standing in front of her, who was protecting her-
B: “Whose woman do you think you’re messing with?”
MC: “Benkei...!”
B: “I’ll make you regret pointing that sword at her.”
Benkei quickly takes out a sword and attacks that bandit. MC notices that the sword Benkei was using was taken from the bandit he killed earlier. She understood that Benkei didn’t bring his sword, thinking that he might stand out too much when they walk around the Kamakura town. Benkei quickly defeats all the bandits and turns towards Shigehira.
Shigehira was baffled seeing both of them. He then understood the feeling he had before about MC being in Kamakura was true. Before Shigehira could say anything else, one of the bandits stood up behind Shigehira to kill him. Benkei saw this and orders Shigehira not to move. He quickly takes a big rock and throws at the bandit standing behind Shigehira. The bandit falls down and Shigehira’s vassals caught him.
S: “why did you help your enemy?”
B: “Is this the time for that!”
S: “No. Both of you leave quickly, before anyone else sees you.”
Benkei agrees and quickly takes MC’s hand and they run towards the entrance of Kamakura city where they parked their horse. They hear a voice calling out for them to wait. When they stopped and turned, they saw the shopkeeper running towards them. The shopkeeper gives them a piece of paper. When Benkei opens the paper, the recipe of the dumpling they had was written on it. The shopkeeper tells them that it is a thank you gift for saving him. Benkei smiles and puts the recipe inside his sleeve.
Few days went by, when they reached Hiraizumi. It was the nighttime, MC was in her room relaxing, when suddenly Benkei comes in with a plate of dumplings. He asks MC to taste it. MC finds this unusual for Benkei to make sweets at night. But then again she tastes the dumplings he made. She realizes that it had the same tastes as the ones they had in Kamakura. She asks if he followed the recipe given by the shopkeeper, but he answers that he wanted to recreate it without forgetting the taste.
B: “it was worth going to Kamakura.”
MC: “?”
B: “it’s been a while since you came to hiraizumi right? It’s about time you start to miss your place.”
MC: “Benkei?”
B: “So, like this I wish that even in Hiraizumi, you could remember Kamakura. Little by little, I want to fill Hiraizumi with what you like.”
MC realizes this is the reason why wanted to go to Kamakura so badly even though he is very cautious. Her thoughts were entirely filled with Benkei’s tenderness to the point she couldn’t speak. Benkei raises his hands and touches her cheeks. MC couldn’t control herself and showed her love by hugging him tightly. She thanked him for thinking about her. Benkei also gently wraps his arms around her back and hugged her.
B: “I should be the one thanking you.”
B: “Thank you for choosing to stay by my side even though you gave up your dream of being a Kamakura doctor. I know it’s difficult to hide from your old friend, Shigehira. So in return, I’ll always make you happy.”
MC couldn’t lie about not feeling lonely once she left Kamakura. She tells him even though Kamakura is her hometown, she also thinks Hiraizumi as a beautiful place too. Also she loves the people of Hiraizumi as well. As doctor she wants to do the same thing here, help people as a doctor.
MC: “you said earlier that you would fill Hiraizumi with what I wanted right? this is more than enough. Because there is someone here I like the most.”
B: “MC...”
Benkei held her chin and kisses her deeply on the mouth. He starts to whisper while they were kissing.
B: “I can’t find a woman like you anywhere. That’s why I want to make you happier than anyone else.”
Benkei still kept kissing her while stroking her back when MC trembled in his arms. He slowly starts kissing her neck saying that he couldn’t stop. MC at this point decides to give up resisting and buries her head in Benkei’s golden hair.
