#i think a lot of jn criticism is warranted but ppl were soooo harsh to goh when hes definitely the highlight of the show to me #a lot of the stuff that i like is associated with him like the park and his bond with his pokemon and his autistic coding #i also dont quiiite have the hatred for it that a lot of ppl do. trust me when heracross comes onscreen ill have a lot more nice things #to say. in fact this is early to say but one of the most controversial jn episodes is next for me and i actually quite like that one #like. is it clumsy? yeah. i think it shouldve been retooled to be a gengar episode and pikachu is a little tooooo babied here #(which ik is a wild thing to say abt the funney little mouse but like he does have a different character.) #like i disagree that its ooc for him to be jealous bc he has been jealous i just think it works better w the one with abandonment issues #but aside from all that i think its an episode that actually justifies mr mime's presence and its a really good delia episode #along with being a good ash episode at the end of the day. like its messy but its far from the worst thing of all time to me idk #echoed voice #i think like. my relationship w jn is that its a messy arc i dont think was handled or balanced well #but at the same time its got a lot of really good stuff that goes misunderstood or under the radar #plus like. again i can sorta understand why its like that #jn lb
