thinking about how, in a lot of fics i’ve read with BotW Link he has a fear of caves. Or, well, trauma around them due to, you know, being dead inside one for a century and locked away.

and then in TotK the world collapsed and suddenly there are caves everywhere. But, they aren’t just new caverns, many of them have ruins inside and I just. I know Link is ~supposed to be a blank slate character~ and all that rot. But like, if this game full of caves and darkness below is supposed to be a sequel to BotW — I dunno. It just feels lacking that we get nothing, no reaction to caves in general, none to what happened to the Shrine, none when you discover what is below the Shrine. I mean, the way they did Link’s reactions to memories in BotW was laughable anyway and obviously I am craving for far more than nintendo will ever give — but what is courage without fear?

Currently feel like I’ve been hit by a truck, hope you all are faring better than me lol

#Bro I was so. SO fucking sick last night #It was legitimately awful. Like there was a point where I thought ‘dying would be better than this’#I can’t remember the last time I’ve been this sick #Emetophobia tw ahead—#But yeah I was throwing up like all night #And it was freezing inside the house so I was having like. MAJOR chills #I probably also had a fever at the time too fjdnndn #My body is so sore and achy it really does feel like I’ve been hit by a car #Just the combo of being in pain + being nauseous + having severe chills #And you know that feeling right before you throw up where you get the shivers so bad. IT WAS THE WORST. THE WORST!!!!!#I actually had to lie on my back for most of the night bc that helped curb the nausea a little #But ooough. The torture ladies and gents.#I still feel like shit but not nearly as bad as last night #Nausea’s gone now (thank GOD)#Hey do not get sick 0/10 do not recommend ever.#Shima speaks #Help I’m so achy and tired and sore and I just wanna sleep. I am so fucking miserable

#i cant keep living like this #i want to sh so bad rn #dying would solve all my problems #the problem is my top and probably most lethal method could result in like lost limbs if i fail #the more and more desperate i get though the less i care because i just need it to work #i can't do that to my family tho. they would be sad.#im such a burden on them tho #my depression is getting so bad that i can barely even function #i often feel the need to like escape whatever situation im in #it feels like the only way to stop feeling so miserable is to die #i can't take this anymore #43 days self-harm free but i could really use the distraction and the pain right now #ugh maybe my therapist was right when she mentioned going back to the hospital #at least then i wouldn't be expected to do all these things and act normal #i feel like i need to get through this weekend and then if im still feeling this way and insurance hasnt approved the ketamine #then i should consider hospital #but i have to go to philly for my twin sister's graduation. i am so happy for her and all but it's just going to be really hard #with how I've been feeling lately in addition to how graduation just reminds me of all my failures #i was supposed to graduate last weekend. my sister and i were supposed to graduate at the same time #all my friends are graduating too #and im as depressed and hopeless as ever #i dont know what to do #im going to ruin everything if i go but my sister will be upset if im not there #i just dont think i can handle being in philadelphia all weekend

what i would do for a gideon POV of the events of NtN/pre NtN holy shit. like what happened to her!!!! what happened to her in between HtN and NtN will we ever get to KNOW will we ever get to SEE. what was she thinking what was she feeling like gideon just went through at least 1 if not 2 novels worth of shit totally offscreen in a 6 month span, in between the two books, and is doing totally her own thing in NtN, obviously Going Through It like the little moments we do get to see make me cry but NONA doesnt care about it which means the narrative doesnt care about it, which means we get very little information and im just. i am going to eat sand.

Read ~60 chapters of Chainsaw Man today, WHEWWWWW-

#dee p thoughts #overall review so far: pretty good. author's style is very distinct and potentially offputting/unhinged so I 1000% get someone not liking #this for that reason. theres a lot of food for thought to chew on among it so I enjoy it tho. but I do think the plot in terms of arcs and #how they tie into character development/progression can be very...fast and sudden? couldve used more time to make the progressions more #gradual and natural feeling imo which is where I think the anime expanding on scenes enhances this. ex: aki's care for power and denji is #very sweet but it also feels a bit sudden in terms of...well how to word this? like it ultimately MAKES SENSE but the turning point makes i #feel like his care stems from them almost dying reminding him of himeno as opposed to. caring about them afdadljbkndlkj- yes its establishe #that aki views denji kind of as a little brother but they couldve had the trio cook a little longer imo like at that point I dont really #feel aki has had much connection to power either tbh but...I get it I get why lol-#THO I WILL GIVE THAT THE SUDDENNESS FEELING MAY STEM FROM ME READING ~60 CHAPTERS YEAH. just like? denji's relationship with makima has mor #gradual progression than the trio's imo which makes sense but we should strengthen the trio bond for extra impacttt-#thinking deeper I do think aki has individual moments with denji and power has individual moments with denji so its probably the lack of ak #interacting with power that makes me feel the trio isnt fully baked lol. kind of just shown annoyance and then happiness at her not throwin #vegetables and now you dont want her to die I guess thats what makes me feel something is missinggg #which makes sense at the end of the day I guess? whats important is their relationship with denji not each other? but eh still I guess we'l #jot this down as a personal preference of mine
