15 Lines of Dialogue: Thora Cadash
Thank you for the tag, @ammoniteflesh! Despite my bgposting, Ophelia doesn't have enough dialogue yet for me to feel like I could use her for this scene. These will be from fic and roleplay (including WIPs)
Rules: Share 15 or fewer lines of dialogue from an OC, ideally lines that capture the character/personality/vibe of the OC. Bonus points for just using the dialogue without other details about the scene, but you're free to include those as well!

"Just in this age, dwarves have invented smokeless forges and– machines, just powered by hot air. My people can do more than just imagine a world beyond the physical… they make it real."
"I can’t stuff my face and not offer you any. My mother raised me better than that."
"You can seal up the edges with gold, it adds character, tells a story. Like… gilded history."
"All I know is I kept walking, miles after I wanted to stop. Maybe it was the Maker that kept me going… maybe it was just me."
"Once, someone made a choice, and that choice meant I was born up there, and not down here. I used to think maybe I hated them for it, since then I’ve made enough hard choices to at least give them the benefit of the doubt, but whatever their reasons: who they were is who I am."
"It’s family, Solas. Disappointment comes with the territory. Good or bad, though, I need answers."
"My mama taught me the meaning of the word ‘hospitality,’ Master Tethras."
"I suppose that depends on if you think being normal is something to be proud of."
"I know about a dozen Shayles. It’s one of those names that kinda runs in the family. It makes for confusing family reunions."
"I could teach him how to play cards, how to hide a dagger in your sleeve, y’know? Couldn’t answer those big questions."
"Y’know, no matter how hard you hug me, my ancestors aren’t gonna feel it."
"They have a whole table of hors d'oeuvres, but half the people here are wearing masks over their mouths. Who’s eating them?"
"If there’s anywhere he can earn forgiveness from the Maker it’s here. Maybe it’s cliché, but Skyhold has always felt like a place for second chances. I’ve felt that way ever since you brought us here."
"It's better to let Solas know something, it lets him think he knows everything. It was the best way to beat him in a game of cards."
"Yeah, but I never wanted to be Herald of Andraste when I was growing up. I would’ve settled for a Chantry Sister."
If you think she sounds neat she has a series of fics hosted here. :)
