Hoshidan and Nohrian fathers react to Corrin marrying their child.

Nohr

Xander is conflicted. He knows Siegbert is in good hands with Corrin, but also like. I mean that’s his sibling Siegbert’s marrying and seeing Corrin as an in-law rather than a sibling is a little difficult for him. 

Leo is surprised more than anything. He’s happy for his sibling and his son, but independently. Something about the arrangement leaves a sour taste in his mouth.

Jakob is PISSED that his son is marrying his precious master/mistress. It crosses all sorts of boundaries and while he dotes on Corrin thinking of them as a child-in-law is weird to him and he would prefer not to think about it.

Benny is a little off-put by the arrangement; he has a hard time seeing his son as grown, but respects their decision. He does wonder how Corrin got close to his son in the first place, though.

Niles is happy for Nina and knows she’s in good hands, so he’s not worried. He does think she’s a little young to get tied down, though…

Odin is in happy tears. He’s thrilled to see his daughter get married and to someone who will protect her. It doesn’t matter to him that it’s Corrin. 

Laslow is worried out of his mind, wondering if Soleil is ready for this and although he likes Corrin, he doesn’t think they’re worthy of marrying his daughter. He’s also not a fan of the fact his little girl is grown enough that she can get married. 

Silas is kind of uncomfortable with his best friend marrying his daughter. The whole thing seems wrong to him and while he’s happy for both of them, if he were being honest the marriage wouldn’t happen.

Arthur isn’t all too thrilled. His son’s pretty young and not to mention the commander of the army marrying Percy? His Lady Elise’s older sibling? Nope, it’s weird. 

Keaton is happy for both of them and he’s not too weirded out by Corrin marrying Velouria. Until the day of the wedding and the Protective Parents instincts kick in. He does get over it eventually, though. 

Hoshido

Ryoma is just outraged. He doesn’t think anyone is good enough for Corrin and he doesn’t think Shiro is mature or responsible enough to get married. He loves them both but doesn’t like the arrangement at all. 

Takumi is basically the embodiment of that comic where the dog is saying “this is fine” while surrounded by fire. Kiragi will always be his baby and Corrin his sibling, he’s never really going to get used to it or get over how strange he finds it.

Kaze trusts Corrin to care for Midori but he’s not keen on the idea of them marrying his daughter.  He eventually gives his blessing but it takes a very, very long time.

Saizo is just irritated. He doesn’t think Asugi is ready to marry and he has his own (negative) opinions about his commander marrying one of their soldiers. 

Hinata doesn’t mind that it’s Corrin. He’s happy for the both of them and cries like a baby at the wedding.

Azama is weirded out by the couple and wouldn’t hesitate to tell them. it’s not that Corrin’s their commander, it’s just that he doesn’t get why or how Mitama and Corrin work as a couple. He doesn’t think they’re compatible but he wouldn’t try to stop the wedding from happening or anything.  

Subaki is protective of Caeldori and initially protests the union because Corrin has a huge target on them metaphorically speaking, but eventually gives his blessing after seeing how much the two love each other. 

Hayato doesn’t like it and won’t ever like it. He’s still not over the fact his daughter’s older than him, but for them to be marrying their commander is too uncomfortable and he doesn’t like age age differences between all of them. 

Kaden is incredibly suspicious of why Corrin is marrying his daughter and automatically assumes the worst and turns a bit cold to them. He eventually warms up to the marriage, but it takes him a while and a lot of convincing from Selkie.
