today we are remembering that time my mom said she wished she had aborted me. That time that was unprompted, about a huge trauma I had with my teeth that she knew about: your teeth are too big. That time when my mom told me that 'theatre just wasn't for me' when I've been doing it for all my life. That my accomplishments meant nothing. That I'm nothing. That I deserved everything I got in middle school, when I was nearly bullied to death. That moment when she totally laughed off my suicidal outburst. That's what we're remembering. And it fucking sucks that of all things, of all the moments my memory could've faded, it wasn't those.

Decided to talk about my headcanons for Relations on the DSMP! With included family tree at the bottom :D Note, Mumza isn't canon here, Philza is a single father. Im personally uncomfortable with including irl people and backstories into the lore of the SMP and other stuff, even if we have permission. This means Drista and Tubbo's sister and any others arnt in my headcanons and lore. Philza has three sons, all adopted-Wilbur, Techno, and Tommy. He found Techno first and has been with him the longest, but Wilbur is older. (Wilbur still considers Techno the oldest.) He found Techno in the Nether (thrown out of the piglin horde for being a hybrid), Wilbur at a village (orphan crime boy tried to lift his money off him), and Tommy was dragged home by Wilbur (Phil still has no clue how they met) and Philza and Techno got attached when he lowkey refused to leave XD

Tommy met Tubbo at roughly age 13 or so when Tubbo was a street kid and brought him home. He's not considered Philza son nor Wilbur and Techno's brother (by his own choice mind you)(so basically he's not the SBI's family but he's Tommy's if that makes sense). He's lived with them a few times but Tubbo goes through periods where he straight up disappears for a few months and just wanders his own way.

Wilbur met 'Sally' when he was 18, and I mean newly baby adult Wilbur (he's been traveling for while but hasn't permanently left the world the sbi lives in yet like Techno has. Tommy is kinda doing the same but stays home more often). He found a injured and women floating in a river he stopped by and saved her, stitching her up and helping her. She said she didn't have a name he could understand so he nicknamed her Sally, for her Salmon red hair. Turns out Sally was a nature spirit and gave him a 'gift' for her thanks. That gift was Fundy becuase 'humans love babies!'. Wilbur is unaware that Sally used some of his blood to make Fundy, and thus is technically is Fundy’s bio-dad.

Fundy was raised by a couple who where friends of Philza and didn't mind the fact he was a hybrid fox who aged oddly. (I cant work out the specs but he ages fast for a few years, before gradually slowing down) They died when he was around 16 and he's been traveling ever since, electing not to go and find Wilbur until he ran into him on accident later. (he could of gone to Philza but he only met the man a few times and by then most of Philza's kids have left so he's ended up going to a new world) Niki is Eret's half sibling. Niki was raised by her mom and her stepdad. She always knew she might of had siblings but her family had no luck in trying track them or her birth dad down. She met Eret on the DSMP.

Eret is Niki's sibling. They are half siblings through their dad and didn't know they where related until they met on the DSMP. Both knew they potentially had a sibling/siblings out there. He is the oldest sibling as far as they know. Eret adopts Fundy after Wilbur died, wanting to make up for many things and genuinely wanting to see Fundy be happy. Eret adopts Ranboo, who is an orphan and their other half brother, and becomes his legal guardian.

Ranboo is Niki and Eret's half sibling as well, the youngest and only other sibling as far as they can tell. They managed to track him down using some connections and found him in an Orphanage and brought him to Dream smp. He doesn't know his exact birthdate, but he knows its between 16 and 17 probably. He doesn't actually know if he's older then Tommy but he decided just to say so and ran with it lol. He's an endermen Hybrid and is officially adopted by Eret.

Note- Their father was human as far as they know but Eret's eyes and some other small things didn't come from their mothers sides of the families so its assumed he had some sort of magic or something in his bloodline. Dream is an pretty much an orphan. He left home at a super young age, being a restless soul from birth, and hasn't tried to returned back once. His dad died before he left and he has a mom and maybe siblings but has no desire to ever seek them out. He considers his best friends his family and that's all that matters. He might be related to Tubbo, either through adopting a lil brother or though his parent(s) but who knows. (I only included him becuase I sometimes make him related to Tubbo lol) Bonus Tubbo Fam! (He basically adopted people rather then the other way around lol)

Captain Sparklez is Tubbos adoptive Dad. He was Tubbo's hero growing up and when Tubbo found out he was in MCC at the same time as Jorden, he sought him out before the event to talk to him. The Captain found he liked Tubbo a lot and they started running into each other outside of MCC as well. Soon Tubbo was visiting and following him around worlds for fun and Sparklez decided he was really attached to him. It wasn't until after the first Among Us Game was held (A kinda simulation meets mafia game where people have to pretend to be a murderer and the others need to figure it out) and they played together, did he really realize Tubbo was kinda like a son to him. An accident later (Tubbo nearly died, Jorden had a heart attack, it was fun) that Jorden asked to adopt Tubbo.

Note, Tubbo is like Dream in the sense he has a restlessness to him. He's always out and exploring and going to new places and worlds, but in a different way. He always feels like he's waiting and searching for something and he follows his heart and instincts when the mood strikes. Its how he found Tommy, its how he found the SMP, its how he found dad and kinda brother.

5up (or 5cup) is Tubbo's kinda adopted brother. Tubbo had been invited to a more high end Among Us actual Tournament after getting quite good at it, and met 5up who was like... why is there a Teenager? Oh he's quite good, omg why is he alone stop being assholes to him please, hey he's funny. 5up invited him to come play with them sometimes and they hit it off. (The nickname is becuase Tubbo is dyslexic and at their first game read 5's nametag wrong and it made 5up laugh so hard he let Tubbo keep doing it.) Tubbo started jokingly calling him brother and 5up started doing it back. 5up's kinda inwardly horrified at how nonchalant Tubbo is about his life and the war and his friends. He about had a heart attack when Tubbo told him was president now and might be facing another war. Jorden is no help becuase his definition of bad is also skewed, he's been though...a lot. But he doesn't like all the pain and drama he's been going though, Tubbo's his son and he knows the teen can handle himself but... he doesn't know what to do sometimes, ya know?

Captain Sparklez and 5up only know of each other for now, but Family of Family is still family. Please don't attack or come at me becuase you don't agree with my headcanons, this was just for fun XD

give me a plot where muse a is dying to have a baby/get pregnant to the point where she is stressing out because she thinks her biological clock is really ticking even though she’s in her 20s. so her friend has been setting her up on blind dates to try and help her find a guy but on the first date the first thing she asks is if they want kids and it scares them away. so muse a’s friend sets her up on a blind date with their brother which is super awkward to think about. and when muse a asks about kids muse b seems neutral about it and doesn’t run away and muse a is taken aback by it. and he sorta just… agrees to help her have a baby. so they wind up sleeping together a bunch of times in hopes of getting pregnant and muse b told muse a they are only in it for the kid they don’t want to complicate things. but then muse a starts getting a baby bump and they start buying little baby shoes together and they go to ultrasound appointments and the more muse b falls in love with his baby he falls in love with its mommy too and ): (I’d love to play muse a here)

They won’t admit it but they’ll love each other forever no matter what, even if they’re not always together.

how about instead of a broke roommates make a sex tape for cash plot we make an alternative where they’re broke and in desperate need of money on more than just one occasion so they decide to fuck on a live sex website where viewers can request things they wanna see the muses do and maybe muse a is a little more shy and after one request they’re like wait they want us to do WHAT and muse b is like c’mon babe it’ll feel awesome i’ll show you just relax and it kind of becomes a hit and they start doing it a few times a week and then add in some angst if one of them starts seeing someone but continues sleeping with the other muse and it gets super messy and super sexy and they can explore all of these new kinks / positions / everything together (you must be 18+ for this plot)

lowkey want a plot where muse a is this big and tough guy with a lot of tattoos and some piercings and people are scared of him because of his looks ( thinking that he’s probably rude and should stay away ) when all he really wants is someone to help out him and his 3 year old daughter ( since he’s a single parent and the daughter’s birth mother left when his daughter was only a few months old ) because they’ve been living in his car pretty much since the day she was born and have been going across the country but end up stopping in muse b’s town and end up meeting them at her local flower shop. now, muse b has always been known to be a very sweet and empathetic person so she takes it upon herself to give him her number and say that she’s always willing to help. muse a doesn’t really think much of it or her until his car breaks down and he calls her for help. one thing leads to another and all of a suddenmuse b is offering to have muse a and his daughter stay at her apartment with her until they get back on their feet. after a while, things between muse a and muse b start to go from strictly platonic to almost romantic and would you look at that ??they start dating.

dude forget teacher/student relationships what about a teacher/teacher relationship where muse a is a math teacher and muse b is the cute new art teacher and they sort of strike up a conversation the day before the first day of school like “haha, good like controlling these hormonal teenagers” and they become like awkward friends who always run in to each other in the teacher’s lounge or always go to each other’s rooms for extra copy paper even though they’re fucking across the school from each other and all the students ship it and lmao help

I was hit from behind on Wednesday evening heading to work. The driver was ticketed by the police and their insurance company has admitted full liability. Injury wise, I have whiplash which thankfully, is going away now. My car, according to their adjuster, is going to be claimed as totaled. So, my car is valued at 7400, and repairs just from visual inspection, are 7015. So they are going the totaled route as its cheaper for them. After they buy the car from me, they will sell it to salvage, expect to get 2k from it, and only be out 5400 instead of a full cost of repairs. So I've had the car for a year and half, taken out on a 5yr car loan. I still owe 12k on it. After they cut a check to the lean holder, I'm still responsible for 5k on that loan. The bank and my insurance at the time didn't offer gap insurance. Stupid of me, I let my current policy expire to search around for a more affordable policy. I kept procrastinating, and the accident happened with me having no insurance. Lucky he hit me and is at fault. I'm trying to see what my options are. I've gone to the liable company's website and see their basic plan for my state, law requires 25k in property liability for at fault accidents, plus medical etc. So I'm wondering what should I expect from the lady handling this claim. I'm not fooled when she called me yesterday and said that she is here to work with and for me. Saying that there is probably a lot of talk about lawyers, just know they will take 30-40% of you settlement. Know that I'm here to work for you, try to work with me I'm thinking my head total bull crap. 1, she works for her insurance company first, and will have their interest first, 2, she works for their client and to protect them from me in a suit. In the end, I'm not stuck with a car that they will not fully pay to have repaired, and will still owe 5k after they pay the loan holder the value of the car. Under President Trump, well enter an age of global confrontation | Timothy Garton Ash

A narcissistic bully will face nationalist leaders just as dangerous. Prepare for a direct clash with China

Donald Trumps arrival in the White House reflects a wider phenomenon: a new era of nationalism. He joins Vladimir Putin of Russia, Narendra Modi of India, Xi Jinping of China, Recep Tayyip Erdoan of Turkey and a score of other nationalist leaders around the globe.

While it might be unfair to describe Theresa May as a nationalist, her announcement that shes going for ahard Brexit reflects the pressure of English nationalism on the British right, and will encourage the nationalism of others. Of course, eras of nationalism are nothing new. But precisely because we have experienced them before, we know that they often start with high hopes and end in tears.

For now, the nationalists are giving one another the Trumpian thumbs-up across the seas. Paul Nuttall, the Ukip leader, says he is massively excited by the advent of President Trump, who in turn tells Michael Gove in the Times that he thinks Brexit is going to end up being a great thing. In a photograph that should become notorious, the Brexiteer Gove gives Trump a sycophantic thumbs-up, with a curiously goofy expression on his face, making him look like a teenage Star Trek fan who has caught 10 seconds with Patrick Stewart. The vice-president of Frances Front National responded to Mays Brexit speech by declaring: French independence soon. And so it goes on.

This world of mutually reinforcing nationalisms is also one in which both the relative power and the internal coherence of the west are being eroded from both sides of the Atlantic. The deterrent effect of the United States Nato security guarantee to Europe is being undermined from Washington itself.

Meanwhile, we have had the amazing spectacle of the leaders of Russia, Turkey and Iran getting together to make a cynical deal over Syria. Erdoan-supporting Turkish commentators revelled in the fact that neither the US nor Europe was even at the table.

Looking at the photograph of the three leaders shaking hands, I was reminded of DavidLows famous cartoon of Hitler and Stalin greeting each other in September 1939, raising their caps and making courteous bows to each other over the body of a dead soldier, with Hitler saying, The scum of the Earth, I believe? and Stalin, The bloody assassin of the workers, Ipresume?

To be sure, whenever you so much as mention Hitler theres an instant risk of hyperbole. The warp and woof of interdependence and liberal international order is significantly thicker now than it was, going into the 1930s. Thats why the Leninist nationalist Xi Jinping spoke at Davos as a defender of an open, globalised international economy. He knows that his own countrys economic performance, and therefore the stability of his regime, depends on it.

The way in which the representatives of these countries talk about international relations is in many ways more reminiscent of the 19th-century world of sovereign great powers pursuing their own national interests. Im writing this column in India, and came across some recent remarks made by Indias foreign secretary, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, that illustrate this perfectly. Faced with the prospect of Trumps America cosying up to Putins Russia, he observed: With Russia, Indias relationship has actually grown very substantially in the last two years, as has the bonding between our leaders. An improvement in US-Russia ties is, therefore, not against Indian interests. That is the sober, realpolitik kind of nationalism.

But by their very nature, nationalisms are likely to clash sooner or later. Thus Mays insistence that Britain will leave Europes single market puts her on a collision course with Scottish nationalists, who have a referendum mandate for saying that Scotland wants to remain in the EU and certainly in the single market. Moreover, 21st-century nationalisms exist in a high-pressure ecosystem of 24/7 media coverage and public scrutiny that would have appalled Bismarck, Disraeli and the tsar of Russia. Even authoritarian rulers such as Putin and Xi are riding the tiger.

By far the most serious of these potential clashes is that between China and the US. In his confirmation hearing, Trumps new secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, compared Chinas programme of island-building in the South China Sea to Russias annexation of Crimea, and said the new administration would tell Beijing: Your access to those islands is not going to be allowed.

Meanwhile, in India the commander of the US Pacific command, Admiral Harry Harris, warns: India should be concerned about the increasing Chinese influence in the region. If you believe that there is only finite influence, then whatever influence China has means that influence India does not have. A zero-sum game, then.

Now this is partly just the familiar dance of great powers competing for influence with each other and with third parties. But the risk of an accidental naval or air confrontation somewhere in the South or East China seas is far from negligible. And then the question would become: do Trump and Xi have the wisdom, statecraft, sound advice and, not least, domestic political elbow room to step back from the brink?

This is where Trumps irascible, bullying, narcissistic character could be such a liability. On the other side, the personally much steadier Xi has staked so much of his legitimacy as core leader of Chinas party-state on his China dream (ie making China great again) that he would be under pressure not to back down. Whether the cause is psychological, political or both, so-called strong men often feel they cant afford to show weakness.

No, Im not predicting the third world war. But a 21st-century variant of the Cuban missile crisis? Entirely possible. So lets have no illusions. Up on the magic mountain in Davos, Trumps smooth-talking mouthpiece Anthony Scaramucci tries to persuade us that everything is going to be fine. He says the path to globalism for the world is through the American worker (unpick that if you can), and that Trumps disruptive change is going to be a positive thing in [our] lives.

Dont be fooled; dont be Scaramuccied. We are in for a dangerous, rough ride over the next few years, and wed better be ready for it.
