Hear me out on this one, Eddie Munson is about to have his moment. Look at the way everyone is looking at him, intently listening to what he has to say, I don't know what's going on here, but I do know that this is most likely going to be a confidence-boosting moment for Eddie where he gets to shine.

hey, i’ve read some of your writing and i really like it. do you have any tips?
aw dude that's really sweet. i'm really self conscious about everything i write so i appreciate hearing that. i'm still learning myself, so my advice is probably gonna be kind of obvious yet nebulous (much like my writing). oh and im not great at following my own advice, but we can ignore that.
first and foremost i'd say try to have fun. get weird with it. don't stress too much about it. it's supposed to be an enjoyable pastime, so write what YOU like, how you like. the "rules" of grammar and composition are helpful, but you're allowed to be a lot more lax with creative writing. i know i am 👀
in my humble opinion, you can never have too many details, even- or especially- oddly specific ones. personal experiences are a great way to inject some minutiae, and i enjoy the insight they provide into the author's perspective, background, thought process, etc.. there are infinite other tools at your disposal too. like the number of times i've found myself browsing ancient, niche forums just to confirm one insignificant bit of information is ridiculous.
don't be afraid to take your story as seriously or unseriously as you want. sometimes i'll be snapped out of focus with the thought of "am i really writing this rn" 😂 but i just try to remind myself that i'm (usually) having fun, i'm not hurting anyone and someone might even enjoy the final product.
for eene, try to listen to the voice acting as much as you watch the animation. and don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone when writing a character. i'm neither comfortable, nor very good at writing for ed, but i nutted up and gave it a shot recently and yeah it's nuclear level cringe but i suppose it can't get any worse, right? RIGHT???.... i love learning new words, so when i'm writing for edd (and in general) you know i keep that thesaurus tab open. with eddy, there's always room for more irreverence. i'm also one of those people that cannot help but drop almost every g when i write eddy. and it's just as important to get their idiolects down, which can be tricky. BUT that's mostly if your goal is to stay close to the source material, which is definitely not necessary. i'm just not a very creative person 😂
if you're in a rut, skip to another section, or hell even another chapter. the fic i'm working on rn was hatched from a simple premise several months ago, so i started at the end and have been building on that. an unconventional starting point can be really helpful when you're struggling to start at all. because i'm me, it's turned into a nightmare beast that i can't seem to contain, but i still have a general idea of where we're going and we'll get there eventually lmfao. to that point, outlines, bullet points, notes, etc. are all very useful.
take breaks, let her sit for a while. i'll write a whole bunch, leave, come back to review and be like girl what the hell is this. fresh eyes make a big difference! however, don't be like me and get too caught up in the weeds. i make compulsive little tweaks of my shit up to the point and even after i hit post. more often than not, it's more stress than it's worth. i just can't help it 🥴
and then of course, read other people's stuff. i'm not much of a fiction reader but i make exceptions for the sake of my hyper-fixation. it truly does help to see different perspectives and styles of writing. everyone has a unique voice that really comes through in creative writing, which i love. i've gleaned a lot from reading other people's work as well. i frequently come across new and creative ideas for changing up sentence structure, dialogue tags and narration by reading stuff from fellow fans.
aaaaaand yeah idk what else really. like i said, i'm not the best at writing but i think as long as you're getting your ideas across in the way that you want to, you're golden. anyone who makes shitty remarks about someone else's writing can sit and spin honestly.

NOTE: Feel free to make any original content based on this album description if you want to! (lyrics, songs, art, edits, memes, etc.) I love them a lot and they warm my heart. My only request is that you give credit and tag me in the post so I can see what you made! ❤️
Traumatized is an EP that shows off the band's calmer side. There is a almost lofi feel to the album not previously done by the band. Shark Puppy is known for changing up their style frequently, so this isn't surprising, but it was still received with critical acclaim. It seems that this band can truly do it all and do it well. The EP has songs written by each member about their childhoods, bullying, and coming to terms with who they are. Each band member has said this is a very personal EP and it took a lot of discussion to be able to put it out there.
Track List
1. The New Kid written by Ben Hanscom. Hanscom, in a departure from his usual romance songs, sings about his struggle with his weight when he was in middle school and high school. This track is soft and has very sweet whistling, which Hanscom recorded himself. He talks about the bullying, the failed diets, and the days alone in the library. But Hanscom picks himself up, makes friends, and loses weight not for the bullies or his friends but for himself. "This one is for all the kids who only got called hot when they lost weight. I was handsome before, but only the important people noticed back then." Vocals on record by Ben Hanscom.
2. Dirty written by Beverly Marsh. The sound is more upbeat, but agressive. This song is about all the terrible names Beverly used to be called as a child. Bullies would spread rumors about her sleeping around and even once threw trash on her. Beverly sings about how she used to be scared of breaking societal norms or breaking rules, but now she has found freedom and joy in it. Marsh is quoted saying, "Fuck anyone who doesn't like this song. It's funky as hell." Vocals on record by Beverly Marsh.
3. Let Down written by William "Big Bill" Denbrough. This song is a more somber tune where Denbrough lets out his fear that he's failed those he loves. Denbrough has previously written and spoken about the tragic death of his younger brother Georgie, but this song also mentions him feeling like he isn't enough for his parents or his friends. That if he can't lead them properly and be perfect, he'll let them down. Denbrough has now moved past that thinking and now lets down his guard so he can be himself around his friends and his fans. Vocals on record by William "Big Bill" Denbrough.
4. Breathe written by Eddie Kaspbrak. Kaspbrak sings frantically over calm music about his worries. He then remembers to just breathe without going back to unhealthy coping mechanisms. Kaspbrak has been very vocal about his experience with anxiety and wrote this song "to show people that recovery from trauma is never linear, that you'll have bad days. But you push through them to get to the good days. And you never punish yourself for it. Because we're all human." Vocals on record by Eddie Kaspbrak.
5. Alone written by Mike Hanlon. After the release of the EP, Hanlon spoke out about a time during college when all of his friends had moved away, leaving him alone in his hometown. "It was the loneliest couple years of my life. But I think I learned more about myself in that time. And when everyone reunited, we were closer than ever. Now I know that even when I'm by myself, I don't have to be alone." the tune can be described as like honey and lofi, but a bit country somehow. Vocals on record by Mike Hanlon.
6. Don't Say It written by Richie Tozier. Tozier has frequently discussed his struggles with finding out about his ADHD and depression. The music is erratic, but suddenly halts and slows at certain points. He left home at eighteen for college. He talks about meeting new people at college and in the entertainment industry who didn't accept him for who he was, who told him to not talk so much. Tozier has been very open about his past addiction problems and sings in this song about using it to become someone more palatable, more marketable. After reuniting with his childhood friends some years later and forming Shark Puppy, he "eased back into being himself, went to therapy, and started running my mouth again. Now they can't get me to shut the fuck up." Vocals on record by Richie Tozier.
7. Disappointment written by Stanley Uris. A more acoustic sound than the other tracks, with birds singing in the background. Uris sings about growing up as the son of a Rabbi and never being enough for his father. Always being the disappointment of the family. He came out as pansexual at seventeen and was promptly kicked out of his home, told to never come back. "My father didn't like that I didn't fit his idea of what a son should be. I had to learn the hard way that he wasn't my idea of what a father should be. Now he's my disappointment." Vocals on record by Stanley Uris.

Get to Know Me Better (Casually)
Tagged by: @nohr-and-thirst Thank you so much my dear! I’ll absolutely love filling this out!!! 🤩🥳
Name: Christina
Birthday: August 9th (Which was yesterday, so yay! 🥳🎊🎉)
Zodiac Sign: Leo ♌️💚🦁👑
Height: 5’2 inches (157 cm)
——————
Hobbies: Drawing, writing, working out, meditation, yoga, belly dancing, socializing with close friends, getting to know people, listening to music, playing guitar, watching anime (especially Bungou Stray Dogs), cooking, baking, playing strategy games (chess, checkers, mystery murder games etc.), crystal therapy, multicultural appreciation (mainly Asian cultures), critical thinking/philosophy, and speaking languages (English, Spanish, and a little bit of Japanese)
Favorite Color: Pink mainly, but I really love blue and green too!
Favorite Book: My favorite novel is a deconstruction of the generic fantasy world called “The Last Unicorn” by Peter S. Beagle. The reason why I love this book so much is that there is a bittersweet sort of sadness at the end unlike a lot of stereotypical fairy tale books that ALWAYS seem to have a happy ending. I love this book because it’s something different, and I love how they use the unicorn as a symbol of a loss of humanity rather than purity. Plus ALL of the characters tend to be fleshed out pretty well with their personalities. Especially the female characters, and they have as much drive and ambition compared to the male characters. The characters overall are empowering, inspiring, timeless, and overall pretty dang magical! I would recommend anyone to definitely read this and it’s a 10/10!!!
Last Song I Listened To: Take Me Home Tonight/Be My Baby by Eddie Money ft. Ronnie Spector (Goddamn I love 80s music!!!)
Last Movie I Watched: Singing in The Rain (1952) ft. Gene Kelly. It’s a pretty cute and funny musical rom com movie for its own time. Plus the dancing and music numbers are pretty damn good. I love their use of colors, imagery, and overdramatized use of Broadway tropes common to the 1920s. If you’re a fan of musicals I highly recommend you watch this.
Inspiration or Muse: Mainly Anime and most of Japanese culture has inspired me to draw and write frequently. Another source of inspiration is on a fan fiction website called Literotica, but don’t be fooled by the name. A wonderful author by the name of DreamCloud made so many inspirational and touching love stories that made me cry so many times over how beautiful each ending was. If you’re a follower AND you’re over 18, I once again recommend you read his stories. They’re what inspire me to personally grow and develop better writing skills ESPECIALLY when it comes to writing my self insert and romance drabbles here and there. Another source of writing inspiration is J.K. Rowling and her Harry Potter series, and she inspires me everyday to keep writing no matter what people think of you or your writing.
Dream Job: I’d honestly love just being a freelance artist and a famous musician on the side. Either that or a traveler and cultural cuisine enthusiast exploring all over the world. Something like what Jack Maxwell or Anthony Bourdain does.
Meaning of URL: The name of my URL came to be when every time I turn on the radio station the band Pink Floyd played its songs near me. My Dad always joked that since Pink Floyd “likes me a whole lot” the band is connecting to me somehow and that it’s telling me something. I still don’t know what to this day, but I officially dubbed myself “The Pink Prophet” because I’m very in tune with both philosophy and the pursuit of human kindness. And that’s basically what the band is preaching the whole time.
I’d like to tag: @rjatizay @queenshroorn @poetofeveryonessoul @mmcclendon2516 and @rimuru--tempest to do this if they want! 😚

Andy Ruiz Jr: ‘Chubby kid’ who stunned boxing with victory over Anthony Joshua
Andy Ruiz celebrates after stopping Anthony Joshua during the seventh round of Saturday's heavyweight title bout in New York
Mexican-American heavyweight Andy Ruiz Jr. claimed to be confident heading into Saturday's fight against undefeated Anthony Joshua, but even he couldn't hide his utter astonishment after dropping the unified champion four times and earning a technical knockout win as a 25-1 underdog.
"I'm still pinching myself to see if this is real," Ruiz confessed after Saturday's historic upset at New York's Madison Square Garden. "This is amazing. What do you know? I just shocked the world, and I'm the first Mexican heavyweight champion. "
That Ruiz is the first heavyweight champion or Mexican descent is somewhat surprising, given the country's passion for sport and its dominance at lower weight classes.
What's more surprising is the father of four's Rocky-like ascent over the last month.
A 25-1 underdog, the self-described Snickers fanatic had just about a month to prepare for his title shot after Joshua's first opponent, Brooklyn's Jarrell 'Big Baby Miller, tested positive for steroids.
So when the rotund Ruiz tipped the scales at 268 pounds on Friday's weigh-in, the expectation was that Joshua would have an easy night on Saturday and eventually position himself for a big payday against WBC champion Deontay Wilder or self-described linear champion Tyson Fury.
The 29-y-old self-described Snickers addict was actually being laughed at. Ruiz was once referred to by promoter Bob Arum as a 'fat slob' and the scores of British fans at MSG on Saturday harassed Ruiz with cries or 'fat bastard.'
Now it's Ruiz that had the last laugh.
"Look at this chubby kid now," he said, just days before squaring up to Joshua, who weighs 20 pounds less than Ruiz despite being four inches taller.

A young Richie Ruiz pictured spending some time with his father Andy Ruiz Jr., who probably took the photo that was later posted on Instagram
Appearing on 'Inside the PBC' armed with one of his trusty Snickers bars Ruiz also announced his intention to gorge on the prior prior to the bout.
"I have my Snickers right here with me," he said – brandishing a chocolate bar.
'To tell you the truth since I was six years old my dad would always give me this Snickers before every fight and it gives me energy.
' It gives me everything that I need to do the win. For sure I will be eating this when I fight Anthony Joshua. '
Ruiz joked after beating Joshua that he was aiming to get a sponsorship deal with Snickers.
Despite his often jovial nature, the father of four knew there was more than pride at stake on Saturday.
Born in the California border town of Imperial to Mexican immigrants, Ruiz would travel across the border to train in Mexicali where his grandfather ran a gym.
Aged just six years old, his father Andres Ruiz Sr. banned him from playing baseball and insisted he take up boxing instead.
As a youngster, Ruiz was frequently exposed to culture and violence and equally got kicked out of school for fighting.
Ruiz pictured with members of his family. He posted this photo to Instagram alongside the caption "Who would have guessed this fat kid would do something with his life?"
Andy Ruiz Jnr revealed he was motivated by jibes about his weight after he pulled off a sensational upset against Anthony Joshua in New York on Saturday night
Manny Pacquiao described Ruiz's win as" one of the biggest upsets in boxing history '
The credits boxing for helping him escape a life of crime which has snared many of his childhood friends.
"Boxing saved my life," he said, "There were a lot of gangs and I was hanging around with the wrong people." Some are in jail now. I see others on street corners. "
Despite his humble beginnings, Ruiz says he is a 'proud Mexican' and he has previously been railed against Donald Trump for his impact on Hispanic communities.
Mexicali, where Ruiz's family hails from, is at the center of the President's border dispute and could be cut off from the US if the wall is completed.
"It irritates me when Trump says what he does," Ruiz added.
" Other Mexicans are trying to come here so they can make a living and Trump is trying to stop that.
'If I win, it sends out a powerful message about the strength of Mexican people. Winning won't just change my family's life; it will change the lives of many Mexican families. '
Ruiz took up boxing aged just six years old after his father banned him from playing baseball
Ruiz and his team celebrate his coronation as IBF, IBO and WBO world heavyweight champion
After previously being tagged a 'fat slob' by Promoter Bob Arum, Ruiz embarked on a dieting program which saw him lose nearly 40 pounds by ditching takeout food.
"I want to show that it doesn't matter what people say about you or how you don't fit," he said before the fight.
The new champion, and the first of Mexican descent, had been dismissed again as recently as Friday's weigh-in, where his fleshy appearance and the fact he outweighed Joshua by over 20 pounds encouraged the perception that he had little chance of success.
He only installed his challenger with little over a month's notice after a suspension for Joshua's previous opponent Jarrell Miller ruled him out, and he also lost his only previous world title fight, in 2016 to Joseph Parker, who had since gone on to lose his undefeated record to Joshua.
Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn, who Ruiz Jr. had repeatedly contacted in an attempt to force Saturday's fight at New York's Madison Square Garden, is planning an immediate rematch in the UK this winter.

ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!
Hello again everyone!! Welcome to the story of show 63 of the #100showyear taking me on an international journey of sorts to the Valleys of Wales and to be precise - Cardiff for my first taste of ATTACK Pro Wrestling who have built a good reputation amongst twitter glitterati for being an all in all fun night of wrestling and I for one wasnt dissappointed at the end of the night with it. So where do I start? Well with a 650am journey to Manchester for a meet up with @clinay (Chris) @rawcass (Sean) and the self proclaimed @theboozerweight (Chris Duffy) all of whom are decent lads and are worth a follow on Twitter. Meeting place which possibly must have been voted somewhere as one of the top 5 worst Wetherspoons - The Piccadilly Gardens Spoons which is usually infiltrated with Spice addicts and the occasional morning drunkard that frequent that certain area on a weekday. I went for a Large Breakfast and a large latte which come to at least a quid dearer than any other spoons, as the waitress turned up to table 14 she presented me with the wrong breakfast - a large vegetarian breakfast but still with my 2 pieces of black pudding in contact, i would recommend this type of breakfast apart from the bland taste of the Quorn Sausages. Breakfast done it was on our way on the long and arduos journey to Cardiff - all 3 hrs and 48 minutes picking up a few more characters, Our Geoff, Golazo Dan and Phil from Creeeeeeeewwwwwwweeeee to add to the mornings entertainment. So with a selection of energy drinks, Old Mout Cider, IPAs and water laid across the table seats it was time to chew the fat over Mad Japanese Wrestling, Who is everyones favourite Parker? and the night before's NXT and the upcoming festivities of WWE Summerslam - All interesting topics of conversation were had. 115pm was the time we arrived in Cardiff to meet up with other Twitter luminaries (The Noncebusters) and it was off to explore the bright lights of Cardiff till the show doors opened up at 645pm for a 730pm start. First port of call was Tiny Rebel Cardiff Brewery Tap next to the gigantic once rumored venue for a WrestleMania - The Millenium Stadium. Now this pub had a wide selection of craft ales with many from the rebel range and other breweries from across the British Isles, I settled for the Summer Fruit Stout (4.5%) at a cost of £3.50 and it was a good start to the day's drinking. Next stop was one amongst many a Brains Brewery pub in the City Centre - The Duke of Wellington which produced a really nice keg pint of Black Stout at a cost of £3.80. Very much recommend one of their pubs if visiting Cardiff, at least 4/5 to go around. It was time to go and reconvene with the rest of the group in the Great Western Wetherspoons near the station. Probably the only downpoint of the day was this pub with its poor selection of real ales (even though they were in the £2.50 marker), we somehow stopped in here for over 2 hours or so till moving on to pastures new of The Cambrian Tap which was another Brains pub with around 10 ales on tap plus a special offer of 2 pork pies topped with a cranberry sauce with a side of mustard grain for £3.50 complimented with another ale costing £3.70. Now as in previous issues of Graps and Claps you will know of the ongoing britwres fans Pool Championship currently held by our Geoff. Well the long search for a pool table in Cardiff took us to the Queen Vaults which is a pub down a side street offering Sky Sports, 8 real ales, a carvery and more importantly 3 pool tables. Results in this session of pool included myself losing 4-1 to Geoff and the title rematch between Geoff and former champion Chris Linay in a thrilling tussle with Chris missing the final black leaving Geoff open to clear the remaining 3 yellows and the all important black ball to retain his title to send Big Chris to the back of the contenders line. Rumours of a match with britwres oracle Alan Boon look set for Wolverhampton in 2 weeks on the King of Trios weekender - Stay Tuned. 645pm hit and it was time to hit the Walkabout venue for ATTACK Pro Wrestling Winterslam 2. A packed crowd of 350/400 surrounded the lower and balcony levels of the building to see the red hot action that was about to be produced, so lets see what went down in the matches that took place. Eddie Dennis vs Sarge Travis Banks was first up and it was great to see Banks Comedy side which is far away from the strong style kiwi buzzsaw character we are more accustomed to on these shores. This went a good 15 minutes going back and forth with Eddie Dennis proving he can hang with one of the scenes best, hitting Banks in one spot with a Razors edge type manaeuver whilst Banks was waving atop saying goodbye, some great facials from Travis here. The end came when Dennis reversed a move into the Next Stop Driver for the big 1-2-3 win fantastic opener to get the crowd going and a pleasure as ever to see Banks in a different role that works. Next up was a scramble with Drew Parker vs Goldschlager vs Beano (a bubblegum type character) vs Charlie Sterling vs Bronco Brendan vs Charli Evans in what you can expect with a Scramble match with lots of high impact moves, dives, shenanigans and tower of doom spots. Very good to see Charlie Sterling again after not seeing him for a while, not sure what his gimmick is supposed to be but he was getting a lot of Aaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhing from our section. Charli Evans who has just come over from down under to follow in her compatriots footsteps of trying to make a name for herself over here like TK Cooper, Travis Banks and Aussie Open impressed in her first outing in front of my eyes and i would certainly like to see a bit of in the coming months. Evans picked up the win with a very popular pop up powerbomb to Drew Parker to get the win. Next up following a turn from hostage victim Split Mcpins on his partner Fat Cat Lloyd Kat joined forces with the Brothers of Obstruction to face Kat and The Aussie Open in a very fun 6 man match that has some great stuff in it with Mark Davis showing off his considerable power to Piledriver The Obstructors. Finish came after much shenanigans with Splits turning on his new allies (Batista style) and joining his Kat friend to defeat the bad guys with Davis hitting The Awful Waffle to a huge pop and a popular win. Next is a topic of huge conversation today on Twitter with Bird & Boar vs Chris Brookes and Ryan Smile in what i thought was a decent tag match but was infiltrated with The Local Village Idiots antagonising Smile over comments Young Ryan made on the old Twitter machine about LGBT. Whilst some of the comments Ryan made were not welcome, no one deserves being told to "kill themselves" as said previous this spoilt a decent match by people with an agenda. Boar picked up the win for his team here with a package piledriver. Next up was Elijah vs the ever popular Omari in a short 8 minute match with Elijah i think picking up the surprise victory here over young Omari. This was alright whilst it lasted and two wrestlers with a bright future on the UK Scene. Main event time with Career vs Title as Flash Morgan Webster faced Champion NO FUNNNNAAAAHHH Damien Dunne in a fantastic 25 minute main event which went Walkabout around the Walkabout spilling to the merch table, many a run in from varipus rosters members including Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher pulled this awesome facial reaction when he got dived on - search it out on Alan Boons Twitter for the picture, I was rolling in stitches at this. Eddie Dennis hit a razors edge on the giant Los Federales Jr to a huge pop, Former ATTACK 24/7 Champion Warren speared Purser as well this was mental stuff. Despite skullduggery from crooked official Shay Purser, Morgan Webster picked up the victory thanks to dissension between Damien Dunne and Travis Banks (Banks hit the Slice of Heaven to Dunne, Webster only picked up a nearfall from this but reveresed it into a strangke to get the win and the ATTACK title to send the masses dancing to their booths for Summerslam later on. I only ended up stopping at the Walkabout till midnight as i was flagging abit, so decamped to The Marriott Hotel across the road (£62 for the night) and a fantastic hotel. Beer and food at the Walkabout included £2 a pint for Fosters, £2.60 for a pint of coke 😔. Food i can only go off what our Geoff had which was basically chilli con carne and 3 potato wedges in a baked bean tin for £4.75 (ripoff tory britain strikes again). As i type i am now on the way home from Cardiff having spent the morning sampling the Spoons Breakfast (£1 cheaper than yesterdays effort) and also trying out a couple more pubs charging under £2.50 for a pint. Overall a fun trip meeting as ever some good people and a chance to see a fantastic promotion like ATTACK who dont take themselves too seriously but provide great entertainment, but despite the 4 hour journey down from Manchester I would recommend anyone to go down and experience them live you will not be disappointed by them. Next review is WCPW Leeds which takes place tomorrow at the 02 Academy and looks a fantastic card including Banks vs Kushida, Mysterio vs Ricochet and Scurll vs Ospreay. Also it is my 33rd Birthday tomorrow so its a nice thing to actually see graps on my birthday, till then #grapsandclaps
