It genuinely confounds me that the Jem’Hadar begin life as infants while the Vorta do not. If you’re gonna have a clone army, it would make sense to not have to bother with raising infants/children, even if only for the few days it takes them to mature to adulthood. On the other hand, Vorta babies/children (at least for the first in a lineage) seem much more practical. They have pretty intense conditioning before they’re activated, I’m sure, but taking advantage of a natural childhood to put them through additional, highly competitive Training From Hell seems like exactly the kind of shit the Founders would do to the Vorta.
