finished darkside chronicles that is the worst ive ever seen a game be held back by pointless bullshit

#the last boss was maybe the single best design in the entire series manuela was awesome krauser was awesome #the insane fucking bleeding to death symbolism between manuela and krauser in the end and his characterization throughout #leading directly into re4 in a really constructive way that added so much to the character leon actually getting a really good arc #of experiencing something that ties into how he was in raccoon city and how he eventually became after krauser's 'death' #genuinely the FOUR CHAPTERS IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING GAME actually about the gasmes story were awesome #and the rest was absolutely fucking horrible #just hours and hours and hours of absolutely fucking miserable bullshit #i guess the re2 parts were at least funny and really eas #y but the code veronica part was like. beyond game ruining #in the end the strength of the last boss means i cant say its worse than outbreak 2 but its literally worse than outbreak 1
