2023 saw me writing a lot of unexpected and new things! It's been a unique year in the Hippoverse to say the least. Going to highlight some of my favs as well as things that never made it to AO3 💖 Putting it all under the cut to save your dash 😘

Alexis hums her appreciation, letting her eyes fall closed while Twyla repeats the circuitous route, and breathing in the blend of lavender and lemon oil her wife insisted upon for “calm and good luck”. The temporary serenity only lasts for three or four passes until a light knock at the door interrupts. She doesn’t try to hide her instant pout when the gentle pressure disappears and she’s forced to open her eyes again. Dr. Rist breezes inside, far too perky in Alexis’s opinion. Perhaps it’s a good sign. Despite her nerves, Alexis plasters her PR smile on, and clasps Twyla’s hand – the only tell she’ll allow to indicate she’s worried while they wait to find out what kind of life changing the appointment will be. “Well,” Dr. Rist says. “Alexis. Twyla. Sorry to keep you waiting. Let’s begin, shall we?”

He’s only seen it once before - in the low light of her messy apartment - which is why he’s positive she’s about to drop a bomb on him. Something that preemptively makes his insides twist. Okay. Just a little turn aaaand- yes. Alright, only one more to go. You got this, Buckley. Buck watches with fascination as the sewing machine’s needle dips and resurfaces, piercing the shimmery blue fabric. A wave of satisfaction and pride washes over him when the final stitches meet seamlessly with the beginning ones. For only putting in minimal effort during Family & Consumer Sciences, he’s impressed with his handiwork. He eases his foot off the pedal and snips the thread, freeing his creation so he can try it on. Ever since Jee watched Sleeping Beauty and Shrek for the first time she’s become obsessed with all things fantasy. Much to Maddie, Chim and Eddie’s amusement, Buck couldn’t help himself from buying her a sparkly dress (or three), as well as a tiara fit for pint-sized royalty. Of course, once she had her clothes to play dress up, she needed a fearsome beast to battle. And, well, how was Buck supposed to be an effective dragon without his own wings? OR There is a Princess, Knight, Dragon, Wizard and Damsel in Distress and there is nothing Uncle Buck won't do for his niece.

NGL I absolutely adore this one. I had a blast writing it and assigning roles to the Han-Buckley-Diaz family.

I’m leaving the 118. Buck has had his oxygen tank run out, he’s been caught in more natural disasters than he’d prefer, and trapped under a ladder truck. Among other things. Those agonizing memories pale in comparison to what he feels now, hearing Eddie’s announcement. He’s a mix of breathless and numb and tingling pinpricks dancing over his skin. Of too much and not enough and loss.

Alexis combs her fingers through her hair, letting manicured nails lightly scratch along her scalp while she stares at the ceiling. Golden wavy strands glide between her fingertips before dropping back to the pillow, a feeling she wants to take advantage of while she can. The self-soothing act had always calmed her as a little girl. Tonight she’s not exactly troubled, but ever since the tests came back, and the immediate future is wrapped in so much uncertainty, she’s found herself doing it more often. Beyond the sliver of moonlight spilling through the window, painting an ethereal line across the carpet and over the blankets, she doesn’t know what time it is. Only that it’s still night, and dawn could be minutes or hours away. Patrick, with all his lil’ nature skills, would probably know without having to look at a clock. She’ll have to ask next time they talk. ---------------------- A future fic that leaves Alexis pondering life put on hold by the unexpected

Like his subconscious realized before he did that sleeping around wasn’t cutting it. That he craved something deeper and more complex than purely physical relationships.

2 perfectly awkward photos to compare from and even in the awkwardness you can tell which one she's more comfortable in😂

But anyways! Top photo is January 2022 and bottom photo is January 2023. Her lifestyle didn't change much from her previous home to mine. She's out 24/7 w/ a buddy and has access to hay at all times. Major differences, she has access to multiple kinds of quality hays 24/7 with me and we completely overhauled her diet otherwise. She was on SO much grain before, two different ones but both with a super high protein and low fat, also high in sugar & starch. She's on maybe a pound of grain(the lowest nsc on the market triple crown senior gold bc shes so picky and won't eat the VB blend otherwise lol also ps the regular senior made her fat but WILD) and then hay pellets and vermont blend! Also gets beet pulp at night and a flax oil because she refuses to eat ground flax smh lol. Her topline is obviously much different because she's back in work but i'd say even when she had lots of time off from me being gone/her having some issues it didn't really change much. I'd like to think diet plays a solid role in that when the fitness isn't there. The biggest difference just looking at her is her coat!!! It was rough to the touch when I got her and she had a lot of wirey hairs. Some flaky dry skin as well. I can't even believe thats the same horse! Pretty much same light and no filters. She was blanketed in her previous home and I do lightly blanket as well because she will literally take it out on her mini friend when she's chilly. I'd say grooming isn't much different, I pretty much only groom days I ride and mostly only use a very soft brush and a hard one on her legs. Nothing special at all! Its so rewarding seeing the transformation! I take so much pride in how my horses look and feel. I also have to laugh because all of Honey's team that helps her feeling her best always say she's fat. At first I get offended because I don't think so but then I laugh because i'd much rather they say my TB is fat then skinny!!! Next up is her hoof transformation. Still steady slow progress but shes come so far. I think a couple more cycles and we'll have never known how bad they were before.

At work today I most likely sprained (that’s what I’m hoping for) my right ankle. 2 years ago I broke my right leg and right ankle so this has really freaked me out. I just slipped on oil that Just got spilled so hard that my right leg went completely under me and my right shoe cut into my left shin (like literally broke skin through my pants.) Driving home (just over a mile) made me almost dry heave with pain. So if anyone would be open to sliding some extra change or dollars my way I would truly truly appreciate it because I would like to get an x-ray/doctors appointment and I have literally 50 dollars to my name right now. TLDR hurt my weak and full of metal ankle at work today, would genuinely appreciate any donations so I can get it checked out. If anyone wants like proof of me breaking that leg in the past I can send you the scar and x-ray before and after pics. There’s currently a solid bruise forming etc.

Reminiscing on my hysterically butch lesbian childhood. In elementary school during winter I would hold all the girls jackets so when they got hot they wouldn’t get dirty on the ground. I’d hold girls backpacks if they thought it was heavy bc I’m strong! When it was cold I’d have girls holding onto my arms bc I run hysterically warm so I’d be their little heater. In middle school I’d ask girls if I could pick them up and I’d princess carry them for a bit and then put them down.

These children interrupted my sleep.

I'm now living in the city, and I don't really know if I should call it one—Internet's slow, streets are no different to our barrio, but this place not even bothered to put more colorful lanterns or banners around.

Now, let's go back to these children with their horns. I'm literally having a headache. Those noises are louder than bumpy cars, choo-choo trains, and the sound of my speakers when I play my favourite songs.

And—yes, I should take a note that when I was a kid, I always told to stop since it's still morning, and blowing horns aren't good while people are hustling for their media noche, and noises got them head scrumble, saying, "Sa susunod na araw, umbok na 'yang pisngi mo." Yes, the "beke" or mumps that sounded like "beki" when my innocent self don't know what it means 'til the moment I had one, and had no choice but to put "tina" on the part of my face where mumps grow... only to know that it's an infection and I was a victim of Dr. Quack's scheme. I regret of smelling like sour milkfish soup. Paksiw!

Horns are delightful and you need to put so much pressure to blow it. Then you'll just trying to give yourself the context not to think about "horns" anymore 'cause you might wondering I am trying to tell you about "horn" and not "horn".

Let's just forget about it, let's go back to these children.

The tip of the horn full of saliva. Then there goes 12, and I'm l'll scream with after father lit Judas' belt, and my hearty soul will rock. Speakers are on its full volume. Round fruits are forbidden to be touched. TV's open for the countdown. 3... 2... 1...

Then there goes 3 or 4 AM when everybody's sleeping, and I need to take care of my Mom's plate not to fall as I wash 'em with a bubbly soap and new sponge.

And, yes. I'll blow horns at 5 AM and no one cares. They're all sleeping like cooking oil in sitting peacefully in the kitchen, and I'm living my best life as a kid, and will turn afterwards to play Beyblade and brick game.

And, yes. I believe Taylor Swift is a Filipina, for we lit Christmas light up 'til January. Not to mention how immortal spaghetti is and still good like an MMFF movie on its second week.

And, yes. For Pete's sake, I wonder why these kids stopped blowing horns after writing this one. Probably, they're tired or will sleep in the middle of the afternoon to save their energy for New Year's eve.

And, yes. I should do the same 'cause I need to work exactly at midnight. No hams or salad on sight, but my warm desktop and keyboards are waiting in front of me.

This time, my perspective has changed. I once wrote this a year ago, and I know it made my 2022 a year of clownery:

"When I was a kid, people say that don't talk when your mouth is full. When I grown up, people say that don't love when still unsure."

And, yes. I should be writing of what 2022 had been into my life. Well, it's like waiting in a bus for 8 full hours. It's like waiting for someone who can't even bother to leave a message 'cause they don't f*ck*ng care, or more than a farewell message to a friend with their resignation letter, or a tea party, or a family problem, or existential crisis, or red and pink, or ties and sneakers... or a plan never brought to life, but a series of lightness and darkness intertwined and compiled into a book, with no strings or sentimental things attached.

These children interrupted my sleep.

And, I don't know what I'm talking about. Really.

One thing's for sure. I'm not yet ready, but I need to be one, but...

Here's to another laugh and pain. Here's to more roadtrips and sleepless nights.

Here's to you is overrated.

I should say, "here's to me..."

Somehow, your phone number is constantly being called by someone from honor FX like when joining #honorFX broker, you will be given a high bonus, free overnight, very low span, ... . But when investors have taken the bait, starting to reveal the real face of the scam broker, as evidenced by many investors denouncing the #honorfx exchange's fraud, a few accusations can be picked up:

The first is a scam when charging too high an overnight fee reported by a customer: August 1, 2022 I have $1000 in capital on Honor Fx with the purpose of buying Apple shares like Pham Tuan Minh. floor sales are welcome. But after entering the capital, I was constantly being supported by my friend Ha Thanh to type Forex codes, many orders with many codes, all orders had no entry point, no take profit, no loss. Whenever I went to lack orders, lack of volume, my friend Ha said harshly and threatened to stop supporting me, in less than 2 days my account was negative 2/3 of my account. After changing the support person, friend Nguyen Quyen, I fortunately recovered my capital and removed the negative account and started to make profits, however, when trading shares, Quyen did not inform me in advance about the regulations on revenue collection. exchange's overnight fee. I bought 50CP of LMT with 22.5$ swap fee deducted. When asked, Quyen said that every Wednesday x3 overnight fee. Then on Friday, August 12, Quyen continued to let me buy USoil when the oil trend was down, with a volume of 1 lot (saying this was a small volume = 0.1). Friday night, I didn't get any warning that this oil has a very heavy fee ($150/lot) and will be x3 overnight and no stop loss for oil orders even though I have a suggestion to cut the sound. Saturday morning I was startled to see $450 of the overnight fee deducted. On Monday, the position of negative oil came to more than 500$ and I got a request to cut off my account, the total amount of money I lost was 969$ ($450 overnight fee and 519$ cut off the oil order). If my account balance is 1000 $, it really burned the account unjustly. I contacted the hotline of the floor, Pham Tuan Minh and Quyen, but no one solved it, one person blamed the other for not informing the customer, and then said that the regulations of the fee collection floor were like that, wondering if can reflect with the floor. They asked me to raise the capital to 3000$ or continue to trade profitably up to 3000$ to get the overnight fee reduction. However, it is very risky to add more capital or continue to trade on an open floor like this, so I decided to withdraw all my capital at the exchange. However, it is unacceptable for me to bear the overnight fee that is too high without prior notice. I would like to send the images related to Infofx and please contact the broker to refund my fee.

Previously, on October 5, 2021, the Honor exchange was accused of another scam from a Pakistani investor as follows: “I requested a withdrawal on January 10, 2020. This company Dot terminated my account, when i talked on Support Skype, the person's name is Kuldeep, he said my account is under investigation and support will respond to me soon. after a few hours when i tried to inquire about my withdrawal they blocked me and my account was also locked. I received an email about my documents unverified while I was using this broker since 6 months ago and I have successfully withdrawn 2/3 times. I attach my old withdrawal details.”

Next, MT5 account with number 920046 accused the exchange #honorfx of interfering with a stop loss order that lost 54 205 USD of customers. And especially this account 920046 denounced the blatant fraud of this broker when not allowing withdrawals, the number was up to 89,000 usd and was also locked by this exchange, specifically: “MT5 account mine is 920046, i joined from 2/6/2022. When there is profit on the floor, withdraw a few times to make investors believe. However, after that I had a withdrawal of 5000 USD and the order was still approved. Initially, it was still deducted from the trading account, but after a few hours, the money will not be returned to my personal account but added to my account. transaction account, this action keeps repeating from last Friday - July 8, 2022 to now (That is, when I withdraw money, I initially deduct money from my trading account, but then that amount be added to the account). When contacting the customer service department of the floor whose number in Vietnam is 1900292920, it is explained that the bank's personal information has errors, the explanation of the customer service department is not really convincing. because I have successfully withdrawn several times already. Currently, the amount that honorFX has appropriated from me is 88654 USD. After many times of writing to the floor support department [email protected] and [email protected] but did not receive a reply, on the afternoon of July 13, 2020 My account was locked (Unable to receive a reply). accessible anymore). I am posting so this page is asking honorfx Exchange to give me my money back. And by the way, participating investors should be careful with this exchange and new investors should stay away from this Honorfx floor lest they lose money and lead to bankruptcy.”

So this happened. ☺️

I’ve been natural for over 10 years. I’ve chronicled a chunk of it on here. Style after style, product review after product review. I spent most of 2021 in protective styles, not really wanting to deal with my loose, natural hair for long periods, so by fall I knew I wanted microlocs. I was ready for a change.

I’d contemplated locs before. I knew I didn’t want traditional locs, and looked up Sisterlocks, but I didn’t want to be limited strictly to their licensed technicians. Microlocs (which I just learned about in the past 2 years) has a wider network of people I can see for a retie (and easier to retie on my own once I learn).

Braids That Speak, who I’d been going to for protective styles since 2020, began doing microlocs in the past year, and since I was familiar with their work and was following their microloc progress, I knew I wanted them to do my locs. I had my consultation in October, was prepared to make a January appointment when the 2022 books opened, but then saw an opening for New Year’s Eve and why not start the new year with the new hair?

My appointment was at 8am. I showed up with washed, detangled hair free of any product, and was out of their chair by 3:30pm. The stylist was very efficient, doing two-strand twists that were interlocked to stay in place. After I was done, they sprayed my hair with peppermint water, oiled my scalp, gave me instructions on care, and I also got a free hair bonnet. I only “liked” my locs when I left the salon because the water shrunk the twists, but I knew I’d just have to pin them down to stretch that evening (while I still can — when they loc, not so much). I LOVED them the next day.

And so, my shelves are a little lighter (minus the face and body products, which are another story), my morning prep should go quicker, and I’m a little more free than I was with loose, natural hair. I can’t wait to see how these locs mature.

She used black names and when it became no longer trendy to do so, threw them away. She does not follow or support any black rights groups anymore or their causes. Her husband does. So you tell me who was faking it. She didn’t even speak on the justice for George Floyd when Chauvin was found guilty of killing him. Her husband did. Andy covered “American Skin” and donated money to help black causes. Juliet gets a tattoo on her SKiN stealing from black art and miss using it. She clearly has a good example in a supportive partner of how to be an ally or advocate.... She’d rather just use other people’s suffering to sell herself. I loved going grocery shopping with C., loved doing the dishes with her, loved being near her while doing my usual day’s work. Like me, C. is a writer; during that long second date, she mostly worked at my dining room table, surrounded by books and files, while I wrote nearby at a standing desk, which she took one laughing look at and promptly began referring to as my unicycle. On days when we needed a change of scene, I took her to a public library I liked a few towns to the south, where we sat in a little study with green-shaded lamps and grand oil portraits and armchairs that looked as if they were designed for wolfhounds to sleep beneath them. When that space was occupied, we laid claim instead to a wide wooden table in an airy atrium, where rabbits and robins had forty meals a day in the grass outside and I got distracted watching her face in the afternoon light, angled and serious with thought.

Quarantine Journal

January 4, 2022

Huh, first time I accidentally typed 2021 and had to go back and fix it. It took four whole days!

Anyway, I haven’t been posting because we’ve been traveling but now we are hoooome! Yaaaaaay! We made the trip out to Illinois in one marathon 15 hour driving day, but wound up splitting the way back into two days because of That Big Fucking Storm. You may have seen it on the US news if you’ve been watching, the storm that snarled I-95 so bad that Senator Kaine and a few thousand other people were stranded on the road for like 23 hours in the middle of the snowstorm. It looked pretty wild.

The wildest part for us was actually that we’d gone north on I-95 during our drive out of Virginia, up into Pennsylvania and then over across the tops of Ohio and Indiana and Illinois. This is the fastest route for our trip and the one Siri invariably tries to choose for us. She chose the same route for us on the way home, but I looked at the weather report and said “errrrrr.... no.” People around Washington DC are completely incompetent drivers even without 4-6 inches of snow predicted. So we went down to Central Illinois and cut west through Indianapolis and Dayton and then down through West Virginia. It added an hour to our trip on paper but ended up saving us 20 hours sitting on the highway, so I felt pretty good about my navigation skills when the news reports started rolling in. We had to hole up in a hotel in West Virginia overnight because the roads started getting bad in the dark, but finished the trip today with no problems after a nice late start to let the overnight ice melt.

So the storm had a couple of consequences for us. Husband had to delay his trip a day, which is bad. He didn’t have a lot of days to spend with his mom already, and losing one is very frustrating. On the other hand, we got into town today with enough time that I was able to do some sorely needed car maintenance. With all this travel, we were very overdue for an oil change and our windshield wipers were also not doing so great. Now both of those problems are fixed! His trip will be safer because of it. Also, the snow and ice meant that the school district let out early yesterday and gave the kids a snow day today. That means less work for kiddo to catch up on when he goes back on Monday. (I finally got ahold of the school district yesterday morning and got confirmation that fuck the CDC, kids with COVID still quarantine for ten days. Kiddo’s tenth day is Saturday, so Monday is his back to school day.) We were careful while traveling, masks all the time even though we waited til after the five days of isolation.

In any case, tomorrow Husband is off to NC and Kiddo and I will wait out his ten day COVID vacation. We’re starting our new Offline Time plan to manage our internet usage, so that should be challenging but hopefully also a little fun. The new plan is focusing on quality offline time rather than limiting the amount of screentime we are using. I have heard that you should never eliminate a coping mechanism without having something better ready to take its place. Right now the kiddo’s offline time is mostly waiting to go on the internet again because its his one major coping mechanism. We’re going to try and build some more, until the internet doesn’t feel quite as important and hopefully the online time dwindles a bit on its own. We’re a computer family, we will always use the computer, it’s just a matter of how healthy we are while doing it. I’ve made a list of a bunch of fun offline stuff we can do separately or together, and tomorrow we will both be aiming for six hours of quality Offline Time. Here’s hoping it goes well!

The performers including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Eminem (who gave us a kneel.) were spot on but the set up seemed to cut out some of the audience. ** Aaron Rodgers was given the MVP award at the BFL Honors.** Snoop Dogg has been accused of sexual assault.** The best commercials to me were ads for the next Jordan Peele movie, Nope and the new Jurassic Park. OK, the Jones ad with Tommy Lee and Leslie was pretty awesome.** Jim Gaffigan put it best when talking about the Super Bowl. He realized it is the most American of institutions because of the spectacle of gluttony and consumerism. So true!** Mike McDaniel will coach for Miami.

The designers have been busy and are ready to bowl us over. I don’t quite get it. I know that the people at the top don’t want to give employees anything and can use this understaffing ruse to trick us into thinking bad service is ok. But, I hear more and more about people deciding not to visit certain places because they are going into near complete self- service. It worked with gas stations so I suppose it will take hold everywhere. Most Red Robin’s and CVS’s seem to be void of much help. Some people are challenged when it comes to technology. The poor often can’t afford phones or computers when they need to access things from home.

Why does religious fervor always turn into fear and paranoia?.. Rib note: After I wrote this, I found myself reading Rickie Lee Jones book, Last Chance Texaco (it is friggin awesome by the way) and she wrote a line something like, ‘cruelty led to fear which led to paranoia.’ Both statements make perfect sense . I know people who have lived that.** I can’t wait for the movie about Rickie Lee except that I could not think of a person unique enough to play her. I thought perhaps she could pick the actress, much like Loretta Lynn did. She sure got it right!! After more thinking, I wonder if Alice Wetterlund could play Ms. Jones?? I think that could work!!

January 28th, 2022.

It was dark outside when I heard the alarm blaring. I looked over to see my best friend, Angel, sitting up.

When I was looking at what he was doing, I was confused. He was fumbling with something on the ground. I realized it was my alarm that I had set for our morning run.

I apologized to Angel. I did not realize that my alarm was set that early. He said he was totally fine with it going off, and I passed back out.

I woke up to my cat, Momo, meowing at the door. I was on the left side of the bed which was facing the wall. I climbed over Angel, who was just to the right of me.

It was 9:33 am when I looked at my alarm this morning. I went straight to the bathroom to see my hair was.. A disaster. The oily mess was spun up into a high bun. The hair was so dirty the hair had clumped into sections, making my hair a curly texture.

I had therapy at 10:00 am, so I had to be fast. I jumped into the shower.

As a child, I always hated to shower. I never knew why, but it was always such a chore. I would be dirty for weeks at a time and it never bothered me. As an adult, I can say I truly love to shower. The warm water hitting my face, the suds in my hair, the relaxing minutes of truly unbothered Suzi.

I couldn’t take a long shower today. I wrapped my hair in a towel and I popped out of the shower. I got dressed in my workout clothes, I have a beautiful blue workout bra and matching leggings. I pulled a yellow wool sweatshirt over and my outfit was complete.

When I walked back into my room it was 9:52, Angel had awoken by this point and was laying in my bed.

Angel understood that I had therapy. We discussed our plans for the day, and I was on my way to my computer to go into Digital Therapy.

My therapist is amazing.

February 16th, 2022.

I woke up early. Last night was a nightmare and a miracle all at once. I don’t remember much from last night, but I also remember everything.

I have been lonely. I have been fighting my depression hard. I say I am happy, but I am not. I hate my body. Constantly pulling on my fat, and my sagging boobs. I hate how I look like a monkey or a disgusting animal. It’s always on my mind.

Life has seemed disgusting again. My room is messy, stolen oil paint, canvases, sketchbooks, and clothes just linger across the room. Posters half hanging off the wall due to my cat tearing the pins off the wall in my sleep. The sun doesn’t feel pretty anymore but a sign of heat and disgust but it is still so cold outside.

I woke up, but late. Nothing seemed important on this day. I work at 1:00 PM.

I sit on my phone on useless social media until my eyes burn from the sight. I learned nothing from my experience on my phone other than I absolutely hate myself.

I get out of bed, and dodge the disgusting floors that I haven’t cleaned in weeks. I pick up some hairy, gross looking pants from the floor and a shirt and change into them. I go into the bathroom and I look at myself.

It’s valentine's day. I realized.

I wasn’t going to wear makeup or get ready, but there is still a small part of me that cares about holidays and being super fun with it all.

I decided on bright pink eyeshadow and I pinned my hair up with some star shaped bobby pins. I changed into a pink crochet-type top that I bought for a trip I went on with my friends a while back.

I was running late, and I headed to work. My car is.. Cold. The heat had stopped working in it a while ago.

I drive, listening to a song called “linger” by the cranberries.

I try to stay positive, but sometimes it’s just so hard. There are a few things I hate about myself that I cannot get over. The first one is that I am a consistent liar. I don’t know why, but lying is simply so easy. I can lie about anything at any time. I make up so many stories I don’t even know what the truth is anymore. Thus, a reason I am keeping this journal.

Another thing I hate about myself is that I am a thief. I steal. I never, ever, once stole until my ex roommate, Ivie Parkingson, stole groceries from Walmart, and then proceeded to show me how to steal. Ever since then I have not been ringing things up for a long time. Another reason I did not want to go to work is because I cannot stop stealing. It’s something I am trying to change, I promise. It doesn’t make me feel good either, I can promise you that.

Whatever, that rant is not necessary. I am constantly in fear I will be taken to jail for stealing, but I can’t stop. No, I don’t know why either. Well, I think I do, but I don’t want to get into that now.

I arrived at work. I actually really love my job. I work at a cute little heath store called Natural Grocers. They are all over the Utah area. They sell lots of vitamins, organic foods, vegan and keto, you get the drill. They are the specialized foods that all white people go and shop for and then try to convince you that you do not need modern medicine.

I don’t want to get into the details at work, but to summarize: I put things on shelves for 8 hours. But something I do want to mention that happened at work is I actually snapped Tanner Rush.

I was sitting on the toilet, and I put my phone down. My phone scrolled down in my contacts and I saw his name. I decided that I wanted to see if he unadded me on snapchat, just for fun.

I snapped him, and I did not think anything of it. The next thing I know is that he is snapping me back in an instant.

It was fun, and fresh to talk to Tanner Rush again. He hasn’t changed much, but I don’t know how to explain it. His smile seems a little brighter.

Anyway, the next thing I realized is that I was thinking about him all day at work. I was fantasizing how we are going to hang out and be friends. We snapped throughout my shift, and I decided to ask him to hang out with me.

To be fair, I asked him if he wanted to do mushrooms. He replied yes. I was honestly super excited to see him.

After work, I drove straight home and I called him. I went over the plan, and he was okay with it. He did mention he had a girlfriend.

And I do not know why, but there was a small part of me that was quite sad. I don’t know why, I know Tanner has always had a special place in my heart but I did not realize it was like that.

Anyway, we agreed to keep it platonic, which is awesome. I am a lot of things, but I am not a homewrecker. That is something that I know I will never do.

I was happy. I was going to do mushrooms, see my brother, my best friend, and my ex. I have been so lonely lately, so I have been trying to keep up with all of my old friends and be more inviting. I mean, who can complain about always being alone if they never put any effort in?

The long story short is: I drove to Logan. I played some gorgeous music and just looked at the scenery beyond me. I don’t care how much I state I hate Utah, it is damn pretty there.

I eventually get to Logan, and I meet Tanner at our old Taco Bell. We worked at the South Logan Taco Bell together when we first initially dated back in 2018.

We headed over to Tennessee’s place, and he was not there. He was grabbing the mushrooms that we were going to be doing. I went to Del Taco, because I was hungry. I got two vegan soft tacos and a medium diet coke.

Once we got to Tennessee’s house, we smoked some marijuana and we had a good laugh. Me and Tanner brought up some old memories, and I will say, it was quite nice to reminisce on that type of thing.

I dropped Tanner off later that night and I went to Angels house. We pretty much went straight to bed. The next morning (I say morning, but realistically it was 12:45 pm). We woke up. We got ready, brushed teeth and did all of that jazz, and we went and got smoothies.

Something I love so much is hanging out with Angel, it’s something I don’t say enough. I really am thankful to have a friend like him.

Anyway, we got smoothies at Eastside Cafe, and even though it was cute.. The smoothies honestly were ass. I don’t know why we went there, to be honest with you. I got a smoothie called “the best dam smoothie” and mate, I don’t know about that one.

Me and Angel then bought tickets to see the movie Sing 2.

You will never guess what we did next.. I am just kidding, I am predictable.

We made mushrooms! We ate them in his car and then we went to the movies. Honestly, for a kids movie, it was pretty dank. I mean that porcupine has got some mad pipes.

They did not really kick in until the movie was basically over. We went to Taco Bell, and then we went to Green Canyon. Honestly, it was beautiful. The smoky mountains, the yellow light from Angel's car but then the cold, pure, and cool snow. It was breathtaking. This is when me and Angel really started to trip.

The mountains have transformed into some scary looking skulls, with their flesh melting off of them. It sounds frightening, but truly, it’s really not.

Well. That is what I thought at that moment.

The ending of this story is near- simply because I do not want to write about it anymore.

Me and Angel had a great rest of our day, we hung out with Taelor and we just had a conversation.

I drove to my parents house, I wanted to make up to them. I mean, they really have abused me, but I learn to forgive. Because after doing mushrooms, I realized, I only want a family. I don’t care for hookups or anything like that. I am a RELATIONSHIP PERSON.

I went to my parents house- and it was bad. I mean, bad. The shit all over the house needed a good mop.

Everything from my childhood was destroyed.

13. The Christian Succession – Stupidity that is Beyond Belief

Summary:

To quote Sebastian Gorka “The Global Jihadi Movement now has a sanctuary the size of Texas, better armed than any of our NATO allies. Biden made that happen. How safe do you feel? Biden declared the war against Jihadis “over” so the government can focus on the “domestic threat” at home. You know who he means, don’t you?”

Background:

Since November 3, 2020, I have witnessed a constant stream of events that come under the heading of “Surreal”, “Unbelievable” and “I have never seen that before”. In August all previous records were shattered. Here is a partial list:

1. Americans in danger were abandoned by Biden and our military leaders.

2. We Americans abandoned at least $85 Billion of OUR weapons for the Taliban to use or sell to Chinese, Russians, etc. to reverse engineer which in the future will put our service men and women in greater jeopardy.

3. Our “leaders” successfully transformed ragtag Taliban terrorists into the 15thstrongest armed force based upon the weapons we GAVE them.

4. Biden looking at his watch suggested boredom while the coffins of the 13 young American soldiers were unloaded from the transport plane from Afghanistan.

5. Biden condemned millions of girls over the age of 12 to become Taliban sex slaves and an unknown number of Christians to be beheaded.

6. The U. S. State Department GAVE the Taliban a list of Americans and the Afghanis that helped us that were left behind, future targets or hostages.

7. The State Department indicated that they are prepared to continue to provide funds to the Taliban.

8. Biden and various officials called this utter disaster an “Extraordinary Success” while the Taliban celebrated our defeat. Who do you believe?

There are reports of two warehouses in Kabul that required high security clearances to enter that are full of undisclosed weapons. One of the news sources also reported pallets of American currency being given to the Taliban. Does that mean Biden paid the Taliban to take Afghanistan? Who got more, the Taliban from Biden or the Iranians from Obama? Who lost?

Some of the ripple effects became obvious last week as Angela Merkel of Germany requested the help of Putin and Russia to get Germans out of Afghanistan. So, Biden has made Germany dependent on Putin for natural gas and security. Is this the beginning of the end of NATO? That cannot end well for the USA, but all the DMs care about is their money and their power. Biden’s investment partners, the Chinese Communist Party, prospered from this event. America?

Apparently, some former special forces members created a volunteer force which rescued more than 700 people in Afghanistan? They had assistance from military officers in Kabul who ignored their orders and aided the effort. I salute the valor of those involved and the Marine Lt. Col. that posted a video demanding accountability over Afghanistan. It cost him his career and abuse is headed his way from the DM’s afraid his action could start a trend. All of this is a massive condemnation of Biden and his administration including the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They should all resign but that would require them to have qualities they lack.

The Impact of Poor Leadership:

Last week I took one of my children to The Cleveland Clinic for some tests. We do not yet have a diagnosis to her condition but after failing for 20 years with the local medical community, we now have some answers, a path of future tests, and hope they will lead to a final, accurate diagnosis and cure. It was a fascinating experience to see the facilities of a world class medical clinic, to talk with the doctors and staff, to learn they are celebrating their 100th anniversary of providing medical care and training, and to compare them with the Medical College of Virginia (MCV). 60 years ago, MCV was on the cutting edge of medicine being the site of the first heart transplant in the world but today is an “also ran”.

Combine that vista of the importance of leadership with the antivaccination demonstrations spreading globally and we can see with singular clarity the difference between organizations that have leaders with a vision for how they want to improve the lives of their constituents and organizations that have leaders whose vision is merely of being in office. The DMs are in the latter group. Because they lack vision, they focus on what separates us. The Bible teaches - When the old folks have no vision, the young folks perish.

The American experiment in self rule is based upon honest elections that allow citizens to express their opinion via elections rather than bullets. Election fraud destroys that critical fulcrum of change. By my count, seven states are now auditing the 2020 election. All 50 states must be audited and election laws changed to ensure future elections are honest. Anyone that believes the 2020 election was honest is suffering self-delusion.

America has prospered under the hand of God because our country enjoyed the combination of Christianity, capitalism, and democracy. That combination focuses on growing the size of the economic pie which thus increases the financial capability to assist those in our society who need help. Marxism fails because it focusses on everyone as a victim of something and so the pie needs to be redivided, a self-destructive exercise that decreases the size of the economic pie.

Economic Forecast:

The Pandemic Bubble Economy continues to function despite historic strong but opposing economic forces. The stock market has risen from a normal Price to Earnings (PE) ratio of 14 to 22 , an indication it is a bubble. The residential market has begun to cool due to what on the surface appears to be a minor increase in mortgage rates in January of this year. With the rate of inflation hitting levels not seen for 30+ years, Governors of The Fed have begun to voice their concerns and call for tapering of the Quantitative Easing (QE) referring to The Feb buying 10-year U. S. Treasuries and home mortgages to force mortgage interest rates lower encouraging new home construction.

New home construction is a key leading indicator of the USA economy because it impacts about 33% of the economy, from construction materials to home furnishings. The National Association of REATORS announced on Monday, August 30, 2021, that its Pending Sales Index had declined for the second month in a row. Some scoffed in January when I forecasted that the increase in mortgage rates post-election marked the peak of residential activity, now obvious.

As The Fed tapers its QE, mortgage rates will rise causing a further decline in all of the real estate market segments including the land market. The highest probability is that an ugly real estate market lies ahead which should become more visible in 12 to 18 months worsened by The Fed needing to focus on inflation. That focus will mean The Fed will be unable to apply their normal remedy to an ailing economy, lower interest rates.

Since Biden has made us dependent on OPEC for oil and wants to force us to more expensive and less reliable “Green Energy” we face a combination of higher energy prices, higher mortgage rates, and higher taxes of a magnitude that each individually would cause a recession. Again I am alone but I believe the second half of 2022 will be quite ugly, a stagnant economy due to higher interest rates, higher taxes, and higher inflation which is called “Stagflation”.

Pray that our Lord and Savior raises up and protects the Patriots that demand forensic audits of the 2020 election in every state. There are now seven states on that path but the other 43 need to step up. Honest elections are the fulcrum of our American experiment. It is not vengeance to demand that (1) our laws be based on Christian morality and (2) that everyone play by the same laws.

Every portfolio should contain some cash but a great piece of land remains The Best investment long term. Capitalism builds wealth, Marxism/Socialism consumes it in self destruction. Pray for honest and forensic audited elections in the USA. Men make plans, but God ALWAYS wins. Stand with God and support the patriots while replacing the Elites/DMs.

5. The Christian Succession – Are the DM Wheels Beginning to Wobble?

Most Americans across our country celebrated Independence Day last weekend. We traveled to Florida for a family event and returned by car on Sunday afternoon. Thinking traffic would be bad we had planned to break the return trip into two legs. But on Sunday traffic was light so we drove all the way through. It was interesting that every time I stopped for gas, when the pump was supposed to print my receipt, all of them were out of paper. America had been on the road.

The Demented Marxists (DM) had a bad week. It was interesting to watch. Here are four questions:

1. The New York City (NYC) Mayor election saw 1 Million voters cast their ballots but the DM’s ended up with more than 1.1M ballots. Oops. The DM’s had to publicly acknowledge that they do not know who won the first round and it will be a few weeks before they can figure it out. Election fraud? Can the DMs get the Republican Senate in Arizona to audit the NYC Mayor election?

2. I have lost count, is the non-infrastructure Infrastructure Deal on or off. Neither Biden knows, but for different reasons. Perhaps Obama has not told them yet. More stimulus into an economy already operating at capacity will simply increase the rate of inflation from high to rampant. Is rampant inflation the DM economic plan?

3. The Momma Bears have the CRT idiots on the run including some of the founders of the CRT movement. As that culture war continues, the DMs have sent in their reserves, the National Education Association (NEA), which voted to (1) resist going back to the classrooms until all students are vaccinated despite the lack of an approval of the vaccines for anyone under the age of 18, and (2) insist on teaching CRT in every public classroom in America. Are we witnessing the end of public education?

4. Remember the Democrats running around yelling about the Republicans’ War on Women? Since Democrats support transgenders winning women’s athletic events and women’s beauty contests – does that qualify as a war on women?

Give our Lord and Savior the credit for the great awakening that is happening as Christians stand firm when Satan is being exposed. Hallelujah. Amen. Here are just a few recent examples:

1. Trump held his second rally, this time in Sarasota, Florida. Another sellout crowd. Biden’s July 4th message received views equal to 25% of the attendees at Trump’s rally. Yet we are supposed to believe that Biden got the most votes in the history of the USA.

2. More governors are sending either police or troops to the USA southern border. My guess is it is a different group of states than sent troops to DC in January – March. Both events highlight failure on the part of the DM’s and displays that states are increasingly acting independent of the Federal government.

3. One of Arizona’s State Senators has called for a national movement to audit all elections in all states. Every nonprofit organization has an annual audit, publicly traded companies get audited, how come it is not standard procedure to audit our elections? Virginia’s Republicans must be hiding under their blankies because they are not discussing an audit.

I highly recommend that you read the book “Unsettled” by Steven E. Koonin. It is the most thorough analysis of Climate Change I have found. Pure FACTS not opinions wrapped in spin. Mr. Koonin is candid in his disdain for the media’s distortion of the facts that have been and are issued on the topic of Climate Change. It is easy to see that the media types are either clueless about science or severely slanted in their view (or both) because they never let the facts stand in the way of making up a good story.

Speaking of Climate Change, watch for rolling electrical brownouts in California and Texas. Is Virginia next to experience a highest cost and lowest reliability electric grid dependent on solar panels and bird slicers called windmills. Perhaps the DM’s think brownouts are a way of fighting their imagined climate change. To me, brownouts mean a lousy government.

Melissa MacKenzie, the Publisher of American Spectator, wrote a personal blog article last week and described her movement away from the “dying social media platforms” to the new ones – Rumble, Signal, Telegram, Speakeasy, Gab, and Parler. She has marked a trend. Join it.

In the economy, here are some critical data points:

1. Two homebuilders have now shared with me that their sales pace has declined each month for the last three months in a row. If you have been reading this blog, you know that in February we forecasted that trend would occur and explained the reason why it is happening – higher mortgage rates.

2. Thanks to the Biden the USA is no longer energy independent but again subject to the whims of OPEC which has raised the price of oil to more than $75 per barrel and headed to $100 a barrel. Get ready for $4 gas. That adds a higher cost of energy into the DMs economic toxic mix. Higher interest rates, higher energy prices, higher inflation, capped off with higher taxes … anyone one of them equals a recession.

3. The report of 850,000 jobs in June reflects the states that stopped paying folks not to work so they found jobs. While that is significant, the real significance is its impact on The Fed. The Fed meets the end of this month and then the end of September. By the end of September, the pressure on the Fed to reduce stimulus will be so high they will at least announce when they will begin to taper their Quantitative Easing (QE), the term for The Fed buying 10-year Treasuries and mortgages to reduce mortgage interest rates to stimulate the real estate market. When The Fed announces that they will begin to taper QE, the 10-year Treasuries and therefore mortgage interest rates will both increase and burst the real estate bubble.

4. Biden fired the CEO of FNMA, the quasi-government mortgage entity. Biden stated that he will appoint someone who will lower the standards for mortgage loans so that more folks can buy homes. If making bad loans on houses sounds familiar, Billy Clinton did the same in 1998 and the result was the financial crisis that created The Great Recession. Why do the DM’s want another financial crisis?

The Fed now owns such a large percentage of the Treasury market that it causes mixed signals in those markets. Do not be fooled. As The Fed tapers QE, interest rates will rise and the economy will slow. The higher interest rates will impact a matrix of forces but the result is simple to forecast - the ripple effects cause a brutal recession.

Counting the one that is coming in 2022, during my career I will have been through seven recessions caused by one of the following – (1) increased energy prices, (2) interest rates being raised to combat inflation, and (3) increased taxes. The recession coming next year will be the result of a combination of all three of those forces in combination with stagflation. Ugly.

177 days into the DM’s Coup, eventually, we will know all the facts. Pray for the patriot attorney in Antrim County, Michigan who called for the Secretary of State to resign or be impeached and the election to be De-Certified. Another county in Michigan has voted to audit its election. Interesting that the Michigan GOP is reported to have issued a statement that no fraud occurred in the election. The data suggest the opposite is correct, so one has to wonder who is owned by whom.

Keep watching the Arizona Audit. The Secretary of State in Georgia decided to investigate the chain of custody of some of the mail in ballots to CYA. As the election audits spread and the terabytes of information from Mr. Dong bubble, you can smell the fear of the DMs.

A great piece of land remains The Best investment long term. Capitalism builds wealth, Marxism/Socialism consumes it in self destruction. Pray for a return to honest and audited elections in the USA. God is in control. Men make plans, but God ALWAYS wins.
