Fucked up how lizards’ tails work I wish they didn’t

#the klock keeps ticking #i found my long lost lizard friend today #on friday this lizard mustve got in i named him sebastian i tried to catch him and get him back outside #he ran very scary and fast away and i started crying and he went down the stairs and i lost him #and i just accepted that he lives here now and will probably give birth to many babies probably #then like an hour ago i was literally just thinking about him and guess who i see in the kitchen!!! #sebastian!!! mr lizard himself!!! #we both panic he goes under the dishwasher which is very scary and dusty #i crouch down with a flashlight and i got a bowl and broom ready i await his return #my dad comes home to this and we try to use the broom to get him out but no dice #then just now my dad yells for me to come the lizard hath escaped!!! #and i dropped the bowl on him and hnnghhh his tail didnt make in under in time #it got chopped off we throw mr sebastian outside and i just #i hate how the tail still wiggles around like that like why must you scare me further #but whatever sebastian is gone and one of his friends will probably be here tomorrow cuz lizards love being here and scaring me 🥺
