you've probably explained this before but how did you decide on may 2nd for belle's birthday? i believe the closest thing there is to an "official" birthday for the animated belle at least is this one book called disneystrology that has a bunch of disney character birthdays and it says may 6th for her, but i honestly doubt that much thought was put into it (after all, it literally has a different character for every single day of the year in it) so i sort of just ignore that book and come up with my own headcanons haha. also, when do you think adam's birthday is?

honestly purely based on vibes lmao. she’s such a sunny gal to me so i knew it had to be in spring/summer. and for whatever reason, may 2nd just sounded right!! i genuinely cannot believe i’m not even that far off from that book LMAO. i’ve never heard of that but that is a fun little thing!

adam’s birthday is august 26th! this was also just based on vibes. it contrasts my other vibe detector, because i don’t think anyone really considers adam to be a “summer” kind of guy, lol. but i don’t know! when i was thinking about what his birthday should be, that’s where my mind landed! i know my synesthesia plays a role in birthday hunting. “august” and “adam” are both mostly the color red, and 26 is red & yellow. and adam is like, red and the d is yellow. this sounds insane maybe but that’s what’s going on in my head!!

i’d say the color thing has chosen Most of my birthdays. like for adam & belle’s children and my other oc’s. but sometimes it’s just… where my mind lands. belle’s father maurice’s birthday is february 8th for literally no reason other than yeah! that’s when his birthday is! i think lore just gets downloaded in my head like an automatic microsoft windows desktop update.
