It was a rocky night for a baby raccoon after police in Ontario say they found the young critter in the car of an impaired driver.

Ontario Provincial Police tweeted Wednesday that officers arrested a man for allegedly operating a vehicle while impaired in Huntsville, Ont., approximately 225 kilometres north of Toronto.

The 39-year-old from South River has been charged with operation while impaired, two counts of breach of conditions and having cannabis readily available.

Police say they made the arrest after members of the public reported the driver.

The raccoon is now on its way to the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. [...]

Conversations 2 Spring 2023 | Huntsville Alabama Film Notes: This photo was "shot from the hip" an all but the literal sense of the phrase, from under my arm, really. I have a tendency to walk to fast when out taking pictures. But also wish not to make a spectacle of myself. I guessed the distance and it was wrong, so the picture is out of focus, but to me that works. It makes it- I won't say better- but just not the same, it changes the mood and brings feelings that a sharply focused picture wouldn't or even couldn't bring.

"This photograph shows F-1 engines being stored in the F-1 Engine Preparation Shop, building 4666, at the Marshall Space Flight Center. Each F-1 engine produced a thrust of 1,500,000 pounds. A cluster of five engines was mounted on the thrust structure of the S-IC stage of a 364-foot long Saturn V launch vehicle that ultimately took astronauts to the Moon."

Jeudi matin, réveil à Huntsville avec le soleil.

Petit dej’ dans une très bonne boulangerie. A $4 le croissant, ça peut être bon ! Il y font des cruffins : croissant-muffin. Je vous laisse imaginer ce que vous voulez.

J’ai profité du soleil avant de rouler vers le sud. J’ai fait une pause à Noccalula Falls, AL avant d’arriver chez Tim.

Les 4 chiens m’ont fait une mega fête d’aboiements. Le gros chat Luigi a débarqué aussi et les 2 plus petits chats trop adorables, des mini félins qui sautent partout mais ronronnent dès que tu les approches… Dartagnan et Daniel sont arrivés ensuite. Tim m’a montré ses 13 poules et son coq. Il fait des câlins à ses poules alors certaines attendent devant ses pieds. Et ça donne une collection d’œufs multicolores, des blancs, des bleus, des roses, des marrons tachetés de blanc. Tim fait cohabiter tout le monde, chiens et chats même dans la maison !
