500 special part 2: hunger in bed

Warning for character skipping meals (unintentionally), teasing and hunger, cheesy use of pet names

“Yep, power is not going to be back on for a while.” A says as they click their phone off with one hand while the lighting a candle with the other. A gets up and smiles, looking over at B. “Guess we are going to have to wait a little to head out for dinner out, huh?”

B sits on the edge of the bed with a huff and crosses their arms, “Why?” B doesn’t mean to come off rudely, but truth be told, B hasn’t eaten all day and their dinner reservation was their ticket to rescuing their stomach from its empty churning.

“Why? We can’t leave until the power is back on, it’s not safe to drive in the dark” A replies a little confused. They sit on the bed next to B to grab B’s face to look at them. “What’s with the face, sweetheart, you still get to spend time with me tonight.”

B feels their stomach muscles tighten unpleasantly like it’s going to growl, but no pressure gets relieved. Their tummy has been like that all day. It wasn’t like B didn’t eat on purpose. B had dinner early last night yet somehow still accidentally slept in so they missed breakfast and then as a consequence in they were nearly late to work and ended up forgetting to bring lunch with them. On top of that, conveniently, B forgot their phone and wallet to buy anything during their breaks and once B got home, they were too busy getting ready for their date. All day, their mouth has been watering, thinking of dinner like a reward for making it through the day.

Lost in thought, B didn’t realise their stomach muscles finally loosen until they feel a rumble through their ribs with a a short but audible grumble. Their stomach instinctively clenches again in after the sound.

“Was that your stomach?” A asks.

“I-“ B doesn’t know how to respond before a little lower in their left side another rumble issues, and they clasp a hand to their gut to cover it with a blush.

A moves closer with a little concern in their voice. “Woah, you sound really hungry.”

“I haven’t eaten in a while.” B shrugs defensively. Rubbing their hand across their belly.

“How long is a while?” A arches on of their eyebrows.

With a little shame, B responds “All day.”

A suddenly lays B down and leans over them in concern. “All day, why?” A puts their hand on B’s stomach.

B realises how embarrassing it is now to admit all their little mistakes that have led to one empty unhappy tummy. B quickly says sheepishly, “Late to work, no time to eat, forget lunch, forgot phone and wallet to pay for lunch, had to get ready.”

A looks down at B with concern and mild amusement. “You know you can’t starve your poor belly like that.” A says with a little more of a tease and squeezes their tummy a little, prompting their tummy to admit a quick humble growl. A moves lays their head onto to B’s stomach. A says with fake wonder, “Oh, I think I can hear the next one coming.”

“Can you stop teasing me” B complains in a whine like matter. They try to push A’s face away before their stomach has chance to make any noise again.

“Oh darling, this is just the consequence of neglecting yourself.” A smirks. They squeeze B’s lower belly gently again.

“Isn’t that right.” A says in response to a deeper groan like sound.

“Actually stop it”

“Or what?”

B stomach growls again, a higher pitched sound that sounds like it’s being squeezed at the end. B’s head dips in embarrassment.

“Thought so” A puts their hand back onto B’s stomach under their rib. “Wow, I can really feel them building up in there, do they hurt?” A’s ask and moves their hand back and forward against B’s abdomen. B shakes their head to not worry A.

“You sure…. You do sound bad?” A sighs now just leaving their hand motionless and spreading their fingers out instead feeling a silent vibration under their palm.

“Only the ones near my ribs” B comes clean as another pocket near their ribs tightly rumbles.

“See you can’t do this to yourself, darling, even if it’s just a day.” A leans over to boop B noise in concern and to annoy them.

“You could have told me you haven’t eaten today, I would have brought you something to eat before dinner, now look at your poor tummy.” A mock coos at the end.

“It’s okay, really.” B cringes at their belly whining in response.

“It’s not okay when your stomach is moaning at me.” A lightly scolds then breaks into a smile.

“Hopefully the power won’t take too long” B says hopefully, B’s voice breaks at the end in time for the lights above to flick on.

“Oh, powers back on,” A looks up to the lights before B stomach grumbles again and A squeezes it “Someone’s eager.”

Having a mostly quiet tummy and a hunger kink simultaneously sucks.

Unless I'm actively busting my ass off and doing something, it's barely a peep. I'll be starving, alone in my room, and nothing. In a louder environment, I'll feel these HUGE rumbles and I know that the sound mixed with the feeling would get me going.

For example, I went to a baseball game today. I had to do a lot of walking to get to the stadium and my seat, and since I had only had two muffins and an energy drink earlier in the day, I was empty. I didn't know how hungry I was until I sat in my seat.

A couple minutes after I sat down, 2 short rumbles followed by a long one erupted from my tummy. Since the stadium was nearly full, I didn't hear a lick of it, but the feeling was amazing. I got a lunch a little afterwards since I'm nervous about being hungry in public, and it felt so good to eat again.

But here I am in bed, having not eaten for over 6 hours, feeling empty, and not a sound.

An immortal being decides to stop eating anything since they can't die anyway only to realize that the pain that comes with hunger is kinda sucks

'Maybe this was a mistake' they think as they lay flat out with their stomach howling painfully. They don't remember when they last bothered to eat, but man is starving way more painful than they expected considering it can't even kill them. here’s some that have been on my mind recently :)

Tw/cw: hunger, mentions of skipping meals, food mentions

1. Character hasn't had a chance to eat all day and suddenly has to drive through the night and wants to get there as quickly as they can, so they refuse to make a stop to get something to eat. During the night the pain of hunger gets to much or the hungry growls are getting distracting, so they finally bring themselves to pull over to a service station but they only thing they can afford is a soda, not knowing that soda can make hunger growls worse.

2. Or alternatively to that the character keeps having those hunger pangs that build up with little to no relief, and it’s getting worse so with the last couple of dollars they have, they buy themselves a soft drink to purposely get their stomach to growl for a little relief.

3. A fantasy character going on a quest and only has a very small amount of food that they are saving until they desperately need it or in case they run into someone that needs it more. Every day their tummy gets louder and more unforgiving with it’s rumbling (and all the other effects of hunger), but the character still insists on saving the food, but the temptation is right there, in their bag, constantly taunting their empty tummy.

4. Model/celebrity doing a promo shoot and isn’t allowed to eat until after the photo shoot so they don’t get bloated and the catering table is set up right in the view from the corner of their eye. They have to try ignore it so their stomach doesn’t awkwardly or ‘unprofessionally’ grumble but they can constantly see and smell the food. (Also a little bonus if all the staff in the room are already eating, especially the camera person or they are given poses that make it harder to cover their grumbling stomach.

5. A is the type to push themselves to hold off eating until they are finished their task, unless B is there to remind them it’s okay to put themselves first, but B isn’t around today and A has that hollow feeling in their gut but also has a couple more hours of work left to complete.

what if the gamer guy eventually switches off the game and puts the mic to his rumbling belly 👀

Hehe, maybe if his friends pointed out that they could hear his belly.

He forgets that his microphone is programmed to pick up even the faintest noise, so when his tummy starts those little gurgles to get his attention, he doesn't think of it much at first.

Then it starts escalating to quiet grumbles, then to low rumbles, and he starts getting a bit nervous that they're loud enough to hear. Nobody has said anything yet, though, so he's sure that nobody can hear or nobody has noticed.

That is until his belly lets out a vicious, ravenous growl that makes him freeze in place, as there is no way that they didn't hear that.

"I was wondering whose stomach that was." Someone finally pipes up.

He goes beet red, the rest of his team ask him if he's okay.

"Oh, I'm just a little hungry..." He mutters, hoping they'll drop the subject.

But his stomach grumbles again angrily, as if it can't believe what he's saying and is tired of being ignored.

"That didn't sound like a little!"

He goes back to what he's doing in game, but with everyone giggling over his talkative tummy, his hunger is just that much harder to ignore. He switches off the game, needing both hands to try to calm his tummy, thinking of just getting up and leaving entirely.

"Aww, it's kind of cute. It's like it wants to talk to us!"

He's a bit surprised at that, and he's strangely compelled to grab his microphone, moving it closer to his belly, which rumbles again in protest.

The rest of the gaming session is spent like this, with him prodding different spots of his tummy to get it to growl. At this point, it doesn't feel embarrassing or uncomfortable anymore. With how much his friends are enjoying it he's found himself enamored with his own hunger.

Maybe a bit too much, as he looks down to find that his stomach isn't the only thing that's worked up.

Did I forget something...?

So I have the day off and I decided to do a bunch of straightening up.

This was after my usual routine of a 3 mile run, core work and yoga. All of that lasted from about 7:30 to 10:00, and I spent the last 3 hours straightening up.

I tend to get in the zone when organizing so I was focused on only that. So, as I was surveying the finished product, I found myself thinking "I forgot something...what did I forg-?"

Oh....yeah, breakfast...
