when you're arguing with some large bureaucratic/corporate system, you're supposed to CALL or meet them IN PERSON so you can articulate your demands and basically not leave until they help you as much as they can

but that's SO SCARY and I keep forgetting to practice and psych myself up for it, so I just sent a thorough, polite, assertive, proactive email to the grad office that made it sound like I was only trying to help THEM find my transcripts, and if they could wouldtheypleaseliftmyhold???
