very bold of the movie industry to keep greenlighting million dollar garbage and then put no classic shows and movies on streaming services

#last movie i bought was a digital copy of lotr bc i don't want to risk ripping the beautiful box set and ruining it somehow #also i don't have a disc drive 😔 #honestly might get an external disc drive so i can rip movies #i used to rip music but something about doing it with movies is a little intimidating #skelly speaks #don't buy movies unless they're physical and you really love them #the people behind them are either living comfortably or don't see a cent of the profit #I'm gonna buy the rights to the thing and co-own it with john carpenter #idk why I've started caring about movies again this year i think it's bc of dbd #i only care about a small selection of movies i don't care about new releases anymore for the most part #this isn't like a call to action just know i am watching the industry trends from my crystal tower in the sky & waiting for the collapse 😈
