Slider was... Feeling a lot of things at the moment. Frustration, fear, and a lot of confusion to name a few. Something... Had happened, something bad to him. He thinks. He's not even sure of that. His memory feels like a disk that keeps skipping your favorite part of the song. He remembered seemingly random things. His name, favorite color, what he ate for dinner two weeks ago, but besides that it was pretty blank.

He'd woken up in a chair in a garage to several people yelling at each other, something about programs and deleting the wrong thing? All he knew is he felt incredibly stressed out and wanted away from them. Bolting for the side door he stumbled into the light of the sun and looked out at the landscape he had no memory of.

Realizing the angry Borgs weren't far behind, Slider stumbled forward and kept running until he couldn't hear their shouts anymore, then just for a bit longer. Pausing to try and catch his breath, Slider looked around and realized he was being stared at. Shooting the nearest person an unsure smile and wave he called out. "Hey! Um- any chance I could borrow your phone or-" He didn't even get to finish his sentence as the person hurried off. Ok? Weird. He tried talking to three more people, each rejecting or ignoring him before he finally gave up and plopped on the edge of the street curb looking a tad annoyed. Why were people here so rude? Not like it mattered... Who was he going to call? He couldn't even remember anyone's names let alone a number.

Glancing up, Slider realized someone was talking to him. Zoning back in, Slider took in a short orange being with a hat staring back at him. What did she want? What was this her spot or something? Standing up, Slider let out a Huff. "No, no, it's fine! I'll move!" He grumbled despite not even hearing the being's question.

"there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people." van gogh had a brother, theo, who loved him very much. theo and his wife jo supported vincent for many years, and it was actually jo who kept vincent's legacy alive and is the reason he's famous now. they had a son that they named after vincent, and so van gogh painted the almond blossoms for his new nephew. you are a deeply gentle and caring person - even when the world gives you every excuse not to be. not only has love kept you alive, but it is your love that keeps everyone around you afloat. you mean more to people than you could ever know.

the sunflowers

"i'd like to paint in such a way that... everyone who has eyes could understand it." there was a series of these paintings of sunflowers. van gogh was heavily praised for them by those he knew. to him, they felt like they were his mark. like they were truly his own. you often feel the same need to stand out and be remembered for something. you're an individualist through and through, and you're determined to make your own mark. you have so much courage, so much passion, and so much determination. but let me tell you a secret: you don't have to fight to be important. you already are.
