HC that in the NSpidR world, Miguel basically took over Alchemax to make Nueva York (he was a scientist there in the OG comics, just like Liv and Jonathan)
Oh neat. Maybe! I somehow forgot about Alchemax lol.
Maybe instead of taking over it, the two became partner companies or something like that. Similar to how J-1 Robotics is partnered with a cybernetics company, or something like that.
Alchemax is where all the very delicate research on power samples and power-reducing tech is done and created. While Nueva York is where the therapy and housing (basically everything else) happens.
Miguel would still be the CEO of both, but probably has another person running the intricacies of Alchemax. I don't see that person being Liv because she would want to be in the researching area, not the one running the shots, and Jonathan I always saw as under Liv in the hierarchical ladder so that also keeps him from being the one running Alchemax.
Actually, just looked it up and found out that Olivia is the founder of Alchemax! Neat! Though I like her kinda being like the secret leader of the company and not really the face of it. That's probably why I think Miguel being the face of both Nueva York and Alchemax would work out really well.
I was going to say that Kingpin could be the head of Alchemax, but then I saw that he has his own company Fisk Industries. I think his company is a holding company in canon which, and I might be wrong here, is like a parent company that completely or partially owns another business as well as stock and stuff like that.
I kinda prefer the idea that Fisk Industries is more like a distributor or a warehouse company than a holding company. No matter what, it is a powerful company with a lot of money to it (probably because it is still definitely a front for a criminal organization in this AU lol).
So like, Vandelay Tech makes special parts, technology, robots and stuff like that, which is then bought by companies like Fisk Industries to store until they get shipped out to customers or brick-and-mortar stores (the cybernetics are done by Vandelay Tech themselves in house and are not distributed).
From there Fisk Industries distributes that stuff to other companies, stores, directly to customers. One of these being Alchemax, which gets specially designed parts and machinery that Vandelay Tech makes, but it's cheaper to buy that stuff through Fisk Industries than directly from the manufacturer (because Kale wants to make a big profit by jacking up the price legally and Wilson is willing to lower prices in some kind of laundering/crime scheme that makes him money illegally).
With the tech/parts/machines from Vandelay/Fisk, Alchemax can create highly specialized tech that relates to reducing powers in people as well as have the tools to do proper research to keep Nueva York running and showing progress to continue getting funding.
Loved talking about this a lot honestly! It's been a bit since I thought about the distribution process of goods from manufacturer to consumer. This also helped me round out more of the area and how some companies are connected together even if they don't seem like they should be.
Honestly, Psychonauts probably gets their parts from Fisk Industries as well. At least if they don't know that there is a crime ring attached to the company, otherwise they would try and get things directly from Vandelay Tech (even if it is pricier, but then the Tech Revolution happens and now Psychonauts aren't sure if they want to continue relations with them either and might have to look to overseas manufacturers for the parts needed for psychic machinery).
NSR and J-1 are definitely working together to supply each other with power, funding, and qwasa tech. NSR would technicaly be the holding company in this part of the world, with J-1 being a manufacturer. There wouldn't be a need for a middleman distributor for J-1 and NSR working together, but J-1 does have distributors for its toys and other products for the average consumer (the cybernetics company owned or partnered with J-1 is not supplying NSR directly, but it does have NSR's interest to think about in order to keep its funding/continue working).
Now I just need to figure out how the companies in Europe work together. Especially the UK Robotics company (I really need to start thinking of names for these companies lol).

Heyo Eri :3
I see you've taken an interest of my NSR fan kiddies aka Burning Constellation and the OFA Rockstars becoming villians aka L.O.V.E. So I've come to ask on what you think the reactions of everyone such as the main NSR Cast, Nueva York, Vandelay, and even the Psychonauts would be when L.O.V.E forms and starts causing havoc everywhere. It's mainly Burning Constellation who starts causing mayhem by launching an attack that destroys the NSR Tower aka Orion doing what her dad Kliff did and drops a satellite on it only this time the satellite hits the Tower and causes a lot of damage, plus they also steal the Grand Qwasa- (I'm sure Kliff would be proud of his daughter LOL-)
Then all the OFA Artists join L.O.V.E after becoming villains themselves so now it's getting out of control to where Titanium has to call in help so she would call in the 4 main groups mentioned. How would they go about to defeat the L.O.V.E villains? Would they try to take them out one by one in order of the OFA Rockstars (Henrick being the first, Rosie second, Prince Astral third, CAL forth, Jodie fifth, and Burning Constellation last?) Or would they lure them into a trap and them battle them all at once?
I apologize for this ask being quite lengthy, I'm really down the rabbit hole of my silly group of villains-
For the NSR characters, it depends on if the tower was empty or not (also I don't know all about your AU, I keep forgetting with my terrible memory, so I don't know who's still alive or still working for NSR at this point in time so I'll keep it vague lol).
If it's empty, like they were able to evacuate in time, the destruction of NSR tower would be devastating but not too bad. If it was full, then L.O.V.E. would be seen as absolute monsters and murderers. They would be hated by a large majority of Vinyl City and probably the NSR cast as well (imagine if Titanium was IN the tower when the satellite hit, we'd need a new leader of Vinyl City then, but since she's the one who calls for help she most likely survives).
Stealing the Grand Qwasa (which sounds so funny to me lol) would be devastating as well since most, if not all, of the power in Vinyl City is now gone. People would die from hospitals not being powered and flooding as machines to keep flooding down are now not being powered at all. Not to mention the whole structure of the city is being thrown all over the place because of the chaos. L.O.V.E. would be despised by the citizens of Vinyl City.
As for the retaliation itself, I don't think NSR would have means of fighting L.O.V.E.. I don't know about your version of NSR, but mine wouldn't have the security to go against a whole villainous organization, which is probably why Titanium tries asking for help.
I doubt Vandelay Tech would do anything. They are just a tech company, not really out there looking to save the world. I'm sure they could offer some security robots, but honestly I doubt they would actually even have any more of those at this point since those types of robots were more Kale's doing and not something Roxanne or Peppermint would have kept going. I can see them sending robots that specialize in care and help to Vinyl City during this time though.
Psychonauts and Nueva York. Those are two organizations that would help Titanium (if they are still around. I definitely think Psychonauts would still be around, but not so sure if Nueva York would have been able to stand the test of time).
With the Psychonauts, they usually only deal with psychic battles, however, they would absolutely be willing to help stop this organization considering they've HAD to have killed some people. I don't know how much of the OG adult cast from Psychonauts would be around (the Psychic 7 are long dead by this point, as are people like Milla and Sasha being very old or dead by this point), I think Raz would be around still, but I don't know if she would still be an active member of the Psychonauts (since she'd be like... idk 50+ at this point, but she could definitely still be kicking ass lol).
Either way, whatever Psychonauts are around would be willing and ready to help try and stop L.O.V.E. at all costs. Using their psychic powers and advanced tech at this point would definitely help them as they track down and get ready to fight L.O.V.E.
Nuvea York is a tricky one. Because, if the Power Revolution worked and stuck true to the core of Nueva York, then that organization wouldn't really be used in this situation. Nueva York at this point is about helping people learn to control their powers, nothing more and nothing less.
Other organizations would have been made to help rehabilitate people using their powers for evil, or to hold people with powers who would have been able to escape captivity after committing a crime, but Nueva York would not be one of them. So whatever other organization is used to help detain and stop people from using their powers purposefully for evil would be called instead (the people of Nueva York would probably not like L.O.V.E. though, considering what they have already done to Vinyl City).
As for HOW L.O.V.E. would be captured, I think the Psychonauts and Power Organization (don't know what else to call it) wouldn't really work together right off the bat. They each have their own methods for dealing and capturing enemies, so they would rather work alone. They'd both also wait until L.O.V.E. commits some kind of crime, maybe try to set up a situation that would attract L.O.V.E., but for the first few tries they would rather try and get L.O.V.E. to commit their own crimes at first and try and stop them at the scene.
I can see it being kinda comical if you want to go that way, where Power Organization and Psychonauts make each other fail a few times and they have a little rivalry going on until something super serious happens and that's when the two groups start to work together and actually coordinate instead of almost actively sabotaging each other.
The order of capture would also depend on how L.O.V.E. operates itself. Do they usually attack in groups or by themselves with only some attacks being group/partner work. If it's single work with sometime having group/partner work, then Psychonauts and PO would do their best to get crimes that are committed by more than one person. But if they only capture one then that's fine as then they can use methods like going into the person's brain (or I guess code for CAL if I remember correctly) to look for the location of L.O.V.E.'s headquarters or base of operations.
If it's group work, then the Psychonauts and PO would do their best to try and capture everyone at once. I can see something going wrong and one person from L.O.V.E. escaping, and now the two organizations have to worry about them breaking out the rest of L.O.V.E. or something.
It could also be that L.O.V.E. ends up never getting caught because of reasons like they are too good at evading capture or are too ruthless that even if they were almost caught, the casualties were too great for their pursuers that they were able to escape each time.
I don't know how serious or dark you want to take this villainous version of characters, but depending on the intensity you could get really dark with it or make it really comical!

Wait “investors”? Ohhh boy
*looks at NSR, Fisk Industries, Vandelay, and the Gojo clan*
it’s going to be a MASSIVE showdown
Oh yes! Investors!
I don't know if the other ask where I go a bit more in depth in investors is out yet, but yes, Nueva York is mainly privately funded. (I don't think there is any government funding for Nueva York, at least not right now, so investors and donations are the main payroll for Nueva York. I think some government funding is there for Alchemax, but not for Nueva York directly).
Fun fact (if it hasn't already come out), but Neon J is actually an investor in Nueva York! He thought it was a good company that helped people, he had no idea what it truly did (just enough to warrant him giving generous donations).
Vandelay I don't think is an investor in Nueva York. They are more like a business that Alchemax/Nueva York buys stuff from. If anything, I can see Miguel either being an investor or having stock in Vandelay Tech than the other way around.
The Gojo clan are definitely investors into Nueva York. Only getting upset and pulling their finances (and possibly wanting to sue) once they realize Nueva York isn't a conversion therapy place.
NSR itself is NOT an investor in Nueva York at all, and I don't THINK there are a lot of investors for NSR. Personally I see NSR as a kinda government-funded private business. It definitely could have investors, but mainly it gets its resources from the government and the people/fans.
I'll be honest though, I don't know all that much about stock and investors, so I'm kinda talking out of my ass at this point. I'll do more research at some point (especially since my work gives me stock, so I should look more into that). But yea, Nueva York definitely has investors that it has to keep happy!

I think some people would be bitter about the Nueva York Revolution because to them, it looks like "privileged" individuals with strong powers throwing a tantrum
(Olivia Octavius being one of them)
Oh abso-fucking-lutely! That is ENTIRELY what some people think!
It's the same with the Rock Revolution! So many people probably think B2J were just trowing a tantrum because they didn't get picked for a Lights Up Audition! The same thing would be said about the Power Revolution!
However! I do think more people would be a bit more sympathetic to the Arachnikids once they came out with how they were treated while inside Nueva York. Plus other people who graduated the program, or didn't graduate but used the Go Home Machine, would also have stuff to say about how Miguel and company treated the residents.
There would definitely be people, those who graduated the program perfectly fine or staff members, that think it's just a tantrum, but I think more people would be on the side of the revolutionist in this specific case.
B2J? No, there are a lot more people saying they through a tantrum and it was pure luck that they ended up with a happy ending. Even if B2J made it more clear to the public they were doing it for the power and the people (because they never said that publicly I'm pretty sure, just to Tatiana and maybe referenced on Zam FM), I think there would still be plenty of people who think they did it for a lot more selfish reasons and not actually for the people.
Miles and Co. on the other hand had more reasons for their actions that people could sympathize with and support. Even if they didn't know the whole story, even hearing rumors that these kids might have been mistreated is more something people can get behind than B2J's rumor of rock being more powerful than EDM.
Now a revolution that would have more supporters than haters would actually be the Tech Revolution at Vandelay Tech.! The revolution was a lot more internal and barely got out of the upper circles until the very end. Those who did know were probably robots and some human staff members (the few that weren't the bosses).
It was mostly a silent revolution until Mimosa's fight and the closing of the campus. I doubt Kale or Roquefort actually talked to the press since that was Mimosa's job. People were left in the dark and probably a little bit scared with the shut down.
It wasn't until Kale's giant robot fight that people were terrified and only after the actual Kale fight that the public got to know what happened. How Kale mind controlled his own mother and tried to kill an innocent person who was "defected" by the machines Kale created. Like, technically, Chai is a victim in all of this because he basically just wanted health care that will better his living situation and was then attacked because the company's own machinery fucked up his surgery.
People were rooting for Chai and friends once all of this came out to light. I doubt people other than "friends" of Kale would be saying Chai deserved to die. Especially if Roxanne came back into the picture and made Vandelay Tech a company that actually had the customer's interest in mind and wasn't just after profits.
So yeah, funnily enough, the three revolutions progress from most public and hated to least public and loved!

Imagine the three revolutions (NSR, Nueva York, Valandey Technologies) being called "The Music Revolutions" because all of them had music blaring during it
(And people bashing CEOs with guitars)
(Miles and Co played some tracks to coordinate their fight more smoothly)
I have no idea why! But all I can think of is the Arachnikids fighting to Smash Mouth's All Star! I don't know why and know that it is not the song they would fight to! But damn it! It would be so funny!
Anyway, what would be cool is if the music followed Gwen and Hobie because they already had some kind of history with music. Like how Eve and Tatiana don't need instruments to make their music? It just plays around them (which is obviously for the audience, and Eve could be using her illusion powers, but I like the idea that you can make your own music naturally with enough power).
Like, all I can think of is Gwen and Hobie were able to bring the music to the fight (maybe Hobie even stole some NSR drumsticks from the music room for Gwen for the fight during one of its guitar practices), but the music evolves for everyone fighting on their side.
Really, all I can see in my head, is Gwen kicking someone to the tune of alt rock ballet music. It is more ballet as Gwen runs up to whoever she is kicking, and then as she kicks the drums come in hot and heavy! It turns to a kind of symphonic rock/metal and alternates to like some pop and EDM as different people attack and blend there powers together (if Ganke's in the fight it's more like EDM and when he attacks or helps and attack it's like a bass drop).
I don't think something like this could be recorded, not in the same way we as an audience would see it through a screen or something. But you are right that music would definitely help the Miles' and company's revolution.
Because remember, this is still the world of NSR (and Hi Fi Rush), which are music based worlds. So using music directly in a fight, especially a revolution, is something that isn't really heard of but absolutely possible. Before, music would be used to power weapons, robots, tools, machinery. It wasn't used to directly fight people until... honestly until the NSR Revolution most likely!
Sure you could always smack someone with a guitar or something, but making flying music notes or using music to amplify your powers directly? That is not something seen a lot in fights. Before, especially in mainstream media of this world, you either used music to power an item to fight or you used your own powers to fight. Not both.
So honestly, yeah! I think you are right about what these revolutions together would be called! The Music Revolutions would be a perfect name for a new era where music and powers coexist in a more intertwined connection! I actually really like this idea, thank you!
[Also, honestly, I wouldn't mind stealing that as a name for this combined AU. Instead of just Spiderverse and NSR alone, which I think NSspidR is a perfect name for, when I combine Spiderverse, Hi Fi Rush, NSR, and Psychonauts together, The Music Revolution would be a really good name!
Could even shorten it to TMR AU. Apparently TMR in it's most standard form just means tomorrow.... Nevermind! TMR also means The Maze Runner! Damn, well, the Music Revolution by itself is also just a good name. Idk, just gonna stick to NSpidR for right now, but i might add on Music Revolution or something like that with asks that also end up talking about Hi Fi Rush and Psychonauts along with NSR and Spiderverse]

In the NSR multiverse of yours, B2J, Miles and co, and Chai and co are going to become textbook figures. And it’s funny to me. (One revolution is about how power is made in the world, one is about how the treatment of some powered individuals, one is about ethical use of technology)
Oh yeah! I have this idea that's it's gonna be called something like "The Age of Modern Revolution," "The Decade of Change" or something like that. Similar to how the 100 Years' War was called something else closer to the time it happened, but as we got farther from that time period we condensed the time period together into just the 100 Years' War.
It's gonna be a wild time in history and honestly the tests are probably gonna be so annoying to take. I've had teachers need us to memorize every important person's name in a chapter, so like, with NSR that's at least 9 names (could be more if you count individuals like 1010, Sayu's Crew, and Catherine), for Hi Fi Rush it's about 10 (not counting any of the robots who you might have to know and might get points taken off if you mess up their name like Oskar, 05-K4R, or O5-CAR are some ways people might write o5-KAR), and then Nueva York can have like well over 10 names depending on who helps the revolution.
As someone who is shit with names, they would be so difficult for me to remember if it was in a history class. That's not even counting dates, because with how close the dates are (or might be) inside the revolution would mean teachers would want exact dates. Like Chai probably got his revolution done in about a week or something like that, so you'd have to know what date he went after what executive while with Nueva York, you could probably get away with saying something like "in XX month, Miles arrived at Nueva York."
Looking at these revolutions from a history standpoint has to be really interesting honestly. Especially for people who lived through the revolutions and saw how things changed first hand in a relatively quick time period.
This isn't even mentioning Psychonauts. I have a feeling people would know the name Razputin Aquato and other Psychonauts, but not how any of them look. It would all mainly be artistic renderings and not photographs. This would be a vast difference from the other revolutions which have a lot of media cover, social posts, and photographs. The Psychonauts would only have art for their history books, at least for active Psychonauts, so privacy is kept and people can't just see someone like Milla Vodello in the streets and approach her, possibly blowing her cover.
Now all I can imagine is Psychonauts, or just psychics in general, with like instagram or tiktok showing off their powers. Especially if they have a psychic camera or whatever it's called (Otto-cam? something like that) and show people the inside of people's minds (obviously with permission from the patient/mind holder).

What sort of careers would the arachnikids choose when they grow up (NSpideR AU)?
(I can’t get the mental image of Miles as a physics/art teacher)
(Or Gwen as a ballet teacher/drummer)
Since this is the NSR world, they would all most likely have something to do with the arts. Either music, art, entertainment, something like that is the most probably career to make the most money in this world and is a lot more fun/easy for the average person compared to jobs related to tech or something like that.
Though obviously I doubt every one of the arachnikids would take up a job in the arts. Like Miles probably does still have some affinity for science and tech. I don't have any great ideas, so I'll give suggestions and vague answers/career overviews.
Miles I can see as trying to do something similar to Miguel but in an actual helpful way. Either that or going into a science field that he can use his powers to help him. Maybe researching powers like Olivia (not in the way she researched, but like the fact she was researching powers at all) or using his art/color powers to document certain things in books (Plus he could be in a band with Gwen if he wanted).
Gwen I can see being an actual ballet performer, not a teacher. She would also be in a band with Miles (maybe Hobie). I don't really have any other ideas for note at this moment.
Pav, funnily enough, I don't know why but I can see him being a stay-at-home boyfriend lol. Like he would somehow have an income, maybe performing tricks or being like an influence (like I can see him having a yo-yo platform where he shows off tricks and stuff which makes him a bit of money over time) but he mainly takes care of the house while Gayatri works (I do see them staying together).
Gayatri probably stays as a model but goes more into fashion later on. I like the idea that her and Celine do constant collaborations which sometimes brings Eve into the mix (though Gaya tries to limit her business interactions with Eve so people don't think she is using Pav's relation to her to get ahead in life, even though at this point she's pretty well established).
Hobie is an indie artist. Makes enough money for it to live comfortably since Hobie doesn't have a very expensive lifestyle. Playing their guitar and not being told what to do (other than to have permits to play or the speed to outrun whoever is trying to stop it) is what Hobie would want in life. Heck, maybe Hobie joins Ex-Jay either permanently or just for collabs (three guitars in one band is something I think a few bands do, it's pretty cool the ones I've seen and I think they could make it work). I think Hobie would rather just collab with Ex-Jay than fully join them though because at this point they would be NSRtists and I doubt Hobie would ever want to join NSR no matter how much progress the company has made.
Margo and Peni go into tech fields. Margo I can see going into the field that Sayu and Crew are in. Virtual reality stuff. Margo could literally bypass having to code things by being in the code/virtual space and actually being able to touch and move stuff without it being programmed in. So Margo would be pretty indispensable along with one of the only people who could do that on her team (without having whatever special thing B2J had to go into Sayu's space. It is possible for people to go into virtual spaces, but Margo has a significantly easier time doing so). She probably wouldn't work with Sayu and Crew, at least not on the regular. I can see the Crew sometimes contacting Margo when something HUGE goes wrong and they need it fixed in a very short amount of time (like a few hours before a show starts).
Peni on the other hand goes fully into the tech scene and works with cybertech and biotech. Probably working in one of Neon J's companies, or at lest one that is connected to them. Kit could also work a bit with Vandelay Tech since Roxanne would be back in charge (or Peppermint would depending on if Roxanne is still around at this time) and Vandelay would be a much better company to work for. Honestly if kit wanted to work for Psychonauts kit could, especially in helping work with anti-psychic defenses. Peni might not be a psychic herself, but she knows tech and can help Gisu with inventions and stuff.
Noir.... hmmmm. I don't know really. I'm sure if I knew their comics a bit more I could think of something, but the only thing I can really think of is something related to a Rubik's cube but that's only because of the movie Noir having a deep fascination with them lol. I actually doubt Noir would do anything related to their color depletion. Maybe they go into sailing competitions (like the one on surfboards, not actual boats) because of their wind power lol (and then get kicked because of their wind powers not being allowed but they still do the sailing recreationally).
I can see Peter Porker going into either a science field or animation. Actually, let Peter Porker be a photographer! I feel like that fits him best, considering that was his actual job in the comics lol (or at least the movie). It would be funny if he ended up being one of the paparazzi for some of the Megastars. The science or animation field are also things I can see him going into though.
I feel like I'm forgetting someone but I can't really think of who.

Do you think in the Earth-42/FRAU world, there would be more oppression against powered individuals/elementals? That would explain the world going to shit...
Nope, it would be about the same, even less so than the OG NSpidR AU because it's not people with powers that stopped B2J, it's robots.
So what would happen is that the FRAU would actually affect Vandelay Tech more than it would Nueva York. Nueva York would be pretty much the same, probably less funded actually since there's no international propaganda that got them a lot more donations.
Vandelay Tech on the other hand would have to go into more sleazy practices, cheapening their prices and probably allowing for more defects to get through because less people are buy robotics. I bet the cybernetic industry also took a hit after the failed revolution because people start thinking they could be controlled by their robotic parts.
People like Peni, who can not only control but also destroy robotics, would be feared and loved. Kits powers would be wanted by people who want to destroy robots but also feared by people who think kit could control them (or just control cybernetics). Once Margo learns she can control tech with her astral projection you better believe she would be in the same boat as Peni.
But yeah, most of the story would probably be focused more on Vandelay Tech than it would Nueva York. There might not be a revolution in Nueva York, or maybe there will be since the funding isn't as great, but I can see some kind of... not revolution, but definitely a fight happening in Vandelay Tech because Chai is unhappy with his prosthetic and is deemed a defect (instead of being hunted down though, he is just treated like shit and told there's nothing they can do and you are stuck like this so deal with it, so now Chai has to fight to show he's not a defect to prove the system wrong or something like that).

How would the NSR world change if Miguel O’Hara was the CEO of NSR (maybe ex guitarist of the Goolings too?) and Tatiana was the leader of an organization like Nueva York?
Hmmm... See this is a tricky thing to think about because of the ideals for each company. NSR is for music and electrical power while Nueva York is for people with uncontrolled powers. I can find a reason for Tatiana to have gone and made Nueva York (probably called something else) but it's hard to think of why Miguel would want to go into music.
I'll probably be rambling about this a bit, so under a cut it goes! [yo these rambles turned into an info dump lol! Lots of ideas and stuff under this cut haha!]
Now the main issue with just swapping the two is the age gap the two have. It's about 20 years with Miguel being in his like early 30s and Tatiana being in her late 40s or early 50s (48 in game, is older by the time the Power Revolution happens).
If you want Miguel to be an ex-guitarist to the Goolings, you kinda have to change his age. Which is a thing that could happen, but honestly I don't usually like changing ages when I can.
What I can think of, is that maybe the Goolings weren't successful at all. Or maybe Tatiana and Quida had even less control of their powers in this version, leading them to never be able to make the Goolings without destroying their instruments.
Tatiana (her name would be different at this point but I don't think it would be Kul Fyra so I'm just going with Tatiana for now), Joust, Quida, and Elivy would still very much be friends, just not in a band. I would think the four would want to find a way to control their powers, especially Tatiana and Quida. So they spend years trying to figure out different ways to control their powers.
Tatiana ends up wanting to suppress her powers and emotions as they seem directly links, Quida agrees. Actually, I think instead of outright suppressing, Tatiana would want full control of her powers. She would say having control over every aspect of yourself and your powers is the best way (which is a type of suppression) Elivy and Joust don't agree and think it's a stupid idea. They end up breaking up their friend group, or at least distancing themselves from each other.
Over some more years, Tatiana and Quida start a company that teaches people how to control their powers by controlling ever aspect of themselves. This could be called NSR (as I think there are no straight roads to learning how to control your powers, you have to take the long way), could be Nueva York (as I feel this would be made in Spain since Quida is a part of this company), or an entirely different name all together.
This company would have been made before Miguel makes his music company. How long? I don't know. I can see Tatiana making hers when she's like in her late 20s-mid 30s, somewhere in there. So at that point Miguel is still a kid or something. By the time he STARTS his company, Tatiana's would be about 15 years old most likely. It was probably really small for like 10 of those years and only recently became an international company.
Anyway, onto Miguel. I can see him as going into music for a hobby as a kid. The world still runs on music magic/power so I feel like it's almost universal for everyone to be into music at some point. He meets Rubato (Papa) and Catherine (Mama) while in school and becomes friends with them. I see this happening in the OG NSpidR AU but in this version, Miguel sticks with music.
Him, Catherine, and Rubato all end up forming a kind of band of classical musicians (what does Miguel play? I don't know, something). I can see them being really close until Miguel falls in love and has a kid with a woman. Rubato and Catherine want to wait to have a kid so the three kind drift apart with Rubato and Catherine continuing to make music while Miguel goes and has a family life.
He ends up losing his daughter (not from a misuse of his powers, or maybe he does misuse them, idk, all I know is he still loses his daughter). Instead of this loss making him create a company to control individual's power (since one already exists), he instead decides to go back to a happier time and dive back into music.
From here he gets back in touch with Rubato and Catherine, and they end up starting a musical company in the hopes of doing something good for those around them (which is the main thing motivating Miguel, is to do some good in his life to try and make it up to his daughter, even if he wasn't directly involved with her death, he still feels guilty and griefs his kid and this is a way he copes).
This company might actually still be in Vinyl City, as I think Vinyl City was where the Lights Up Show took place and musicians from all over the world would travel for their day of fame. I can see Miguel wanting to have his company based there since that is already a place where musicians go, so it would be easier to get more artists.
However, I can also see him choosing to stay in Mexico (or move to the US) since he is closer and probably doesn't want to entirely uproot Rubato and Catherine (especially if they are trying to start a family, which they might be, or they might have put that on hold to help Miguel). Though, I honestly see Miguel wanting to leave his home to start fresh somewhere new, and Rubato and Catherine would probably follow him wherever he wanted to go.
I don't know if Rubato would have died in this AU, probably. But that could mean that Yinu is never born because Rubato died when Yinu was like 4 in my version, and since him and Catherine put off trying for a child, this could be an AU where Yinu is never born. If that's the case, I can see Catherine becoming Miguel's second in command similar to how OG Eve is for Tatiana.
Okay, so how does this change the course of the AU/the media they come from?
Well, firstly, I can see people like Nova and Eve actually going to Tatiana's company since it was around when they were kids/teens. Catherine wouldn't go because her family wouldn't send her away for something like her not being able to control her powers. Nova's family probably wouldn't either, but I can see Nova asking to go there thinking it would be good for them when they are a teen (and to just get away from their ex-friend group, especially if it's after their "friends" outing them to their parents).
Characters who go to Tatiana's company wouldn't be the same as they are originally. Like I doubt Eve is as expressive as she is, probably doesn't do art, didn't really make a connection with Zuke. Nova might have left before completing the program because he realized it was a shit program and since he wasn't a danger (no one really knew of his black hole core at that time) he was let go and went back to his parents.
Tatiana's company is a lot more prestigious and probably has a better track record than OG NSpidR Miguel's Nueva York company. However, a lot more people are less happy and expressive because they are trying to control every aspect of themselves.
This personalized control is actually what causes the power crisis with Miguel's music company. There aren't as many high powered musicians since people with powers are trying to control themselves (idk why, but I feel like the stronger your power, it also amplifies your passion and the support you receive, so having people with strong powers also makes more music power).
No matter what Miguel does, he can't seem to make enough power. He doesn't restrict music genres because he never had a falling out with a specific genre, but no matter how varied and complex the music is that comes out of his company, there is still blackouts.
I actually think this is because OG Tatiana allowed people to be highlighted in her company. It's how we got the Megastars. Miguel on the other hand, would give equal opportunities and power to the people in his company. Instead of Megastars, he has just the average NSRtist. This means that there is no face of a district (honestly his districts are most likely broken up by genre or something) and he has a lot more low level musicians constantly making music but never enough for what is needed.
Miguel would also stop any minor from trying to work at his company. Him and Catherine would not accept minors, especially kids, as artists. This is actually a detriment for them because if they could, they could probably scoop up some high powered musicians that could make more music for them before Tatiana's company took them in and basically rewired them.
Hobie would probably still get stuck in Tatiana's company, however they might not have any help from the outside because if Miguel allows all genres, that would mean Ex-Jay stayed in Vinyl City (yeah I like it in Vinyl City instead of Mexico) and never became friends with Hobie. This is probably the worst version for Hobie because of how alone it is in this AU.
Gwen would still be sent to Tatiana's company, but she would be heavily monitored by Quida as they have very similar powers. I kinda see their relationship as being similar to Jess and Gwen's, with Quida being Gwen's role model and person to look out for Gwen [actually, I might have changed Gwen's role by the end of the post, keep reading to find out].
I don't know if Miles would be able to go to Tatiana's company. It's one thing to go a few states away, but another to be sent to another continent. I can see Miles still trying to go with his plan and see Gwen, but it wouldn't really work because his parents would see the distance as too extreme and try to keep Miles in their area and help him through the family instead of outside help.
Pav... Hmmm, I can still see him having to be sent to Tatiana's company, however, I also think he would see how upset Eve is. He probably heard stories of her before she went to Tatiana's company, how she was put there after the Psychonauts couldn't help her, and she probably at some point told Pav about her time there. This would make Pav run away before he could be sent to Tatiana's. He'd probably beg at first to go to the Psychonauts, but no one in the family thinks they are worth it since they couldn't help Eve, so Pav runs away knowing if he doesn't he would get sent to Tatiana's.
I can actually see Pav running to Eve's father. Her father still cheated and divorced her mom (since I see the divorce happening when Eve was at the Psychonauts for a summer, so it doesn't get changed), and so Pav and Remi end up living together. I don't see Eve as the type to try and force Pav or out his location to the family, but she also isn't going to be helping him or Remi with stuff.
Sayu, and by extension Sayu's Crew, doesn't really exist. There is obviously the friendship group between Sofa, Dodo, Remi, and Tila (now with Pav in the mix and Gayatri long distance), but they never become the Sayu Crew as Miguel's company wouldn't accept them. They also all stay with their respective families because they can't just leave and be emancipated like they would in my OG versions (especially without Eve's help).
However, thanks to Pav and his powers, the group can find ways to escape their families. Pav is learning how to use his powers while also creating a fantasy dream land where the group can hang out (honestly this probably does way worse things to Tila's mental state, but she also doesn't want to live without this escapism).
Also, I can kinda see Tila and Pav fake dating to get Tila's family off her back. She ends up lying to her family saying she was confused about liking girls and brings Pav to show them she likes boys. Pav and Gayatri are okay with this, especially if it is helping Tila's home life be less shitty.
Margo and Peni probably still end up at Tatiana's company. I can't really think of anything significantly different in their stories that makes them end up in this company or changes them.
Uuuuh.. oh! 1010! 1010 would have still been made, as I see Neon J as always wanting to have been a musician for all his life but not having the confidence after the cybernetics, so he still would have made 1010. Actually... hold on. Ignore 1010 for a second.
Neon J (one of my fave characters, which is why he is pretty important to my NSR's history) would be changed pretty drastically in this AU. If the Goolings never became a band, Neon J and Kliff probably wouldn't have been friends, at least not super close friends... Which would actually change 1010 entirely. Hmmm...
You know, I can still see Kliff and Neon J becoming friends and bonding over the creation the the dolls (for those who don't know, I headcanon 1010 as starting out as dolls. There were 8 originally, only 5 made it to being 1010s, technically 6 but 5 became the actual group). Not having the Goolings concerts to go to would mean Neon probably spent more time with his wife as well, meaning that possibly Neon and Martha stayed as a couple.
It could also have meant that Neon and Kliff spent more time together, making Martha more jealous and she still pulled her bullshit with Neon J and they had a divorce. I think the most likely outcome would be Kliff kinda sabotaging Neon's relationship with Martha, the two get a divorce, some how Neon finds out about Kliff (probably one of the dolls tells the truth or something) and Neon is no longer friends with Kliff. He still has all 8 dolls (maybe 7 if Martha still destroyed one of them) and Martha refuses to take him back.
As this AU goes on, Neon J would have still worked in the war efforts, probably was still friends with Kliff for a while, went through the similar events that turned him into a cyborg, stopped being friends with Kliff, and made 1010 with warbot and doll codes combined.
He'd still absolutely want to be part of a big corporation that is helping others, but still want to be a musician (or live his musical life out through his kids). So I can see him helping build security and tech stuff for Tatiana's company while working as 1010's manager as they work for Miguel's company. Since there are no Megastars, this is actually a lot more possible for Neon J compared to if 1010 had become Megastars and would have needed a lot more supervision.
1010 themselves would have been like a band of 7 or 6 (I like the idea that one of them was destroyed by Martha, and another probably got it's internal workings corrupted to shit and never turned on again. Originally one was also lost in Neon J's multiple moves after the divorce, but I don't see that happening here). Anyway, 1010 would be pretty successful musicians, probably friendly with Ex-Jay, B2J, and DK West.
Speaking of DK West! He could have possibly gone to Tatiana's company for his shadow manipulation powers! I don't see him as having any real problems, but he probably scared someone important with his powers enough to get him sent there. Him and Tatiana did not get along at all and he was always being a hassle.
Him and Hobie probably could have been really good friends if he was there at the same time as Hobie, but I see DK West as being there at the same time as Eve. Both as kids, maybe tweens. Possibly Eve and DK West got along, but I doubt it. West wasn't a misogynistic jerk at that point, but with how Eve was she probably wasn't easy to befriend and West would have rather hung out with more lively and happy people.
Hhmmm, I am definitely missing people. Noir, Peter Porker, I don't really see their stories changing. Maybe Noir didn't get de-colored in this AU for some reason. Idk.
I don't think Nova would have gone to work for either company. They had a shitty time at Tatiana's and so wouldn't go back there, and Miguel's doesn't reward exceptional talent with a place above the rest, so I doubt Nova would be interested in going there. He either stays at his college job for as long as possible and then probably finds work in a tech field once he was fired (would be funny if he and Neon ended up in the same tech company).
GASP! What if Neon and Nova ended up working at Vandelay Technology because of how this AU is!? Like, Nova would absolutely end up being one of the bosses/CEOs at Vandelay. I think Neon would be like a third party consultant that the company would buy ideas and patents from. Probably use Neon as a link to Tatiana's and Miguel's company to help promote the sale of certain technology.
I don't know where Jessica or Peter B. would be in all of this. Maybe Peter B. works with Miguel, like he was another friend that was brought on to help run the company. I don't think Peter B. would be a musician, but he'd be a helpful asset to have. Also, honestly, I think Peter B. having Mayday would be a good excuse for the heads of the music company to start neglecting their duties. Catherine, Miguel, and Peter would put more effort and love into Mayday Parker than the company and it starts making shit get worse because of poor management. Possibly a reason for a revolution, hmmmmmm?
Jessica? Uh... Yeah, I don't really have any ideas for her. I don't know her comic or motivations so it's hard to think of anything for her. It would be neat if she was a second in command at Tatiana's company alongside Quida or something like that.
I can't believe I forgot to talk about B2J. Like I know I mentioned them but then I almost forgot them entirely lol. Well, safe to say, they got their dream of working for the music company. They aren't Megastars, obviously, but they are producing quite a bit of power. B2J and Ex-Jay are probably the top producers of power (especially B2J because they by themselves could produce the same amount of music as Megastars, I think they are making more than the average person in this AU).
When shit starts to go south because of shitty management, I can see Mayday standing up to the boss and asking what the deal is. Why is there still so little power!? We are working our asses off and there is still so many blackouts!
Aaaaand... B2J get kicked out of Miguel's company (maybe Ex-Jay too because they would stick by B2J, idk about DK West, most likely). So yeah, Miguel's company just lost a huge production of power but isn't giving a shit. I can see B2J, DK West, and Ex-Jay doing something drastic and stupid and trying to get into Miguel's headquarters to "talk" to him. All of them show they have some kind of power (especially Cyril's time powers, West's shadow powers, and B2J's weird musical powers/strengths), which, because they are a danger, get them thrown into Tatiana's company.
This could be the group that does the revolution at Tatiana's place. B2J, Hobie, Ex-Jay, DK West, uhhh, maybe Gwen.
Actually, let me think about Gwen. I do think she goes to Tatiana's still, but I think she would get really good control of her powers really quickly because Quida and her share similar powers. It would be easy for Gwen to learn to control her powers with someone who has gone through the same thing. So Gwen probably got in and got out of the program really quickly.
That being said, she wouldn't have wanted to go home. And she probably had become friends with Hobie, maybe. Actually no, I don't really see her befriending Hobie. She was probably always around Quida instead, plus Hobie wouldn't have been as friendly or receptive to ANYONE as they are in in canon/OG NSpidR AU (instead of not trusting adults, Hobie doesn't trust anyone).
Anyway, I can see her going close to her home, but not home. Probably tried to find Miles and tried to stay with him (Miles at this point realizing he couldn't have made it to Gwen so stopped pretending he couldn't control his powers, probably said it was just puberty). I can see her crashing at his dorm without anyone except Ganke knowing.
The three become friends and possibly start a band! Instead of a guitarist like Hobie, Ganke does EDM mixes while Gwen is drums and Miles is vocals. They get really good and probably becomes friends with other bands online (maybe becoming friends with the "Sayu Crew" and Pav because I can see them still making music and animations as indie artists).
What would be really cool is if Miles and Ganke were able to convince their parents to let them go to Vinyl City for a Lights Up Audition (kids can do these, but they won't be accepted into Miguel's company, it's more like scouting them and possibly getting them a scholarship to a musical school nearby). I think Ganke's parents would be all for it, while Miles' parents would be a bit hesitant but are willing to do it because Miles has never been this happy about something before in his life (Ganke also somehow convinces his parents to pay for Gwen's ticket, maybe THEY start fake dating so Miles' fam doesn't suspect Miles and Gwen like each other and don't question why she is always around Miles).
Anyway, I would like to think that Miles and band somehow meet up with Sayu Crew and Pav (maybe Gayatri was able to make a trip to Vinyl City, saying she was visiting Tila, an online friend and leaving out Pav from the conversation). The little group goes site seeing and hang out before the audition.
The audition where Miles' band completely blows the competitors completely out of the water and shows the most power ever created by anyone in Miguel's company from the last decade! Like, this was some exceptional playing and power output, something that couldn't be ignored at all and possibly a beacon of light in the darkness that is plaguing Vinyl City at the moment.
Only for Miguel and Catherine to outright reject the band entirely (along with whoever else is judging as well, there would probably be some kind of signal Miguel had for them in case he wanted someone fully rejected no matter what).
Like, you can win a Lights Up Audition without having to be accepted into the company, but Miguel and Catherine outright refuse to even give this band the time of day. Probably something Miles' said before playing, something about bringing a change to the city maybe or saying they wanted to be the youngest band accepted into the company, I don't know. All I know, is that Miles and band weren't even given the dignity of a win even when they obviously deserved it.
This probably gets Gwen super upset, screaming that this is unfair and that Miguel has no idea what she's been through and that his selfish and blind ass decision is going to run this city into the ground! (she was more venting at the loss of being able to get away from her father who she still hasn't returned to, but she also pissed off Miguel with how she talked).
I can see her wanting to fight him, to get past his security and show him that the youth is needed to change the world! Miles and Ganke would be hesitant to help, so would the Sayu Crew and Pav, but they would still support her and help her (I can see Gayatri as being fully on Gwen's side from the moment she starts speaking for some reason lol).
Gwen has nothing to lose, and honestly neither do a lot of the Sayu Crew and Pav. It's really Ganke and Miles who could end up throwing away their futures if something happens with them following Gwen, but they choose to stick by her side.
This is the group that is going to lead the revolution against Miguel. While it does seem like they are at a disadvantage compared to the older gen that tried to fight Miguel (B2J, Ex-Jay, DK West), I actually see them as having their own advantages.
Mainly Pav and Gwen with their powers. They are much more useful compared to Cyril's time powers and DK West's powers. There's also Tila and Gayatri's voices and probably something that Dodo, Sofa, and Remi bring to the table (idk yet for them).
Not to mention! Neon J, the guy behind the security and tech for all three big corporations, would not allow his more harmful security to be used against basically children. I don't know why, but I can see him telling 1010 to deal with these kids in a safe way (trying to tell them to talk to the revolutionists) only for 1010 to either turn on Neon J or get destroyed by the revolutionists because these are just robots to them and not actual people.
Neon J then becomes more concerned with Miguel's company, leaving Tatiana's and Vandelay to their own devices, allowing for their revolutions to start up there. Instead of having a span of a few years between each revolution, they all basically happen simultaneously.
Right now I don't have any idea why Vandelay's revolution would happen earlier than before, I'm thinking that with Neon J helping out, they were able to get Project Armstrong out faster, bringing in Chai a lot earlier. Having Nova as one of the bosses also probably made the company a bit more susceptible to attack because of his lack of action, and Neon leaving Korsica high and dry for security along with stopping any help with Zanzo's patents really allowed for Peppermint to move her plans ahead a few years (or maybe these revolutions happened later than the orignal NSR revolution, so they lined up more with the Hi Fi Rush Revolution, which could make sense except by that time Sayu's Crew would have been legal adults at 18 or so, so it's more like these revolutions just happened a bit earlier).
Wooh! Okay! I am so sorry this was this long! I really just had a ton of ideas and ran with them didn't I? Sorry if you only wanted me to talk about Miguel and Tatiana but I just really wanted to give my reasonings at to why the universe would turn out the way it would if they somehow switched place.
To me, you can't just switch two people in a universe and expect everything to be the same with just those two switched. The butterfly effect is such a cool thing to think about and I always let my mind wander and create new worlds and what-if scenarios. If you didn't like my ramble, sorry (not really lol) but I had a TON of fun talking about this. Makes me want to make it like an actual AU lol. If you want me to talk about it more, then I guess call it the Reverse AU or something, idk, I think that works. I'll know what you mean at least.

Okay battle ideas for act 3 (not putting in the kids here bc I think they’d all be against that
Hanami and Ilia VS Yinu, Peni, (Lili, Asa?), Catherine (she might be too old/sick), Eri, Ada, Eloni, Brute?
Jogo VS Tatiana, Miguel, DJ Sub?, Ilia, Noir, Ham (Noir and Ham might be with Dragon)
Dragon VS DDMC and Sayu Crew, (Margo and Tila?), Zimelu?
Kale and Vandelay Corps VS B2J, Hobie, Ex-Jay, Chai and friends? (Or just Chai), Haym, Rin?
Liv and Moria VS Jonathan, Peter B, Purl? (Also more people needed here)
Mahito VS Kento, Yu, (Miles, Gwen, Ganke?), (Eve, Pav, and Gayatri?)
Suguru VS Satoru and Shoko
(Can’t wait to hear your opinion about this because this AU is giving me VERY HIGH QUALITY BRAIN ROT)
Oh I love these! So much! Gonna put this under a cut definitely because I'm combining this ask with the second ask you sent going into more detail!
[Also thank you for being patient as this was a LOT to answer but really fun to write!]
So first off, I think a lot of these fights, with how you sent them, are the like FINAL fights for each character. Because I do have a lot of ideas of like smaller battles between different characters, like Raz vs Hanami or Peni vs Mahito.
But these specific fights seem a lot more like they are the end of the character (either being bad or death, I don't know yet, but most likely talking shit through). So yeah, I'll do my best to give my opinions on them and how I would see them going down if they do go down!
-Vs. Hanami and Ilia:
Tumblr media
[VS Hanami: this fight is more about reasoning with Hanami and Ilia. Hence people who have plant powers or are close with Ilia and Hanami are all here to try and reason with them instead of throwing hands]
I like the idea you are going with here! Ilia needs his friends to help him see reason and Hanami needs people with plant powers to help her see that the world still has hope for better humans.
At this point when the fight is happening, I don't know if someone was able to figure out a way to stop the eventual collapse of the world or not yet, but whether it happened or not, I can see the good guys convincing Hanami and Ilia that this can be fixed (either saying they know how to fix the world, or saying they can find a way together if they actually work together as humans, robots, and spirits, instead of against).
If you want to get pretty messed up here, I can see Catherine having been a bit older/weaker, but someone (probably Mahito) "fixed" that in her so she is able to fight. She's probably not as forgiving, at least not for Mahito, but she is following Yinu's lead here instead of leading Yinu (probably a smaller plot point that was addressed up to this point, because if Catherine got her strength back, even if in pain from the transformation, she would have absolutely gone back to protective mode over Yinu, and Peni now).
Lili was probably here first to try and fight Hanami alone, the Psychonauts are definitely the main people fighting against the spirits attacking humans, but he most likely was getting his ass kicked by Hanami and Ilia pretty good (as Hanami can outrank Lili in nature power and so a lot of his plants can get turned on him).
This is where Ilia's friends, as well as Yinu, Peni, and Catherine show up to try and stop Hanami and Ilia (most likely because of Asa wanting to stop them personally, as he still cares for Ilia even though at this point they are either broken up or on a break with all the bullshit going on).
Definitely these two are going to be the first to switch sides to be on the good side. If there is a known way to stop the collapse of the world, then Hanami becomes a great tool in reasoning with Jogo, Mahito, and Dagon. If there isn't a known way but there are concrete plans to try and find a way, then she will stand back and be on the neutral side, letting the rest of the spirits do as they will as she keeps an eye on the plans for saving the world.
Ilia is probably a bit more hesitant, but honestly got swept up in all the drama and thinking of a world where robots, spirits, and humans could live together in peace as long as there were only humans with powers. It's gonna take a long while for him and his friendships to become strong again, but he is willing to help out trying to find a way to save the world with Hanami and Asa.
-Vs. Jogo:
Tumblr media
[VS Jogo: fire resistance. Miguel is here bc his suit can protect him from heat. Tatiana can use her time powers to stop Jogo while the others lay attacks. (Also I see Miguel’s strength on par with Toji)]
Love the idea that Miguel is on a similar level as Toji! I absolutely agree in strength they are close, but Toji is still probably stronger as well as much faster and smarter than Miguel (good thing he is probably dead lol, I am not having him just come out of no where and murder my babies! ...maybe lol)
I actually think just having Tatiana and Miguel vs Jogo would be enough for this fight. The others would either be too underclassed for this fight, be at a major disadvantage, or would be better off fighting another fight with a different opponent.
Those two together are honestly really strong and have a resistance to pretty much everything Jogo could throw at them. The only real problem would be trying to minimize the damage that Jogo would be able to do during the fight.
Which is where Tataiana's time powers would really come in handy, as she would do her best to try and get to Jogo as fast as possible and bring him somewhere else. Though we already know Jogo is extremely perceptive and was able to stop Naobito using his Projection Sorcery, so I honestly think Tatiana won't be fast enough to actually get Jogo out of the area (this fight is either happening in Vinyl City or Nueva York, not some random ass place like the rest of these fights could possibly occur).
So what if veils could be made, but they are now made with technology and not cursed energy? That would be a major thing that Miguel would bring to the fight, because there would absolutely be some people who are out of control with their powers and would need to be isolated from the masses in order to not hurt people while Nueva York did their best to calm the powered person down.
It would be a pretty long and drawn out battle I would think, with the power tech slowly draining Jogo of his immense amount of power until he would have to be forced to run away, as I am positive that Tatiana and Miguel would be one of the few characters willing to kill considering Jogo might have killed plenty of people before the veil went down, as well as absolutely killed people before the fight.
Either that, or maybe Hanami would enter the veil and talk to Jogo. Though this would only work if the solution to the collapsing world problem has been solved or is close to being solved. Hanami plus the realization that the world isn't going to die would be enough to calm Jogo and have him start to hear out the humans of the world.
Overall, Jogo would end up losing unless he got a good shot against either Miguel or the machine keeping the veil in place (which would be outside the veil but possibly with enough force could be destroyed or at the very least moved to weaken the veil enough to be broken). Because Tatiana is not one to easily be beaten by another fire elemental/controller.
Actually, you know what? It would be cool if Jogo was actually mopping the floor with Tatiana and Miguel, with those two just barely able to hold their own (they aren't getting hurt all that much, but are only on the defensive, can't attack properly, and are quickly running out of steam).
A long fight between them would have ended up in Jogo's win, and the death of two major figures in the world. But Matvey ends up showing up and puts Jogo in his place (the way Toji did to Dagon except that Jogo manages to escape).
Matvey isn't here to save his daughter, but to get revenge on the disaster curses for a fight that would have happened earlier in the series that I will end up talking about later on (not in this post).
Even if Matvey doesn't have any fire powers, his metal body gives him a resistance to fire, but also his overpowered time abilities make it nearly impossible for him to be hit by Jogo's (or anyone's really) power. So he would be the saving grace of the fight if Jogo was getting the upper hand in the fight.
This would absolutely not fix the relationship between Tatiana and Matvey, but it would allow them to talk for a moment before Matvey continues on to try and find Mahito and Suguru.
-Vs. Dagon:
Tumblr media
[VS Dragon: the domain’s sure hit might not work if its attacks are to holographic mermaids. (If Ham is here, they could think about cooking the fish… and actually feasting on them. The 10 year timeskip strengthened her reality warping.)]
The thing about the DDMC is that they most likely don't have their holographic bodies anymore, or at the very least not at the time of this fight (if they had their holograms then Dagon and friends would make sure to attack when the mermaids are in their physical bodies like during an in person concert or something).
Actually, I really like that idea! Dagon attacking during a concert! This could be why Zimelu is here during this fight (as well as Ham and Noir) because they were all there to see the concert since they were either invited or had nothing better to do lol.
By this point in their lives, I am pretty sure the mermaids would have gained enough power and stuff through their biotech bodies that they gained their own natural magic abilities (what these are I don't know, but probably related to their holographic fighting abilities).
I'm still working on how domains work in this AU/Universe, but if Dagon does have their domain, then they would drag in as many people as possible to make fighting them as difficult as can be.
It will be kinda like the Satoru vs Jogo and Hanami fight, where Dagon will be using fans and ordinary people as fodder in order to complicate the fight for the DDMC, Zimelu, Noir, and Ham.
I think the Crew themselves wouldn't have been brought into the domain, mainly because they usually take care of the show from the backstage and so wouldn't have been in the sight of Dagon to be dragged into the domain.
That would mean that there is now a way to call for help to get someone inside the domain to help fight against Dagon. My bet would be to have Pav and Gaya come in as those two would be the closest people at this point.
They would be able to break in and honestly I love the idea that Sofa somehow gets their tech into the domain and keeps a connection going with it during the fight.
You know how Megumi weakened Dagon's domain with his own domain? I can see Sofa and the Crew in general doing the same thing with that tech. Pav is also helping in this regard but is more so using his powers to make sure people are safe and not easy to hit by Dagon. Gaya on the other hand is trying to use her voice to boost her friends while also trying to make it harder for Dagon to fight (more of a confusion than a full stop like Inumaki can do a bit).
The problem is, I can see Dagon just having too much energy, as well as a domain making everything easier for them, that this fight is going to drain the powers of everyone fighting them before a dent even gets put into Dagon's power.
Oooh! You know what would be cool! If one of the mermaids were able to learn how to make their own domain during this fight! Because though I am still figuring out how domains would work in this universe when dealing with people who don't have psychic powers, I can definitely see one of the mermaids having awoken psychic powers over the 10 year timeskip and now is able to open a domain thanks to the adrenaline rush AND Sofa being able to boost their power/stamina whatever is needed to open a domain.
So while I do see Dagon as having one of the best domains when it comes to experience and completeness, having been fighting a bit against Sofa's tech, probably Pav trying to open a domain as well, and now a 4th domain being thrown into the mix, the first 3 domains would collapse and the mermaid's domain is now the front runner!
(I think I am leaning towards Renho being the one who has psychic abilities, but Aoi could also be the one instead. Maybe the both of them end up with some psychic powers, but Renho is an actual psychic while Aoi only has mind powers)
Anyway, once Dagon lost the domain fight would be a turning point in the fight. Noir and Pav are making sure people are getting out of the domain through a hole/door provided by the mermaid.
Zimelu is protecting any people that can't get to the door with her barrier while also shooting at Dagon from the sidelines (I can also see her being the one who gave orders in the beginning of the fight because she and Noir are probably the best under pressure like this).
Ham is working with the mermaids in the fight against Dagon, kicking their ass now as one mermaid now has a surefire hit and the others are boosted up from Sofa and the rest of the Crew (and honestly I can see the combination of domains happening, something that is entirely new even to the curses. Where Sofa's tech and the mermaid's domain combine into one allowing for the Crew to affect the fight digitally and have a surefire hit just as much as the mermaid whose domain this is would have).
All this while Ham is being helpful but also got a boost in power because what is funnier than the tables turning on a strong opponent and now they are being handled like a toy! Like that shit is hilarious and only helping Ham beat the crap out of Dagon now.
Once all the people are out of the domain, you better believe the fight now gets even worse for Dagon as Noir, Pav, and Gaya are all back in the fight 100%.
The constant hits from the Crew and Club, the mind games being played by Pav and Gaya, and the support from Noir, Ham, and Zimelu would all be too much for Dagon to handle and they'd have their ass handed to them and lose a lot of their energy until they couldn't fight anymore and just barely hold themself up from the ground.
The only real problem now is what to do with Dagon, because NONE of the people here have either taken a life, or wants to take a life again. So they don't know what to do. It doesn't help that Dagon probably realizes this and starts to cry (1. to trick them, and 2. I just see Dagon as someone who is ready to cry, it's not weakness, but they are just stressed and want to release some of that stress).
The crying would absolutely get to everyone and they would tell Dagon to never do this again or else they will end them (an empty threat that Dagon could tell).
Once the mermaid and Sofa release their domains, I can see Dagon doing one last hit of a small wave/tsunami type attack to wash away everyone (possible cause a lot of structural damage to the concert venue, thankfully all civilians would have been evacuated at that point) and fly away from the scene.
So kinda a stalemate between the two sides with this one, but it took pretty much EVERYTHING from the "good guys" to actually get Dagon to a spot where they were beatable. So that is going to be something that is kept in mind for later.
(You know, I think I kinda wrote this as a first or middle battle, rather than a final battle. But this could very well be a final battle as well as first. Like it's Dagon's first real battle but also it's closer to the end so they don't really get a second battle).
Also, that is to say all of that happens if Dagon is in their evolved form. If they are just a little baby wormy, then instead of fighting they are just chilling in the crowd with some glow sticks and dancing to the tunes of the Mermaid Club /j
I doubt Dagon would be fighting properly in their worm form. At least now starting fights between world leaders like their evolved form will be. I think a smaller fight between Peni and Yinu would be what gets Dagon to transform earlier in the AU, but I'm not entirely sure yet.
-Vs. Kale:
Tumblr media
[VS Kale: it would be humiliating to not only lose twice against the same opponent, but also by more guitars! (I also see Chai and co being able to get in Vandelay easily because of who they are)]
It would absolutely be humiliating for Kale to lose twice to the same opponents but also really fucking funny! Gonna add Ratchet from Robots to Kale's side and Rodney to Chai and friends' side!
Definitely the easiest, or at least the least threatening fight on this list because it is just a bunch of CEOs with more robotic tech than actual powers (though tech powers are starting to get recognized as true powers now in the world).
Honestly, this fight would play out more like OG HFR, NSR, and Robots combined. There's no super powerful entity making domains or destroying whole cities. Just a bunch of normal-ish people beating the shit out of each other.
Most likely what happens is that the rockers (including Rin, maybe Haym) are all visiting Hobie and Ex-Jay in the UK, and decide to go look visit Robot City. I have an OC band who I am still working on who would be living in Robot City because a few members are robots but every single one has robotics in them.
So Hobie and Ex-Jay take their friends to visit Robot City and there they all learn about how shit has gone down hill real fast thanks to Ratchet becoming a CEO and making a deal with Kale. This is where they all meet Rodney who is one of the few people who still believe in Bigweld coming back.
The rockers all agree to help out in fighting because it's not fair and also because of personal beef with these idiots at the top. Rodney wants to find Bigweld instead of fighting at first. I can see Rin and Haym being the ones to go with him (maybe Macaron and Ellie come too? I would find that funny lol).
As the rockers end up trying to figure out a way to get into Bigweld Industries (the security is very tight because Kale knows way too much how lax security can fuck things up), Rodney and friends do their best to find Bigweld.
It would be like a two part story where you are following the fight against returning bosses (Rekka, Mimosa, Zanzo and Roquefort) as well as new bosses (like security robots, sweepers, Tim, Gasket) from Robots. And then also following the mystery of where Bigweld is (maybe the story gets darker with hints of Bigweld being dead and dismantled, only for that to be a red herring).
The boss fights would be like upgraded/master difficulty fights compared to last time because 10 years have passed which led to a lot of hate marinating as well as plenty of upgrades being made to the bosses (like you cannot tell me Mimosa and Zanzo aren't gonna be the most petty bitches and hold grudges for a decade).
I also kinda like the idea that Gasket and Kliff are the ones pulling the strings behind everything. Gasket hates outmodes and Kliff is just a pretty vindictive person and thinks this is a good stepping stone for him to get back at NSR (especially since Kale is probably salty against NSR as well for being the inspiration for the Tech Revolution leading to his downfall).
Though honestly don't know how I truly feel about Kliff being behind this. I did want him connected to the RoboRevolution, but I think I wanted him to be on the good guy's side this time.
Kinda like he was the reason Kale went to Robot City and made a deal with Ratchet, but then he probably started to regret it or was treated bad because he did not have any tech in him. He was just a powerless and techless human.
Oh! Kliff would be the perfect display of a betrayal! At first he is with Kale and Ratchet! But then once he refused to be upgraded, and found out to have no powers, he becomes a target by both the tech side as well as the curse side of things!
This would lead Kliff to running and hiding where he might meet Rodney and from there Kliff is now trying to help Rodney in the fight against Kale and Ratchet.
Obviously the NSR cast would NOT trust him in this regard, but I can see Haym and Rin being the ones to actually listen to Rodney and are the reason those two go with Rodney and Kliff (as well as Cappy) to go find Bigweld while the rockers go and start making a path through the bosses to the CEOs.
So Kliff was kinda the reason the RoboRevolution happens in both regards. He's why the oppressive regime started to form, but also one of the major reasons it will get dismantled! (love me a man who flip flops on ideals and morals to best suite himself)
-Vs. Liv and Moira:
Tumblr media
[VS Liv and Moria: tech bros fighting… yeah. That’s it. (Also Jonathan is still PISSED that Liv is still that wicked in her beliefs. So tagged up with his friends)]
You know who I'm gonna add into this mix? Soul Eater characters! Specifically Medusa is gonna be on the side of Liv and Moira! Crona will be fighting against their mother(s).
Jonathan and Peter are absolutely fighting in this fight. I can see Mercy/Angela also fighting because of Moira. Then it would be Crona and some of the other Soul Eater characters as well.
I don't know why Purl would be here. I can't really think of a reason other than that they would not like the work that Liv, Moira, and Medusa are up to. Like Purl does not have connections to really any of these characters...
OH! No I know! Ilma! She is one of the teachers at Jujutsu Tech for sword fighting and she's the reason why Crona was able to get away from Medusa enough to become friends with Maka, the rest of the SE gang, and probably some of the JJK characters!
Crona, Maki, and Maka being friends and also students under Ilma would be why Purl is here because I can see Purl and Ilma being friends thanks to Cyril!
Purl and probably Ilma are here to help protect their students as they stand up to Crona's mother.
Peter and Jonathan are here because they found out about Crona and how they have been the victim to horrible power experiments, and are extremely pissed off that Liv is still doing this shit (and is now being funded by governments wanting to know the secret to powers and genetics through any means necessary, even the cost of a life such as Crona's).
There is definitely no changing Medusa, Moira, or Olivia's minds when it comes to this fight. It is either beat them or lose. No way are they gonna give up what they worked decades to build up and are willing to die and kill for. There is no price for the advancement of science in these three's eyes.
Now this fight is also probably one of the hardest fights, not in the terms of pure power or strength that will go into it, but the mind games and skill that will be needed to fight these three.
They are all very smart, very agile, and have plenty of powers and tech on their side that most of the world would have never even seen at this point as it is all experimental and secret.
Also the fact that i think by this point, Liv would have worked with Moira and Medusa long enough that she was able to give herself some powers. And if that wasn't the case, her and Suguru are slightly buddy-buddy now and he would have given her some powers in exchange for allowing Mahito to practice his powers on some of their test subjects (an opportunity that Liv would have jumped on in a matter of mere seconds without a second thought).
Like that would be a major blow to hear from Liv for Jonathan, Peter B, and Ilma to hear. To find out that Suguru was working with these three doing horrible experiments against people's will just for the "betterment" of humanity.
This would be especially cool thing to be revealed in an earlier fight. It doesn't even have had to have been a fight. Maybe Jonathan found Liv and Moira, or Liv and Medusa, out on one of their missions for the curses and it was just a conversation.
It probably ended up being a slight fight, but the 2-on-1 vs Jonathan would not have ended in his favor at all (not with Medusa or Moira being the other person on Olivia's side).
And when Jonathan asked her why she is doing this, and how he will let the same people who beat her all those years ago know what she is doing, that is when she reveals to him that Suguru is one of the people behind all of this.
Everything happening now in the new world is because of Suguru meeting up with the curses and trolls and finding out about how the world is going to collapse if they don't do this. Olivia, Moira, Medusa, and Suguru all believe the end justifies the means, and that all of this pain and suffering is worth it to keep humanity alive and advancing.
This scene is probably one of the major starts of the Eriverse, which then goes through a bunch of fights and story development. With one of the ending fights being this one where Jonathan, Peter, Soul Eater kids, Purl, and Ilma take on the three scientists.
I still don't believe there is any way that those three are gonna change their minds at all. They are way too stuck in their ways and belief systems to change for the better. So while they probably don't die, I think the institutions will ban then from working with them and take away their funding once the word gets out what they were doing.
Like obviously the institutions were funding them and keeping this all a secret, but the moment it got out to the public the institutions pleaded ignorance and cut the ties with those three.
That's not gonna stop them, only slow them down, but for now they won't be all that much trouble (until we get to the next generation /j).
-Vs. Mahito:
Tumblr media
[VS Mahito: If I am correct, Miles, Yu and Kento might all have fought with Mahito at one point. Kento especially has beef with him, and knows the tricks up his sleeve. Miles’ powers are not that offensive, so Gwen and Ganke are here as attackers/enhancers. Eve and Pav are here to combat Mahito’s realm. Gayatri is here to evacuate people because Mahito needs a sure supply of humans.]
Okay, so having a singular vs. Mahito fight is definitely not happening. This bad boi can't sit fucking still at all and will be fucking around with everyone and everything (you know that scene in Spongebob where Patrick touches everything in the jellyfish museum? Yea no, that's Mahito all the way lol).
You absolutely KNOW the final battle with him is going to be some hectic bullshit of multiple people trying to jump this goofball and Mahito just laughing all the while getting his ass kicked but no real damage coming his way.
I will say, one of the major people who will be fighting Mahito is absolutely Kento, Yu, and Junpei. Those three need their just desserts when it comes to beating the crap out of Mahito. And because of that, Yuji is also going to be here supporting his boi Junpei in the fight!
Honestly still figuring out what is gonna go on with Yuji, but there is still gonna be some kind of Sukuna adjacent thing going on which allows Yuji to be kinda immune to Mahito, which keeps the whole "You are my natural enemy but we are also the same" theme (Nobara would be a lot more important in this AU too, I just haven't gotten to her, as he special power to connect with people's souls like a psychic can connect with the mind is something absolutely needed in a lot of these fights with curses and trolls and vocaloids and stuff).
Anyway, the thing with Mahito's powers is that I don't know if they actually transfigure humans in the way they do in canon. For this AU I had it so that they can change of give and element to people. It's not like changing people into weapons or monsters. I am honestly still debating on that.
Actually! You know what? I think it will do both! Mahito can change people's element/give them an element, and if they die from the change and pain, they become tools for Mahito. If they don't die then they become human shields for him to use (like making two human turn into metal elementals to tank a hit from Yuji would absolutely be something Mahito is willing to do).
So yea! Gaya will absolutely be needed to evacuate as many people away from Mahito as humanly possibly, though he will absolutely still get a few to use unfortunately.
Eve is absolutely here as well, I can see her having become friends with Kento thanks to his relationship to Dodo and friendship with Pav and Remi. Pav, similarly, is here for Kento, Yu and Miles.
Definitely think the two need to work together against Mahito's domain because as much as Eve and Pav have made domains, they never had to fight for their domains to be active against another. So the two are using all their power to keep their domains open against Mahito if he opens it (which he absolutely will try, if Sukuna is not entirely here, which I am still debating on) as Mahito has much more experience fighting with domains than those two.
I don't really remember saying that Miles, Gwen, and Ganke (or at the very least just Miles) was in a fight with Mahito earlier, but honestly that would be a cool fight to talk about because I can see Mahito having changed one of them with his powers. I was leaning towards Gwen, but Ganke would be a cool one to see changed as well.
Whichever one it was, they almost didn't survive at all. It was purely because Miku was around and hated seeing what Mahito does to people that the person was able to survive.
This would be when Miku learned she can reverse Mahito's ability on people to an extent (they will never be 100% as they were, but most of the complications will have gone away).
So yes, Miku is absolutely in this fight. I would say her, Kento, Yu, and Junpei have the most reasons for being the ones to fight Mahito. Even more so than Yuji or Miles in this case. (This will be explained more later on).
I honestly don't know how this fight would go because there are a LOT of people fighting Mahito, but he is hard to hit and also could easily turn the allies against each other if they get touched by his ability (and if Miku couldn't get to them in time).
Like there is no way that these people here would willingly let Mahito leave. He is going to have to die or kill everyone here to survive. At least with what we have here for people fighting.
Maybe Hanami, Jogo, and Dagon come in and stop Mahito because the solution to the world's collapse was finally figured out, but even then I don't see Mahito or the people he's fighting just stopping and going "Oh sweet! We're cool now!"
No. Mahito is most likely going to die. The only saving grace is that he would be able to respawn at some point unlike in canon where it is more of a permanent death most likely.
This would hit the other three disaster curses the hardest, but they know he will be back one day.
As for who kills him? I honestly want it to be Miku. I want her to be the one to do it. Something she never wanted to do was willingly take a life, but she is going to do it to make sure humanity isn't going to continue doing these fucked up situations (I don't think Miku would know about the reincarnation effect that curses, trolls, and vocaloids would have).
Honestly I don't even know if I want the reincarnation because it feels like it takes away so much of the impact of this fight. Maybe there is WAS a surefire reincarnation, but if the solution for saving the world is carried out, then the reincarnation process is no longer a thing that happens because the magic is not there to allow it.
So it would become a choice for the disaster curses to either force the solution to wait (possibly destroying the world in the process) in the hopes Mahito will respawn in time, or go through with saving the world and possibly never seeing Mahito again.
Either that or there is minecraft logic and Mahito wakes up in a bed he slept in earlier lol. It could be more like Don't Starve where you have a meat effigy or a tell-tale-heart to bring you back. Or even like the gems where Mahito just needs to reform (though it would be at a specific location and not right where he died, mainly because he doesn't have a gem or is made of light but could have a similar regeneration ability to the gems).
This is something I am gonna have to think about. But no matter what, Mahito is going to be defeated in a very brutal way that could potentially mean he is forever gone.
-Vs. Suguru:
Tumblr media
[VS Suguru: they are trying to win back Suguru with the power of Love And Incredible Violence]
Literally just the old care-bear stare or power of friendship beam directed right at Suguru point blank lol! (It just looks like Nightmare Moon turning back into Luna hehe). /j
This would most likely be the last fight out of every single one on this list. The solution to saving the world has been found (the solution where half the world doesn't have to die). And now all there is to do is to convince Suguru that it will work and to come back to the right side of things.
Absolutely Satoru and Suguru are gonna be beating the shit out of each other, but I can see Shoko also fighting because (small spoiler alert) Mahito got to it at some point and changed its body, almost killing it in the process if it wasn't for Shoko's incredible healing powers (most likely Miku was not around at that point to fix Shoko).
[Actually side note. Maybe because Mahito did attack Shoko, when Mahito was about to die, Suguru still did the absorption of Mahito? Like that was probably one of the few rules Mahito would have had to have followed was not attack certain people. Like Megumi, Shoko, Peni, but Mahito obviously didn't listen and ended up on Suguru's bad side, as well as everyone else's bad side lol]
Anyway, back to the fight. I don't honestly know how the fight would go to be honest. It would be very physical but also have a lot of downtime and talking, trying to convince each other to join their sides (Suguru wants Satoru and Shoko to see how making the world full of powered individuals, even if those individuals can't handle power and die as a result, is the right way, while Satoru and Shoko want Suguru to see their solution is one where people don't have to die at all!).
It would probably be a stalemate between the three, mainly because Satoru is not the over powered person like in canon, so blue and Suguru are honestly really close in power (both being over powered in terms of this universe though).
The turning point would be DJSS coming to help in this regard. I definitely feel like Suguru is going to need Nova to snap him out of the ideology that he has. Nova is like the only other person Suguru would ever listen to outside of his kids, Shoko, and Satoru (I will address Suguru's kids at some point, just not now).
I can see Nova being the reason that Suguru needs to accept the possibility that their solution to saving the world might work, and now he is going to work with them instead of fight against them.
(Sorry this one isn't the best, but there really isn't much to say other than Satoru and Suguru beat the crap out of each other while Shoko helps randomly and then Nova pops in).
//////////////////////
So yea! Those are a lot of the major fights in the Eriverse based off of this list! Don't know which ones will be more canon than the others, but here they are!
Funny how Mahito is like the only real casualty. He just... His actions are a LOT more difficult to forgive for our cast unfortunately. But don't worry! I'm sure he'll be fine!
There are absolutely more fights to be had than just these ones though! Like a lot of the smaller fights and supporting characters are the Psychonaut characters. They are the ones who start off saving people from mass attacks on civilians.
Then you also have the trolls and the Homestuck main cast who are doing things more in the digital space, where like Peni, Margo, and the Mermaids will be doing more of their fighting (along with others and this would also be how domains and stuff are explained).
You have the minecraft mobs and gems who weren't even mentioned in this list at all. Like the Enderdragon, Wither, and Warden are absolutely players int his world. White Diamond is more of a background character being set up for an even further future, but she will have gems by the sides of the curses and stuff fighting with them (being disposable enemies basically).
And that's not even getting into the barrier being broken between the collective unconscious and the real world! Something I haven't even had time to get into yet!
Like I said before, the Eriverse Future Act is a LOT bigger and more complex than the other acts. It takes on a lot of different fights and problems that need to be solved because of the magic system going haywire from an excess of untamed magic.
So while these are some of the more major/end fights, they are absolutely not all of them! :D

May have asked this before but… are Eri, Ilia, Ada (by extension Eloni, Brute? (Sorry I don’t know his name) and… Asa) going to be on the curses’ side of the conflict?
You got his name right! It's Brute! :D (and this has actually not been asked before!)
And this is probably a spoiler, but it will be a long time to get there so I'll just say it, but no.
The only one who will be on the Curses' side will be Ilia (and he will try to get them to let certain humans without powers live, like Asa).
The others, once they realize what the Curses and others are doing, are going to be fucking horrified. Well, Brute won't be horrified, but he's not gonna want to join the Curses.
Ada and Eri have reservations towards humans because of their treatment from humans (they, with Ilia, were memory experiments to see how implanted memories effect robots. Something that was never studied when it was going on during the Border Wars). So they aren't happy with humans, but don't want to actually cause harm to humans at all.
Brute doesn't care for humans, even dislikes a lot of them, but doesn't want to go around hurting them. He used to when he worked under Vandelay, but now he wants to just chill and stay away from humans (trying to get him and Ada to Robot City to try and minimize the interactions with humans).
And Eloni literally fought in a war to help humans. He, and most of the other 1010, have been trying to upgrade themselves to be indistinguishable from humans with biotech. There is no justification that the Curses could provide that would ever get Eloni on board with what the Curses are doing. If anything, she is going to just play along so that she can be a source of information to the people who need it that are fighting back (militaries and Psychonauts).
Asa wouldn't even be given the option to join their side at first. He is a human without powers or any tech, and so is seen as one of the options to turn. The only reason he isn't is because Ilia likes him too much and Hanami wants to please them. Otherwise, Asa would already have been changed by Mahito and possibly died (I mean, it also helps that Asa is Peni's cousin and Peni was friends with Suguru, but that fact would have come out too late if Ilia didn't vouch for Asa at first).
The whole thing with the Curses is absolutely going to cause a rift between Ilia and the rest of his friends. He sees this as a great opportunity for robots to be given a leg up in the world, as well as save the world from collapse. However, none of the rest actually believe in the world's end or that this will helps robots. Only that this plan is going to kill possibly millions of humans who can't get tech or can't survive the transifurgation and/or powerification process.
So, for now, it is just going to be Ilia joining the Curses (though that isn't to say the Curses won't still try to get other people on their sides, or that those people won't accept or at least entertain the idea).

Suggestion: why don’t you make the Disaster Curses (and maybe Suguru) be “misguided villains” who are being manipulated by Vandelay and Ratchet? (I don’t know how that would work but still)
(Almost forgot Ratchet was the villain in the Robots movie and honestly thought you meant Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank lol)
Argh! It's so hard answering this ask for some reason! Mainly because the Curses are misguided but it's not because of Vandelay and/or Ratchet manipulating them!
The Curses (along with basically everyone else) wants to save the world from collapsing in on itself and being destroyed due to the unchecked wild magic not bound to anything or anyone.
It's the WAY the Curses are going about it that turns them into villains in the story!
They are willingly sacrificing humans (and animals) to be conduits and containers for wild magic as a short term solution to the overflow problem the world is facing.
I think it's only when they meet Vandelay and Ratchet that they start working on long term solutions thanks to the help of robots and cyborgs. Humans, especially non powered or teched humans, will still absolutely be hurt by this long term solution.
The main goals for the two sides are different, the Curses and such want to save the world, while Vandelay and Ratchet just want money and power (mainly money).
It is only through a side goal that the two sides team up to try and work together: getting rid of non-powered or teched humans (either by killing them or turning them).
So while yes, the Curses are misguided and just want to preserve the world, the way they do it is horrible and not something that is going to make them the good guys at all. Especially as they don' see humans as equals a all. Just pawns. Insignificant life that does more harm than good (like how some humans see animals, especially ones deemed as annoyances or having no purpose).
If someone or something could come up with an entirely different strategy that would save the world without the pain and death of non powered and/or teched humans, then the curses would be willing to go that route instead. But since that is not an option (yet), the Curses will keep doing what they've been doing at the cost of human life.
It really is a "the ends justify the means" kind of mentality. Something other people in the Eriverse have had (Miguel and Neon J specifically come to mind). They were able to change their thinking, so having the Curses and other villains change their thought process is absolutely going to be an option (though not all of them are going to want or actually will change their minds).

Chai, Hobie and B2J! Your local rocker revolutionaries!
Let's do each of them right after their revolutions were done! (Or like, a week after to give them time to heal).
And for the sake of time travel shenanigans, let's say that none of them know of each other as individuals, but they do each explain the craaazy week that they just had so they know of the revolutions.
I can definitely see them all getting along, but honestly Chai is probably the odd-one-out as she had to basically be forced into her revolution compared to B2J and Hobie who willingly fought for their revolutions (though Zuke would have been a defender of Chai, explaining how he had to be convinced by May at first, but what matters is the fact that they all continued with the fight).
So yea, each have admiration for each other in what they were able to do against a bunch of shitty CEOs. Honestly, most of the time was probably spent talking about either the revolutions and how they went about doing what they did, or spent talking about music.
You better believe Chai was immediately up out of her seat when B2J finally got to talking about how they took down a mega music corporation (it went Chai first, then Hobie, then B2J talking about their respective revolutions).
Which prompted Hobie to talk about its musical background and how it learned from Ex-Jay (who B2J haven't met at this point but know about and absolutely started asking questions about them).
You know Hobie, May, and Zuke started to jam out and play some Ex-Jay songs they already knew. When they invited Chai to join, it was revealed that she doesn't actually know how to play a guitar yet.
And cue Hobie and Mayday spending the rest of the time teaching her cords and stuff while Zuke watches over and quietly and mindlessly plays his drums to keep a beat for Chai (and also mediating when May gets a bit too loud and defensive about her teaching methods when Hobie's methods clash with hers).
Overall the four get along really well! Chai is absolutely admiring these rockers (but also saying it was stupid to stay indie when given the chance to get big, which prompts Hobie talking about how corporations can corrupt people and now that Chai is gonna be working in Vandelay, she needs to make sure she doesn't forget about the little guys).

JJK spoilers: Mechamaru also gets Idle Transfigured and that’s how he gains a full body… (also Mahito’s Eriverse power is so fucking cool!!! So much potential… *evil grin* what if the HFR characters have an encounter with Mahito?)
Yea, a coworker told me about what happens to Mechamaru!
Also I'm glad you like his powers! I was in the car coming home from my sister's birthday dinner when it came to me! Had to make sure I wrote it down here so that I remember it (I had another idea for the curses, or for Soul Eater characters or SOMETHING to be in the Eriverse but I forgot during the ride)
And Mahito will definitely come into contact with HFR characters! That is definitely something I am planning on doing at some point! As of right now, the HFR bosses (who are still alive) and Mahito are on the same side with kinda similar goals (kinda being a key word, more like Mahito wanting "fun" and Kale and buddies able to exploit his version of "fun" in a really dangerous and messed up way for profit).

Maybe Rodney can give Chai and co some mech upgrades before they do their final battle!!!!!
I've decided to change the timeline around a bit, so at the point of the Tech Revolution Rodney is probably like 13 or something. About the time he starts trying to invent Wonderbot.
The reason for this is that the robots in Hi Fi Rush are being made very quickly and constantly. Even though there is a quality check, they are making a LOT of robots (at least under Kale's management). So having the whole "outmode" thing wouldn't really work as parts are definitely still being made at this time.
Which is why I'm moving the Robots plot to after the timeskip, when being an outmode is a much more possible outcome. Maybe Roxanne literally retires or ends up passing during that time, or maybe she is still around. No matter what, I think parts will always be made close to Vandelay Tech.
That means the Robots plot happens away from Vandelay (which is around California). And I already established a robot aesthetic for the New England area of the US with Eri and the gang.
In my head, the robotics companies in the UK look more steampunk-y or just obviously machine-like compared to any other robo company in the world. So having Bigweld Industry take place in the UK seems like a really good idea!
Vandelay robots over the 10 years (as well as robots from all over the world) are given more freedom and end up moving around. I don't know if a new city would be made called Robot City, at least not officially, but people around the world would just call it that as a nickname (like if someone says City of Light for France or the Music City for Vinyl City) since that is where a majority of robots head to.
So this city in the UK ends up making a company called Bigweld Industries, that has a pure robot for a CEO (perhaps the first robot to get to this kind of position? like sure 1010 are very high up, but they are mainly performers, and Neon J is a cyborg, not a robot so him being CEOs to his own companies are not the same).
But anyway! Rodney lived in Vandelay Technologies area for his childhood, and probably saw the Tech Revolution take place, and how Peppermint was able to fix people like Korsica up. But he also grew up hearing about the start up of Bigweld Industries and a city where robots are the majority and treated with respect.
I don't think every robot from the Robots story would have been created as a kid bot and grew up. Rodney was one, but Bigweld and Ratchet are robots similar to 1010 who were made to be a certain age and then grew from that point onward.
Like for years now there have been robots making other robots and treating them like family. Having the idea to create a child robot and upgrade them as they grew was not common (1010 being the first robots to truly do so, but that wasn't known to the public. Most robots either gained sentience randomly, or were given fake memories and then gained sentience after that).
I'm talking all over the place and some of these ideas aren't actually set in stone yet, but this is the overall idea that I am going for at the moment! The Tech Revolution being a start to the coming robot (and others) vs human conflict that will come after the 10 year time skip!
And honestly, I'm so happy that whoever said to add Robots into the Eriverse said that! Because it actually does help a lot in the future of this world that I was planning to play with!
[It's kinda funny how just adding Robots has made me think more about HFR. It makes sense! That was what I was going for! But now I need to make more of a focus on Psychonauts again. It's kinda weird though because I think Psychonauts fits more into the Past of the Eriverse more so than the Present or Future.
I definitely have plans for them, but they just take more of a backseat in the whole overall of the story. Maybe that's because they are a more downlow organization compared to everyone else. Only coming out when needed. So a story not FOCUSED on the internals of Psychonauts can't really have that much influence as they only appear at certain points]
