kuroo never leaves your apartment without tidying up after himself. you lean in to kiss his cheek while he's still drooling and snoring on your pillow and text him to just lock up when he leaves later and you never, never come home to messy sheets or used cups anywhere. when prompted about why he always makes your bed when you know he doesnt make his own in the mornings, he simply shrugs and goes "'was just taught to clean up after myself when i'm a guest." which catches you so off guard you end up laughing at him - but he's right. as you think back to any and all interactions kuroo's had with your home, it's always been polite and proper. you take his hand in yours and smile at him gently, convinced that there are hearts in your eyes, "y'know.. you don't have to be a guest here.. you do have a key... and a shelf in the closet.. and extra shoes and outerwear.."

kuroo beams. he sits upright suddenly and you can feel the tremble through the hand you're holding onto, "oh thank god, i'm so tired of making the bed!" he jokes and you punch his arm before he leans in to kiss you, "i'd really like that."
