rewriting western spaghetti and meatballs?? if i ever turn this into an actual script or fanfic it will be more out together these are just ideas

okay first i will say that this episode suffers from two big problems being that it takes place too early into the show's run for it to have the emotional impact it otherwise would've (because we aren't yet invested in louise's relationship with gene or bob) and that it was so early into the writing process that the writers didn't have a full understanding of the characters or their personalities yet. i dont think this episode is bad (its a product of the time it was written in the show's history) but i do believe i could fix it and it could have been a really interesting episode focusing on the relationship between gene and louise

bob and louise watching their tv together and gene walks in and joins them. bob and gene get really into watching westerns together just like in the episode and they bond over it but louise gets jealous and bob is talking to gene abt the movie and explaining stuff bcuz he figures louise already knows what's going on and she doesn't really need him but louise feels like bob is favoring gene and that he'd rather be spending time with him so she gets upset, says she's going to bed and leaves

i don't know what linda and tina's subplot would be but i probably wouldn't make it be an assembly about conflict resolution?? maybe linda just isn't a big part of this episode or she's helping tina with something and they're bonding so that adds to louise feeling left out and neglected. maybe they're putting on a cowboy play at school and tina is rehearsing her lines and it brings the cowboy theme back around

gene is excited about being a cowboy and spending time with his dad BUT HE ISNT TRYING TO START A FIGHT OR STAND UP TO SOME RANDOM KID AT SCHOOL that feels slightly out of character for gene (who is importantly portrayed as a pacifist in the show and almost never gets into conflict or fights with anybody, he typically avoids confrontation and thats why him standing up to some random classmate for?? stealing his jokes??? feels slightly ooc even if he WOULD get annoyed) and i think he works better in this episode if he is genuinely completely oblivious to the fact that louise is upset or jealous. he doesn't get into a fight with louise but he's busy doing something related to the play maybe he's playing a character or doing the music (and so is tina) so louise has to eat lunch alone and she's sad and feels like she's being left behind and that her family isn't including her. she's losing her siblings and her best friends

later that day louise asks gene to hang out with her and play a game together in her bedroom but he's too busy rewatching old western movies with their dad bcuz he wants to be prepared for his role in the upcoming play. bob invites her to join them but louise gets pissy and leaves to ask tina and her mom to hang out but they're ALSO busy rehearsing for the play and even tho they invite louise to help out she gets bored and she misses spending time with her brother so she gets the idea to sabotage the play somehow so that he'll HAVE TO hang out with her again

louise convinces some friends (maybe rudy and millie) to help her sabotage the play tomorrow night and they're like hesitant (aka rudy is hesitant and millie is totally on board) but eventually agree to helping her and she basically just fucks with every aspect of production like the actors and props and costumes. she feels guilty but convinces herself this is for the greater good bcuz otherwise she'll lose her brother forever and he's her best friend

gene's big role in the play comes up and she sabotaged it so that the actor he was performing alongside got sick or locked in a closet or something and she actually feels really bad so she throws on their costume and joins the play. she doesnt know any of the lines so she just improvises (kinda like how bob did in hawk and chick) and gene realizes she fucked everything up and gets kinda upset but she tells him that he's her best friend and they do everything together. they've always had each others backs and she's scared of losing him or that he'll be too busy to hang out with her anymore she doesn't know what she'll do without him

maybe there would be like a clipshow of them growing up together but ALSO bobs burgers doesn't typically do moments like that so it might feel slightly off or won't work thematically?? idk

gene tells louise that he loves spending time with her and they do everything together and just bcuz he does things without her sometimes that doesn't mean he doesn't want to spend time with her etc and he ALWAYS wanted to watch the western movies with her but she seemed kinda pissy about it so he left her alone but they'll always be siblings and hang out together and maybe next time gene is in a school performance louise can act alongside him :)

linda and tina have a b-plot thats related to the play and maybe linda is either living out her own failed middle school performance through tina or otherwise being slightly overbearing and annoying but its not the main focus

if this were an actual piece of writing it would be MUCH MORE focused on the relationship between louise and gene and how they communicate/feel about each other bcuz usually their relationship is just "they hang out together and cause problems and gene goes along with whatever louise does" but there's a lot more stuff going on between them clearly as we see in the large brother where fart thou episode AND in spaghetti western and meatballs

in my head there’s a companion piece to like the sun that’s a mai POV that bops back and forth in time to explore her relationships with ty lee and azula and zuko. also largely abt her sense of sexuality and gender, particularly as 1. someone who meets/exceeds basically every fire nation beauty standard and 2. as the spitting image of her mother (who she does not have a gr8 relationship with). mailee endgame of coooourse

like the sun sequel, wherein zuko becomes izumi’s father. how, u ask? he’s doing his blue spirit thing when he shouldn’t be and he comes across a mother and her newborn (i named her izumi, mama says, because i discovered i was carrying her when visiting the spring at the temple); the mother dies, z can’t save her, but he can’t just leave the baby. how hard can it be to take care of a child, anyway? he brings izumi back to the palace and is like, can i get a wet nurse? and everyone LOSES their shit. ‘fire lord zuko how did u end up in possession of a baby?’ ‘she’s mine,’ he says and refuses to elaborate. the staff finds a wet nurse and gossip starts flying around, all omg the fire lord had a secret baby mama somewhere. when sokka first hears abt izumi he freaks the fck out — not b/c he thinks z had an affair (the thought doesn’t even cross his mind), but b/c he’s like 1. this baby is now a part of z’s life, this is immutable fact 2. i am part of z’s life 3. omfg i’m supposed to be part of the baby’s life?? that’s a degree of commitment and faith in the future that I DONT KNOW HOW TO PROCESS. like a nerd sokka doesn’t tell z any of this. shenanigans and misunderstanding as z embraces fatherhood super enthusiastically and sokka’s brain is short-circuiting and constantly being witness to all these dadko moments

percy/annabeth from pjo boarding school summer-before-senior-year-college-tour-roadtrip au!! bounces between the summer and the journey it took for them to become friends and end up on this roadtrip. annabeth POV, the slow realization that there’s something more to life than, like, grades and good colleges and career success.

making a quick ref for a canon character as if he is my damn oc. he might as well be

since i didn't type a summary like i did on my others refs bc i got lazy i will do it real quick here. keep in mind that i. pretty much entirely disregard canon DR and engage in oc x canon so expect both of those things here

so in my silly little hc. yuta kinda lives in hina's shadow. his family doesn't mean to make him feel like that but it does happen. he still loves them and just tends to hold his tongue about it, but it's really demoralizing - sure, he's good at things, but he never gets the same fanfare as his older sister. it kinda gives him imposter syndrome.

yuta's grades were sort of all over the place. he is not stupid. not by any means! but he's sort of been made to believe that. he's not good at math. he's probably not aware of it, but he has dyscalculia. he can't focus on english and writing essays. his ADHD does not allow it because he has no interest in it. he doesn't really know he's ND. he just thinks he's stupid and lets people joke about it and tries to laugh it off. it hurts, though.

you know what he is good at, though? marine biology. he's been fascinated with sea animals since he was little and it carried over through his whole school career. it's a bit jarring to see his grades in math classes compared to bio. he doesn't really talk about it because he sees it as kind of embarrassing and he's self-aware of how excitable he can get about it. he's been shut down and talked over in the past.

he is trans. he realized this in his early teens and struggled for a while because he still liked to be feminine to an extent but that sorta gave him even More imposter syndrome this time abt being trans. he cuts his own hair and probably got both top and bottom surgery as soon as he could. hina helped fund it! she is a good sister <3

he didn't really like... know what to do when he graduated. he felt pressured to get higher education but didn't really want to and didn't even know what he'd go for. instead, he decided to put it off if he decided to go at all. he works at an aquarium to fuel his interest in marine biology and is particularly fond of the otters.

aaand now we arrive in oc x canon territory. he and hina used to walk to a local arcade a lot and play the games there. yuta wanted so badly to get the top score on a specific game, but the leaderboards were always topped by the same three-letter name; ARC. he's there all the time and has never seen them. if someone beats the score, it's right back the next day. one day hina forgets her wallet and runs home to grab it and leaves yuta there. he's about 15 or 16 at the time, so he can handle himself. and that's when he sees someone his age at the machine he's always trying to beat. they clearly know what they're doing, and he starts watching in hopes of taking notes so he can do the same.

and then they notice him.

he gets a little flustered and says he didn't mean to stare and explains that he wants to get good at the game and noticed they were great at it. he asks them if they're that ARC person that's always on the board. he nods and introduces themself as arcade! they hit it off pretty well and arc teaches him the ins and outs of the game. by the time hina gets back she sees them hanging out and before long all three of them are getting along. arc sorta becomes their gaming buddy when they're there and eventually yuta's closest friend.

arc is transmasc and doesn't conform to typical gender norms like. at all. he's unapologetically feminine all while being brash as hell when he's fully opened up to yuta. it ultimately helps yuta ease his fear of expressing any femininity.

when they graduate, arc tries to take a year of university and drops out because he hates it so much and like. it's... not a good time for him. very heavy! he was originally gonna take a gap year but felt pressured to go to college. after some much needed comforting he and yuta plan to move into an apartment together. this does indeed come to fruition. and that's pretty much the abridged deal up to the present. yes they are a little gay. i am gonna cap this ramble off now so i can go eat some cereal

also his interest in track started because he loved (and still loves) sonic as a kid i do not take critism i am right

rebecca sent her to boarding school for a while following an Event in luna's childhood that made rebecca feel like wayhaven wasn't safe for the time being, she had lots of fun but that's kind of the time when luna started to worry she'd done smth wrong and that's why rebecca didn't want her around, since she'd kind of blocked out the Incident

many nervous habits! including but not limited to: cleaning her glasses, braiding small strands of her hair, jostling her leg, cracking her knuckles

she is actually v smart! in a book sense at least :0 she's clever and good at solving puzzles, and she remembers a lot of rlly obscure info abt lots of things- look into her eyes and you can basically hear the mii music playing, but she is intelligent!

lots of her favorite books are from the golden age of detective fiction! she also reads a lot of poetry and history books, and loves nonfiction :D she's a sucker for any book with really in depth worldbuilding and/or a map on the front inside cover- she DID read the entire silmarillion AND enjoy it! she loves animated and stop-motion movies, laika is her Favorite studio and she owns every studio ghibli movie

she loves any food or drink where the main ingredient is sugar <3 catch her eating lucky charms dry straight from the box! she'll only drink coffee if it has like. vanilla or sm other sweet flavoring added to it along with 12 packs of sugar

her sleep schedule.... oh no! she had insomnia even before murphy, and now with the nightmares, it's even worse :( it's ok though! she uses the nighttime to work on art or baking or writing etc.

she listens to lots of indie/folk music- the oh hellos are one of her favorite bands! also she's a big fan of fun pop music- carly rae jepsen, bleachers, hayley kiyoko, HAIM, etc. also smdfnsj she Does listen to lofi music

she's loved chess since she was a kid and often plays against herself or another opponent- she also usually has a puzzle she's working on, and really likes crossword puzzles/sudoku games!

background noise is a Friend <3 it rlly helps her focus!

she loves her potted plants a lot! she has very detailed instructions on how to take care of them and she does talk/sing to them to help them grow

her house Looks minimalist? she values the aesthetic but she cannot commit- open any drawer in her house and you'll find like 7000 receipts she hasn't thrown out yet

she is Sweet but! untapped Rage is there... she has a tendency to bottle things up until one tiny thing makes her Go Off with all the stress and anger she's been holding back :( she Will cry and yell and then be completely horrified and spend the next 3-4 weeks apologizing profusely

she feels bad about. Everything :( she blames herself a lot,, it's easier to tell herself that things are going wrong bc it's her Fault and she did smth wrong rather than accept that it's out of her control

on that subject things with rebecca are Awkward!! they kind of drifted apart and luna feels like she shld have tried harder to keep in touch

her primary love language... probably words of affirmation or physical affection! she's very open w her affections and telling/showing people she loves them (to the extent they're comfortable with it! she prefers to let whoever she's with dictate the pace of the relationship)

dracula ep 2 - observations

ahhh! the scene is set and i cannot wait for more agatha 

so we open up onto dracula’s castle? i think 

dracula and my beloved aggie are in a room together

wait so are they buddies now? drac’s not trying to eat her or anything, which i find suspicious

there’s a chess game going on with some symbolism i am too tired to grasp

drac starts telling agatha about the voyage he made to england 

scene changes to a ship and the captain having a nightmare about a dismembered hand? idk

now we meet a passenger, dr sharma who’s looking at a body or something

it’s the “grave the children complained about” ??? i’m getting lucy vibes 

the coffin/body is 70 yrs old but there’s fresh scratches on the lid! i wonder where this is going 

ew a very gross body rises out of the coffin 

scene change! we meet a dead guy, piotr

his mum/sister/relative is saying he was going to be a sailor but he died before he could, and there’s this very suspicious guy sweeping in a doorway and listening to the conversation

but then a nun closes the door and locks him in his room

and then the lady relative is told by the priest to stab w/ a stake piotr and she does. wise move, ma’am

this is all taking place close to a shipyard/dock 

oooh suspicious guy is going to the ship and impersonating piotr! interesting 

so it’s established that the one-handed guy from the nightmare the captain had is coming back on the ship. apparently it was the captain’s fault he lost his hand, but the nice one-handed guy is making a joke out of it and it’s all very friendly, but it still haunts our cap i guess

lord and lady ruthven are coming aboard the ship. they just got married, and it’s all very exciting 

the lord jokes about “making it a long voyage” (wink wink) to cap (comedic genius right here) and then this guy who introduced him is like “oh, it will be” we’ve got so many suspicious characters already, i feel so blessed!!

okay - i’ll call the guy who’s pretending to be piotr fake piotr to avoid confusion and i’ll call the other suspicious guy (i think he’s lord and lady ruthven’s servant/secretary? he’s got pretty nice clothes, idk) bob 

there’s an old guy who approaches fake piotr like “are you as inexperienced as you look? are you scared?” and he’s like well yeah and the other guy goes “me too.” ???? that’s reassuring!! 

ah the doctor (i forget his name) and his daughter are boarding 

dracula boards openly as himself because THAT’S a good idea 

agatha, of course, echoes my thoughts and drac’s like “what do you think i would’ve done, lie around in a box for 4 weeks?” uh, yeah, you’re a fucking vamipre

anyway, back to the ship. fake piotr is about to enter a room (no. 9) but this crewmember comes up to him and goes nah you can’t go in there these passengers are sick (he sounds like he’s lying) and fake piotr is like okay thanks i won’t do that then 

there’s fucking flies EVERYWHERE on this ship jesus 

like i get they’re undead and it’s symbolic and suspenseful or whatever but it’s also fucking GROSS

anyway drac comes up to the crewmember, who for some reason is listening at the door of no. 9, and says some creepy stuff to him (turns out he’s from bavaria. this may be relevant later?)

so fake piotr is from romania and he’s boring the handless guy with his “story” - the handless guy points out that it sounds SUPER fucking fake. anyway time for dinner!

so now they show the fancy dining room and lord whatever is there w/ bob (his name’s adisa, actually) and adisa’s like ooh this wine isn’t good i don’t like it and then they argue whatever and the doctor interjects 

OH MY GOD! adisa and the lord are together! the lord’s like you know this marriage is a necessary evil and adisa’s like yeah but it hurts. :,( i feel him man

drac introduces himself to the old lady, bla bla, and then he drinks this crewman’s blood and like absorbs his mannerisms (and his german)

god this is boring i want more of my tragic gay love story 

turns out drac and the old lady (who is a duchess) danced together on her 18th birthday? okay? i don’t care where’s adisa 

and that’s the night the duchess’s mother disappeared. great. 

now drac drinks the old lady’s blood

there’s a fog around the ship... it seems to be following them... how mysterious...

okay now drac is creeping out fake pietro by telling him a gross story because he was looking in a barrel? I DON’T CARE WHERE IS ADISA

ahh finally adisa’s back. so dorabella (the gay lord’s wife) is tired (and everyone else is like OOHhoo i wonder why) but drac seems to be on to them. uh oh

honestly other than agatha adisa and the lord are the only characters i actually want to have a happy ending 

okay everyone’s asleep but doc, and he’s having flashbacks or whatever to that body from before 

he gives his sleeping daughter (who’s mute + deaf, btw, forgot to mention that) a touching little monologue abt how there’s monsters in this world and he’ll protect her (that sounds sarcastic but it actually is sweet) 

lady whatever (gay’s wife) goes out on deck in the night, for a walk, but meets dracula out there 

he’s kinda flirting/talking w/ her outside but she’s obviously in love with her husband, unfortunately

m’lady reveals she’s going to america

Song of the day is ELVIS by AOA. My favourite workout bop. Silver got voted out! So sad, I wanted to play with him. But also, kinda cool! This is the only game I have played where I truly didn't know anyone (except my very first ORG). What an experience. I know last confessional I said Sam and Shane were both kinda on the fence for me in terms of if I wanted to maybe work with them or not. An update: I think I want to work with both! Both of them, unprompted, told me they wanted to work with me if we lost immunity, and I have actually been getting along well with both of them I feel now that our conversations are moving past the sort of awkward beginning stages. I still like Sammy even though I probably should talk to him more oops... and Daisy/Lovelis/Ethan are also still in my good books. I kind of keep forgetting Pete and Cloud are on this tribe but when I remember, I am happy they are here. That being said, I think Cloud or Madison will be the first to go if we lose. Cloud is very inactive. Madison is too but she was at least on the call tonight. It might come down to how immunity goes. I want to participate because it will bond us as a team. That way even if we lose, I was a part of the team effort and won't stand out as someone who people don't know or want to work with. Also while I personally want Cloud or Madison out as I know them the least, I am not going to push it. I'll let somebody else throw out a name and as long as that name isn't Jessica then I will consider it. I sort of chilled today with the social game and only messaged people as they messaged me. The vibe of this team is very relaxed from what I can tell and I didn't want to overdo it with conversations and come across as too much. Tomorrow, my goal is to talk to every single person for at least 1 (one) whole real conversation. I might have to start using my good ol' tactic of sending people random youtube links and saying "what do you think of this" to get something going.... Honestly nothing starts a conversation like David Hasselhoff and his cinematic masterpieces that we call music videos. WE ARE IMMUNE!!! I’m so excited to have flipped the vote on Silver AND got us immunity but, I’m gonna have to be more careful if I’m gonna go far in this game. I know I can be strategic, I can be a comp threat but I really have to work on making myself a little dimmer in the social department. If we swap or merge obviously down the line, I feel like I’m gonna have a LOT of different potential paths to the end but, it won’t matter if they all realize that. ROBB STARK

Geez buckle up kids because Robb Stark means a lot to both me & Sansa you all have no idea.  Except maybe you will , because I WEEP over them all the time.

Her dreams of knights and stuff -- where do you think she got that ?? fuCKING ROBB STARK THAT’S WHERE.  It’s really underrated but that idealism, robb has a bit of it too and as kids they were definitely tight. They bonded through dreams and songs of knights and fair ladies. They probably played games of pretend like most children did. Sansa was the fair maiden and he would save her. Every single time. 

And somewhere that shifted to expectations of reality, that he would always be there to fight for her and save her. The amount of times she thinks about Robb when trapped in King’s Landing is, intense. He is her hope for escape, ( while she is working on her own to get out at some point , Robb is always the back of her mind, a swift swipe which could end the horrors. a shining beacon of hope ). 

Constantly, she thinks to herself how Robb will come and kill them all. She prays that Robb will come for her, she prays for Robb. He is also a huge source of strength:

“ I must be brave like Robb,”

Sansa thinks of him constantly and I imagine there’s sadness there, for now he is a king. But she knows him as the boy smiling with snowflakes in his hair, and despite how much he might have matured and been forced to grow up like she was, he would always be that boy with snowflakes in his hair.

So losing Robb, it was more than losing a brother she was close to. It was losing hope. It was losing all signs of an incoming victory. and it was losing her brother which is still valid and heartbreaking .

And this one line, it just always gets to me:

“it was Robb she wept for”

With my portrayal moving forward, I just find Robb super important to her for all of the above. And as her time as Lady of Winterfell into the role of Queen, so much of her decisions and fears were based on Robb.  On what Robb wanted for the North.  On fearing a repetition of his mistakes.

And when sitting on that throne, crowned queen of the north, it’s Robb her heart can imagine smiling down upon her.

JON SNOW

Okay going to try and not make this one long either but this dynamic is incredibly complex and I have a lot of thoughts on it so, deep breathes, here we go . . . 

Let’s start with childhood, where Sansa cites in the show that she was AWFUL to Jon, and in a way, yes . But it was not verbal abuse or torment, it was a different sort of awful and I need to make that clear. Sansa was very close to her mother in her youth and followed mother’s example in most things, including the treatment of a bastard boy.  It was tiny acts like always referring as “ half” brother, and mostly ignoring / not paying him much attention.

Though there is one quote where she compares him taking black to being a dark knight – and this one line, it sort of made me wonder if this girl who relied so much upon songs to form her views of the word- if growing up she wasn’t sure where he fit in her song / narrative ? In what tale is there a BASTARD hero ?  Sansa, who wants everything perfect and simple, Jon does not fit those boxes perfectly, so she mostly had nothing to do with him? 

It was much apathy than cruelty back then. but I also refuse to believe they didn’t have ANY good moments. If they did, it was just hardly spoken of, overall, neither really got to know the other.

Now, Jon doesn’t really come up much until she is gone from home for a while and as a side thought how she would even like to see Jon again. Because although never close as kids, it’s still a reminder of home she craves. It’s not until her time as Alayne stone that deeper connection and understanding forms. Which is why I find this storyline vital - for it leads true apology and sentiments during reunion based on similar experiences. 

“ i am a bastard too now, just like him. oh it would be so sweet to see him once again” - her experiences she faces as Littlefinger’s bastard, it has her open her eyes more on how Jon must’ve felt, and puts her in a position to easily empathize, and that is going to make all the difference upon a reunion. It’s Jon her experiences remind her of, and she feels regret for all that happened. It’s him that she actually longs to reunite with for more than the fact of family, that she owes an apology and longs to make things right. 

Now, we don’t have them having met up in the books, but I love how the show built their relationship and I am completely on board with it. The reunion is something as mentioned, she longs for but also fears, because he has every right to hate her. And when he forgives her so quickly in the show, there’s so much relief, and I believe immense warmth from her end. Because they were far from close and how much upfront loyalty and solace they find in one another, it’s super heartwarming and means a ton.

They really benefit a lot from each other. Let’s be real, she is one of few who can make him genuinely smile.  He is the first bit of her family she meets after years away and she gets attached very quickly. There are of course disagreements, frustrations when he won’t listen to her. But despite all of that, she still has his back and would fight for him. As we have seen countless times before.

It’s a journey for her, and by the end he is part of the pack and will ALWAYS be her brother. Even when learning the truth of his heritage, she will now always see him as such.

BRAN STARK

Now Bran is going to be mostly headcanon based because ahdjshfj we needed more of him with any of his siblings that would’ve been cool. But okay, Sansa and he totally bonded over stories as children. But she also mommed him a ton, would try and act like mum which was probably immensely irritating to him, but you know siblings. they squabble.

We also need to address when she was leaving bran when he was near death, to go South. King’s Landing was a dream, Joffrey was a dream to her. But despite all this excitement, leaving at that moment guilted her , she had dreamed of leaving but not like this. And for the first week on the road, it was nonstop prayers and embroiding articles he may enjoy when he was better.  Bran was constantly on her mind. And when he woke up, you cannot convince me otherwise that Sansa didn’t try sending him letters of even smaller topics to cheer him up.

Bran was her little brother, and I feel like she really coped in King’s Landing by seeing bits of him in Tommen .  Also, Bran’s ‘death’ and the burning of Winterfell ? destroyed her and made her probably the angriest she has ever been. To the point that she thought the worst of Theon and wished the worst for a while in anger for what he did to Bran and Rickon. 

And when she imagines her future children while coping with her present situation, there’s always a boy who loves to climb like Bran did , who shares some of his features. And those details in a mentally safe spot for her means so much. Now years later upon the reunion . . .  I cannot speak to how this will be pulled off in the books, all I have is show material to go off of for this but . .. 

Fuck you D&D for making Bran robotic . . .

Like, yes he can be overwhelmed with a new identity and endless knowledge but it doesn’t have to turn him to a flat character with no emotional capability. In my mind here is how their reunion and relationship goes. 

They are both incredibly dry and sarcastic with that Stark Snark, They side-eye a lot and share a lot of inside jokes but both keep really fucking good poker faces. They also BOND OVER RESILIENCE AND SURVIVAL without obnoxiously bringing up some triggering memories bluntly cough cough . 

And okay, but bran is different as three-eyed raven and I can recognize that to extents --- but he is still Bran and her brother and she loves him and tears up seeing how far he’s come and she misses him though. Sansa will never stop seeing him as her brother and do everything to try and pull out fondness and emotional capability.

RICKON STARK

This will probably be 99% headcanons but this is just as important to me.

Look, Sansa loves babies and she was at an age to absolutely play with baby Rickon all the time ( and by play, I mean young enough to mistake him as a doll and try to play mother with him, like she would come by and snatch that baby ) .  

Rickon is also described as wild as a winter storm, and I feel like Sansa was one of the few soothing presences for him as a kid, who knew how to try and ease his energy without encouraging it. She was balance and stability for him. And Rickon was wild but someone she vowed to protect as a good sister.

They shared a bed during nightmares. A lot of what Sansa picked up to care for Robin after he lost his mother came from comforting Rickon and his fears , she knows what can calm the nerves from what works with him. 

Now, same headcanong as in Bran’s in regards of her anger regarding Bran & Rickon’s ‘ deaths’ at the hands of Theon and the burning of her home.

Sansa, she mourns the man rickon could’ve become, and it’s something she constantly imagines. It makes her sad, to know the potential there was. And she is left with so many unanswered questions.

I just, we don’t get much and what we do in the show is kind of gross like um why didn’t she mourn??? Because Rickon was pushed to the side in the show but he would be mourned !! except hey he is still alive and they reunite. 

They WILL reunite, and find solace in each other. He would be the wild to her rationale. She, his impulse control. She will see so much of Robb in him as he grows up. Rickon would stay in Winterfell by her side, and together they’d find good policy. 

Sansa will be there to see him grow up, and that means so much to her.
