hey guys, my name is sai and i write fantasy. i died in hiatus (again, what’s new) for a while but now i am back (again), and will be gone (again) probably but i’ll be around for the month at the very least since i want to write things and share them. also some of my friends joined writeblr and while i peruse their work for the very first time, i wanted to catch up with the works of my older friends and see how things are going for them. very excited to see what’s new! woo!!

i’ve introduced my wips only about a hundred times, but for those who have never heard of them before please feel free to check out my main three wips here. and for those who are more interested in my newer works and updates, feel free to take a look at the stuff i’ve hidden under the cut!

update #1 ▸ i may have been dead on here, but i never stopped writing (as much as a working adult life has allowed me to anyway). i’ve modified things in a bazaar for magic that i am slowly creating pages for in my blog. you can see the beginnings of it in the character page i started late last year and the world page i have yet to begin. to give you a teaser: i’m currently working on something for abfm’s magic system i’m calling thematic magic on a whim. it is very, very hard for my brain (why do i do this to myself) and honestly a little surreal.

update #2 ▸ speaking of modifying things, i’ve renamed grave mercy - which for now i will temporarily refer to as: vampire swordswoman wip - because yes that’s a thing - & started expanding the world which i will share one day in a page here as well!! not sure when, as abfm is my priority right now, but stay tuned. (i promise you will be rewarded, if you’re patient enough sdksksk.)

update #3 ▸ i've also recently started writing a novella as an exercise that takes place in the same universe as a florist’s guide to twisting time !! i’m posting every update up on wattpad because an open novella contest is going on there right now which - by eerie coincidence - suits the idea of my novella very, very well. i also submit parts of it to @redbeanpress if you would like to view it there!! (p.s.: i highly recommend following their monthly issues. they always get the best writers from the community. i also highly recommend you submit to them, if you can!!)

tldr; what the heck is happening? the answer is: a lot. a lot is happening.
