I’mma be honest that I completely forgot to upload a few comics until after I finished this so blame this sketchdump for why I had a triple upload

I tried to make this more Amphibian based than Sashannarcy/Earth based like the last several.

1. Polly became the youngest frog to graduate from Newtopia U. Getting one of the first degrees in Robotics, she got in through a combination of her high intellect and using Sprig’s Scholarship (which he wasn’t going to use anyways). 2. Based on an interview that I think I saw that Matt saying Anne was prematurely going grey due to high stress which considering all she went through and she still has becoming a god coming up...yeah, its no wonder she’d go grey early. Tho’ she dyes it and no one knows except now her girlfriends. 3. Grimes would be both the best babysitter and the worst. 4. Sprig writing letters to Anne as a way to talk to her, he would carry a few of his recently written ones on him in case he finds a portal like the one Terri opened and he could get them through. I think I’ll make a full comic of this concept later on.

Since that last episode of Melon’s Adventure isn’t done yet, here’s something to tide ya’ll over a tad! Concept sketches of the giiiiiiiiirls! owo

I originally wanted to do these three AND Pauline, but I never got around to Pauline so I figured I could go ahead and post these. I’ll probably try to make a full sketchdump for Pauline to make up for her lack of being here though. o3o Anyway, some funfacts and thoughts on these:

I really liked how feisty Peach was in the movie so I decided I wanted to mix that in with how I personally see her. I see Peach as a woman who is unapologetically girly, and has a wild, adventurous side. I tried to make show that by filling her out a little more, largely by giving her more angles than I previously had when I drew her. Basically, a bit more box-y and not entirely soft. owo

Then there's Daisy! Since Peach, Pauline, and Rosalina all have long hair, I wanted to contrast that with Daisy by giving her much much shorter hair. I also tried to make her a little more masculine and a tad rough. Finally, her eyes; nearly every character (with the exception of Bowser) in Super Mario has blue eyes. While I've already broken that canon, I decided to try out something a lil extra with Daisy by giving her red eyes instead the original green I gave her. It surprisingly fits! o3o

And of course Rosalina! I really like her base design, as I do for all the characters honestly. But I also wanted to try and make her look far less like Peach than she does in game, so I played with her facial features a little bit. I wanted her to look visually older than either Peach or Daisy; physically around the same age as Pauline, even if she herself is thousands and thousands of years old. Given my headcanon around her, I was hoping to make her look a little... tired. Being an immortal goddess comes with many pitfalls, one of which is her being kinda lonely, and I was hoping to convey that in her design. She's sweet as she can be, but there's always some sort of longing about her, if that makes sense. Good thing she makes friends this time! ;w; I'm not terribly sure about her hair overall, and her side profile gave me so much trouble, but I think it's in a place I can accept it at least.

The other day I was looking at fanarts of something else done by an artist I like, and a long haired character had totally the Iori vibes and well... long haired!Iorin happened. In my headcanons of him being super busy with his band, it would makes sense for him not having time to cut his hair while working on recording a new album.

Wanted to do headcanon sketchdump for my Lumity fankid Azura Noceda-Blight (and this has no mention of any Amphibia stuff)

1.Azura is friends with the original Hexsquad's kids but she has 3 of her own friends outside of those. Names and tracks unknown atm except that one of them (the fanged beast witchling) has a crush on Azura who doesn't know but it's obvious. 2. No matter what, just like with most grandmas, Camila must feed her grandbaby a feast. 3. Azura doesn't have many human friends but she has at least 2 in Gravesfield that she hangs out with when she's at Grandma Camila's place for the summer. Just like with the Hexside friends, no names atm. 4. Not 100% on this design for the Huntlow kid. I know most people use Ivy for their daughter but I wanted something from both of them and tried to look up a Puritan plant name but found nothing but Deliah which I like but not that much. So I went with Paulina which was Willow's original name in the test pilot. Her middle name which she prefers is more plant like but idk what it is atm. She has the same fashion sense as Hunter on Earth. 5. Amity quickly banned Eda from babysitting Azura alone after seeing Azura pickpocket people while they were at the market. Azura is out of practice and doesn't do that anymore...to randos. 6. Being in the Bard track, Azura has gotten several awards thanks to both covers of earth songs and her own original work.

Once I figure out more stuff, especially with the other og hexsquad, then I'll do a sketchdump with them and I'd like to do more comics with Azura and her friends too.
