Xifeng's feelings about Trent are complicated. On the one hand she van finally breathe about the fact that she's no longer on the wire of his wrath. She also doesn’t know what to do with herself after. Her life had been built around being a volstrucker and with that no longer needed she is sent adrift. Every skill she’s honed has been under him and other assembly members. She doesn’t know who she is without them. Anonymous asked: lavender :   how easy is it to gain your muse’s trust ? once their trust is broken ,   how might one go about mending it ? (for xifeng)

Xifeng grew up in business even before the Academy. Gaining real trust outside of superficial things is hard. Mending it is some even harder because once she trusts someone she trusts them implicitly. She’ll need time because at first it will be met with just hurt and anger, more than anything she’ll need to know why  that trust was broken. Promises and apologies mean next to nothing if their is no follow through or action in those regards.

Xifeng small bio

Xifeng is the daughter of seafaring merchants. Her parents dealt in fabrics and spices more than anything else. She started her foray into the arcane studies as a way to help her family in their work. Eventually her skills picked up the eyes of the Cerberus Assembly and she was admitted into the Soltryce Academy.

She picked up the eyes of both Trent and Ves and in turn gained tutelage under Trent with the occasional lesson with Ves. As a true neutral she doesn’t always agree with the Cerberus Assembly but also knows speaking out means death. She tows the line with what is expected of her and often finds herself tip-toeing the line of treason when it suits her goals and wants.

For the most part she is a free floating sort of person enjoying travel when possible. She does best on missions of information or missions that require more standard means of travel as she still has ties through her family to trade routes.

RELIGION: She’s not really religious, her family secretly worshiped Avandra and so when it comes down to it that is the one she feels the most connected to

MOVIE GENRE: Historical Dramas are her main favorites followed by documentaries.
