So, I wanted to ask if you had any headcanons for the sonic kids in situations of bring your kid to work day.

Like Tom bringing the kids to patrols or the office and Maddie taking them to the veterinary clinic (I think that's how it's spelt).

Hi! Tom and Maddie taking the kids to work seems like a recipe for disaster waiting to happen XD. But at the same time, it could be a day where they learn more about their boys, in more ways than one.

Tom’s job at the sheriffs office:

Tom has had experience on how to bringing kids along to work due to him taking Sonic into the office from time to time. The only difference is that he has to take 3 of them and tries to keep an eye on, which proves to be pretty hectic.

Since he’s the sheriff, it means that he’s at the station for majority of the day so he definitely tries to keep them entertained for as long as he can while trying to do his job.

Having them just sitting around the office is proven to be a bad idea after 15 minutes due to them getting into mischief or in mostly Tails and Knuckles’ case, curiosity as to how everyone works in the office. It usually ended up with all three of them messing with the other officers including Wade who honestly tries his best but did not sign up to be a part time babysitter to his best friends children with no warning.

When he does take them on patrols, Sonic usually tries to “race” the cruiser by basically keeping up with it. Tails is in the passenger seat, taking notes on all the devices the car has and attempts to convince Tom to let him drive for a bit to no avail. Knuckles is just chilln on the roof of the car, says it makes him feel “like he can see any invaders that come their way.”

Lunch breaks would just be Tom telling them, “You can take what looks appetizing but nothing with too much sugar, otherwise your mom will murder all of us for that.” They didn’t listen of course.

Afterwards, he lets them sort out some paper work for some of the employees that weren’t there that day. Tails mostly got his pile done while Sonic made paper airplanes and little statues from paper clips while Knuckles kept breaking the keys on the boards and the back up keyboards.

Near the end of his shift, he gives them one more chance to try to do something that won’t end in chaos as a result. Helping the local flock of ducks cross the road.

The task is proven to be a success with each of them stopping traffic safely and guiding all of the ducks across the street, save for one that tried to attack Sonic after he tries to pick up one of the ducklings,

Eventually, Tom does let Tails try driving the cruiser for a bit in one of the empty parking lots near the office, but only if he’s sitting with him in the passenger seat and is driving under 15 miles. The kid still enjoys it regardless.

At the end of the day, he doesn’t mind spending time with his boys at his job, he just won’t do it every week…or every other month.

Maddie’s job at the clinic

The Wachowski bros spending the day at the clinic is a different experience than going to the sheriff’s office. What’s one way to get a kids attention and keep them busy for a while? Surround them with cute animals, even if the kids themselves are animals.

Maddie would let them help out with the less complicated stuff since they’re not familiar with everything, like refilling the dry food bowls in the cages or walking some of the older dogs around the property.

But for most of the day, she just lets them hang out in the room where adoptees can play with puppies and kittens before they adopt them. Sonic’s been in there on a few occasions but tries not to get too aquatinted with the puppies since he thinks he’ll betray Ozzie’s trust if he does.

Knuckles is more fond of the kittens, he finds the sounds of their tiny purring rather soothing and calming. At one point he’s surrounded by a whole litter of them while they nap in his arms, on his legs and on his head and refuses to move in order of not disturbing them

Tails, oddly enough, prefers going into the room where they house birds who are injured and are there for a check up. He mostly spends the time watching them fly around, having small conversations with some that are able to talk and studying their wing span and taking notes on how different earth’s birds are than the ones from his home planet.

On this certain day however, they get a call about a stray mutt that was injured in a hit and run on the highway and would need emergency surgery. She doesn’t let the kids in the room and has them sit in the waiting area until the procedure is done. The one thing she didn’t take note on how much the suddenness of the situation affected them cause as soon as she came out after the surgery was done, she was bombarded with questions and worried looks on their faces, asking if the dog was alright.

Even after she explained that everything was okay and calmed them down, she could still tell that the ordeal bothered them. So with permission, she allowed the boys to visit the dog once he woke up from the anesthesia and kept he company so it wouldn’t feel too lonely, with Maddie joining them on her break. The boys (mostly Sonic) decide to give the dog the nickname “Lucky”, due to the sure luck of him getting through such an ordeal and able to keep going as if he was invincible.

it’s a dream come true for me!! i usually don’t like ballad-y and pop songs, but jayci yucca was always my exception. i liked all his cute and sweet songs and rock songs. i never imagined he would actually make a trap album just for fun some day. and it is so much fun for me too! it’s very much a no skip album. and ofc producer dnss needs to be mentioned. after they made an album with love songs together, i love how they decided to do a multiple-album project together ^_^ features: kid wine, the quiett, lobonabeat!, skinny brown, leellamarz, don malik, yukon from 0wave, kvsh, street baby, ys block, ny kid.

Mac Kidd - RAMPAGE, 11 songs, 25 min 28 sec

I’m so glad i finally remembered to follow mac kidd on spotify just a few days before this album came out. i was so happy! lately i couldn’t find many rappers that i like but i found him. it isn’t as aggressive as his other songs that i like so much, but still nice and solid! the songs are very short but that’s not unusual. this is what you’d expect from a nice fine underground album. no song gives reason to skip. features: roh yunha, bill stax, choo, yln foreign, oygli, paloalto, huh!.

Koreangroove - RED GROOVE, 7 songs, 15 min 53 sec

the man is unstoppable! founder of friemilli is setting an example and releaseing soo much (good!) music this year and last year, i love it! and finally i understand the meaning behind the colors :D his name is koreangroove right, and this series of EPs are called “white groove”, “blue groove”, “red groove” - the colors of korea. it seems the series is completed with this one. once again, all songs are good! features: chilln homie, dawn dox, rosy barbie, dj 2bae, m!kyle, lil poet, ny dogg, kitsyojii

Been up since 4 with lil dude for..no known reason. He's just chilln, but awake.

Big Sister gets up in an hour for school...do I just stay up even though he's asleep now? Husband is more than capable of getting her ready and does it alone 9/10 times anyway but it is always nice to have a spare set of hands or to be able to pee with the door closed because someone else has eyes on Mischief Maker.

But if I do that I'll be up til 730ish and brother will be awake again between 8-9...and won't nap til 10/11 before sister pickup at 12... So I risk only getting 30 minutes and then MAYBE an hour later this morning...

Sorry husband it's ZZZzz for me .

● Around maybe between the framing/run away arc to cal mira he starts to grow fangs, scales, claws due to the fact that yes the things he put into his shield effects it but if it's a living powerful soul like the zombie dragon then it also effects him. Anyways during the gang just chilln on the beach they all notice lil wings starting to grow and soon by the arcs between going to the other world and becoming count gets bigger and bigger. Til he can fly! :D

“So how did this even happen?” the stranger asked as they pulled some sort of odd device from seemingly nowhere. They held it up, and Pix blinked as a weird beam scanned him up and down.

“I… sort of drank a magic potion? By accident?”

“What kind?”

“Awkward, I think he said it was?”

“Okay, that’s weird. Awkward potions aren’t supposed to do anything.”

“So I’ve been told,” Pix said dryly, “Zloy said they were a base for other potions or something.”

“Yeah. They don’t do jack on their own, they’re just a base for other potions to come from. I guess it’d make sense that a Human couldn’t handle much magic in general, let alone undirected magic…”

“That’s what Zloy said, too,” he squinted slightly at his captor, “almost word-for-word.”

“Ha! That’s new. I learned a lot from him, though, so I guess I might use some of the same language. Didn’t imagine that’d translate to English, though.”

“He taught you potion brewing?”

“He taught me a lot of things. Potion-brewing was one of them. He wanted me to be able to manage ʖᔑ∷ʖ∷ᒷ∴ᔑ if she needed maintenance,” their head angled. “At least, that’s what he said. It was probably because he wanted to make sure I could make a Weakness potion if necessary.”

“Weakness?” Pix echoed curiously.

“Does pretty much what you’d expect it to. It’s part of managing Zloy’s… the closest word would be zombification. Managing that if it gets too far out of hand.”

“It can get out of hand?!”

“His control’s pretty good. Can I take a sample of your breath?”

“Uh, sure?”

“Don’t stick anything in his mouth and you’ll be fine, I imagine,” the stranger continued. “Like I said, his control's pretty good, and if he hasn’t eaten anyone yet he’s probably not going to. Unless the body gets stripped of safeguards and fried again, but if that happens we’ll probably have bigger problems. Don’t stick anything in his mouth and we’ll be golden.”

“What happens if I stick something in his mouth?”

“He’ll probably bite it automatically. Blood sample?”

“Why do you need a blood sample?”

“I want to see how deeply embedded the magic is in your body.”

“Oh, okay. That’s fine.”

Ren hefted his sword, not liking how out-of-practice he felt. Training opportunities had unfortunately been few and far between since he’d Respawned, since Zloy didn’t really have easy access to a place large, private and soundproof enough to really go at it.

The hole- which had water at the bottom- led to a hall. It was fairly simplistic, just carved out of the stone in a two-by-three, but it confirmed what Ren had feared- this was Player-made, and pretty recently, too.

What would a Player want with Pix? He was just… Human. He was perfectly lovely, of course, but to an outsider…

Zloy splashed down behind him, the flimsy illusion completely gone. They were doing this as themselves, Players to Player, and may the gods be kind to whoever had taken their friend from his home, because Ren sure wouldn’t.

“Which way?” the zombie asked, his tone terse. Zloy had his own sword and shield equipped.

“I’m not sure, dude,” Ren admitted.

“We’ll split up then. Yell if you find him,” Zloy’s eyes were starting to develop the film that indicated a zombie on the hunt. He’d stop at nothing to find his perceived prey; Ren had seen Cleo do exactly the same thing, and it was always terrifying to be on the receiving end.

Ren nodded, and started down one direction. He heard Zloy’s light footsteps as he went down the other.
