The story begins when Hinata's team (though only Komaeda and Hinata appear in the manga) finishes defeating the remnants of despair in an area. I hope you enjoy it!:

Komaeda said in the killing game that I didn't care when I died or that you could kill me without hesitation or anything like that, but I hope that after he wakes up from NWP, he will say, "This is the life Hinata-kun saved for me, and I can't just throw it away," or something like that. (And I want him to talk about it on his own, even though no one has asked him about it. 😄)

after years of spending time with each other, you already know how sharp iwa's instinct could be. his talent only improved when you two finally started your own family.

"kira-chan, let's decorate papa's cupcakes, okay?" you gently said while opening the bags of marshmallows, sprinkles, and chocolate chips. "he must not catch us making these."

little kira's ponytail bounced as she nodded her head. her curious eyes watched your every move as you picked up several chocolate chips to decorate one of the cupcakes.

kira reached out for the bag of sprinkles. her eyes slightly widened when the bag made a sound in the process. she looked at your direction but you only chuckled at her before kissing the top of her hair.

"papa won't hear it. don't worry," you said softly while placing the cupcake you did in the cupcake organizer.

your little girl tried to copy your movements, only for her to frown when she saw three sprinkles on the top of the icing. she turned to you and watched as you placed the sprinkles on the cupcake.

"ma, pu' mo'. kiwa wan' pu' mo'." ["ma, put more. kira want put more."]

you smiled and showed her how she can put more toppings on her cupcakes. you grabbed a handful of marshmallows before slowly releasing it from your hand.

once again, your adorable little toddler copied your action and this time, she was successful. her eyes twinkled with joy when she finally see more colorful sprinkles on the top of her cupcake.

she clapped her hands and cheered with her adorable tiny voice. "kiwa did it! yahoo~!"

as much as you wanted to tell her to keep her voice down, you couldn't help but feel proud of your growing child.

but of course, you knew that her victorious cheer woke up that day's main character.

you glanced up and met the gaze of hajime, whose bed hair is still quite comparable to that of a bird's nest. although his eyes were squinting, you could tell that it's been a while since he started watching you and your daughter.

"you're not supposed to be awake yet," you grumbled while watching him walk towards the kitchen.

"papa, dun cam. papa no no!"

hajime pouted before kneeling next to kira.

"but papa wants to say good morning to mama and kira."

"but sprice, papa. sprice!" she emphasized making you chuckle while nodding.

hajime laughed before placing a tender kiss on kira's forehead.

"but kira already surprised me."

little kira gasped, covering her lips with her tiny hands. "really?" she asked with wide eyes.

iwaizumi nodded his head. "really!"

"when?"

"when kira kissed papa's head earlier."

your daughter turned to you with wide eyes. "oh no!"

you and your husband laughed at her cute reaction. hajime stood and walked towards you.

he wrapped his strong arms around you as he rest his chin on your shoulder.

"you've been awake since we started, huh."

"uh-huh," he responded while nuzzling his face against the crook of your neck. "thank you, love."

"happy birthday, hajime."

"i love you," he whispered while looking at you, his lips were inch away from yours. his lips looking more inviting for some reason. l

when you were about to share a kiss with your husband, a tiny voice suddenly spoke.

"done, mama? done?"

when you and your husband looked down, you saw how little kira was covering her eyes while taking a peek in between her fingers.

you and your husband chuckled before peppering your child with kisses.

"happy birthday, papa!"

"happy birthday to me, indeed," he replied as he pulled you and your child closer to him.
