I don't know why but for some reason I also think there is an r in the word "Haken". And I am always wrong.
I will still constantly think "wait, is it Haken or Harken?"
Imaging someone trying to write "hook" as "hoork" and they have to remind themself that there is no r in a word that doesn't even sound like there would be an r.
Also funny thing (or not), the verbs "haken" and "hacken" are almost pronounced the same. As in a long a or a short a and mean "hook" and "chop", which I feel like could create some problems if someone pronounces it wrong.
