Y'know, I think you and a lot of people mistake House for being homophobic, racist, sexist, and transphobic (maybe a little more credit to that one, but if the show was being made in more modern day we might see otherwise). None of them remotely realize,

He literally said "white, skinny, pretty people make all the rules in society" at one point. All of his actions prove that he believes women are just as capable as men are, if not more so in some cases, especially with Thirteen and Amber. He's FIERCLEY pro choice and doesn't even try to hide it or pretend otherwise.

And while he definitely has some pretty terrible stuff going on with intersex/trans people, the show frames him in a bad way for doing so.

House is a horrendous person in a lot of ways, but he's not ACTUALLY a bigot. He just likes to pretend to be because he hates it when people like him and tries to push them away.

One thing I like so much more about tumblr than reddit is how much longer posts last on here. When you make a reddit post you can tell within the first ten minutes whether or not people like it. If you get any comments it'll likely be that fast too. Unless your post is mega popular it just *disappears* almost immediately. It really does feel like you failed to make an impression, like you speak up during a group conversation and nobody turns to answer you.

On tumblr I'm still getting the occasional like on my post about my rabbit almost a week after I made it, same with the dumb American psycho meme I made. I'm not going to lie and say I've been making new friends on here just yet but I feel so much more *seen*. It's nice.
