i guess, tiny add on to that mini essaything i wrote earlier:

Gabriel and V1 communicate through spars, with each their own ways of expression unique to themselves, which can also be somewhat interpreted by their range in relation to the other (especially Gabriel)

if, once again, V1’s fighting style is more or less up to the player (going from full arsenal going from sawblades and tasers to calculated coin tricks to only using one of its fists) Gabriel has his own definite movesets in each of his fights.

in 3-2, his attacks are more distance based compared to 6-2, where in 3-2 around half of his attacks are throws (dual hatchets, explosive spear) he gets much closer to V1 with J and S in 6-2, with only his swords throw and manifest sword dance on Violent, similar to a crown, a farandole

Gabriel’s feelings towards v1 have evolved and it is visible through his moveset, basically. afar and distanced to a stranger he only feels disdain towards for 3-2, before closing up and realizing he’s lovestruck, infatuated with this object who somehow beat him in combat twice, something notable enough to have him experience “the joy of a struggle” for the first time. it’s again a duet in a way, a pas de deux maybe, even. a love declaration in the form of slashes and pure expressions of excitement and love bordering on outright lust, cuts and bruises serving as kisses in lieue of any mouth neither could ever have had. it’s a beautiful dance, where hatred has melted into passion for the movements, the blows and the other.

i wonder how will 9-2 pan out, as someone who spent his time drawing more than P ranking anything other than Limbo and 4-4. remembering Hakita saying he is telling “a story, not history” while encouraging gabv1el as an idea does bring me a tiny bit of hope but we shall see, as none of us is clairvoyant
