I identify as godkin/divinekin, but I'm not arrogant in life, and despite my wide range of memories, wasn't previously. In fact, I was always either depressed and sullenly floating through space, or trying to help but finding I couldn't interfere due to so many others around me. I was worshipped at times before, but I can't feel that now. Does it make me a bad person to want that comfort again? -💫

No, but you can’t have that comfort while human, so settle for attempting to make friends like the rest of us. Though I think you understand that.

I stress not being arrogant as godkin not because any of us actually are- all cases of that I have seen have come from 14-15yos where it is literally just a case of not enough life experience and immaturity, and it was fixed by explaining that you can’t be like that to others. It’s more so because people who aren’t godkin and don’t care to know about us like to mock us for being all ‘high and mighty’ (and end up being rather hypocritical, but that’s another complaint for another day.)

If it looks like we’re obviously stressing ‘don’t be arrogant’ to each other, others really don’t have a leg to stand on.

That being said, it is not wrong to miss being what you were or the advantages that came with it. It would be wrong to seek worship again in this life, but you seem to know that.

You can do what most of us do and set up a shrine, posting a link in the godkin tags {godkin, actuallydeific} and a couple of us who are on the ball will post a couple of pictures as long as the favour’s returned. It isn’t much, but it does help. And if you ask someone directly to do that, they probably will. Nobody could fault you for that.
