vesper + zevran

honestly they'd be really sweet together, especially if they're both origin-aged (little 19/20 y/o vesper, bless). one thing vesper really appreciates in a relationship is someone she can laugh with, so she'd like zevran's good humor. he'd uncover her mischievous streak and they'd have a lot of fun laughing together. I also think they are both maybe a little weird about autonomy and freedom and agency (circle mage + crow assassin) and they'd find common ground there. vesper would feel like she's able to be honest and open with zev and zev would feel respected and understood.

(vesper/morrigan is also very good, but when they're both inquisition age—the two of them get along magnificently well while morrigan is at skyhold and there's a bit of an 'in another life' vibe there)

vesper + fenris

so what I'm learning about vesper is that she's kind of soft for a sad man with a sense of gallows humor and a lot of trauma around autonomy and power. fenris is unfortunately vesper catnip—she likes strong warriors, she likes a sense of humor, she likes someone who's going to give her time and space when she wants it, she likes someone who will take things slow. she'd completely understand his distrust of mages—honestly it would be a comfort to know that he could put a stop to her if she lost control. she'd be furious and protective on his behalf without diminishing his fight or his survival. and they'd communicate well, when push came to shove — they're both pretty level-headed grown ups about most things. I think they'd have a really nice relationship

but also, she doesn't really have her eye on anyone at the moment (she'd have to have a friend first 💀) so it's hard to say. most of the wardens are too tightly strung and it's not exactly like we're meeting a bunch of new people. obv warden recruiter nora is there being a Whole Snacc but she doesn't seem the type for casual flings and minah isn't that interested in sleeping with authority. honestly I think she could have some short-term fun with riya but also minah would rather peel her skin off than be intimate with anyone in the party, so maybe not. damn. can't believe I gotta add "find minah a hookup" to the timeskip to-do list
