DID YOU GUYS FORGET WHAT MONSTER REBORN HAD DONE TO YUGA IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

LOOK AT HIS FACE! Yuga inadvertently brought back that card, which led to Goha Yuga to try and wipe the minds people. Yuga nearly lost the bonds he made with so many friends because of it. He was so wrecked with guilt and stress, that he could barely even duel. Yuga has witnessed what horrible things that card can do. He is afraid of it. With all that, I can understand why he would want to get rid of it. This is not just about keeping Duels in the hands of children. It's making sure that card doesn't hurt anyone.

Even if Monster Reborn was created to bring the Velgearians back, that doesn't mean it won't be used for evil purposes later. Yuga is willing to be hated by others if it meant preventing something bad. He was willing to stay in the past, away from the people he loved, if it meant doing what he felt was right. He was willing to be alone.

And this is Yuga we're talking about guys! For all we know, he could have thought of an alternate way to bring back the Velgearians. This is the kid who is usually 10 steps ahead. Now I know what you're going to say. "If Yuga did think of another way, why hasn't he told anyone?" Since when has Yuga ever been good at explaining his plans? He only ever really does it when it's actually happening.

Hey, if people can go on complaining, I can go on defending.

This is a little lost-in-translation joke, but basically Dinois is speaking like a gangster here in order to try and express her displeasure and possibly intimidate Zaion. Unfortunately for her, Zaion isn't fazed and only responds to her aggression with sarcasm.

I just finished watching Go Rush 105...

Yeah that was the best episode of season 3 so far, not that it was even a contest but.

MANABU WAS TREATED WELL HERE. Like, he IS in S1 form. Ok yeah there was the beginning joke, but I am NOT holding that against the rest of the episode. Seriously though, Manabu you're an idiot why did you feel the need to step inside the fucking high-tech fridge?!

That aside, time to rave on the best part of this episode for me

EPOCH. Oh I love her development here. The beginning of the ep context made this SO MUCH BETTER than it was when all I saw was this screencap. Also nice Luke nod with the twice thing, it makes me happy seeing a lil bit of both Tiger and Luke in her. Although, are we just not gonna get an explanation for why Luge is still staying in the mansion other than 'gotta set up Luke getting genes from him somehow'. Meh, that's what my AU is for.

Anyway, this was a REALLY good episode, way better than I had expected. Next week... hoo boy that episode will be... SOMETHING. I'm still gonna enjoy it but god I can hear the complaints now, and WHY is mr. green darkman Bleu Air calling Nyandestar mama?!

かわいい子 kawaiiko "My dearest child."

Because I foresee this causing confusion, I am here to clarify.

Yuamu is not literally calling Yuuga her child. As in, he is not her son (future or otherwise). We have all seen Yuuga's mother already.

"Kawaiiko" can be used to refer to anything that's cute or lovely, not just children. For example, a host may call a client かわいい子ちゃん (kawaiiko-chan) to flatter them and provide fanservice. In this example, both people are adults.

The reason why I kept "child" is that Yuamu's dialogue implies that Yuuga is her far-flung future descendant, not Yuuhi's. Emphasis on the far future.
