hey gang!  Long time, no hear I know.  After almost four years my laptop gave up the ghost on me.  It fought the good fight considering how hard I use my laptops but I lost all my pictures and saves of Cronor!! (so much angst over that)  I finally got a new laptop and am currently reuploading (dang does it take forever) all my Sims 3 stuff from the ground up but - no new builds or world reviews for a while until I’ve got shop set up again.

In the meantime I did get to play some Sims 4 Strangeville and I’ll put those pictures below a cut since its spoilery.  Sims 4 is nice and fast so that’s fun but I just can’t get any excitement about building things on it and I run out of interest in collecting frogs and gardening too quickly to make it a home game the way Sims 3 is.  Strangeville did have great atmosphere though and made for a few fun days of gameplay.

I’ll start at the end since I didn’t take many pictures.  Brought in Suzie Sharpweather from my Sims 3 Amberville.  Somebody had to come save things after all.

she ended up in the trailer park with the cute trailer and took up painting and busking to pay the bills so I didn’t have to mess with an ‘official’ job and could make my own hours.  Things went to fuzz quickly of course and after the proper amount of ransacking secret bases, beating up people for their gear when push ups wouldn’t impress them and having the little nerd at the shop run away when she hit him with antidote she managed to collect a team to go fight the Big Bad.

The team consisted of Suzie:

Enzo the evil scientist (who got jumped by zombies each time and kicked their ass each time)(and yes, you can see I just let the cc fall where it may and didn’t bother fix anyone)

Craig, the military man who brought his coffee with him to the fight because - priorities

and George, who died before we could win the fight but showed up each time and it was just fitting he got to kick the Big Bad from beyond the grave, right?

I had to tackle the darn thing three times before I figured it out enough to win but win we eventually did and lost all that glorious freakish weather and creepy vibe (I know, I plan on booting it back up again if I end up lingering in the game now that we won). 

Anyway, without showing the Big Bad I’ll just say that afterward celebrations were in order and Suz busted out the guitar so a good time was had by all.

look, don’t fuck with my chance at a hot shower okay?  You knew the big bad was going down after this.

and here’s the sad picture Suzie drew with a level seven art degree to express her pain when her friend George died.

anyway, back to downloading stuff.  Hope to catch up with everyone soon!
