tag game: 9 favorite characters
tagged by @gunkreads. this was really hard. lots of people left out that im sad about. tried to keep it to one per source material. not in any particular order
Nyneave al'Meara (Wheel of Time)
Tumblr media
healer wizard. temperament of a tavern brawler but will yell at you if you swear. mama bear over people 1.5 years younger than her. severe personality issues and a dozen complexes. could fight god and win
Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)
Tumblr media
she's a blueprint character for me much as ghost in the shell was very foundational to my taste. introduced me to the world of sci-fi and the amazing ways the genre can play with ideas, WHILE serving cunt
G'raha Tia (Final Fantasy XIV)
Tumblr media
annoying prodigy historian turned spacetime-ripping wizard powered by and bound to an ancient solar power plant. i cant say more cause then we'd be here all day. im Not Normal about this character
Guts/Casca/Griffith (Berserk)
Tumblr media
there should be dissertations written on them. griffith in particular is THEEEE character study of a villain in all of manga but i would not put him as my favorite because i want him shot into the sun and then the sun should blow up
Paul (The Locked Tomb)
Tumblr media
this is NOT cheating to put another multiple character entry as one because Paul as a culmination of two characters arcs is important ok and i have a little room in my brain for them forever. (@keawi's art go look ok!!!)
Susannah Dean (The Dark Tower)
Tumblr media
civil rights activist who gets isekai'd into a high fantasy post-apocalyptic horror western world, becomes a gunslinger, and proceeds to knock it out of the fucking park. she's two personalities duct-taped together. she ain't got no legs. if you look up "tough motherfucker" in the dictionary she's there
Madara (Natsume Yuujinchou)
Tumblr media
not a complex character or anything i just like him so much. hes a kitty. he's funny. he was going to eat natsume but grew to care for him and now they're friends. he will never say this ever. he's actually a giant wolf demon. he lives as a fat cat and goes by nyanko-sensei. he's perfect
Amos Burton (The Expanse)
Tumblr media
apparent bog-standard tough guy character actually a huge delight whenever he's on screen, ends up having an insanely compelling arc. prime poor little meow meow material of the S-tier guard dog trope variety and that wins an insane amount of points with me
Ishmael (Moby Dick)
Tumblr media
this is not a joke he's my favorite narrator to ever do it. it's so much fun to be in his head, he's deranged and hilarious and a genuinely weird little man. king of tangents and making shit up
potential next victims: @iwishtobeafish @crowbandit @blackbutterflypriestess @terramythos @daedricprincessorigin @notimpossibell uhhh idk im curious about everyones but i dont wanna spam tag so just tag me if you see this and feel like doing it ok!!

Notes on my #fragranceJourney so far, as someone who historically gets violent headaches and asthma attacks from wearing perfume:
Not a Perfume (Juliette Has a Gun): very popular and I can see why. Kind of sexy but not musky. Weirdly comforting. Makes me feel sick, but just a little - 1.5/5 headache rating.
Ghost in the Shell, Etat Libre d'Orange -wearing this one now. I didn't only try it for the name, but I won't pretend it wasn't a factor. Was hoping I'd smell like a server room, but it's fruitier than that. Still, pretty nice. Sharp and a little herbal. Fades fast, though! Headache rating: 1/5
Neon Rose, Floral Street: it's narsty. Very sticky, musty, old lady kind of floral. This smells like the drawer sachets my grandma used to get from Michael's, but worse. As an added bonus, makes my lungs burn with a side of light nausea. 5/5 headache rating, if anyone wants this one please come take it.
Neroli Portofino, Tom Ford: you're not gonna believe this, but it turns out Tom Ford fragrances are really nice! I like this one so much I put it on to go make shelves in a room by myself yesterday. Dares to ask the question: what if Mrs Meyers cleaning products were kind of sexy with it? Very herbal and citrusy and a little mysterious. AND a 0/5 headache rating, making it the clear winner so far. I'm going to have to do some bad, shocking things to afford a steady supply of this going forward.
Forecasting: feeling drawn to fucking around with vetiver and oud in the near future. Increasingly possible I'm just straight-up allergic to something in rose or iris scents, thus causing some review bias. Also: if there's a perfume out there that will make me smell like pu erh tea, let a bitch know!

YES. THIS AU IS NOT DEAD!
We've reached an intermission point, aka, a .5 chapter! 1.5 to be exact. Dw babes it's all still a very important part of the plot ^w^
@alexglitches HEYYYYY BESTIEEE I GOT IT
" Sixteen of your peers are remaining to awaken."
That is what Malleus had told him last night, and Leona as well.
Riddle paced back and forth in his room, wringing his hands nervously behind him. There was so much he didn't understand, it felt like madness. And if there was one thing he could not tolerate as head of Heartslabyul, it was madness.
He thought back to what Malleus had said, that he "had never seen so many seers in one place" and that they had to do "everything in their power to rally their forces."
The shrieking, searing pain of his own awakening ghosted over his bones, making Riddle shudder and halt his steps for just a brief moment. Had Leona experienced the same thing? It was a horrifying thought, the image of the lion letting out a scream like his own before the glass. Was Malleus commanding them to put everyone through that?
Riddle shook his head, his hands moving up to smoothe over his already-straightened hair. His train of thought chugged on, and before long his mind was caught on the enigma of what that lion had done in the void. Scratching at himself and shaking, making himself able to step out of his own skin. It was strange to be sure, but it couldn't hurt to try.
The housewarden looked at his forearm, pulling off one black glove to reach his now bare wrist. He timidly looked at his other hand as he discarded the glove on his desk. Riddle hesitated for a moment, before dragging his fingertips across the skin of his arm, stopping cold when he felt it catch against an ever so thin split in his skin, perfectly down the middle. His eyes grew wide as his hand flinched back like he had been burned, his whole body quaked at its betrayal of itself, his hands frantically trying to shake off the feeling as hard as they could.
This action, however, only caused the small split to open more, like a mistreated wound. His forearm, sleeve and all, had split perfectly down the middle, an ample gap of about an inch wide to see the purple flesh beneath it.
Riddle cried out upon seeing what lay underneath his skin. He backed away from his own arm, bumping into the post of his bed. Riddle swung around in surprise, the half-opened segment crashing into what he had just hit. The impact of the blow only opened the split more, now opening past his elbow.
His heartbeat pounded in his ears as he stared in a panic at the split and the second skin it revealed. He tried rationalizing it as much as he could to quell his erratic thoughts. It didn't hurt, really, it wasn't bleeding, maybe it wasn't permanent? Everything can heal... he hoped. It didn't seem to have affected Leona much.
His brain was going at a million miles an hour as he paced a few steps, staring down at his open shell. But, with a determined breath, his train of thought had arrived at decision's station as curiosity got the better of him. Riddle began to pry at the split in his upper arm, and when that opened, he slipped his now purple hand out from the skin of his hand, freeing his arm. A quivering giddiness whispered to him as he took off his other glove and began to open that side as well.
The room was dead silent, save for the sounds of soft scratching from nails against bare skin, his uniform rustling as it too split into halves, and the ticking of the clock. The panels didn't sound like Riddle had expected it to, lacking the sort of wet, fleshy quality of corpses in horror movies. He hooked his thumbs into the split that made its way across his chest, pushing outward to open it and expose the second slit that formed a cross down his torso. Opening that felt as if he were taking off a costume. It went from his stomach all the way up to his hairline, and he turned to the mirror once he reached the opening lines in his face. He noticed that the rhythm of his breathing made the disturbed panels of outer shell open ever so slightly as he breathed in and close as he breathed out.
And, for a while, he simply stared.
The curtains had been drawn, and he hadn't spared the clock a glance since he had stopped pacing, but his sense of time was strong, and Riddle knew he would be back before his rule-mandated tea was due.
Riddle began to fully detach himself from the shell, and before he knew it, he was completely freed from it. Riddle looked around, looking over at his mirror.
Everything but his eyes was completely purple, and where there had once been visible, defined features, was now an indistinguishable mass simply sharing his silhouette. Anything that overlapped seemed to disappear, and if he were to close his eyes, it would seem like he simply didn't have any.
Riddle reached out to touch the mirror, but immediately recoiled as his hand passed through it like air. He blinked, curiosity taking over as the shock died down. His hand moved to touch the smooth glass surface, his own reflection bringing up memories of the player. He hoped that he would be able to see them again soon.
Just like before, Riddle's hand went straight through the mirror, but now he was even more curious. He gripped the side of the mirror, expecting to pass through that as well, but was surprised to find out that it felt as solid to him as ever. He moved the mirror to inspect the back of it, his expectations once again defied as he could not see his other hand coming through the other side. It seemed that he had found some kind of portal in the mirror, only accessible once he had shed his outer skin. He put his other hand in and mustered up his courage, after a while finally stepping in, and abandoning the shell.
When Riddle had gotten his bearings on the other side, he looked around, slate eyes widening as it dawned on him where he had ended up.
The void.
And, not too far off in the distance, was the glass, dark and reflective. It didn't carry the same ethereal shimmers it had when the player was present, but it looked... different. It almost looked as if it were moving, ever so slightly, not breathing, but writhing.
Riddle came closer, abandoned by caution, and as he approached, he could see that it wasn't the glass itself that he saw moving. It seemed to be covered in a strange, slime-like substance, thick, but with a ghostly translucency at its base, taking on a hue of the faintest black at the tips of the tendrils that formed from it. That must have been what Riddle saw writhing. Had that been there the entire time?
He reached out a hand to touch one of the tendrils, only to cry out in surprise as it latched onto his arm. The purple flesh it made contact with burned with the same kind of pain that had consumed him upon his first arrival in the void, pulling a scream from Riddle's throat. He grabbed onto his arm with his other hand, trying desperately to pull himself away. It dug into his skin like a rope tied tightly, and the pain began to spread.
Caught in a rush of panic, he didn't even consider the risks he was about to take by casting in his current mental state without his magestone, but he didn't care. A wide burst of flame shot out around him, spreading once it made contact with the glass. In seconds, the tendril was gone, and a large patch of the remaining substance was burnt off the glass. Riddle stumbled back, clutching his arm close to his chest. It felt like the pain had evaporated, but he was still shaken.
Riddle flopped down to the floor, or was it... ground, of the void, trying to calm himself. He looked back at the glass, just in time to see the large gap begin to close itself, otherwise unaffected. A sigh escaped him, knowing he still had time until he had to return. He didn't want to take another step, still trying to get his bearings, so he decided to stay for a little while longer. Maybe he could see the player return. Riddle closed his eyes, exhaling into the silent darkness. After a few moments, something dawned on him, and he shot up. Panic, although less pronounced as before, shot through him again.
How was he supposed to get out of here?!?
For a while, all was quiet in Heartslabyul, well, as quiet as this particular dorm could be, and Cater couldn't help but to wonder why. He tried not to let it bother him as he approached the housewarden's quarters, simply needing to ask a quick rule-related question. Riddle was the one to go to about the rules, after all.
The only sounds in the hallway were footsteps and the soft, scattered notes of the tune Cater was humming, but after the creak of a door, there was silence.
Cater stopped dead in the doorway to Riddle's room, staring. Standing in the room was his housewarden, but something was terribly wrong. His skin looked like he had been dissected from his forehead to his fingertips to his legs, or like some sort of casing that had been opened. There was nothing inside the skin, no flesh, no bone, no eyes, and yet it kept its shape as if it were solid.
The petrified boy stood shock still, green eyes wide with terror. The empty skin had been facing the other way when Cater had first opened the door, but, as if alerted by the noise, spun its head completely around to face backwards. At first, its face was whole, and its eyes covered in shadow, but it opened itself when it heard his breath come out in a whimper, revealing its hollow eyes. His heart was pounding in his chest, each beat telling him to get out, get out, get out, get out, get out, GET OUT.
Cater wanted to step away, hell, to break into a dead sprint and get as much distance between him and WHATEVER that thing was, but he was too scared to move. His brain was in a war with itself, screaming at him to run, but knowing at the same time that if he moved even the barest inch, or made even the smallest sound, it would set it off. And just before he could muster up the courage to pry his eyes from it, he heard the sound.
His phone had buzzed.
The sound set Cater off before it did the monster, sending him careening down the hall as fast as his legs could carry him. He heard rapid footsteps coming up from behind, and looked back in a panic. It was after him, the split in its skin widening as if it were an open maw about to eat him alive. He let out a scream, desperately beginning to call for help.
" TREY! ACE! DEUCE! SOMEBODY! HELP!" Cater yelled frantically, rounding a corner with a sharp turn, making him almost slip on the edge of the checkered carpet. He was quick to recover his footing, but he had lost his momentum, and the thing was gaining fast. Cater made the mistake of looking behind him in his panic, and let out a scream as he saw that the hollow creature of skin was closing the gap between them with its frenzied, all-fours sprint.
It was only when Cater felt his next step sink past the steady surface that he had previously been running on did he look forward. He had reached the stairway, but had been too busy looking back at his pursuer to notice. Cater's foot missed the first few steps, his heel slipping off the edge of the step it finally made contact with.
The floor surged upward in a rapid blur, the third-year's panicked scream being abruptly cut off by a sound akin to someone forcibly opening a hatch, and the skin of his own face splitting into four segments on impact. The mouth of the purple second skin beneath was still wide open, but the sound that erupted out was nothing a human could ever produce. The rest of his body tumbled forward, the rough slam of his spine against the steps violently splitting open his chest as well.
The momentum of his fall propelled him onward, but as his head shot forward once again, the outer shell that had once been his own immovable skin detached completely from the luminous purple inner layer it no longer hid. The innards reached the bottom before the skin, wailing horrifically in pain and leftover fear, not registering his own shell having parted from him until it collapsed beside him.
Rapid footsteps approached from an adjacent hallway, belonging to none other than Trey, who rounded the corner with his pen at the ready. He looked around for any sort of danger, his eyes locking on the purple silhouette of Cater sprawled out on the floor, trying to crawl towards him.
The boy's hand flew upwards to muffle the sound of shock that tried to escape him, immediately pointing the tip of the pen at the whimpering figure. The strange Cater-like creature let out an indecipherable cry, practically throwing himself backward to avoid any potential attack. Trey's eyes darted to the side, the wild terror in his golden depths making Cater turn to look too late.
A blur of opened flesh rapidly overtook his vision, prompting a cry that was soon muffled before finally coming into clarity as the sound of something snapping shut clicked from around him. It felt like every inch of his body was being clamped down on tightly, but what horrified him most wasn't the feeling.
He could hear Riddle shouting.
Cater shut his mouth, and the noise stopped. A whimper, completely out of character to hear in Riddle's voice, sounded dangerously close. Cater turned to Trey, Riddle's eyes wide as saucers.
" T-... Trey...?"
Everything looked normal, at a glance. It was undeniably Riddle sitting there in the middle of the stairway, huddled in on himself, but something was terribly wrong. His pasture-green irises didn't match his eyes, shrunken in comparison to their usual grey, and his expression of panic seemed to fail to fit his face entirely.
Trey stood, frozen in place, unable to do anything but stare at what was clearly not his childhood friend. Cater looked down at his hands in complete silence, blinking owlishly at what he saw. He turned them over, then back again, breath caught in his throat.
And, with Riddle's voice, he screamed.

Gin and Talking Pictures | Ghost in the Shell (2017)
Tumblr media
I'm not going to go into much detail here because this film has been reviewed to death and I have all the same complaints as everyone else. I have watched some of the anime TV show (thank you SBS Australia) which of course I loved, specifically the use of colour, the feel of the city, and the premise itself.
This film can't even get the basic concept right - she's a ghost in the shell because ALL OF HER, even her brain, has been replaced with cybernetics. This is why the audience, and Motoko (in this film played by Scarlett Johansson for some reason), have some questions about her humanity. In this version, this question is explored clunk-ily at best, in an on the nose way at worst, and it doesn't really work because she has a human brain. The world is mostly desaturated and bland, losing the humanity of the place... Theres no ghost in the shell of this film, no human feeling, it just feels like corporate greed. It feels like the distillation of capitalism in a film. They took out all of the humanity from the premise and left a boring, bland, husk. Maybe that's dramatic, but that's how I feel, hahaha. :P
The good things? I mean they made a film that maybe if you hadn't seen any of the original material might be enjoyable. I liked some of the scenes and found this version of Batou to be different from the original but still interesting... I wish they had explained his cybernetic eyes in a better way though. Otherwise, there isn't much here to like. For me, anyway.
This is a below average film and I do not recommend it. I'm giving it an extra .5 for Batou being different but at least averagely interesting... 1.5/5 stars.

Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media

Throws crystals at the rift. Ask not why I hadn't become summoner. "Heroic Spirits from beyond the throne! Heed my GACHAAAA!!!!!!"

"Let's go David, Murasaki and Castor!"

Be back in a month or Event whichever is later. Lostbelt 6 is long~~~~~~ and there be dragon and a knight of the round to summon. F2P for five years on the NA server now. Time sunk and somewhere middle of the storyline with JP server as the reference.(7 shards destroyed, no end in sight).
Game be like ARR in the beginning for being draggy until they improve in London / Camelot. Is much reading too, play at your own risk. You're the Ascian or G'raha of the other game. You see the rejoining from the villain side. In view of recent Pandemonium stuff. Gudao(ko) needs a hug.
Essentially
Season 1 the singularities would be something like G'raha (or Alexander) going back in time to correct minor to major changes and maintain the original world.
Season 1.5 is stopping the more dangerous changes
Season 2 is when the World (essentially bleached like The Empty) becomes sundered and 7 shards growing to potentially fight each other to become the dominant reality. All seven shards have grown away from the timeline that they are messed up somehow - A world of fairies, a world of constant reincarnation to reach perfection, immortal Greek utopia, dinosaurs rule the world! Ghost in the shell AI-ish emperor is watching you. Each with their own reverse WoL trying to stop you.
5 shards have been destroyed by Chaldeas. JP story hadn't show the end after shard 7 yet(maybe this year's end?). Much speculations about if the Source can even be return as it once was.
"GACHA!!! GACHA! GACHA! GACHA!!!"

The last time I glam for this game was Shadowbringers because of Ardbert seiyu's voice selling the theme. Glamour was his adopted's sister's spiritual powers sealed up given form.... The Prisma anime theme was weird because lolis and yuri theme(Fate series and all that, don't say I didn't warn.). The serious stuff hits in season three. May or may not tie back to original Fate timeline (whichever one it is now) cause that's another branch.
Heck even FGO is a branch. Gudao(ko) might even end up as the Ardbert of the series.
Don't even start talking about the Moon. That there is another storyline. And I think an alternate or branch timeline or post Fuyuki Grail War has another country trying to mimic Grail War is getting its own anime.
And no I'm not going to do a serious crossover. Its too big. the most I do is poke fun at both.
Would Emet like her? Ask Wodime or Kadoc.

Hello, people of Tumblr! How has everyone been? As always, I hope very well.
This time I bring you a post, the result of a small self-imposed challenge: recreating various versions of Motoko Kusanagi, the cyborg protagonist of Ghost In The Shell, on the Picrew site, in particular, a little game called "Femenine Character Creator" made by artist @kureihii.
Quite simply, despite some limitations, I was more than satisfied and happy with the result, recreating nine versions of Motoko Kusanagi; Each image comes with the name of the character and to which respective stage of the franchise it belongs. I certainly had a fun time and I think I have achieved the desired result, but I will let you judge the work.

Word Count: 1.5 K
Last week, you stole from gangster Bang Chan unknowingly. This week, he has came to your house twice, this time coming with a favor to ask.
...
"Hello, princess." Chan's voice greeted you as soon as you stepped into your dimly lit home. You  remembered that you turned off your lights before going to work so the sight of the lights when you pulled up to your house in your beat up car caused dread to flood your system, stilling the movements of your body.
You could've driven away, chosen to postpone the inevitable, avoid Chan, but you knew the man would just chase after you. Whatever patient feelings he had toward you vanishing and leaving him with a bitter taste in his mouth and a finger on the trigger. You wanted to avoid trigger happy Bang.
You don't say anything for a few moments, just shrugging your bag off, your jacket following suit. As you moved, your brain restricted most of your body's motion, moving slowly during your tasks. You could sense the heat of the gang banger's gaze on your back, but you take your time trying to collect yourself, not wanting him to see you sweat. That decision could prove faulty if the intruder in your outside became impatient. Still, you slowed yourself as you took off the over-garment.
"What? You're not going to greet me?" He taunted in a raspy deep-tone. You caught rustling over your shoulder as he moved him his seat in your dining room. The chair scrapped across the  hardwood of your floor as he shoved the seat into place. You cringed at the sound before tensing up against your command as he sauntered closer.
"And you said I'm the one who doesn't have manners." He goaded before a light scoff drawled from his mouth, his body coming to invade your space from behind. Your body locked immediately, your heart rattling away in your chest as he helped you escape the confines of your jacket. He handed the fabric with such care that the juxtaposition of that and him being a harden criminal you knew him to be was apparent. Rugged, scarred fingers grazed your arm, slowly, gently before stopping on your upper arms before dropping to his side. You straightened, back becoming stiff which only pressed you closer to Chan.
If Chan noticed your reaction he doesn't say anything, he just pulled away taking your jacket along with him and throwing it on top of your tiny dining table. It grazed the table top before falling uselessly to the floor.
You turned completely towards him, no more hiding yourself away.
"Minho," His voice was stern as he spoke to the man unknown to you. You hadn't even noticed him when you walked in. He turned to the other man standing in the corner, silently, his face a mask devoid of any emotions, his eyes black and soulless, "Go take a walk. I want to talk to princess alone for a second."
The man made a grunt of agreement, his dark eyes trailing over your frame as he walked pass you. He flashed you a quick smile, a bloodied and cunning one if you had to describe it. It's only true purpose was to draw out the fear within it's desired victim and it worked, dragging the dead corpse that was once your carefully hidden fear out for them both to see. You breathe caught in your throat and you have to fight to breath again.
The male closest to you leaned forward again, allowing his lips to press against the shell of your ear. You wanted to pull back knowing it was futile, but you tried anyways but Chan caged you in against a nearby counter with his face so close, his breath ghosting over your lips.
Chan had a naturally kind face, soft eyes that might've held the world if he wasn't burned by it and a gentle smile if he allowed himself to do so. The dimples of his cheeks sat there like the perfect imperfection they were. If you both were in a different situation, where you didn't owe him money and he wasn't willing to kill you to get it back, you might've been into his advances. Or, rather his close proximity.
You turned away, thinking your eyes lingered too long on the face of the home invader.
"Look at me." Chan ordered, one his hands coming to grasp at your jaw to force you to meet his eyes. His hands are rough as he forced you to look at him and you jostled in his touch. His eyes pierce yours as you're made to take him in. Twinges of anger swirl in his dark brown, almost black eyes in the night and you shivered at the reach it has on your body.
Even with your head positioned to look at him, your eyes bounced everywhere except for the man before you. Upon your avoidance of the man, you noticed the money stacked high over your table, the one with the fallen jacket beside it. The money that you stole. He had found it or what was left of it. You wouldn't expect anything less from someone who had broken into your house twice.
"Oh," He grinned, following your line of sight to catch a glimpse of the paper bills stacked neatly, "You see the money? You see I counted it, but it's a little short. Like a hundred grand short." Chan turned back to you, dropping his hand from your face and returning to cage you in, "Have you figured out how you're going to get my money back, princess?"
"I-I-" It's the first time you try to speak and you realize immediately how fucking dry your throat his. Chan's lips twitched slightly at your hesitance and offered a mockingly encouraging brow, "I'm t-taking extra shifts at work. I'll get you your money, I just need time."
"Something tells me it'll be a while before you get that hundred grand from your job." He remarked, pulling away from you and walking towards the dining table. He took in your dingy, broken down, one story home, a note of distaste in his eyes as he inspected the place. It was rugged, yes, but it was one of the only places you could afford that was decently away from major crime hot spots. Turns out that didn't matter because crime fucking showed up anyways.
The absence of his presence allowed you to breathe for a moment, before a glint of metal  on Chan's hip caught your eyes.
"You know," Chan drawled quietly, taking his seat at the head of the table like he was the king of the world. He flicked his eyes in your direction as he reached for his hip, revealing a gun dipped in sterling silver and your heart dropped to your stomach, "I usually don't do house calls. I would normally leave that for to the others. Minho for example should've been the one to visit you and your partners maybe along with Hyunjin or Changbin, but when I heard it was a single person who stole half a million bucks from me, I just had to see the fucker who was confident enough - no stupid enough to steal from me."
"Imagine my surprise when I'm told a suburban rat with no priors was bold enough to take from me."
"I needed the money." It was all you can say. It's the truth, but it didn't mean jack shit to the man in front of you. Chan's face remained unimpressed, plump lips thinning into a line as he regarded you.
"Desperation is a funny thing, princess. It can be in response to many events. Heartbreak, finical standing, the need to succeed but the result is always the same. Selling yourself. Whether that be your mind, body or soul. Something has to be exchanged for your errors to right themselves." Chan took his eyes away from you for a moment, brown eyes dragging across the paper in front of him, "Now which one are you willing to sell?" His brow was peaked again, no longer taunting, just plain questioning. It still managed to raise a bit of stress within you.
You spluttered, lips closing and opening as you try to gauge his question with a heavy heart. Your eyebrows furrowed as you stare back at the man eyeing you.
"Y'know, some are lucky enough to end up dead from the their desperate attempts to salvage their lives. Others in prisons and a few manage to come out unscathed only to realizing the mirror will remind them of the scars of their past. But you?" He left out a harsh laugh, dark eyes shining, in the pale moonlight seeping in, embracing your shivering body, "You got the worst fate of all. You're indebted to me."
Chan moved to his feet, swiftly gathering himself and calling for Minho. He stepped forward and you take a step back. His lips curled into a pleasantly cunning smirk at your frighten features.
"There's a shipment coming in at the doc five, downtown. I need you to be there at eleven pm to pick it up and drop it off as this location." He pulled a card with his chicken scratch on it and slide it in front of your face, giving your eyes a break from staring at the hauntingly handsome man in front of you.
Chan shoved the card into your hand, impatient as you just stared at him in disbelief. He turned to leave.
He paused to call your name, "And Y/N?"
"Y-yes?"
"You die the moment you're late. Don't disappointment me , princess."
