Gilmore Girls’ 20th Anniversary Week

Hello there, lovelies! In honor of the show’s 20th anniversary, which is rapidly approaching, we thought we’d facilitate an Appreciation/Anniversary Week in order to celebrate all things Gilmore. Everything is allowed - from the OG series through AYITL - and everyone is encouraged to participate as much as possible. So whether it takes the form of gifsets, fanart, moodboards, playlists, fanfiction, videos, metas, etc., we want to know who and what YOU love most about Stars Hollow.

**The event will be held between October 5-11th of 2020**

Anything you can contribute will be much appreciated. In short, we really hope you participate and can’t wait to see the wonders y’all create!

Here are the themes:

DAY 1 (October 5th—Monday): Favorite main character(s)

DAY 2 (October 6—Tuesday): Favorite scene or dialogue

DAY 3 ( October 7—Wednesday): Favorite townie(s) (Kirk, Michel, Babette, Miss Patty, Taylor + you get the idea...)

DAY 4 (October 8—Thursday): Favorite pop culture reference(s) (music, books, movies, TV, celebrity + whatever!)

DAY 5 (October 9—Friday): Favorite Friday Night dinner or coffee/junk food moment(s) 

DAY 6 (October 10—Saturday: Favorite relationship(s) (otp, brotp, family dynamics, etc.)

DAY 7 (October 11—Sunday): Favorite 2000-era trends & outfits (landlines, flip phones, answering machines, low waist jeans, Lane’s floorboard CD collection + let your imagination run wild!)

Amy Sherman Palladino: We always played that Rory and Jess saw each other for what they were. And that was the great thing about their relationship. He really got her.

Alexis Bledel: They always had an intellectual connection, and he pushed her out of her comfort zone. That was a big part of their relationship.
