I think it's very funny how Nicky likely learnt Arabic long before he learnt Florentine (which is to say Italian).

Giaele e Sisara and Sansone e Dalila by Bartolomeo Guidobono
These canvases by Bartolomeo Guidobono (Savona, 1654 - Turin, 1709) are the most recent acquisitions of the National Gallery of Liguria in Genoa. The monumental pieces depict two biblical scenes from the Old Testament. They most likely belonged to the Spinola family. After the Spinola di Pelliceria palace was donated and became the modern National Gallery of Liguria, the works were found to have been directly connected to the family's inventories and were likely commissioned by one of its members.
Guidobono was one of the most fascinating artists of the late 17th century Genoa. Until recently, there were no pieces by this painter at the National Gallery but a generous donation gifted the canvases to the museum. The pieces were published by an art historian Ezia Gavazza, specialist in seventeenth-century Genoese art.

Y'all, saying that cartomancy is a "closed Romani practice" is like saying money lending is a "closed Jewish practice." Cartomancy was a practice that Romani people were forced into due to discrimination.
Ettellia said he learned tarot from Romani people who brought tarot from Egypt. He was lying to make tarot sound more exotic. Europe was in the middle of egyptomania. There is literally no historical evidence that this supposed origin is even slightly true. Europe has had cartomancy since the Roman Empire.
Around the time that tarot divination was being invented, tarocci decks were fairly new. If there was a "traditional romani cartomancy" method, (which even Romani oral histories do not support) it almost definitely would have been based on the massively more popular Belgian-Genoese pattern deck, not the tarocci deck.

MORIANI
Haute Corse.

MORIANI
Upper Corsica.
This beautiful landscape allows you to discover the beautiful village of Santa-Maria-Poggii in the Bucataggio waterfall and its Genoese bridge. It is quite well shaded but the first part climbs a little. The rocks towards the waterfalls are quite slippery so bring good shoes.
************************************************************************
The Pont Génois de Moriani, located in Corsica, is a stone structure constructed mainly by the Genoese. During the occupation of Corsica by Pisa and Genoa over several centuries, a large number of stone bridges were erected between the 13th century and the 13th century.
