guys i’m going fucking insane over the rebrand

i have so many thoughts

it seems like no matter how long i go without watching a stream or interacting with ranboo’s content, watching their streams always feels like a warm blanket. it makes me so happy just watching them being their authentic self. i was talking to a friend and compared it to being a proud sibling almost in the sense that i’ve been in the community since the beginning, and to see his growth and all is just so amazing. i’m so freaking proud of them and this community.

not to freaking mention how much this silly internet person has influenced me and my life. first off we are way too similar and i laugh at it a lot. (he/they pronouns, v queer overall LMAO, also neurodivergent lolsies sry if that sounds like i’m assuming but the bit of the stream where they said they forgot to take their meds took me OUT bc it’s so me, getting rly interested/hyperfixated on certain topics, and a rly similar sense of humor, and that’s just off the top of my head) secondly they’ve just helped me feel so much more comfortable in my skin bc of their comforting community and content, and i couldn’t be more thankful.

the rebrand just makes me take a step back and think about how much me and my life have changed since watching this silly guy.

100/10 person would recommend watching guys.

just finished therapy so thought i’d talk about some stuff…

…STUFF LIKE GENERATION LOSS YEAHHHH YOU THOUGHT

ok so i’ve always been iffy with horror stuff, when it comes to online projects like analog horror and stuff, it never actually like BOTHER bothers me bc it’s like yeah it’s not real but it’s a cool concept so epic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

when it comes to movies, i never exactly like them because i don’t like jumpscare horror, never been my thing so i’ll only watch ones without them normally.

the ONE thing that will always disturb me about horror media is when it comes to being out of control.

i can do scary creatures and child murderers all day, but the SECOND a character loses any sense of control they thought they had, that’s when it gets me. when characters think they have the upper hand, but the villain has been in control the whole time, the person our protagonist has trusted most turns on them at the last second, that’s what IRKS me.

and i think that’s why generation loss has gotten to that place for me where i put it in the high ranks of the horror content i consume. it WENT there. the last episode specifically. it gave me that sense of lost control so VIVIDLY and i don’t think i was able to explain it until now.

so all of that to say props to ranboo for makin a fuckin awesome piece of media, im so excited for everything else to come 🫶
